This segment is meant to help build your understanding of and increase your exposure to words that are common in queer circles (so you start to feel more comfortable in your allyship of queer ppl - we love you we need you allies!). This week, the panel explore the question: what is the difference between sexual and romantic attraction/orientation?

Another fun experiment!

This week, we are giving you a solo experience, the first ever solo venture by one of Sam and Chris!

This week, the panel explores the definitions of gender dysphoria and gender euphoria

Hey y'all, welcome to our grand opening!

We have returned for a healthy season 4, with lots of tasty morsels for you to enjoy! This week, we went roundtable style for a Styles-centred conversation, because there are few hotter queer icons right now. Harry Styles certainly has been making headlines recently, and caught the attention of the gays a long time ago while he was still in 1D with some of his first mentions he might be into guys too. But now he's notable Hollywood celebrity Harry Styles, of a different calibre and applicable to all. So, due to this, and due to Harry being once again asked "r u gAy?" by the media, this week we get into the nitty-gritty with our focus question of the episode: why won't Harry just come out already?!?!?!!!?

Our format for this episode is different than before, but we enjoyed the roundtable style of our conversation for this episode. If it so pleases the court, we would like to continue with this kind of rich conversation into future episodes. But otherwise, what can you expect from this season of HTBQ? Well, honestly all the same GOQS (good ol queer stuff). This week, in the first episode of our Pride Month series, we are in conversation with Martin Boyce, who was there irl on that infamous day that Stonewall was raided and kick started what we know today as Pride! "Martin Boyce is a Stonewall Riot (Uprising) activist, sharing the story of one of the most pivotal queer/trans action in history. The Stonewall Riots (also known as the Stonewall Uprising or the Stonewall Rebellion) were a series of spontaneous demonstrations by members of the gay community in response to a police raid that began in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood of New York City. Patrons of the Stonewall, other Village 2SLGBTQIA+ bars, and neighbourhood street people fought back when the police became violent. The riots are widely considered a watershed event that transformed the gay liberation movement and the twentieth-century fight for LGBT rights in Canada and the United States." We are back in ur feed to drop something cool: weekly terminology mini podcasts! Each Thursday we will be schooling you on a bit of queer terminology to beef up your queer vocab. Queerness and queer theory has an expansive vocabulary list, and we here at HTBQ think that the more words you are equipped with, the more you will understand. Keep in mind, it's us (Sam & Chris, ur hosts), so it's still distilled chaos.

This week we are talking about the non-scientific and non-medical BS that is assigning a gender to babies based on their genitals only. Please tell me any baby's gender if they all had the same onesie on. Babies don't perform gender.

This week on HTBQ (each episode in the new format will be chunked into segments):

S1: Life Update! Each panelist provides the panel with a life update! It can be big or small, it can be in the form of a story, it can be trivial or super important, who knows who cares just give us the juice please!

S2: Queer-ent Events! Each panelist brings with them a piece of queer news that has happened since the last episode. The panelist will be in charge of teaching the panel about that news and fielding any questions other panelists may have, which might include some on the fly googling. This week, the panel highlights jojo siwa, hiv meds, and drag race.

S3: In Queer Terms! The panelists discuss the 2SLGBTQPNIA+ vocabulary word of the episode. This segment is meant to help build your understanding of and increase your exposure to words that are common in queer circles (so you start to feel more comfortable in your allyship of queer ppl - we love you we need you allies!). This week, the panel provides the meaning of the term U=U.

S4: Guest Q&A! No guest this week, but there will be in the future! When we have guests, they will become panelists for the other segments and will also answer 3-4 questions that Sam & Chris want answered!

S5: Panel Discussion! The panel discussion a contentious topic of the day. Or maybe it isn't contentious. Maybe it's just a topic. The panel discusses a topic! And this week, the panel discusses 2021 in review.
