5 years ago I had a conversation with my lead university lecturer. I was 18, studying business and entrepreneurship at a university in south west England.

“Raphael..” I asked, opening up a sentence to convey a serious doubt about my decision to go to university…

“Yeah, what’s up Charlie?” Raphael asked.

We were in the building of the faculty of business, surrounded by students typing away busily at keyboards, working on answers for tests they’d soon forget.

“So, um, this course.. When do we.. um, learn… how to sell?”

I’d read a book by a 9 figure entrepreneur saying sales was the most important skill an entrepreneur can learn, so I figured the course MUST cover it.

His response shocked me.

“Oh.. that’s a good one, um… well, to be honest, the course doesn’t teach sales. None of the lecturers at the faculty have really sold before so teaching a course on sales wouldn’t really work right?”

I dropped out the next day, and didn’t look back.

Back then, I was dead broke, and fucking desperate. I had no skills, next to no clients, no experience and nothing going for me.

Fast forward 5 years and I’m making north of $100k/mo with my 12 month old coaching company, Imperium Agency, and clocking a similar 7 figure runrate for my agency, Northflow Consulting.

What the happened in these 5 years?

Work.

Work happened.

In today’s video, I break down my entire story of going from dead broke dropout to twice-over 7 figure entrepreneur. It’s not a very pretty story, and I can promise you ‘talent’ had nothing to do with it.

Just pure, disgustingly long hours of work.

6 months ago, Martin had no consistency in his agency. He’d grown to a certain level, but had hit a plateaux and his growth had levelled off. 

He was struggling to find new clients, generate appointments and build predictable cashflow.

As I’m sure you can imagine, Martin wasn’t happy with this.

So, he bought into some low-ticket courses and appointment setting done-for-you services, all of whom had promised him the world.

Low and behold, after a few months of this, he was no further forward (and didn’t actually sign a single client from any of these investments).

But then something happened……

Martin hopped on a discovery call with me to learn more about our Program, the Imperium Agency Program.

He was extremely skeptical, having been burned before, but after 25 minutes of back-n-forth objection handling I managed to get him onboard.

And boy, am I glad I did, because since joining us, Martin had added $27k in new monthly revenue for his agency, BlueThirst media.

If you find silence uncomfortable, you’re going to find it hard to grow your agency.

Why?

Because on sales calls, silence is without a doubt the single most important tool in your kit (or weapon in your arsenal).

Silence allows the prospect to speak and reveal information about themselves that you wouldn't have otherwise heard, allowing you more leverage when it comes to closing them.

Knowing when the ‘shut up’ is crucial, and in today’s video I’m going to walk you through the two times it’s appropriate to use silence and exactly how to use it to close more deals and make more money than you could possibly imagine.

Amanda is one of my closest friends. We started working together back in early 2021, before Imperium Agency even had a program. After she bought, I had to send her a google drive link because we hadn’t finished some of the modules, but she believed in us and our process because we’d been able to book a call with her!

Here’s an interview with Amanda, where she tells her story of how she added an extra $15,000 in new monthly revenue to her agency, after just 3 months of working with us.

Amanda did hold the record for adding the most in the first week (in the first week, she added $5k in new MRR), but recently we had a client, Jimmy, sign a $110k 18 month retainer deal in the first week, so Amanda has been dethroned, but she’s still a queen in our eyes!

Chances are, you don’t have a framework for this. Shame - it’s probably costing you a fortune and you’re probably missing out on tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of dollars of missed rev.

Napoleon once said “If you want it done, go. If you don’t, send”.

This is a banger of a quote. It speaks logical sense in the current illogical market.

Most people believe when starting their agency or coaching business they can outsource their success. They’re sold lies by gurus believing they can hire a setter, rep and media buyer (or coach) and have a business that runs without them before Christmas time. It’s bullshit, and if you believe this you are in for a nasty surprise.

Here’s a harsh, ugly truth: done-for-you appointment booking solutions rarely work for business owners who don’t understand them. Well, there’s a few real exceptions - there are many talented setters out there. It’s never a skill-based issue, but an incentive based issue.

This might sound attacking and controversial, and weird, so I recorded a video to explain why this is a problem and how it’s going to massively hold you back. Ignore at your peril!

One delusion is see in the current internet business climate is the idea one needs to make big moves to get ahead. 

Early on (sub $100k/mo), it’s seldom about the big decisions you make. Sure, it’s about who you hire and your niche etc, but it’s mostly about the micro decisions you make every day that really drive the needle forward in your company.

When I started my first business, I was under the impression it would only succeed and work if I made big moves and game-theory style strategic decisions. (this was because I watched too much Billions and Peaky Blinders lol).

Look at your life. It’s a product of your behaviour. Look at your behaviour; is it a product of the neurotransmitter dopamine? 

Dopamine runs people’s lives, and most people have no say or control in the way they unconsciously behave because their relationship with stimulus is ruined by dopamine. Today’s video tackles this issue and gives you my exact strategies and methods I used to ‘hack’ my dopamine receptors and system so I can be 10x more productive and get 10x more work done.And no, it’s not going to tell you to ‘fast from dopamine for 24 hours’. That doesn’t work.

The problem with this however is that when you are emerging into who you need to be in order to see success, you cannot expect to become that person in a matter of days. 


It is a slow, gradual process & therefore you need to NATURALLY grow into that person rather than try & force the transformation within an unrealistic time frame because that is simply not a sustainable way of living.

Burnouts are probably one of the most frustrating things as an entrepreneur. 

You can have an incredibly strong mindset & all the willpower in the world but eventually, your body will tap out long before your mind does. 

As a result, you're left in this delusional frame of mind thinking that you could have done more as you’re so locked in from a mental standpoint, when the reality is that you couldn’t because you have physically tapped out (which is fine!).

Whilst burnouts are never a nice thing, it’s a great measuring stick for how far you are able to go before your body clocks out. 

Many people believe that they are working to the best of their ability & they are giving it everything they have, when in reality, they haven’t even scratched the surface.
