Interview with Andrea Pole.
I'm very pleased that I had the opportunity, to invite and interview Andrea Pole from Equine Massage Training UK.

I met Andrea while studying to qualify as an equine massage therapist on one of her equine courses back in 2018.

I can honestly say it was an amazing experience and I was so lucky, not only to have a wonderful group of like minded people to study alongside with but also to have a passionate, hard working and very funny Tutor in the form of Andrea.
She has the biggest of hearts and she can't help but show it!

I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did. It's full of fun, facts and laughter as this is one thing that is never in short supply, when you spend a few hours with Andrea.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

19 Feb 2022Interview with Dr Susan Fay (Part 2) - Sacred Spaces Sacred Wisdom01:25:34

Send us a text

Interview with Dr Susan Fay.
I'm was so pleased to have my second interview with Dr Susan Fay.

Susan went into a little more detail on the intentions and ethics of her work and why this is so important for both horse and human.

She is such a wonderful and funny lady, I couldn't help but get a little star stuck.
I even forget an important name . . . (don't worry, it wasn't Susans!) lol

So sit back , relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Regards Ronnie

Note:
This recording was taken from a live stream with viewers asking a few questions.
Most of the Q & A's remain in this episode but where aimed at a live audience.

Dr Susan Fay:
Are the silent yet powerful ingredients missing from most horse training techniques and riding instruction.

In her research of horsemen and women who appear to have a gift with horses, Dr. Susan Fay outlines the invisible things these equestrians do that make their interactions with horses appear effortless.

As a research scientist and life-long equestrian, Dr. Fay spent more than two decades searching for scientific explanations for why some people are able to develop seemingly spiritual relationships with horses.

She discovered that equestrians with this gift merely know how to use their natural abilities in a way that most of us were never taught. These abilities already exist inside of each one of us, so we merely need to understand how to use them.

But we also need to be willing to open our eyes and hearts and let go of what we believe is possible.

Interview with Pat Cleveland and Paula Bosher.
It's always a pleasure when I get the chance to chat with Pat.  It's always such fun!

She has so much energy (which is a bonus in her line of work) that she just jumps of the screen or in this case, the audio.

I've had the pleasure of chatting with Pat on a few occasions as a guest but in this episode, we'll see how the process worked from one of her clients point of view, so that we can get a different perspective.

It gets even more interesting when you realise that the client lives in New Zealand and Pat lives in Alabama USA

Pat is an energetic and funny lady and her conversations usually take on a world of their own.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Introduction:
Horses are Pat Cleveland’s life, her muses and teachers.
The power of natural balance is magic to trainers, riders and most importantly horses.

Pat started the Balanced Horse Project to document how balance solved her horse’s problems.
A series of rabbit holes lead to the influence of birth trauma developed the crooked horse’s behaviour, physical limitations and learning.

She studied with the Resonant Science Foundation, the Berkeley Psychic Institute, Cherokee Shaman, Holistic Vet, Historical symbols, earned certifications in 12 holistic therapies, and is recognised as a Universal Energetic.

People bring horses to her in Dothan Alabama where horses unwind their bodies and restore body symmetry.

Whether a Mustang or purebred, once liberated from fear and pain, they go on to live better as natural sustainable horses.

18 Apr 2022Interview with Douglas Jones - Freelance Coach and Equestrian Training00:43:14

Send us a text

Interview with Douglas Jones.
I was very pleased when Douglas agreed to do an interview with me. He's such a lovely big hearted soul and it was great to chat with him.

We first met at one of the summer horse camps I attended as an equine communicator.  Since then we have become friends, albeit at a distance, we have stayed in touch from time to time.

He is a kind gentle soul with a passion for his work.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this fun, enlightening and informative  episode.

Douglas Jones.
Douglas has been riding since the age of 5 and being from a large family his parents were unable to afford a pony so he begged, borrowed and worked for rides on any and every horse he could.  Usually this meant the trickiest, naughtiest and most stubborn animals were his mount and so developed a reputation for successful training of an getting results from the most difficult of horses which has continued throughout his career

Competitively Douglas has had success in pure dressage competing up to advanced medium, showjumping to 1.30m level and eventing to intermediate level. Some highlights of his career have been to win the BUSA National equestrian championship whilst at university; representing GB on the student games teams; producing and competing and winning national championships on the leading coloured stallion in the uk for 3 years running and even being (as a junior) a successful carriage driving competitor winning Junior Whip at Cirencester Driving Trials more years ago than he cares to admit!

He's also lectured at two leading equestrian colleges, managed large competition yards and trained clients in all disciplines from beginners right through to national championship level riders. He is an selector and trainer for various riding clubs and pony clubs for both area and national competition, Judges horse trials dressage and also is often asked to be ride judge at warmblood gradings.

He has a calm and friendly approach to training both horses and riders and will push you to challenge your limits but will never ask you or your horse to do anything outside your capabilities.

The psychology of the horse and rider individually and as a combination fascinates Douglas and is the reason he loves working with riders and their horses to help them achieve and hopefully exceed their goals”

02 May 2022Interview with Betsy Vonda - Balanced with Betsy01:38:48

Interview with Betsy Vonda - Balanced with Betsy
I was very pleased to interview Betsy from Ontario Canada.
I came across Betsy on a podcast I listened too, who was a guest alongside another fascinating lady, who we get to hear a little about during the interview.

It was great hear Betsy talk about her passion for horses and how her work has changed her life in so many ways.

She has a passion and desire to see beyond the signs, when horses are presented to her for an analysis of horse behaviour.

Her skills as a paramedic (amongst other things) enable her to understand the physical and psychological aspects of horse training, as well as her clients too.
Afterall, as we all know, it's never just about the horses!

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Note: At the very end of this live interview, Betsy internet connection died but it was at the end so the only thing she didn't get to say , was thankyou and goodbye.

Betsy Vonda.
I’m fortunate to have never known a life without horses. I was raised on a small hobby farm in Ontario, Canada with my mother and older sister. My mother introduced me to the teachings of John Lyons and Monty Roberts as we restarted and trained our own ponies and horses for local multidisciplinary competitions. At an early age this process taught me that every horse has value and potential no matter their past experiences.

When it was time to choose my career path I reflected on my life experiences and the characteristics that I developed while working and living with horses and decided on becoming a paramedic. From my formal education, continued education and work experiences I began to see parallels between troubled people and horses.

I’ve learned that people's actions and behaviors can be heavily influenced by their past experiences, living conditions and nutrition. It became quite clear that horses are also influenced by the same factors. I believe that by better understanding the factors that influence their behavior we have endless opportunities to overcome challenges and set horses up for a balanced and successful life.

