I caught up with Odunayo Ojo, aka Ayo from The Fashion Archive YouTube channel. I first came across Ayo’s YouTube channel during my second year at university. Even though I was studying Fashion Design full-time I felt that there was more about fashion history and business that I didn’t know and watching The Fashion Archive videos helped fill in some of the gaps. For the second part of our conversation we discuss the importance of fashion history for both designers and journalists, fashion marketing and how a career in Fashion can be just as good as a career in Medicine or Engineering (talking to our African parents 😉).
