This week we had to do a short game, and boy is this one short and sweet. Donut County by: Ben Esposito. Donut County is a puzzle game where you play a hole that is trying to grow by consuming things in the environment. It doesn't matter if it's grass, trees, animals, or people. Keep eating things and grow larger, which is also a very true statement for me and food.

This week a listener recommended Celeste by; Matt Makes Games. Can you climb the mystical mountain of Celeste in this brutally difficult 2D platformer. Challenge your skills as you collect strawberries which is a missed opportunity to collect frozen pizzas. Can you guess which host needed assistance climbing?(hint it wasn't Keith or Andrew)

This week we discussed Keith's pick, Wandersong By; Greg Lobanov, Dumb and Fat Games. Can you save the universe with the power of song? Probably.

This week Keith wanted to play a rougelike so he picked Tainted Grail: Conquest by; Awaken Realms Digital. Tainted Grail is a deck building roguelike RPG. You are a character who has woken up on a mysterious island that is covered by a fog called the wyrdness. You are tasked to help the citizens find their way out of the fog and return back to the village. If you play like Liz its more like exploring molasses then it is fog

This week we played the much requested Subnautica: Below Zero by; Unknown Worlds Entertainment. SBZ takes place after the first where you are playing a young girl trying to uncover what has happened to your sister who is working on the alien planet. Explore the frozen lands and battle the climate or dive underwater and face the mysterious creatures. Collect resources and blueprints to build your self a base, or be like Keith and stumble around aimlessly. Usually Liz is the unobservant one.

This week we decided to check out the survival horror game Signalis by; Rose-Engine. Signalis is a old school style survival horror game that gets a lot of its inspirations from Resident Evil and Silent Hill. You play a replicant who has lost its memory, but you know you need to find the girl in a photo. Travel deeper and deeper in this mining facility on a distant planet and uncover the horrors that are buried underneath.

This week Keith picked ANOTHER roguelike. This week it is Into The Pit by; Nullpointer Games. Into the Pit is a first person shooter roguelike where you take control of a arcane hunter in search of their lost cousin. Dive into the pit and free the villages to grow your strength. Will this game make you want to go deeper or is it just the pits?

This week we played Homestead Arcana by: Serenity Forge. Homestead Arcana is a third person farming sim where you play a young witch who is tasked with trying to fight back an evil fog with farming. Grow various crops and brew spells to take with you as you explore the evil miasma for more treasure. You play as a member of a special courier group know as the runners. You deliver sensitive packages through out the city via rooftops and alley ways with your parkour skills, but when your sister is framed for murder you have to solve the crime before it's too late.

The wait is over. We discussed Psychonauts 2 by; Double Fine studios. Continue the story of Razputin a young psychonaut agent who tries to uncover the mystery behind the psychic 6. Explore diverse worlds in this 3rd person action platformer. Is it possible to love a game too much? Because we may of crossed the line.

This week Keith picked Roboquest by: Ryseup Studios. Roboquest is a first person shooter bullet hell roguelike, where you play a robot who is on a quest. Who would of thought? Your quest is to try to free up a city taken over by evil robots. You shoot, you jump, and you kill a who lot of robots. The game may be basic but it just may surprise you.

This week Keith picked Monster Sanctuary By; Moi Rai Games. Travel across the land searching far and wide in this 2D platformer/ turn based RPG. Each monster will help you understand the power that resides inside. That should be enough to avoid copyrights. 

Keith wanted to change things up and not play a platformer so he pick Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville by; Pop Cap studios. In this third person hero shooter you take the role of either a plant or zombie. Which I believe is how the game gets its name. Play the campaign with some friends or solo if you're like me and don't like people. You can also play the hectic 24 player PVP.

This week we played the listener requested Cassette Beasts by; Bytten studios. Cassette Beast is a turn based creature capture RPG, where you play a character created person who washes up on a mysterious world. You are rescued by a stranger who gives you the ability to form of a cassette beast. Battle your way across the land as you find a way home.

This week Keith picked Bleeding edge By; Ninja Theory. Team up in this third person objective based hero shooter.

This week we played Unravel by; Coldwood Interactive. Unravel is a 2D puzzle platformer, where you play Yarny, an adorable little creature made of yarn. Travel through past memories of a family as you piece together their history. Everything about this game sounds perfect  for Keith....too bad he was on vacation and missed it.

