20 Jul 2023Steve Macari - On Leaving the Corporate World, Becoming a Healer and the Power of Qigong01:20:01

"I think Qigong is the ultimate somatic therapy."

Soul family, we're back with another episode! This week, I bring you Steve Macari. Steve spent his twenties and early thirties working within the finance industry as a hedge fund manager and saw his life turn upside down after a surfing accident. Being open, curious, and receptive to spirituality, shamanism, Qigong, and other forms of healing, Steve embarked on a journey of holistic health. He studied the mechanics of health, nutrition, and fitness with Paul Chek and worked as a health coach for numerous years. He later discovered Qigong for himself and began practicing while developing his very own healing technique called O.U.T. - Organize, Understand, Transmute. I recently stumbled across Steve's Qigong videos on Instagram and was instantly captivated. I always somewhat knew that I wanted to extend my spiritual practice and daily routine with more physical exercises, and I feel like I've finally found what I was looking for - thanks to Steve. I admire his calm, wise way of sharing his wisdom around those topics and the very approachable way of his practice with Qigong. Also, Steve's story beautifully displays how life can play out - if we let it, if we surrender. Enjoy!

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Steve's story: From NYC hedgefund manager to a life dedicated to healing - An introduction to Qigong - The healing power of Qigong - Steve's personal healing technique O.U.T. - How to transmute energies and alchemize pain - Fatherhood

23 Mar 2023Justin Lovato - Be Still 01:36:00

"Can you stay open through all situations?" Hello, soul family! I know it has been longer than usual, but there's a lot going on in my human experience at the moment (more on that in the podcast). I'm so grateful for this outlet here. You have no idea. Today's conversation was so soul-nurturing and powerful for me, and I hope it'll also bring some love, clarity, and peace into your life. I spoke with Justin Lovato. Justin is a former bodybuilder, breathwork and meditation facilitator, sacred space holder, and awakened Being. He's the founder of 'Nirvana Mind Body,' and he's one of those guys you look at and go: "I want what he has." At least, that's how it was for me. I was struck by Justin's clear, calm, and nonchalant way of talking about enlightenment and awakening to your true nature, and I wanted to find out more about his context and journey, his meditation practice, his work, and his relationship to others and much more. I really liked this episode and Justin's energy - we really vibed, and I appreciate his work tremendously. So have fun with this one, namaste! 👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as:

  • Justin’s journey and context
  • Enlightenment and how to achieve it
  • "The person" and the beauty of our human experience
  • Justin’s meditation practice

Beautiful soul family, how excited I am to bring you this absolute gem of an interview with such a special guest and human: Luca Fogale. His intentional, tender, soft, thoughtful demeanor, as well as his incredibly moving, honest, and beautiful music, have been big inspirations for me for many years. 09 Nov 2023Anna Brown - Creating Heaven on Earth by Creating Heaven Within (Live from Satsang Garage)01:17:15

"We are just light dancing with each other."

We're back with another banger of a podcast episode featuring a familiar face, our previous guest, powerhouse, and spiritual badass: Anna Brown! I had the pleasure and honor of being the first-ever guest in her soon-to-be-opened Satsang garage—a place to gather in the flesh, a place of remembrance, and coming home to the timeless essence that we truly all are. My intention going into this conversation was to meet the human that is Anna, the mother, the daughter, the wife that she is and decided to be in this incarnation. I'm proud and glad about how Anna and I managed to dance within the realms of non-duality and timeless truths while also taking glimpses and detours through her own personal journey and inner world as a soul inhabiting this sensory suit we call the body. I'm honored to have taken the podcast this far and to be able to travel a foreign continent with these conversations and ever so powerful personal encounters. Thank you for coming along and being here.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Why life as we know it really is a dream
- Living from a place of timeless awareness - The illusion of time - The meaning of 'surrender' - Anna's personal practice - Anna's personal story including her relationship to her parents, siblings and partner - The pitfalls of awakening - Motherhood and parenting - Behind the curtain: The vision behind Satsang Garage

15 Feb 2024Dr. Megan Delaney - Nature is Nurture: Therapy in Collaboration with the Natural World01:20:01

"We don't use the natural world, we have a reciprocal relationship with it."

Hey everybody, this week we're speaking about a combination of two of my favourite topics: Nature and Therapy. I'm speaking with Dr. Megan Delaney. Megan holds a PhD in Counselor Education from Montclair State University (MSU) and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Monmouth University (MU) in Long Branch, New Jersey. Her research explores the influence of natural world on our mental health and the use of Ecotherapy in clinical practice and the counselor education classroom. Trained in outdoor leadership through the National Outdoor Leadership School, Megan spent several years as a wilderness instructor for organizations including the National Wildlife Federation and Outward Bound. Today she infuses Ecotherapy in her counseling classroom as well as her private practice. This was a wonderful deep dive into the world of Ecotherapy, and how nature can act as a co-facilitator in healing processes. I'm excited to hear how this one lands with you and as always am grateful that you're here!

