It’s been a few weeks since our last episode so we are excited to be back! We begin this episode with a recap of events in Pokémon GO. There is so much happening with this game that it is hard to keep up! Adam takes a closer look at the Art from Vivid Voltage and shares his thoughts on the latest expansion.
Twilight Wings surprised us all with a bonus episode that pairs with The Crown Tundra DLC. It was cool to meet Mustard and see all of the gym leaders again. The Pokémon Center has released a new line of plushes that should be extra soft and comfy! We loved how many different Pokémon were released, but fell in love with Substitute.
The Underground Round Up brings us closer to the finish line of the Orange Islands Arc. We are looking forward to the reunion of Ash and Oak, and hopefully learn something about the GS Ball! Only 2 more episodes remain before the end of this story arc.

The Play! Pokémon world had a major shakeup with the announcement of the first ever Players Cup! This tournament is the first of its kind and will feature online competitions in the TCGO, VGC and Pokken Tournament DX! The winners in each category will get a travel invite to one if the 2021 International Tournaments! It will be interesting to see how these competitors do on the world stage!
We take a dive into the art of Rebel Clash and discuss how in addition to being a game and a collectible, each TCG card is a miniature piece of artwork! Pokemon.com breaks it down and discusses artistic concepts, artists, and fun styles like frightened and even Pokémon with facial hair!
Niantic has announced Seedot Community Day for May, with the same Play At Home format that we saw with Abra last month. Also announced was a 24 hour YouTube livestream with an open comment section. We will be sure to be in front of our keyboards with popcorn!
Pokémon Masters continues to keep Trainers busy by introducing a new Fighting themed event as well as a new Sync Pair, Wally and Gallade! Also keep a lookout for Korrina and Lucario as their sync grids will be expanded and prepare for the Fighting Type event!
We finally get into our rewatch of Pokémon The Series, Episode 94 - Tracey Gets Bugged! This episode is filled with battles and excitement, as well as another fun variation of the Team Rocket Motto! Tracey steps up as the featured character in this episode, and we get to see him in action!

We visit the Pokemon Center and fall in love with the massive drop of Sitting Cuties, as well as some Valentine’s Day themed Eevee products. Pokémon GO also has an event running this weekend, and we haven’t decided if we are excited about it yet!

With last episode being filled with action and laughs, we had high hopes for Once In A Blue Moon. Unfortunately, this episode fell a bit short with a less than compelling story and an ending that left both of us confused as to what the point of the show was. While it was great to see Professor Oak and the GS Ball, there was nothing of substance that gave us any additional insight into what the GS Ball even is!
As for other news, we discuss the 25th Anniversary of the Anime and the montage video that Pokémon put together to celebrate. They also tease the return of Greninja in Master Journeys, which is very exciting, especially as we don’t know the context about its return.
A new video documentary has been released about the Pokémon Live stage show and how it almost took Broadway by storm. While seeming painfully low budget, the show actually toured the world and was successful. It is very interesting how little was actually known about the show, until now.

Twilight WIngs Episode 5 was released and the quality of storytelling we have come to know just keeps getting better. This episode features Oleana, and gives us a clear impression of who is really in charge of Galar. Makes us wonder what Chairman Rose is really up to!
The TCG has a cool new product coming soon called the Battle Academy. We see a 3 Deck, all you need to play, version of the TCG being marketed to the board game community. This could be a great way to help other tabletop gamers make the leap to the TCG!
We wrap up with our ReWatch and commentary of Anime Episode 97, Get Along, Little Pokémon. This episode was a dit of a head scratcher as we see the group on a desert island, which is a big departure from the lush green islands we are used to. While we aren’t too sure about this episode, we did leave talking with a southern accent. Yeehaw!