Over my adult life I have been on my own journey to finding balance in how I live my life. Shift work presented many challenges that I was not prepared for such as disruptive sleep and eating patterns which had a negative effect on my mental health and well being. This led me to dive into fitness and yoga as well as studying nutrition to learn how to run my body as efficiently as possible. The fitness journey also led me to the practice of mindfulness and gave me the ability to be more aware and present in every moment of my life.

Now that I have personally experienced the benefits of having balance in all aspects of my life it is my intention to help guide owners and their horses to a more balanced and harmonious relationship.

Interview with Jane Pike - Confident Rider Online.
I was very pleased and excited to announce an interview with Jane Pike from Confident Rider (New Zealand)

Jane has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to people and horses.
Her work with the nervous system within humans and horses is something I am excited to understand more about, for a deeper understanding into the mind and body and how it not only affects people but how it affects our horses too.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did making it.
Jane's work is fascinating, whether you're in to horses or not and as they say, it's all in the mind and that's a great place to start.

Jane Pike.
Jane works with riders to change their nervous system patterning from reflexive and reactive to adaptable and responsive.

With a background in behavioural science, motor repatterning, and movement education, Jane has worked with both competitive and recreational horse riders all over the world, inspiring them to new levels of confidence, connection and performance.

Her approach combines mindset, movement and holistic biomechanics with a specific focus on nervous system awareness and understanding.

23 Jun 2022Interview with Carla Bauchmueller - The Intuitive Rider00:59:56

Interview with Carla Bauchmueller - The Intuitive Rider
I am very pleased to announce an interview with Carla Bauchmueller from California USA.

Carla uses her intuitive and professional skills to help horse and rider connect on a deeper level by listening to each individual and developing exercise specifically for each person and horse to aid them in their mindset.

It was interesting to hear how her love of horses when she was a child, has developed into the career she has carved out for herself and continues to do so.

Join us both in an informal chat about Carla's life, love and our mutual passion for horses.

So sit back , relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Carl Bauchmueller.
I am passionate about helping women over 40 to be able to connect to their horses on a soul level, in the saddle and on the ground.

What I find is that they are sometimes afraid of their horse and don’t understand what their horse want to tell them. What they really want is to truly connect and spend harmonious and fear-free time with their horse.

I help these riders find a safe, balanced and well-coordinated seat, so that they can find subtle communication and deep connection with their horse when riding.

I help them to understand themselves better – physically, mentally, and emotionally – so that they can connect with their horse on a deeper level, and become The Intuitive Rider they and their horse want them to be.

My goal is to develop individual solutions which make learning fun and enjoyable for both, horse and rider, independent of discipline and level of experience.

Welcome Francis to our little family.
I'm so happy to share a little about Toots new field companion.
In the short time she's been here, Francis has already shown so much of her wonderful little character.

She settled in well and it wasn't long before the two of them were side by side.

This is a short episode explaining how Francis came my way and what happened when she arrived.

I'm so happy for Toots,  she finally has a field companion once again, as I know she missed her dear old  field family member (as do I) but she will never be forgotten.

03 Sep 2022Interview with Kathy Price - Point of Balance01:00:25

Interview with Kathy Price - Point of Balance
I'm pleased to announce an interview with Kathy Price and her guest's.
Although I've interviewed Kathy before on her own, as well as along side another amazing lady, on this occasion she will be accompanied by two client's, who experienced Kathy's work and can talk about it from their  own perspective.
I hope you enjoy this episode of fun, facts and laughter.

Kathy Price.
From a very young age horses have been THE passion in Kathy’s life. Even though Kathy grew up in the suburbs of London with totally a non-horsey family, somehow the love of the horse was always the most powerful thing in her life.

Kathy comes from a scientific background gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology. Her mindset then was always based on the scientific paradigm of you had to be able to “measure it, replicate it and explain it” for it to be true. If those criteria where in place Kathy was happy. If they weren’t she didn’t want to know.

That was until in 2003 when with her horse Midnight she went to a horsemanship clinic with clinician Len Judd. For her this clinic was the moment of transformation, a spiritual experience that changed her life.

From that weekend forward as she stepped into and embraced the world of energy and connection, her need for scientific explanation fell away and her mind set became
“My experience is my Truth.”

Now nearly 20 years on, after many years of studying energy, quantum physics, healing, spirituality and training in several energetic modalities, Kathy is well-established in her work which she calls Point of Balance.

Through this purely energetic work her aim is to help the person or animal she is working with move back into balance at all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
This move back to balance not only helps them to heal themselves, but also helps them realise their unique power and potential.

Kathy knows categorically that is the horse that has not only led her to the wonderful people around her today, but also continues to lead her into deeper and deeper insights of the fundamental aspects of this World and indeed The Universe, namely energy and connection.

Kathy’s work is carried out in person and at distance and she is blessed and grateful to have clients both people and animals, all over the world.

27 Sep 2022Interview with Dr Sam Fielding - www.drsamfielding.com01:20:16

Send us a text

I'm very excited to announce an interview with Dr Sam fielding
I recently came across Sam on a Warwick Schiller podcast were she was a guest.

It's no secret that I'm a big fan of his podcast because of the insight and knowledge that is shared to everyone who listens, not only to help our horses but to help ourselves too.
I was so struck by Sam that I sent her a private message saying thank you for sharing her story.

I hope you enjoy listening to this very vibrant and interesting lady who wants to shares with us, a little insight into her fascinating world.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Dr Sam Fielding.
Dr Sam is an Ivy league educated Dr of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Growing up in a family of orthopedic surgeons, she found her way to acupuncture, through her life long passion for horses.

Growing up in Maryland, Sam rode hunters, jumpers, and event horses as well as worked professionally for steeplechase and timber racehorse trainers. All she wanted to do was to ride professionally, but with zero support from her family in a career as a pro rider, she chose to go to vet school instead.

As life will do, she quickly realized that being a vet wasn’t the life for her, and began a decades long journey of “following the crumbs” to a life that she could never have imagined.

From a horse obsessed kid straight out of college, to a becoming a professional skier in 5 years from a pretty mediocre beginner, the love of the amazing rides she chased in her youth, became a life filled with following her bliss, in whatever life provided. And that meant over two decades away from horses full time.

After a debilitating struggle with PPD, after the birth of her first daughter, struggling from suicide, she found her way back to a life she thought she’d never experience again with the help of horses.

It has become her life’s work to share her understanding of how we shape the worlds we live in through the power of our minds. And firmly believes that all lovers of horses share a unique gift in our connection to horses. She shares her perspective on the power of our connection to horses and its purpose to help us heal as individual humans, and from there expand our compassion to help heal not only our communities, but also heal the world.
“It all starts with each of us, in our own minds - Dr Sam

09 Oct 2022Interview with Andrea Wady - Crossing Bridges00:48:11

Send us a text

Interview with Andrea Wady - Crossing Bridges.
I'm very excited to announce an interview with Andrea Wady.