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The connection between the natural world, mental health and well-being - Immersive experiences in nature as a modality to reset our senses - Eco-therapy as a facilitatir for connection to nature and developing an ecological identity - Movement and bilateral stimulation in nature therapy can enhance the therapeutic process - Empirically studying ecotherapy poses challenges, but there is potential for developing a cognitive behavioral ecotherapy model - Megan's journey to Kenya as a transformative experience - The effects of teaching and witnessing the work of students and clients - Kindness, compassion, and active listening are essential qualities needed in the world, while materialism should be reduced

16 Feb 2023Richard Lang - Find Out Who You Really Are01:35:11

"The Headless Way opens up a radically new way of living."

Ever asked yourself: Who am I? Get ready and investigate this question with me in this episode. I still can't fully wrap my head around the fact that I spoke with Richard Lang from The Headless Way (spot the wordplay lol). I discovered Richard's work and the theory of The Headless Way on the infamous Waking Up App. In short, The Headless Way offers you a practical, user-friendly way to see Who you really are. The method was developed by philosopher Douglas Harding, and since his passing in 2007, Richard has dedicated his life to sharing the power and message of The Headless Way. I'm surely not exaggerating when I say that this technique has transformed my life and the lives of countless others from the moment we heard about it and started experimenting with it. It's simple yet incredibly profound. The theory includes a variety of "experiments" that you can try in your everyday life to reconnect with your true nature. No believing. No mysticism. Just looking. It might sound crazy, but as Richard always says, "Try it out for yourself!"

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as:

  • Backstory and origin of the Headless Way
  • Richard's journey and his relationship to Douglas Harding
  • Connection between the Headless Way and spirituality
  • Emotions and the headless way
  • The four stages of awakening to yourself
  • Benefits of knowing your True Self
  • The importance of community
  • How to handle the current heavy state of the world

14 Dec 2023Maxi Bartel - I Took a Walk with My Spiritual Teacher Michael Singer: What I've Learned (Solo Episode)01:13:18

"How do I find the Self? You cease to leave."

Hey everyone, I'm beyond honored and grateful to share today's episode with you. It's still surreal to say it out loud or write it out, but I took a walk with my spiritual teacher, mentor, and author of 'The Untethered Soul,' 'The Surrender Experiment,' and 'Living Untethered' - Michael Singer. As part of my recent trip to the United States, I made a promise to myself to visit the grounds of the Temple of The Universe and hopefully meet Mickey in person. As the universe would have it, I not only got to meet him but also took a one-on-one walk with him to discuss all the questions that have been on my mind and heart for so many years since I came in touch with Mickey's work. This episode is dedicated to my time there but, moreover, to all the beautiful people I've met at the temple, including Michael and his 'extended family' at the temple as well as the visitors. I'm deeply moved and eternally grateful for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

In this episode, I'll share with you my experience on-site and walk you through my time with Michael. I'll share my biggest takeaways and some of the answers that Michael gave me in response to my questions.

04 Apr 2024ThaiHa Sloan - The Kingdom is Within You: From Eating Disorder to Falling in Love with Yourself and the Universe01:05:17

"The thing that changed everything was choosing to do something different in this moment of awareness."

Grand rising, soul family. Today, I bring you a beautiful little episode with ThaiHa Sloan. ThaiHa works as a somatic healing mentor, breathwork facilitator, and relationship coach, and recently gained prominence on the internet with her content around conscious communication and self-regulated behavior in relationships. Besides finding great value in her shares on social media, I became curious about the human behind this wisdom. So, I reached out. It turns out, ThaiHa struggled with severe eating disorders and body dysmorphia that led her onto the path of healing and recovery. I'm immensely grateful for the opportunity to speak with ThaiHa, not only about the things that she's teaching but also about her personal learnings and struggles. I found it beautiful to find a fellow spiritual seeker within ThaiHa, someone who investigates the human experience from a very curious, sincere, and deep place. That being said, enjoy this conversation between two souls who have come together with open hearts to share what's alive in this very moment. I'm honored to serve you in this way with these conversations.

Soul family, I'm so excited and happy to announce and reintroduce today's guest of the podcast. I'm speaking with Alison Armstrong once again. For the second time, Alison has come on to share her light and wisdom around the magic of relationships and love with us, and I couldn't be more delighted, especially because this time around, we're speaking live and in the flesh in Alison's living room! I had some rough topics in mind and heart leading up to this conversation, but as usual with the podcast and the magic of the moment, this particular conversation went into so many other realms of spirit, afterlife, soul connections, and much more. I've learned that love truly is a verb, that we are always connected to each other beyond space and time, and what we individually can do to bring more love and harmony into this world. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to conduct these kinds of meaningful interviews and even be in the physical presence of such incredibly wise and powerful beings such as Alison. 12 Oct 2023Nicoline Walsh - Exploring the World of Energy, Reiki and Self-Healing01:39:43