Hey trainers! We begin our coverage by recapping our last week in Pokémon GO! We were able to enjoy a blast of Unova Pokemon and the return of Genesect to raids! With one of the coolest looking shinies, we expect another big week of Remote Raiding from the GO Trainers!
This past weekend was the Pokken Tournament finals in the Players Cup, and the footage was insane! There is something very cool about watching high level Pokken play, as the level of technical know how is a masterclass in the fighting game world.
Pokémon.com put together a great piece to celebrate 20 years of Slowpoke in the TCG! From the most basic of art styles from the Fossil set, to the elaborate Tag Team. Slowpoke has always been a fan favorite and it is easy to see why when looking back at all of the amazing cards that have featured it!
There are a bunch of new products at the Pokémon Center but our favorites have to be the new Pikachu Classics shirts. Coming in at about half the price as the Original Stitch shirts, they provide a nice option for those looking for a lower price point!
We wrap up the episode with our Anime watchalong of Episode 105, The Wacky Watcher! We are introduced to a wild new side character in Quincy Quackenpoker. An eclectic Pokémon Watcher that inspires Tracy and gives Ash a run for his money!

With the release of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX, we dig into GameSpot’s review and discuss what they liked so much about the game. It looks like there are a mixed bag of reviews coming from games media, and we recap a few scores from across the web.
Adam digs in to a Sword and Shield TCG showcase that features some great art and cool techniques. We see some really cool concepts like Pokémon making appearances in other cards as well as multiple artists working on multiple cards for the same Pokemon! What is your favorite card from the latest expansion?
We take a look at some new releases at the Pokémon Center, including some new Funko, plushes, and figures! We are having a hard time resisting the Poké Plush line, but know how to keep things controlled when it comes to An Afternoon With Eevee collection!
We wrap up with a watchalong of Pokémon: The Series Episode 86, In The Pink! This Episode was excellent, but played into the style of not following the main story arc of the Orange League or the GS Ball. It was still fun, but it left Ken and Adam wanting some more substance!

We have a lot of animation news this week! We start with the announcement and trailer for the 23rd season of the anime, Pokémon Journeys! We see Ash on his continued journey to be the best along with his new friend Goh, who hopes to catch every Pokémon! The animation style and theme song leave us wanting more and we are excited for its release on June 12th!
Rebel Clash will release in a few days, and we take a look at a few cards that we expect will become popular in the Standard Format. Eldegoss V along with Boss’s Orders look to be a very powerful combination! Let us know if you will be running any cards from Rebel Clash in your deck!
Abra Community Day was this weekend, and we share the different ways that we experienced the event! Ken went out and played through a solo and socially distant walk through Red Bank, NJ while Adam played from home in his pajamas! Two opposite ways to play that yielded very similar results! Remote raiding is also on the horizon and we are exceptionally excited to give it a try!
Next up is Twilight Wings Episode 4, which turns out to be our clear favorite of the series so far. We see Nessa go through some soul searching to prove to Chairman Rose that she will not be held back, whether as a model or a Pokémon Trainer. This episode has some of the best music and amazing animation we have seen from in a long time.
Finally we wrap up with our rewatch of Snack Attack, which includes a fan favorite Pokémon in Snorlax, however the story falls a bit flat. Even though we just came off an episode where Ash was battling in the Orange League, we revert to another sidewinder story that has nothing to do with the League or the GS Ball. We start with a look at some things to do in the Isle of Armor including the Cram-o-Matic which can help you a lot by upcycling your unwanted items. Another overlooked feature is the ability to reset your Pokémon’s base stats thanks to a Trainer named Lady Clear!
Raid Battles have come to the TCG in a new spin on the game! This seemed to come out of nowhere but we welcome this new cooperative and unique way to play. We will walk you through the basics and we look forward to giving this a try!
Battle Rankings for the TCG and VG Players Cup have been released and we will look at the top of each list. From familiar faces to some brand new contenders, this new format has proven to be a unique experience for novice and seasoned players.

We have a bunch of new animation to talk about this week! We begin with the newly released Master Journeys Trailer which details how Ash, Goh, and Chloe will have 3 separate missions on their adventure to be Pokémon Trainers. This triple arc format looks to be a ton of fun and will be interesting to watch develop as the season progresses. Using the 12 episode block format on Netflix, we get the option to binge or spread out our viewing.
A new Pokétoon was released in Japan and we absolutely love it! Studio Colorido did an amazing job telling a story without the need for dialogue! Amazing animation and incredible music push this story along and it had us smiling the entire time. There is just something about Magikarp that pulls on our nostalgia vibe!
Finally we watch along with Pokémon the Series Episode 118, Flower Power! This episode is tangential to the main story arc but keeps us watching with some great story, humor and of course battles.
