09 Dec 2020 | Orgasms and the Stigma of Male Sex Toys Feat. Zachary Zane, Cam Fraser, Tobias Zegenhagen | 00:30:07
Since we started Future of Sex podcast we’ve seen so many developments in the world of sextech. We’ve seen advances in robotics and sex dolls, apps for mindfulness, education tools providing the sex education we’ve always deserved, not to mention more and more vulva owning celebrities getting behind companies and products in the space. But what about sextech for men and penis owners? Whilst sextech for women and vulva owners has advanced we’re still seeing a stigma around men and penis owners with sextech. Today, we’re excited to cover We-Vibe’s release of the Arcwave ION, a new class of toy for men which claims to mimic a clitoral orgasm. We interview CTO of We-Vibe Tobias Zegenhagen who takes us through the development of how they came up with it, Tom who has what some would think the best job in the world - a sex toy tester for We-Vibe. Tom chats about the new sensations and what his job entails. We also talk with two leading sexperts, writer Zachary Zane and sex coach Cam Fraser. Both share perspectives on the stigma around male sex toys, what an orgasm feels like and what they feel the future will hold for male sextech. Guests

13 Oct 2016 | Welcome to the Future of Sex | 00:06:03
There was a time when the best way to understand your sexuality — if you tried to understand it at all — was to turn to magazines and cookie-cutter advice columns. But as technology has transformed the way we relate to each other, it's also changed the way we fall in love and even the way we have sex. Our digital and off-line lives have become so intermingled that everything we do, including each other, has been affected. Everyone is unique in their desires and sexuality, and the only way to truly own your sexuality is to explore the connections between sex, technology and the rest of your life. On Future of Sex, tech strategist and sex researcher Bryony Cole, will create a safe place to help you understand your own unique sexuality, desires and how to create a fun, shame-free, tech-filled sex life. Real talk. No bullshit. That's the future of sex.

12 May 2017 | 13: From Nude Tumblrs To Slut-Shaming: The Female Body Online (feat Emily Lindin & Sloane Cameron) | 00:24:54
In 2010, the iPhone 4 came with a front-facing camera – that made the selfie go viral and changed the way people, in particular women, produced, shared and controlled images of themselves. Since then, attitudes toward female sexuality have undergone incredible change - thanks in part to the supportive communities and activism on the internet. At the same time, the culture of sharing images cultivated a dark underbelly online, where revenge porn and non-consensual distribution of images has generated a new form of sexual violence. Today, 1 in 5 Australians have been victims of revenge porn. How do we untangle the culture of nude pics when, for most young people, sexting is considered normal, if not more normal, than a phone call? On this episode of Future of Sex, Bryony Cole explores the complicated world of women’s bodies on the internet, from nude Tumblrs to slut shaming. She interviews Emily Lindin, founder of The Unslut Project and Sloane Cameron, a nude Tumblr creator. Both offer perspectives of how sexuality may keep up with technology. 06 Jul 2017 | 14: Robot Sex Isn’t That Far Away: Ross Dawson Predicts the Future | 00:21:19
Today I’ll be having a conversation with Ross Dawson, a futurist who has some very specific predictions about the future of sex. He believes we will begin to have conversations with machines in the next 10 years, possibly in the next 5 years, where they can evoke our emotions. In fact, what we have seen from the technology coming from the “real dolls” sector indicates robots are becoming more attractive to us. Ross tells me it is safe to say at least one in 10 young adults with have had sex with a humanoid robot by 2045. Join us as we wrap the first season of Future of Sex with futurist Ross Dawson.