"True healing comes from healing the root cause of pain." It is my honor and pleasure to welcome Nicoline Walsh on the podcast today. Nicoline is a Reiki practitioner and energy healer. She is also the loving mother of three and Luke's wife - who also has been on the show previously. During my visit at their beautiful home and in the "Healing Forest" just outside of Dublin, I sat down with Nicoline to explore the world of energy and dive deeper into what it is exactly she's doing within her work. I took a lot with me from this conversation, especially when it comes to the everlasting realization that really all of life is energy. How much healing we can receive from working with these naturally existent energies is something we explored in this conversation along many other topics. I'm so grateful for this experience and conversation. Thank you Nicoline and Luke for your love and trust. And thank you all for listening. 👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - How is energy working within us all - Exploring the world of Reiki - What is it and what does it do? - The differences, similarities and benefits of alternative AND conventional healing modalities - Self-healing capabilities of our bodies/systems - On the relationship between the "healer" and the patient 🎧 PODCAST: ▶️ Website ▶️ Spotify ▶️ Apple Podcasts ▶️ Google Podcasts ▶️ Amazon Podcasts

14 Mar 2024Maxi Bartel - My Interview at Yale University (with Q&A)01:07:23

"We're all walking each other home."

Hey everyone, and welcome to another episode of the podcast where we explore the human experience through conscious conversations! Yes, you read that correctly – we've got a new intro, everybody! You may have noticed that things got slightly quieter around the podcast over the last few weeks. So much has happened during this time, and after an intense period of relocating and moving, I'm finally back in the saddle. That being said, I'm deeply honored and grateful to share this week's very special episode with you: My interview at Yale University. After my conversation with Dr. Benjamin Doolittle, I was asked to be interviewed by him, as well as to answer some questions from fellow Yale students about my podcast. Writing all of this, it still seems very surreal. But I did it, and here it is. I was stunned and amazed by the incredible conscious community at Yale, the profound questions I was asked, and simply the opportunity to share space and time with such highly ambitious and intelligent souls.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Origin story of the podcast - Biggest learnings and takeaway from 50 episodes and conversations - My take on physician burnout and its treatment - Is the spiritual life a privileged life? - Elaborating on the difference between spirituality and religion

10 Aug 2023Dr. phil.

  • Was bedeutet eigentlich Erfolg?

Hey everyone, the last episode of 2023 is here - and it is a SPECIAL one. I'm speaking with Ian Wogan from Treesources. Ian is an arborist, entrepreneur, father, devoted husband, and environmentalist. 13 Jun 2024Garry Lineham - You're Not Sick: How to Listen to Your Body and Start Healing Yourself01:36:21

"You are not sick. You're just not listening to your body."

Grand rising beloved listeners of the podcast, I'm excited like a little boy sharing this episode with you today. I'm speaking with Garry Lineham. Garry is a cofounder of Human Garage and the pioneer behind Fascial Maneuvers. Fascial Maneuvers is a self-care movement system that improves mobility and reduces stress through the entire body. To help achieve his mission of teaching 1 billion people learn to heal themselves, he's made access to Fascial Maneuvers and the full 28-Day Rest program absolutely free. After 10 years of providing traditional and alternative treatments through his clinic in Venice Beach, CA he realized that unless people learned to heal themselves, the results were at best temporary. A former amateur bodybuilder and serial entrepreneur, Garry is no stranger to pain and stress. His quest for solutions to his own suffering is what ultimately led to the development of Fascial Maneuvers. With over 2 million new followers in 2022 alone, his message is striking a chord with people all over the world. The way this conversation came to be was paved by synchronicities and divine interventions which indicates for me the significance of this co-creation and the service it'll hopefully provide. Let me know how it lands with you. I love you all.

Hello everyone, it's so good to be back with y'all. I'm honored and moved to share today's episode with you. I'm speaking with singer, artist, and therapist Nirinjan Kaur. Chances are that if you've ever listened to any "spiritual type music," you've probably come across Nirinjan. Her work has been featured worldwide, reaching and touching millions of souls on their individual healing, spiritual, and personal journeys. In this conversation, we explore Nirinjan's personal story, who was raised in the Kundalini Yoga and Sikh community. Nirinjan shares her experience of being raised in a strongly devoted religious community. However, she later discovered the corruption and abuse within the community, leading her to question and reject the teachings. She emphasizes the importance of embracing both the light and shadow aspects of ourselves and the need to integrate our humanity. The conversation also touches on the complexity of religious practices and ideologies. Nirinjan discusses her experience of leaving the Kundalini Yoga community and the challenges she faced in rebuilding her life. She talks about the trauma, grief, and loss she experienced during this process, including the dissolution of relationships and the impact on her sense of self. Nirinjan shares how she has learned to view herself as strong and powerful, and how she is reclaiming her identity as an artist and musician. This is a very deep, honest, and raw insight behind the curtain of a life within a spiritual community, the integrity of artistry, and the reclamation of power. I'm deeply inspired by Nirinjan's life force and way of showing up in the world and am in eager anticipation of her musical future. Let me know how this one landed with you. Sending love to all.

25 Apr 2024Felix Wittmann - Embodied Mysticism: Bridging the World of Somatics and Modern Day Science with Grounded Spirituality and God02:04:47

"There's a part of me that cannot be satiated by this worldly experience."