I came across a facebook post introducing Andrea's new book and after reading a short extract, I knew this was a lady I would love to hear more about.

We chatted about their amazing adventure in costa rica, alongside one of her companions Elsa Sinclair and equally as amazing their two rescue horses. We also discussed her journey to being a liberty coach trainer and any plans she may have for the future.

I hope you enjoy my chat with Andrea, as she shares a little insight into her journey with horses, from all walks of life.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Andrea Wady - Crossing Bridges.
Now more than ever the Spirit of Adventure is a much needed tonic, like the beautiful bright orange sun climbing over the back hedge outside my window, it is awakening and shaking its tail feathers.

I can feel it calling to me now, it’s time to explore again. Moving home from 18 years in Costa Rica, nursing a sick relative to end of life, and of course the pandemic rather abruptly moved my wandering spirit into repose. But like everything in life, it goes full circle and change is once more coming. I feel myself stretch up and out, ready to embrace a new chapter in life. Do you feel the change in the air?  A planet of beautiful people once more wanting to experience life to the full.

When I left the UK twenty years ago for a vacation in Costa Rica, from which I never returned, I had no idea what an incredible roller coaster of a ride it would be. Sometimes there was WAY too much adventure, sometimes I was overwhelmed by fear, sometimes there was SO much joy I felt I could have bottled it 1000 times over and had plenty to spare. In short, it was the most glorious experience of my life. The pandemic changed all that of course, and as myself and my husband climbed onto an evacuation flight and headed home to the UK to care for family, I don’t mind admitting that I feared adventure would be in very short supply. The first winter back in England, as the world was still locked down, I felt so stagnant! I could hardly lift my feet from the mire. I had to change something, I was yearning for adventure, but I didn’t know what.

I have long learnt to be open to opportunity and know it rarely comes in the way we expect it. I felt so restless, I couldn’t sleep, so at 5am on a frozen white November morning I wrapped myself in a blanket and crunched across the grass to my writing hut. My tropical blood, recoiling at the cold, promptly abandoned my toes and hid deep inside my body. Reaching the relative warmth of the shed, I truthfully had no idea where to start. I held a steaming cup of tea and sat in front of a blank screen. It happened of course, I just started typing and words started to fill my page, I felt the incredible flow state descend like mist around me. In all honesty, I don’t feel like I wrote the words of my book, sure it was my fingers that were on the keyboard, but I finally understood there are stories out there waiting to be told, they just need to find someone to open enough to let them flow through them, that is how it felt for me.

I should never have doubted the universe!

04 Nov 2022Relaxing Sounds - Horses Snoozing and Gentle Rain00:08:52

Send us a text

The Sounds of Horses Snoozing (amongst other sounds too!)
A recording of a very short impromptu meditation I made yesterday.
(First I have to say the actual meditation part may not be as relaxing as I hoped and that's nothing to do with the end part)

I was sat with the horses (with a flask of tea) in their shelter, watching the rain fall and listening to the soothing sounds.

I found it very relaxing while recording this myself and also very amusing, which you will discover as to why towards the end.

Rather than spoil the moment, listen to the whole meditation and let me know if it made you smile.

It certainly did me and as I was feeling a little disappointed for other reasons, this certainly changed my moodset, which in my line of work, it was certainly meant to do.
(No such thing as coincidences, however they may seem)

Have a wonderful day and thank you for listening.
Regards Ronnie

Note:
The quality is better before I uploaded and listen back on my phone. It has more of an even sound throughout, however when uploaded the software changes it slightly by quieting  the background sound over the voice and increasing the other sounds in places, which doesn't quite have the same effect but you get the essence of the recording.

30 Nov 2022Interview with Crissi McDonald and Mark Rashid01:02:23

Send us a text

Interview with Crissi McDonald and Mark Rashid.
I'm so excited! I asked Crissi a while ago if she would like to join me for a chat.
She's been so busy with clinics and travel so it wasn't easy to fix a date but I'm happy to confirm we've finally recorded our session.
As an added bonus, Mark kindly agreed to join us both as a guest too . . . how lovely is that!

Two wonderful very successful individuals in their own right.

I was so looking forward to chatting with Crissi and Mark and I wasn't disappointed.
Crissi and Mark brought both knowledge and laughter to our conversation and they were happy to answer a few questions from the viewers who joined the live too.

Two very special guests who are not only down to earth but also have a wealth of knowledge individually, as well as combined.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Crissie McDonald.
Growing up she was most motivated when the work she did would earn her time with horses: lessons, mucking stalls in trade for a ride on a friend’s horse, babysitting to earn enough money for lessons, seeking out and finding horses where ever she could. Little did she know that all this time spent doing work would also be teaching her as well.  She was certified as an instructor through the CHA when she was twenty and got her first horse at twenty-four years old. Three more followed within two years.

She's had the pleasure to participate in western riding, working cattle, leading trail rides, managing large herds, showing in Hunt Seat Equitation and Dressage, taking jumping lessons, and has spent over thirty years working with many different breeds of horses and people from all over the world, as well as having the opportunity to learn from some of the horse industry's top leaders in our current understanding of humane horse practices.

Crissi enjoys teaching at clinics with her husband Mark Rashid. She's a certified Masterson Method® equine bodyworker since 2017 and is also an instructor for the Masterson two-day Beyond Horse Massage workshops. Crissi is the author of three books, two about the human/equine bond. Her other book, North to Home, is a fiction novel.

Mark Rashid.
Mark Rashid is an internationally known author and horseman known for his ability to understand the horse’s point of view and solve difficult problems with communication rather than force. He began working with horses at age ten, when he met the “old man,” who taught him to work with horses, not against them, and to listen to what the horse is trying to say. Mark’s clinics are structured as one-on-one work with horses and riders and are immensely popular with people around the world.

When Mark decided to study the martial art of aikido as a way to improve his horsemanship, he brought the same quiet determination to it that he exhibits in his work with horses. After years of practice, he has earned a third degree black belt in Yoshinkan aikido and now teaches the “way of harmony” in the local dojo as well as in his Aikido for Horseman workshops, which are known also by the name of “Aibado.”

Interview with Matthias Geysen.
I was very excited to have the opportunity to have Matthias Geysen as a guest on my live podcast.
I came across Matthias while doing some research and saw a video of him riding his stallion at liberty, through the mountains of Montana.
I was interested in his background so I asked him if he would like to be a guest and happily he said yes.

