The hotel bears the name of the founder of modern Singapore and with Accor acquiring the hotel, as part of a $2.7 billion deal, Raffles is a name you will be hearing more often as more Raffles hotels open around the world. Raffles represents almost everything I love about hotels. You get a strong sense that Raffles employees really love what they do and are exceptional at it.