Grand rising, soul and podcast family! I'm excited to share yet another LIVE podcast episode with you - freshly out of the oven, taped and recorded in my beautiful new home in Bavaria. I sat down with my good friend and fellow seeker, Felix Wittmann. Felix is currently birthing his business as a somatic-spiritual coach, assisting people in coming into deeper embodiment of their true selves through nervous system work, trauma integration, and restoring relationship with God. His approach is founded on a synergy of trauma-informed somatic principles and a more intuitive and mystical approach. In his 1:1 coaching sessions, he creates safe and sacred spaces for people to explore, experience, and integrate their full spectrum human experience. I am deeply inspired by Felix's commitment and devotion to God and how he seeks to understand. 04 Jan 2024Sabine Kuegler - Child of the Jungle: The Incredible True Story of Life in a Tribe and the Wisdom of Wilderness 01:53:49

Welcome, beautiful people, to a deeply enriching episode of the podcast and the first one in 2024! I couldn't imagine a better way to start the year than with this episode and my guest, Sabine Kuegler. Sabine is the author of the best-selling book 'Child of the Jungle,' which also served as a foundation for the movie 'Jungle Child' with Thomas Kretschmann and Nadja Uhl from 2011. Sabine takes us with her and her immersive experiences, living among the Fayu tribe in the jungle of West Papua, Indonesia. She shares the profound wisdom she gleaned from growing up in the jungle, as well as her return and 5-year healing journey with shamans and plant medicines, which saved her from a deadly disease. This conversation is packed with incredible anecdotes, little stories, and indigenous wisdom, making me very excited to share it with all of you. I feel honored and deeply grateful to have had the chance to interview Sabine and, hopefully, expose some new parts of her amazing story in this conversation.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Seeking life balance and contentment in the present moment - How to embrace diverse cultures, adapt, and value relationships without imposing beliefs - Life's purpose is leaving a positive impact and ensuring human continuity - Motherhood - Sabine's biggest takeaways from her childhood in the jungle - Why and how cultural misunderstandings arise from diverse perspectives - Finding comfort and purpose in God, respecting others' beliefs - Cultivate sincerity, avoid judgment, especially in front of children - Open discussions about death - What happens after we die? - Thoughts about growing older and maturing as a human being

Hello beautiful souls and welcome to another very special, deep, raw, and powerful conversation. Today, I had the pleasure of talking to Kirk Baltz, an American actor, writer, and coach. 25 Jan 2024Shems Heartwell - The Medicine of Relationships: Chemistry vs. Alchemy, Cultivating True Intimacy and Co-Regulation in Partnership01:56:11

"If it's not love, what is it then?"

Grand rising, soul family. Today, we're exploring a favorite topic of the podcast community, as well as a personal favorite: Relationships! That being said, I couldn't be happier to have had the chance to speak with an absolute expert on the topic, Shems Heartwell. Shems has been honing and sharing his craft for 20 years. He has mentored with some of the most influential teachers in the fields of coaching, healing, relationship, and transformation. He is a licensed acupuncturist, certified coach, relationship guide, and Qigong teacher. What I found so fascinating about Shems is how he blends his experience and knowledge into a unique way of coaching and mentoring that is on the leading edge of the human potential movement. Shems is also a passionate athlete, gardener, and musician, living with his beloved wife, Achintya, on the beautiful island of Maui. Him and I initially connected at Sacred Sons Convergence 8, and it was clear from the get-go that I had to have him on the show to share his light with you. There's SO MUCH wisdom and valuable input in this episode around the topics of relationships, intimacy, sexuality, alchemy, co-regulation, shadow work, and much more. Also, I'm certain that no matter what kind of energy (masculine or feminine) you're dominantly identifying with or what relationship status you're in, you'll get something out of this one!

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The importance of curiosity and openness for personal growth and exploring alternative ways of being - How relationships offer opportunities for evolution and growth, both individually and as a couple - The key role of authenticity and vulnerability in creating deep and meaningful connections within relationships - Intimacy beyond sexuality: The difference is profound - The work in relationships lies in the nuances and requires the radical openness of both parties - The idea of choosing alchemy over chemistry in relationships, emphasizing a deeper connection - The flip side of open relationships

"I am."

My loves, hey. How are you feeling today? I know it has been a very long time since I came on here and shared anything. The last few weeks have been intense on many levels, and I'm still in the weeds. I'm currently reevaluating my relationship with myself, the work that I'm offering, the things that I'm sharing, and the intention behind all of these things. Why am I doing anything? And what role does my EGO play in all of it? Having said that, this transmission came through after some weeks of inner contemplation and retrieval. I feel good about the fullness from which these words stem. However, the ways of the ego are subtle and sneaky, and I'll continue to hold this little MF close. Thanks for sticking around, for supporting, listening, reading, and interacting with me and my sharings. It means a lot.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Death to the ego - My relationship to God - Shadow work: allow, accept, embrace - The way to heaven is down - Zoom in and obsess or zoom out and observe - The crying of men

"You have responsibility for your kindgom. And for that you need to be able to say no and set a boundary."