Of course we'll be talking about his live with horses but also the work he's done in his personal life, regarding his own intuitive development.

English is not Matthias native tongue but he still managed to get his message across and I found the conversation both interesting and enlightening.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Matthias Geysen.
I am someone who likes to explore and expand my boundaries and limitations.
I seek to understand the essence of life. Our personality and individuality as well as our position in the global movement.
What is the reason for our existence and what is it that makes us thrive in this world?

From a young age, I have been interested in unravelling the mysteries of life and sharing these insights with other people.
I realized that we all are actually chasing the same dream, but that we all have to follow our own path in getting there.

For the past 10 years I have been a professional horse trainer which enabled me to explore the world, explaining the life lessons horses taught me over the years.
I have recently moved on to focus on a new adventure and I'm now at a point in my life in which I would like to share my new knowledge with you.

14 Dec 2022Interview with Ginny Jablonski - Interspecies Evolution01:08:07

Send us a text

Interview with Ginny Jablonski.
I'm very pleased and excited to announce an interview with Ginny Jablonski.
Ginny is a renowned animal communicator, healer, author and so much more.
This was one of those "enlightening" interviews, that may take you to places that are hard to go and will certainly make you think in a slightly different way.
It was very interesting (and sometimes deep) but a very informative conversations with a very special lady.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Ginny Jablonski.
In 2001 Ginny retired from a career in international security to focus on resolving emerging medical issues. In 2012 she suffered a near death experience when Fentanyl, a prescription opioid medication, caused her lungs to stop working. After this event she began to see, sense, and feel energies in very dramatic ways for which she had no intellectual context. She was certain of one thing only: If she wanted to understand what was happening to her she needed to live, and that meant discontinuing all prescription medication. In her desire to regain control over her own health and well-being, she eagerly pursued alternative therapies and began educating herself in esoteric philosophies.

Well into her own journey, Ginny began her intuitive healing career focusing on humans. As time passed, she became spontaneously aware of the animals in her clients' lives as well. They frequently presented themselves in her human sessions with messages and healing requests. This contact piqued her interest and caused her to remember the animals' message from her NDE asking her to return. As a result, she began to shift her educational focus to animal specific healing techniques and animal communication.

Ginny's primary goal is to promote interspecies evolution and the evolution of consciousness awareness on our planet.

Interview with Steve Halfpenny.
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Steve Halfpenny.
I came across Steve many years ago on YouTube while doing a little research on gentle horsemanship. I bought a few of his light hands video tutorials (tapes, not cd's so that shows how long ago it was) I loved his approach and manner with the horses he worked with.

I hope you enjoy  listening to this interesting and exciting view into the world of Steve Halfpenny at Light Hands Equitation.
I loved our conversation and the surprise was I wasn't expecting it to go the way it did, which was a real treat.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode, as much as I did recording it.

Steve's Halfpenny.
Steve Halfpenny is the founder of Light Hands Equitation and Light Hands Horsemanship Program.

He travels extensively delivering clinics in Australia, NZ and UK and His specialist style of training is not discipline specific and can easily be applied to any form of riding.  Steve has proven that with the right training, any horse can be a relaxed and willing riding partner.

Steve's  key focus has been to find an easier way for the horse and rider to communicate, creating simpler ways of explaining horsemanship to people, so that they can better understand the horse’s intrinsic nature rather than simply delivering a rote training program.

This technique is not only effective for dressage and  competition, but is also highly beneficial for anyone looking to build their horse’s gymnastic ability, create softness in their horse and improve communication between themselves and their equine partners.

02 Jan 2023Interview with Heather Drummond - Healing Vitality01:06:26

Interview with Heather Drummond.
I'm delighted and very pleased to announce an interview with Heather Drummond.
Heather and I have been aware of each other through interactions on social media and also though our own individual mutual interests . . . intuition and horses.

Heather is a woman of many talents, as well as recording her very own podcast, so I was so excited to hear all about her work and her intuition that guides her through her life.

I hope you enjoy this informal and light hearted chat about life, love, horses and the universe, which is Heathers passion.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode just as much as I did.

Heather Drummond.
Heather enjoys keeping things simple. She uses her intuition and knowledge to work with her clients.

Heather loves empowering people with knowledge and skills to help them support themselves. She has an innovative and unique way of seeing the world and how everything is connected. When she established her business in 2005 after working in the corporate world, she didn't want to compete with anyone in her industry. Heather wanted to be able to work with all aspects of a person's health team.  She is a true believer in the power of transformation. She learned from personal experience that self care is a non-negotiable for everyone.

Growing up Heather always had an affinity for animals. Everything she does with her human clients, she enjoys doing for her animal clients. She has put together a unique tool box to support and optimize her clients physical, emotional and energetic well-being. Heather has found great joy including animals in her practice. She also loves working to support owners build better connections with their animals. Heather's intuition over the years has lead her to work with dogs, cats and horses. She loves being able to collaborate with her clients because everyone's intuition and knowledge is important to the process.

Heather dipped her toe in the horse world in a therapeutic riding program in 2015 and since 2019 has dived into the horse world ‘heart first’ and has found her passion. Using all her knowledge and continuing training in Equina Fascia and Trauma Release and the rabbit hole of all things horses as the learning never ends in the horse world. The more we think we learn the more the horse can teach us.

Heather shifted from the corporate world into the entrepreneurial world at 36 years old based on intuition. She has become an advocate for intuition over her career. She created and ran the INTUIT Kids Camp for several years empowering kids to stay connected, embrace their intuition and energy awareness. She also had the intuition to create a podcast to inspire people to listen to their intuition in recent years. Her podcast See'rs, Be-ers, Knowers and Doers brings her so much.  It is truly a pleasure to get to know and share people who have wonderful insights and experiences with their own intuition.

Supporting people and animals with tools to reduce their stress and optimize their health is what inspires Heather.  She feels blessed being able to do this for a living.

Winter Thoughts.
I recorded this today while sat out with the horses. It was such a beautiful peaceful day and I  had the inspiration to share a few thoughts floating around my head.

Don't worry, I won't share all the thoughts that float around my head, we would be here all day!

There were lots of lovely mellow sounds of birds and horses doing what they do best, eat and pass wind  (that's the horses not the birds . . . lol) but the software takes most of that out.

Have a wonderful day, wherever you are in the world.

12 Feb 2023Interview with Dr Susan Fay - www.drsusanfay.com01:32:55

Interview with Dr. Susan Fay.
I'm excited to announce an interview with Dr Susan Fay.
It was lovely to hear all about Susan's adventures since our last chat when she attended a summit in San Antonio last year, as well as hear about her plans for the future.

