25 Dec 2024 | Christmas Special - Jay Wilson's 'Isn't That the Dickens' | 00:11:04 | |
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays! No new interview this week - but previous guest on the show Jay Wilson was gracious enough to give permission to have this audio project he created a few years ago - "Isn't That the Dickens" Storyteller Jay Wilson transforms Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” into a poem called “Isn’t That The Dickens”. Complete with Scrooge, Cratchit, Tiny Tim and of course all the ghosts, this novella becomes “theatre of the mind.” Think of it as a radio play. Add wind, doors slamming, ticking clocks, rattling chains and assorted spooky sounds and you have yourself a new twist on a Christmas tradition. Delightful, amusing and entertaining.