It is my pleasure to once again welcome the amazing Helge Hellberg to the podcast, this time in English, as the show has grown into an international sensation, and we both wanted to reach as many of you beautiful people out there! Helge is an internationally acclaimed executive coach, lay-ordained Buddhist teacher, musician, and artist. Let me share a bit about Helge's background for those who may not be familiar with him. Helge Hellberg is renowned for his expertise as an executive coach, guiding and empowering individuals from various walks of life. His spiritual journey and passion for personal development have also led him to become a lay-ordained Buddhist teacher. On top of that, he is a multi-talented individual with a deep love for music and art, adding a unique touch to his teachings and approach. Earlier this year, I attended one of Helge's workshops, and I must say, the impact it had on me is still ever present. This experience served as a perfect starting point for our conversation today. During our discussion, we delved into the fascinating topic of archetypes. As I have mentioned on numerous occasions, Helge's work effortlessly combines teachings from various schools, traditions, and lineages, all culminating in his profound exploration of archetypes. I was keen to learn how Helge became acquainted with archetypes, why they hold such power, and what insights we can draw from them to enrich our everyday lives. This episode is a beautiful exchange between two men who are both on their individual journeys, striving to become the best versions of themselves. Once again, I was reminded of the immense privilege I have in sharing time and space with someone as insightful and inspiring as Helge.

09 May 2024Chrissie Fire Mane - Sacred Activism: The Mana Movement and Shifting From Rage to Renewal02:00:43

"What has gone wrong on a major scale that human beings aren't relishing life?"

Brothers & sisters, are you ready for that FIRE energy?! Today I'm speaking with Chrissie Fire Mane. Co-Founder of MANA, Chrissie has always been guided by the excitement of empowering people to be creators. Named 'chaqaruna' or Bridge-Person by the Q'ero, Wisdom Keepers of the Andes, Chrissie's north star is activating and rewilding humanity with modern and indigenous wisdom, reminding people of what is already inside but forgotten or suppressed. Chrissie has been facilitating transformational weekends, workshops and retreats around the world intensively since 2012, moving online also in 2017. The journey of motherhood has greatly shaped Chrissie's path, raising her two wild children travelling the world and sitting in sacred ceremonies, learning from elders. She has roots in activism, beginning at Greenpeace in the Press Office in the UK in 2000, combining her passions for communications with service, has launched numerous campaigns in frontline activism mainly in water conservation and more recently served on the New Earth Council as part of the Humanitad Foundation. As an artist, Chrissie was signed to Virgin Records, has toured and created albums and continues to use her love of poetry, singing and frequency to complement her style of leadership. Her spiritual path led her to the Peruvian Andes in 2012 where she was initiated as Chullu Chaqera, or Sweat Lodge Mama Qona in 2017. Simply, Chrissie draws from conscious motherhood and indigenous tradition to inspire her community back to the natural truth of things. I'm in awe of the polarity of Chrissie's being, the open-heartedness AND stability, power and discernment that she brings into the world. Let me know how this co-creation lands with you. I love that you're here.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Honoring your intuition and setting boundaries - Embracing creativity and independence - Balancing joy and discernment - Activism from a place of joy and love - Addressing suppressed emotions - Creating change from a place of joy and love instead of rage and anger - The frequency of certainty and power - The role of community and gathering spaces - Finding joy and passion in life - Motherhood - Embracing new opportunities and Chrissie's move to America

02 May 2024Robert W. Dean - The Life of an Outlaw: How a Glimpse into Eternity Changed Everything02:03:28

"I remembered home."

Aloha, beautiful podcast family! What a gift it is to share yet another inspiring, deep, and thoughtful conversation with you. Week after week, I still have to pinch myself that I get to do this. Today, I'm speaking with Robert W. Dean. Robert is a writer and filmmaker whose work is profoundly inspired by the breathtaking landscapes of New Mexico. With nature as his most profound teacher, Robert is on a mission to weave themes of unity and love into every story and project he undertakes. His diverse body of work highlights the urgent need for a radical shift toward recognizing our inherent connections across the globe. Driven by a firm belief in the power of community and collaboration, his endeavors seek to catalyze deeper global interconnectivity. Through his multifaceted career, Robert advocates for a world where humanity thrives in harmony, dedicated to forging a more harmonious future where every individual and ecosystem can flourish. I stumbled across Robert's work many moons ago and was mesmerized by his capture of the American West. My gravitation towards him shifted from being inspired by "the external" to Robert's sincere introspective journey towards self-realization. My intuition whispered into my ears that now would be a good time to reconnect with him after all these years, and I couldn't be more grateful for the fact that I did. Listen for yourself and let me know how this co-creation resonates with you.

Michaela is a certified Yoga and Meditation teacher. 24 Aug 2023Deep Kumar - Yoga as a Way of Life and Sacred Practice for Healing and Self-Discovery01:14:38

"Yoga to me is a combination of science and art which guides us towards the right way of living."