It's always a pleasure to listen to Susie talk about her passion and her work.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Dr Susan Fay.
Like many horse-crazy girls, I spent most of my youth pretending to be a horse, reading about horses, watching horse movies, wishing I could ride one, and hoping desperately that one day I would have a horse of my own. My dream came true at nine years old when my parents bought me a horse named Sox. He was old and had only two speeds left, slow and slower. Although they indulged me in my passion, my parents made sure I understood that a profession involving horses was not a realistic option. Therefore, I became an environmental scientist, a respectable and responsible career path. I tried to make it work and even got a master's degree in it, but I was completely miserable.

In my late 20's, I married a man who agreed to let me pursue my horse passion full-time. We bought a ranch in northwestern Colorado and raised Morgan horses and Scottish Highland cattle. I spent my days doing ranch chores, starting young horses, refining my groundwork, and honing my western and dressage riding skills. I also spent a great deal of time observing how horses interact with each other in the herd.

During my time on the ranch, I attended horse clinics and began showing my horses in dressage, carriage driving, and various western disciplines. I quickly realized that even though I achieved great results at home with my horses, shows were a totally different story. My inability to control my emotional state led to many disappointing outcomes in the show ring. I realized I was the problem, but there were few people or resources I could find that would help me gain control over my show nerves.

On my own, I began to explore spiritual practices and psychological techniques to improve my mental ability to handle stressful situations. I began to see enormous changes in both myself and my horses, even winning regional, national, and world championships. On Tank, my Morgan horse, I got my first real taste of riding in the Sacred Space.

My journey to find the Sacred Space and teach it to others has not been easy. I have encountered rejections, frustration, and outright hostility. I have kept going because I know what is possible when you take this journey. When we improve ourselves, our horses reward us beyond our wildest dreams.

Interview with Scout & Michelle - Scout's Trail.
I'm very pleased to announce my third interview with Scout and Michelle from Scout's Trail (USA).

It's been over a year since our last chat so I'm excited to hear all about their adventures since we last spoke and to see how Tuk Tuk is getting on with his training.

Scout is his carer and trainer and she is only 14 (Tuk Tuk is now 3yrs) she is doing an amazing job with him.

I hope you enjoy this podcast with Scout and Michelle (Scout's mum) for an informal chat about life, horses and their amazing adventure called life.

You won't be disappointed and who knows, they may even inspire you to follow your own dreams and one day make them a reality.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Scout & Michelle's Story.
My mom and I traveled the world (I have been to 11 countries so far) for about 4 years. On August 15 2019, after selling our farm on Cape Cod, we hit the road full time.
We live in a tiny home (truck camper) and tow our horses. We are seeing America by horseback! I have always been homeschooled. It is primarily done through experiential learning. Travel and culture providing endless opportunities for learning.
I also have dealt with anxiety and depression and have fought my way back to a happy life. The road, the animals and nature is the place for me.
We mostly camp and boondock in places where our trail dog is welcome. We would love to meet up and ride, especially if you have any kids who like to ride.
Mom and I are available to speak at your club, venue, event or gathering. We can speak on our lifestyle and adventures, unschooling, my recovering from a riding accident and controlling anxiety.
Mom can also teach wilderness medicine and how to stay safe and prepared in the backcountry. Feel free to message Scout's Trail with any requests.

Interview with Gail Simmons - Intuitive Energy Animal Communication.
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Gail Simmons from Canada.
Gail is an intuitive animal communicator but that is not her only skill as she has a few strings to her bow and after our initial chat a few days ago, I was very excited to see where this conversation would takes us, so I'm delighted to have the opportunity to introduce you to Gail, who shares some of her stories of the animals she's communicated with . . . you won't be disappointed.

I hope you enjoy this light hearted get together with lots of laughter too.
It was certainly an interesting and enlightening conversation for sure.

So sit back , relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Please note:
Due to a small technical error (the sound quality from my mic only) the quality of sound from my side of the conversation is not as clear as it normally is.

Gail Simmons.
Animals have been part of my fibre for my whole life but horses are part of my soul.  I have had horses for over fifty years, and I can’t imagine my life without them.

The energy world opened to me when at 17 years old, I started to have dreams that came true in every detail but it was some years ago during an introductory course on Animal Communication that I realised that I could easily connect with the ‘practice animals’ and receive accurate information from them.

Since then, I have had the privilege of connecting so many animals with their humans in a way that helps them understand and connect with each other in ways they never have before. This warms my heart.

Anyone can do this.  I am an ordinary Canadian with children and grandchildren; a loving husband, and dogs, and horses and a cat who rules us all. I hope to share some wonderful, and often unbelievable stories with you from what I call, “the other side” where the energies have free rein (pardon the pun) to transmit information from animal to human in a loving and helpful way.

Interview with Mona Illerbrun - Berkana.ca - Partner up.
Oh boy!
I recently had a message from Mona as she wanted to share something profound that happened to her just over a week ago (prior to this podcast)
Mona is a very enlightened lady and is well aware of her own inner guidance but this took her (and her horse) to a whole new level and although may be a little hard for some people to get their head around, it's a very good and important example, of how changing an automatic behaviour of what we would normally do, can change the outcome in so many ways.

This was a deep, heartfelt and at times funny conversation with Mona.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode, just as much as I did being part of this conversation.

Rhythm of the Night.
Inspirational writing is something I do from time to time and the feeling (or awareness) is very similar to when I am connecting for an animal or human for a communication, it has the same feel.

I was thinking today that I hadn't done any writings for a little while . . . (I should have known lol) . . .  because thats sometimes a clue that something is on its way . . . and here it is.

I hope you like this little thought poem as it's written to be shared.

Interview with Dr Sam Fielding - www.drsamfielding.com
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Dr Sam Fielding.

This was our second conversation and I was so I'm looking forwards to hearing about her new ventures (her new horse) and what she has been up to since we last spoke.

Sam is a lovely warm, open person who has discovered a different way of being in this world and the great thing is, she is able to help other people do the same and who knows, they may even achieve their dreams too.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Dr Sam Fielding.
Dr Sam is an Ivy league educated Dr of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Growing up in a family of orthopaedic surgeons, she found her way to acupuncture, through her life long passion for horses.

Growing up in Maryland, Sam rode hunters, jumpers, and event horses as well as worked professionally for steeplechase and timber racehorse trainers. All she wanted to do was to ride professionally, but with zero support from her family in a career as a pro rider, she chose to go to vet school instead.

As life will do, she quickly realised that being a vet wasn’t the life for her, and began a decades long journey of “following the crumbs” to a life that she could never have imagined.

