22 Mar 2022 | Gratitude and Purpose Through Pain: Tricia Roos | 00:56:40
One of our favorite quotes from this episode was when the guest mentioned that she was able to find "purpose in the pain," so of course we had to name the episode after it. We felt that this phrase really applied to most of our guest, but it especially applies to Tricia Roos. Tricia is a brave and inspiring mom, coach, speaker, author and advocate. Take a listen to her story and see why we loved talking to her so much. VIDEOS: Cameron Roos sings to Annabelle Park Cities Baptist Feature I Love New Mexico blog page
29 Mar 2022 | Gratitude for Love and Legacies: Emily Johnson | 00:37:55
Wow! What a story. We are convinced that Emily Johnson's life could easily become a movie someday. Emily is a fellow author, but she came to writing in a much less conventional way than Bunny did. After the death of her mother, Emily discovered a half-written novel she had been working on for years. With some help from her mom through a letter and her own conversations, Emily was able to finish the book as well as process her grief in such a beautiful way. Emily's book "Bird of Paradise" co-written by her mother is also a wonderful story that I know our listeners will be itching to read as soon as they finish this episode.