Namaste, friends. Today, we're exploring one of my all-time favorite subjects and one of the biggest influences on my personal spiritual growth and expansion: Yoga. That being said, I was on the lookout for a suitable guest to address the topic of Yoga in an adequate way, and I'm so happy to say that I've found the perfect match. My guest today is Deep Kumar. Deep was born in India and began his journey into Yoga in 1994. He followed the path of traditional Yogis and the art and science of Yoga by learning at the Tapovan Dhyan Dham Vidhyapeeth, a classical Yoga ashram located at the foothills of the Himalayas. Thereafter, he pursued the advanced Yoga teacher training course at the world-renowned Kaivalyadhama Yoga Institute. He is trained in various styles such as Ashtanga, Hatha, Yin, and Meditation. He is also specialized in Yogic breathing (Pranayama) and other aspects of Yoga, all for the purpose of health and rejuvenation. To me, Deep is a true embodied Yogi – someone who not only has an unbelievably deep understanding of Yogic philosophy and theory but also is highly skilled in the fields of anatomy, physiotherapy, and Western science. In his work as a teacher, he effortlessly combines the ancient traditional Yogic teachings with 21st-century Western approaches to healing and holistic health. All of that is part of Deep's very own Yoga school called "Yoga New Vision".

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Deep dive into the 5 paths of yoga - On the interconnectedness of yoga paths - Who are you? Remembering the Self - Real Self versus false Self - The origin of true happiness or suffering - Working with inner blockages: Samskaras - Deep's new vision for Yoga

"The planet is one living organism."

Soul family, we're back with a mind- and heart-blowing episode today. I'm speaking with British-Venezuelan scientist, author, and ecologist, Dr. Stephan Harding from Schumacher College in Dartington Trust. Stephan was born in Venezuela in 1953 and came to England at the age of six. Since childhood, he has had a deep fascination with the natural world, and his scientific mindset led him to pursue a degree in Zoology at the University of Durham, followed by a doctorate on the behavioral ecology of the muntjac deer at Oxford University. There are very few people alive today who have comparable insights into the fields of deep ecology, Gaia, and the spirituality of nature, which made this a truly special conversation. I'm humbled and deeply grateful to have shared space with Stephan and to have him share very personal lessons, insights, theories, and experiences of his own interactions with nature, spirit, and everything beyond. I know that as a species, we're facing a lot of challenges right now, and that's why I believe this episode is even more valuable and important to share. There's hope—the answers lie within each one of us.

Ben is also an ordained minister, holding an MDIV from Yale Divinity School, and he serves a local urban congregation. My intention with this conversation was to shed light on the topic of healing from a more scientific angle. I am genuinely curious to discover what prominent figures in the scientific community, such as those at Yale and Stanford, have to say about the benefits of a spiritual life, belief in something larger than ourselves, and other insights into human wellbeing, happiness, and fulfillment. Additionally, I am grateful to share that Ben has invited me to speak at Yale in March next year, which is something I am still wrapping my head around. Grateful for this life and for all of you. Thank you!

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The signficance and power of prayer - Renaissance Journal and Conversations - The struggles of modern day physicians and Western medicine - The importance of the relationship between the medicine and the patient - Scientific spirituality - Pros and cons of organized religion - Why and how faith can contribute to a rich life - How to combine ancient wisdom with modern science

16 Nov 2023Vince 'Matoska' Chafin - Healthy Masculinity, Sacred Sons and the Quest of 'Doing the Right Thing'02:47:07

"Men do the right thing because it is the right thing to do. Regardless."

As a German saying goes, 'All good things come in three,' and this episode marks the trilogy of what has been an epic journey of self-discovery, confrontation, and masculine alchemy. It signifies the third encounter with our most frequently invited guest on the show, the one and only Vince 'Matoska' Chafin. After Vince's and my initial conversation on the podcast, my personal journey into manhood began. Like an overflowing river slowly flooding every little chamber of my heart and spirit ever since, I have undergone profound changes - especially when it comes to my masculinity. Without Vince, I wouldn't have embarked on my most recent self-initiated rites-of-passage trip, let alone experienced all the internal processes, encountered people, explored places, and faced circumstances that have entered my life since getting to know him. I am beyond honored to now call Vince a friend, a fellow brother on this path of healing and transformation. As always, we covered a wide range of topics. Having both recently participated in Sacred Sons Convergence 8 before this conversation, we took some time to reflect on the powerful work that is being done in these containers.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - A personal reflection on Sacred Sons Convergence 8 - Hopes, expectations, fears of doing "Men's Work" - How to establish functioning communication within a relationship with the feminine - What does healthy masculinity actually look like? - Why we need men in our world more than ever - Discussing the idea behind "pouring from an empty cup" - The role of men in our society and why we need to do 'the right thing' - The difference between the masculine and the feminine

02 Feb 2023Anna Brown - You Are God00:52:33

"I am you and you are me and my love, we are free."

Today I am speaking with Anna Brown. I first stumbled across Anna's work a couple of years ago on YouTube when I was recommended one of her videos on non-duality/Advaita Vedanta. From the first moment, I was struck by her presence. Her eye contact. Her words. Her energy. To this day, I honestly haven't had this kind of "connection" with anyone I've only seen on a screen. Anna carries such profound and deep wisdom around life, reality, spirituality, love, and connection within her that I had to have her on the show. Besides wanting to delve into Anna's deep understanding of non-duality, my intention for this conversation was also to get to know the person behind it, as well as get practical advice. How does one's life change when realizing that everything is one?