She shares her perspective on the power of our connection to horses and it's purpose to help us heal as individual humans, and from there expand our compassion to help heal not only our communities, but also heal the world.

“It all starts with each of us, in our own minds - Dr Sam

Interview with April Love - www.holistichorseworks.com
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with April Love from Holistic Horse Works.
I've been a follower of April for a while now so it was a real treat to have her on as a guest and learn more about her work and her passion for horses.

She has skills in many areas and her work is not just aimed at the horse world, as her two legged human clients have experienced many benefits too but don't just take my word for it, April has many testimonials to validate her work and the great thing is she wants others to share in that experience too.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

April Love.
Owner of Holistic Horse works LLC, April Love empowers horse lovers to take healing into their own hands in order to keep their horses healthy, happy, and rideable through their 30’s while saving thousands of dollars on vet care.

She has created a unique IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) approved methodology that she teaches through in-person, hands-on clinics as well as virtual home study courses. April has also trained and vetted many instructors who share this practice worldwide.

Early on in her horse riding, care, and training career, April noticed that many people were just treating the symptoms that the horses were experiencing, and not solving the root of their issues. Most of all, she noticed that many horses labeled “problem horses” were really just in some kind of pain or discomfort, and in each of their hearts, they really just wanted a partner who was willing to listen.

After spending tens of thousands of dollars taking every horse care course she could find, April Love took her accumulated knowledge and blended it with her own unique insight in order to synthesise the Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding, CranioSacral Unwinding & Advanced Applied Kinesiology, and Equine Cranial Decompression methodologies.

These methods all offer a systematic approach to healing the horse’s body that blends concepts of massage, reiki, bio-energy, and intuitive listening. She begins in conversation with the horse, asks them what they need, and compassionately waits for the answer. Afterward, she applies whatever techniques are most fitting at that time. The goal is to assist the horse’s body in returning to a balanced and aligned state so that it can heal itself and function optimally, while also providing mental and emotional support.

You can learn more about April Love and her unique work with horses by visiting www.holistichorseworks.com. She is always looking for new students, instructors, and event hosts!

Coming up: New Sister Podcast - Heart & Soul.
Hello and welcome to this short podcast.
The reason being is I wanted to share something really exciting, well I think it's exciting . . . I'm about to launch my second podcast.

Now this has been on the cards for a little while, in fact I think properly a year or so but I've not done anything with it. I've had the title but not known where I'm going with this but recently it's been at the forefront and I think now is the time, I'm trusting my gut and I'm getting inspiration so this is what I'm doing.

It will be very much based similar to my equine voices podcast,  where my guests will share their stories, inspirational moments and how life took them on a slightly different direction to what they initially thought.

There will be some crossovers and of course there may be conversations based around horses too, but this podcast will be aimed at the intuition and delve in hopefully a little deeper into the life of my guests and see where that will take us.

I'm so, so excited and I hope my regular listeners will enjoy these episodes too, because as I said, they will be based around intuition, light bulb moments and hopefully anyone that listens may have their own, oh okay, light bulb moment too.

I look forward to publishing my first episode very, very soon and I'm excited to see who my guess will be, I have an idea in my head but I haven't asked them yet, So we'll have to see where that goes.

So that's the information I wanted to share and also, I'm going to be publishing a patron group too, we'll have some webinars, so that listeners can actually come on board and share their experiences but also ask questions from the guests, So keeping an eye open for that too.

Have a lovely, lovely day wherever you are in the world.
Take care and bye for now.

Regards Ronnie

03 Jun 2023Communication - The depth of love that can often be shared has no limits.00:13:08

Send us a text

Communication.
The depth of love that can often be shared has no limits or boundaries and is not always relayed in word form.

This was a recording I made live after a session with one of my clients.
It was so beautiful and heart felt that I wanted to share with people while I was still in the flow of that lovely energy.

In fact it stayed with me for the next 24 hours (which sometimes happens after a communication ) and it was no less diminished over time.

This is something that can not be orchestrated, it happens organically and I am not responsible for the outcome but when it does, it's something you never forget.

It is simply the feeling of unconditional love, on many levels.

I hope you enjoy this short episode and once again, thank you for all your support and listening to my podcasts.

Have a wonderful day.

18 Jun 2023Interview with Lily Wilson - www.nurturingnatureequine.co.uk01:07:17

Send us a text

Interview with Lily Wilson .
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Lily Wilson.
Lily is a qualified veterinary surgeon from the UK who uses all of the knowledge she has accumulated so far, into helping her clients have a more holistic approach, regarding the animals in their care.

Lily was a delight to chat with and there was so much more to the conversation than the normal vet subjects.
I hope you enjoy this episode as we delve a little deeper into Lily's life and her work with horses, humans and so much more.

Lily Wilson.
Lily is a veterinary surgeon with a wide breadth and depth of passions and
expertise in species-appropriate husbandry, anatomy and locomotion, pain
physiology, harmonious and ethical riding and training, and ecosystem health.

Lily has worked in practice with horses, donkeys, pets and livestock, in private and
charity clinics, in general practice and in a hospital as an emergency clinician,
both in the UK and overseas.

She completed a Batchelor of Science degree whilst
at vet school to do a deep dive into comparative animal locomotion, skeletal
pathology and wildlife health. Alongside her veterinary career she has studied and practiced riding teaching, saddle fitting and ethical training and has a deep
fascination with the influence of movement on physical, mental and emotional
health and wellbeing.

Recently she has also done postgraduate study on
biodiversity and ecosystem health, especially focusing on the ingredients for
harmonious, mutually beneficial coexistence of people and our animals with the
natural world and has has taken a change in direction from solely conventional veterinary practice. Her path into this was illuminated by a new yearling colt, Sunny, who she brought home in 2020.
He is an incredible teacher and gives daily life lessons.

Lily’s main goal nowadays is to help people truly advocate for their animals with a mindful application of head and heart. In providing advice and education on animal health and wellbeing and in practicing as a vet, the core of her approach is combining scientific evidence with compassionate understanding.
She believes in identifying and tackling deep, systemic root causes of ill health and wellbeing. At the core of her philosophy is that physical, mental and emotional wellbeing are inextricably interconnected and that there is a wisdom to nature and the body in its own healing that we can assist.

Further to this, she sees time and again that cultivating meaningful relationships with our animal companions holds an important key to solving ill health and that deep awareness and a compassionate process will enable us to find sustainable, ethical solutions.

Interview with Pat Cleveland and Guest Sally Spencer- The Balanced Horse Project
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Pat Cleveland - The Balanced horse Project  Alabama (USA) and her guest client, Sally Spencer from the UK.

I've had the pleasure of chatting with Pat on a few occasions as a guest but in this episode we'll see how the process worked from one of her clients point of view (Sally is located in the UK) so that we can get a different perspective from both sides.

