First, we explore the eerie tales surrounding the Indian River Inlet Bridge, which spans the waterway between Bethany Beach and Dewey Beach. According to local lore, the bridge is haunted by the ghost of a construction worker who died during its construction. Next, we venture to Fort Delaware, a former Civil War prison on Pea Patch Island. The fort is said to be haunted by the spirits of Confederate soldiers who died during their imprisonment there.