👉  We explored a broad variety of topics such as:

  • Anna's personal journey and first moment of conscious awareness of being
  • There's no evolution to self
  • The realisation of non-duality/oneness and its affect on parenting
  • Anna's relationship to religion
  • The true message of religion and Jesus
  • On the feeling of BEING one
  • What's up with the garden of Eden?
  • Animals and what we can learn from them
  • Anna's advice to seekers

19 Jan 2023Joel Pimm - Seeking Self01:43:06

"Self-love is essential for being able to receive love from others."

Today I'm chatting with Joel Pimm, a long-time meditation practitioner who's interested in how meditation and the study of consciousness can impact how we connect to nature, to each other, and to the world around us. But beyond that, Joel is an amazing person. After reaching out to me on Instagram out of the blue a couple of weeks ago with such a sincere and heartfelt message, it became clear to me that I needed to have him on the show. Our conversation was a very vulnerable and open discussion between two men who are both working to become the best versions of themselves. I hold this conversation close to my heart and appreciate Joel's deep understanding of meditation and spirituality.

👉  We explored a broad variety of topics such as:

  • Debunking common misconceptions about spirituality and meditation
  • Examining the big question: "Who am I?"
  • Understanding what it means to be "seeking the self"
  • Different types of meditation and their benefits
  • The importance of self-love
  • How to fill your own cup and why it's crucial
  • How to best serve others
  • Building a healthy and sustainable relationship with our masculinity as men

13 Jul 2023Alison Armstrong - Unveiling the Mystery of Relationships with Integrity and How To Finally Understand Men & Women01:18:44

"Love is not scarce. Love is the easy part."

It is with profound reverence and the utmost respect and admiration for her work and shared wisdom that I present today's episode with the one and only Alison Armstrong. After Vince recommended Alison's work on the podcast, I conducted my own research and arrived at the same conclusion as he did when he said, "There's nobody on the planet who understands men and women better than she does." Alison's renowned work has been published worldwide, and she is a best-selling author of various books on intimacy, relationships, love, men and women, and polarity, including her notable work, "The Queen's Code." After conversing with Alison, the respect I hold for her wisdom has only grown stronger. It is truly captivating to witness her effortlessly flowing, the same flow or channeling that inspires her when she writes her books. We delved deep into how she came to write about these profound truths and insights regarding men and women, exploring the unique relationship she shared with her late husband, Greg, who passed away four years ago. We also discussed the importance of loving boundaries and maintaining a strong sense of self-love and self-respect as the foundation for intimate relationships. These topics resonate with me on multiple levels, making this episode one of my favorites. I am humbled to have had the opportunity to speak with Alison, and I am thrilled to announce that this will not be the last time we hear from her. We are already working on a follow-up episode, so stay tuned. From the depths of my heart, I send infinite love to all of you.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Behind the process of Alison's work as an author - The real scarcity of relationships and intimacy - Fundamental differences between men and women - Alison's marriage and relationship to her second husband Greg - The importance of non-negotiables in relationships - Living with integrity within a relationship - The danger of chemistry

"Jeder Mensch ist wie eine Blume."

Heute spreche ich mit Dagmar Wähmer. Dagmar ist Schauspielerin, Regisseurin, Autorin, Coach für Selbstentwicklung und ausgebildete Theta Healing Practicionerin und Familienaufstellerin. 08 Feb 2024Anton Mackey - Yoga Reimagined: Finding Stability through Fluidity in Life and in the Body01:11:19

"I exist, therefore I matter."

Soul family, welcome to another episode of the podcast. Today, we have the pleasure of hosting Anton, a Yoga teacher, mens work facilitator, mindset coach, devoted husband, father, and son. Anton's ability to guide people through movement is something I experienced firsthand and was struck by from the get-go. I was deeply impressed by the ease and depth of Anton's knowledge and experience in the fields of Yoga, movement, flexibility, strength, and so much more. In this conversation, Anton and I explore the world of Yoga from his very own and unique perspective. We dive into the alternative (and maybe a little more critical) way of looking at the ever-so-famous Yoga tradition, talk about the concept of stability vs. fluidity in life and in our body, the comfort crisis, purpose, and much more. I really enjoyed speaking with Anton and his strong energy and presence. I admire his firm stance in life and how straight-forward and to the point he is. And so, I'm even more excited about what you'll take away from this conversation.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Yoga is not just a physical practice but a tool for healing, transformation, and self-discovery - Finding harmony between stability and fluidity as an essential for a balanced yoga practice - Embracing discomfort as a necessity for personal growth and development - Masculinity in Yoga - The impact of comfort and convenience and its effects on our ability to face challenges and grow - Feeling safe and significant plays a crucial role in our actions and decisions - The presence and stability of influential people can guide us on our path

"There is a cosmic symphony with the most beautiful instruments ever playing upon us."