Pat is an energetic and funny lady and her conversations usually take on a world of their own.

I'm was so looking forward to hearing all about Pat's recent travels and the horses and people she met along the way.

Pat is a delight and so was her guest Sally.
So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Note:
This audio was taken from the live video version, some of the content is based around viewers being able to see the diagrams (photos of horses)
If you wish to see the images for reference, you can find them on the YouTube video link below.

I also wish to apologise before hand for some of the audio quality (mainly my own) due to my mic switching to the dest top not my main mic.

You can still hear the main participants, Pat and Sally, so I hope it doesn't spoil the essence of this session.

Pat Cleveland.

International Consulting, classes and discussions on Zoom, clinics and workshops and travel worldwide.

I'm was really looking forward, to finally having the chance to get to know more about Gareth's life, his work and his future ventures and he didn't disappoint.

He even played one of his own written songs at the end (although he did have to take his headset off so he could play his guitar, so the sound quality is not as it should be)
I've added his Youtube music channel for those of you who would like to hear more of his music.

So sit back, relax and I hope you join us both for an intersting conversation about life, horses and so much more.

Gareth Mare'.

I'm very excited and pleased to announce an interview with the delightful Linda Tellington-Jones.

Not only is Linda an amazing horse woman, she is also a very intuitive lady who has carved her own path in this world.

Linda Tellington-Jones is a world-famous horse expert. With her innovations, she has significantly contributed to the horse world for more than five decades. But not only the horse scene profits from Linda's ideas: The Tellington TTouch Method is just as successfully applied to domestic, wild, and zoo animals as well as humans.

Linda Tellington-Jones has published over 20 books and 10 educational films in 15 different languages over the years. There are over 1,700 certified Tellington-TTouch trainers for horses, dogs, and people in 27 countries who use and teach the methods.

In 2008, Linda Tellington-Jones received an honorary doctorate from Wisdom University in California for her services. Linda Tellington-Jones lives with her husband, Roland Kleger, in Hawaii and still teaches TTouch worldwide.

In 1975 Linda began her 4-year long training as a Feldenkrais teacher at the "Institute of Humanistic Psychology" in San Francisco. At the same time, she began to develop the Tellington Method for horses. In Germany, she published the book "How to educate your horse" together with icon Ursula Bruns, which has become a classic among guidebooks for horses.

In 1983 she invented the famous circular touches, called Tellington TTouch. She holds lectures at veterinary congresses in Europe and in the USA. In 1987 a research project on the effect of TTouch on the brain waves in humans was started, marking a breakthrough for her method.

Interview with Jordanna Anawalt.
I'm very pleased to announce an interview with Jordanna Anawalt.

I recently came across Jordanna on a podcast with Warwick Schiller (The Journey on Podcast) I found the conversation so engaging, that I decided to send her an email to say how much I enjoyed the conversation and to invite her on as a guest and to my surprise, she replied straight away and accepted my invitation.

I hope you enjoy this episode, as I loved chatting with Jo and finding out a little more about her work with horses, humans and the knowledge she wishes to share with the world.

Note:
The sound quality may not be as crisp as I would like due to Jo's headset not working on the live stream but it does not distract the message and information that Jo wishes to share.

Jordanna Anawalt.
Jordanna Anawalt is an enrolled Hupa native descending from the Hoopa Valley Tribe of Northern California. She acknowledges that the beautiful Central Oregon land that she currently resides and works upon is the original homelands of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs who ceded the land in the Treaty of 1855.

Jordanna works as a Congruent Communication Coach with humans and horses, a Medicine Drum Dreaming Guide, an artist, a story holder, and a communication channel for those without spoken language. She is the creator of Equine Experiential InnerStanding™ and the specialisation of CHOICE Horsemanship™. Her work focuses on guiding humans and horses to oneness by revitalising indigenous approaches to live in harmony with the natural world.

From her earliest memories, Jordanna was tuned in to the whispers of the natural world and is a lifelong student of the teachings of the 7-Directions as well as the symbolism contained within The Dreaming. During an out of body experience when she was an adolescent, a being appeared and offered her the following insight: "In every moment, you have a choice. You can choose to live in a story that is created by what's happening to you or you can choose to live in a story where you are the creator of events. Your experience is simply your choice."

Jordanna traveled to Western Australia, Indonesia, and Hawaii where she was a student of the land and several Medicine Keepers who gifted her the remembering of the Horse as a representation of Nature. When she returned to the PNW, she held a strongly rooted understanding of the need to cultivate a community connection space where the approach to holistic well-being was inspirited by indigenous wisdoms and inspired by the Medicine Horse and her way of life. She made a choice to create what was being called forward and CHOICE Tribe was born.
CHOICE Tribe was founded in 2019 out of a deep admiration and reverence for the Horse alongside Jordanna's indigenous heritage―Hupa―which honors the inextricable connection between the natural world and spirit plane. The programs CHOICE Tribe presents to the world are an embodiment of the original knowing that there is no separation between Nature and the People, because we are Nature.

Animals and Afterlife - Q&A - with Ronnie King.
A conversation about animals and afterlife, through my own experiences and although is not the main part of my work, it is something that I do from time to time.

It is always an honour to connect with a beloved soul and often it is the animal that chooses to connect with me,  so I can pass on any messages they wish to share with their loved ones.

The book below is a beautiful book I read many years ago, about a woman who wanted answers, to events that happened after she lost some of her beloved animals.
You will never look at your animals in the same way again.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Note: You will find links below for the people I mentioned.

A section from one of Kim's books:
Animals and the Afterlife
Do animals have souls?
What happens when they die?
This book offers some amazing answers.

Kim Sheridan grew up with animals as her constant companions. Each time she faced the death of a beloved animal, along with the pain came the same questions, to which she could find no answers. Then mysterious things began to happen which she could not explain. Unable to dismiss these mysterious events, Kim embarked upon what became an incredible journey to uncover the truth. Along with her own experiences, she compiled the extraordinary experiences of ordinary people from around the world. She discovered overwhelming evidence that forever erased her own doubts of an afterlife for animals. Kim’s award-winning book provides reassurance to anyone who has ever loved and lost an animal.

Interview with Dr Tomas Teskey - www.insighttoequus.com
Second time lucky!
After our first attempt (which didn't get off to a good start due to technical issues and mosquitoes) I'm very pleased to announce f an interview with Dr Tomas Teskey from  Arizona USA.

It was my lovely regular podcast guests Scout and Michelle from "Scout's trail" who suggested I contact Tomas to see if he would like to be a guest and I'm very pleased to say he said yes, so thank you Scout and Michelle for your recommendation.