So Keith decided to pick another roguelike, which surprises no one. This week we played Anvil by; Action Square. Anvil is a top down twin stick shooter, where you are controlling mechanized suits called Vault Breaker. Go on expeditions on alien planets in search of the vaults which hold advance technologies. Earn currency threw the battle pass to unlock new version of Vault Breaker. Join the fight with 3 other friends with online coop, or ask Keith because I am sure he will love to play more.

This week we played Atomicrops by; Bird Bath Games. Atomicrops is a twin stick bullet hell roguelite with a twist. In this game you aren't trying to see how far you can get in a dungeon but how long you can keep your farm going. Plant strange vegetables to earn currency, and try to survive each season, which is the same advice I give myself about Keith.

In this episode, Andrew and Keith discuss the games Steam World Dig and Steam World Dig 2. They talk about the gameplay, story, and overall experience of both games. This week we played the listener requested Titanfall 2 by; Respawn Studios. Titanfall 2 is a first person shooter with parkour elements. Take control of Jack Cooper, a new pilot who inherited a Titan named BT. Take the fight to the IMC as you try to make your way make to the Militia to deliver a message. Titanfall 2 is also a prequel to the popular battle royale, Apex Legends.

This week we did the listener requested Mass Effect from Bioware. Mass Effect is a 3rd person action RPG. Become the first human specter as you try to unravel the mystery behind the attacks of human colonies. Will you try to be paragon for the universe or get the job done no matter what as a renegade? Is this a story Keith actually listen to or did he just skip dialog like usual? Sorry it took Keith half the episode to realize his mic wasn't on.

This week we discuss As Dusk Falls by; Interior/Night. As Dusk Falls us a narrative adventure game where you follow a family over 30 years as they cope with the events at Two Rock Arizona. Can you lead you character's to safety or will they perish from your foolish mistakes? The first half of the episode is our spoiler free review of the game and the second half is a spoiler fill discuss. Things get a little heated.

This week we are joined by a special guest as we cover Ace Attorney trilogy by: Capcom. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney is visual novel style game where you play an attorney in an alternate reality where you essentially play as both an attorney and a detective. You need to uncover clues and questions witness in order to defend your client. Engage in epic courtroom battles as you try to present your case. This week a listener requested we play Guardians Of The Galaxy by; Eidos Montreal. Halo 2 continues the story of Master Chief after he returns home, but it is also the story of the inner turmoil of the covenant. Is the story interesting enough to grab Keith, or will he be skipping the new gorgeous cut scenes.

This week Liz chose Moonglow Bay by; BunnyHug. Take control of an fisherman who has lost a loved one at sea and lost the will to fish, but when the town of Moonglow Bay has a chance of revival you decide to pick up your fishing rod and save the town. In this first person puzzle game you play Nora who is trying to uncover the mystery behind her illness and her husbands crew. Enjoy your stroll through this jungle as you slowly walk and possibly run even slower. Did the sea call all of us or did some of us block the call like an ex?

This week Andrew picked West of Dead, by; Upstream Arcade. Survive purgatory in this western style roguelike featuring Ron Pearlman. Can Ron's sultry voice carry this game, or will it be stuck in purgatory. Lets be honest if Terry Crews couldn't do it for Crackdown it's doubtful Ron Pearlman can do it for this.

This week we played Remnant 2 by Gunfire Games. Remnant 2 is a third person action RPG with soul like elements. Take a control of a character who is trying to uncover the mystery of the world stone. Pick a class and travel to different worlds in hopes to finish off the evil root once and for all. Play solo or team up with 2 friends to help take down some of the best boss fights.

This week we go back to a simpler times of platformers with Psychonauts by: Double Fine studios. Play as Raz a young cadent who is trying to become a psychonaut. Will this be a platformer dream for Keith or just another game he doesn't listen to the story?

Surprisingly Keith picked another platformer. The Touryst By: Shin'en Multimedia. Enjoy your vacation as a tourist. Explore different islands as you uncover the history of them. Enjoy various mini games as you destroy parts of the islands like a typical tourist. 

This week the gang played Bugsnax by; Young Horses. Bugsnax is a first person bug catching adventure game. You play a journalist who is following the great explorer Lizbert, to a mysterious island where creatures are literal walking food. Uncover the mystery behind the island while helping out the completely helpless villagers. Seriously how did the villagers ever eat?