Beautiful people, today I bring you a conversation with an absolute powerhouse of a woman: Sophie Burns. In her own words, Sophie is a love coach specializing in liberation and empowerment through self-love, sexuality, and spirit. I first discovered Sophie through a viral TikTok in which she told the story of an adventurous trip to Europe, which led her to fully surrender and let the flow of life take over. 02 Nov 2023Alec Solimeo - An Honest Conversation about Life, Love, Prayer and Everything in Between00:57:51

"Home, I am home. The place that feeds my soul. It is right here. We are right here. Under the mountains and the sun. Rivers so clear. Rivers so clear." Today I'm sharing a different kind of episode with you all. This conversation was recorded within an hour of meeting each other and therefore holds a special place in my heart. It is dedicated to the time I spent on the vast land that is Boulder, CO and its beautiful mountains. Today I'm speaking with Alec 'Lautauro' Solimeo. Alec is a lifetime student and teacher of the art of fathering, grief and praise, the awakening of an indigenous soul together with the quieting of the imperial mind, earth stewardship and masculine alchemy. The pandemic and post-pandemic era has asked Alec to step further forward with his healing modalities that have been his life-studies. Working with hundreds of men a year in group facilitation capacities, Alec is now turning towards and tuning into the opportunity of delivering a more potent container for individual men and women looking to further their integration on their healing path.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The meaning of "home" - Fatherhood - Alec's involvement within Sacred Sons - On alchemizing pain and grief and turning it into love and healing - Where do we come from / where do we go? - Grief, dance, prayer and everything in between

30 Nov 2023Hunter Toran - Healing the Body: Somatic Mysticism, Poetry and the Philosophy of Life and Death01:51:40

"The body is the battleground."

Soul family, we're gathering today for another special episode. We're joined by a man who impacted me and my life profoundly during my time in the United States, more specifically at Sacred Sons Convergence 8. Today I'm speaking with Hunter Toran. Hunter was the tribe lead of the 'Hawthorne Clan' in which I was a part. The way he led and facilitated this experience for me and all other men was nothing short of deeply moving and profoundly impactful on various levels—emotionally, spiritually, physically. Hunter is a registered ISMETA movement educator and therapist, a Level II Spatial Dynamics Practitioner, and Practitioner of Biomechanics. With over 10 thousand clinical and teaching hours, and a lifetime of somatic exploration, Hunter shapes unique programs to assist individuals in overcoming pain and expressing their best selves in their personal and professional lives. In my opinion, he is a poet—someone who understands the subtle realms of life like very few. He is able to read souls and the land that surrounds him in a highly sensitive way, and I've learned so much from him. Hunter lives with his wife and three children in Seattle, Washington.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - The journey and chapters of Hunter's life - Finding mission and purpose as a young man - The personal methamorphosis of Hunter through the work with men and Sacred Sons - Embodiement: How to find freedom with responsibility through our bodies? - Spatial Dynamics & somatic therapy - Are we out of balance or out of rhythm? - Hunter's relationship to the medicine that is Hawthorne

11 Jan 2024Mark William Logan - An Honest Life: How to Shamelessly Be Yourself and Embrace the Darkness Within01:31:40

Grand rising, soul family, and welcome to another episode of the podcast. Today, with a guest that I've wanted to have on ever since starting this project and even before. In his own words, Mark is somebody who has 'allowed himself to die many times' and whose way of being and gifts are manifesting in a variety of forms and mediums: music, art, film, photography, the written word, poetry, rap, as well as space holding and facilitating. In my personal view, Mark is a true creative, a powerhouse who unapologetically offers his gifts, opinions, feelings, and fears to the world - fully aware of the potential pitfalls, blowbacks, obstacles, and mistakes that occur in the process. I admire Mark's strength and vulnerability, and throughout all these years of following him, I've always seen myself or large parts of myself within him. Enjoy this beautiful and rich episode and let me know what it did for you. I love you.

👉 We explored a broad variety of topics such as: - Love and compassion as an essential part of our interaction with the world - The discrepancy between intention and impact - Living by values such as integrity, fairness, and curiosity - Reflecting on life and death can help us appreciate the preciousness of each moment and find meaning in our experiences - Remembering loved ones who have passed can inspire us to live courageously and make the most of our time - Acknowledging and appreciating the courage and impact of others can create a sense of connection and support - Marks's relationship to Fiona Cribben - Finding pride in personal growth, no matter how small

22 Dec 2023Peter Eugène Bennett - Dancing with the Shadow: Inner Child Work and the Path of Masculine Alchemy01:32:24

"The image is already there. I'm just chipping away at what it's not."

Soul family, two days before gathering under the Christmas tree, I share with you a powerful conversation I had with a fellow brother and leading facilitator of Sacred Sons. Today, I'm speaking with men's work coach, Peter Eugène Bennett. Peter is a men's coach who also works with the Sons of Zion and the Sacred Sons. He has trained in Vipassana Meditation, Wim Hof, Nutritional Therapy, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Qigong, Tantra, and is currently training as a mentor & coach. His work now is focused on helping men reach their potential, creating healthy community spaces of brotherhood so they can be of service to the world and each other. I discovered Peter in a podcast interview he did with Danny Morel and was amazed by his free-flow sharings from the heart around his own shadow, inner child healing, celibacy, and much more. After meeting in person at Convergence 8 in Los Angeles, I decided to have him on the show and am grateful that I did. I personally share a lot of my journey in this episode and had the chance to receive immensely valuable insights from Peter. That being said, I sincerely hope and wish for you to enjoy this episode and gain a ton of value from it. Merry Christmas to you all. May you move well and spend meaningful time with your families during the holidays. Much love!
