24 Nov 2022The graceful exit00:16:46

Resignations are an inevitable outcome of having highly talented teams. In many cases, you are the last to know as their peers have been secretly in the know. The entire team is most likely waiting to hear how you took the news.

As a leader, your response to the resignation impacts the remaining team members more than it impacts the exiting individual. This episode discusses how to keep one resignation from becoming an exodus. We discuss steps every manager must take before your top talent walks in the door with that resignation in hand.

09 May 2023NO is the answer you want to hear00:16:24

'No' is a word many of us are so afraid to hear in a negotiation. However, it is essential to understand and be aware of our relationship with it, because as much as we believe 'no' is the easiest word for someone to say, it is not. Join me in this episode to look at ‘no’ in a positive way, a way to make progress, put yourself out there, and let go of the fear of hearing it.