Tomas has a wealth of knowledge and he is very passionate about about his work, horses and how we can help them and ourselves with a little more understanding of their needs. A little step can go along way and It always starts with one step at a time.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode for an interesting and enlightening conversation, around everything horse related and so much more.

Dr Tomas Teskey.
Dr. Tomas Teskey is a human, native to Arizona and the second oldest of five siblings in a six-generation ranching family. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Botany from Northern Arizona University in 1991, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Colorado State University in 1995. He has practiced large animal medicine and surgery in Arizona since graduation, with the majority of his work focusing on horses.

Taking a special interest in equine podiatry since 2001, he became a passionate supporter or the barefoot performance horse, and published “The Unfettered Foot, A Paradigm Change for Equine Podiatry”, in the Journal of Equine Veterinary Science in February, 2005. This sparked greater attention, discussion and interest within the veterinary community about the benefits of a more holistic and natural approach to hoof care versus the more antagonistic approaches of conventional farriery. Numerous other articles have continued to explore these not-so-new ideas.

Dr. Teskey originally learned to shoe horses as part of normal ranching duties and conventional veterinary care, and now focuses on developing equine management programs that nurture a happy human-horse partnership.

Applying the principles of holistic hoof care to his horses, he has learned valuable, on the ground lessons from the horses themselves, which now enjoy greater soundness and vitality, working in the same rough Western terrain as previous generations.

With superior health and soundness as a goal, he is a leading veterinary authority on the equine hoof and barefoot performance horse, is dedicated to continued research in hoof care, and is happiest supporting horse owners in their efforts to achieve honest soundness by holding lectures and workshops on horse and hoof care worldwide.

He lives on the family ranch in Arizona with his wife Csenge and four children.

Interview with Tom Mayes - Integrated Equine Therapies
I'm excited to announce an interview with Tom Mayes from California USA.
I've been aware of Tom for a while but after listening to his story on a recent podcast I realised I knew very little of about him, however, everything he talked about is right on my wave length.

It was only when one of my listeners mentioned him in a message that I thought why don't I ask him if he would like to be a guest on my podcast and I'm very delighted he said yes.

Tom has a wealth of knowledge and I was so struck by how many similarities we had, from an energy point of view.  It felt like I was talking to an old friend
(Which to be honest, I feel with most of my guests)

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this informative, enlightening and deep conversation about all things horses and human and so much more.

Tom Mayes.
Tom is Clinician, Educator and owner of Integrated Equine Therapies.
Integrated Equine Therapies is a highly effective approach that addresses the core causes of lameness, metabolic and emotional dysfunction.
He integrates cutting edge proven modalities to resolve acute and chronic issues at their deepest level thereby restoring normal function.

Tom is formally trained in Osteopathy, Applied Kinesiology,  CranioSacral, Acupressure TCM, Myofascial Release and Reiki.
He has studied with world-class professionals in proven ancient therapies and modern cutting-edge modalities.

He is also the creator of “Integrated Equine Therapies,” a highly effective approach that addresses the core causes of lameness, metabolic and emotional dysfunctions.

He was born and raised in the mountains of the western United States. Having the freedom to explore vast open spaces left an indelible mark on him, his sense of adventure, and his great love of the natural world.

Tom’s fascination with science and healing has been influenced by his father, Darrel M. Mayes, who is noted for developing the first accurate tests for hormones and was a world-renowned researcher in the field of Endocrinology. In fact, he was considered for nomination for the Nobel Prize in Science.

He instilled in Tom a deep respect for scientific methods and research; and
emphasised the importance of verifying results.
At the age of 12, Tom would sit in lectures at the medical school near his father’s lab. He realised that for all the great achievements of
modern science, something was missing, something deliberately set aside, something core.
Since those days of budding awareness, Tom’s life has focused on defining and illuminating that missing essence through teaching, healing, and sharing.
He continually explores weaving technique with intuition, integrating the left brain with the right brain and merging Newtonian physics with quantum physics. Regardless of the approach, however, it all comes from the heart and trusting one’s intuitive intelligence.

Tom has a martial arts background, degrees in Environmental Science and Medical Anthropology and in his previous career, spent 20 years teaching science and math to children. He has received numerous awards and is recognised as a four

New Home New Adventures.
Hello and welcome to this little update on why I’ve been a  little quiet since my last podcast and what I’ve been up to in the last month.

Myself and the girls (horses) have moved to another area of the UK.

A move was on the cards but to be honest, I was not sure where it would be.

Well here I am and after taking a little while to settle, I’m now looking forward to seeing where this road will take me.

Sometimes you have to take a leap of faith (even if it’s not initially where you wanted to go)  there are reasons that at this time I may not be be able to see and  this is the next step in my particular journey.

When you ask the universe to deliver, it may not always be in the way you expected but I can assure you more often than not, it may be far better than you could ever imagine.

Have a wonderful day,
Regards Ronnie

Note:
This recording was made while sat  with my horses one evening, so the quality may have a little background sound in parts.

Sharing a few moments in time.
A little recording I made on my iPhone this evening while sat under the moon and stars.
There is nothing quite so peaceful as being with the horses and sitting in the early evening moonlight, at the end of a day.

It's grounding, relaxing and just a blissful place to be.

Have a wonderful weekend, wherever you are in the world and find your own piece of heaven, in the stillness, of a moment in time.

Sunshine and Rainbows.
A little recording I made this morning while sat with the horses.
It was a foggy start but as the mist cleared and lifted from the ground, the sun smiled and the birds began to sing

Beautiful moments that make your heart sing along knowing that this is a taste of things to come.

Spring has popped her hear around the corner to remind us that nothing stays the same and neither do we.

Have a beautiful day, wherever you may be in the world.

All the dots don’t have to be aligned.
Another little impromptu recording while sat out with the girls.
I guess sometimes you have to role with the dice and as I'm unable to download my latest podcast interview (due to snail speed internet lol and yes, it really is that slow) I feel prompted to do a few little recordings of my own.

I love the fact that they are of the cuff and you get to hear some of the sounds of nature that is all around, although the software may edit some of it out.

I hope you enjoy this little episode and if anything resonates with you, it would be great to get some feedback, if you feel you would like to get in touch and share.

Have a wonderful day, wherever you may be in the wold.

I'm  so delighted to have another chance to have an in depth conversation with Tom and after our last session, it was obvious from some of the comments, that the listeners enjoyed that part too.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this second session with Tom, to understand a little more about his passion, his work and the love he has for horses.

Solar Flares - Aurora Borealis
What a magical evening of light and colour that could be seen in many areas of the globe.

I'd gone to bed but as I looked out of my window I could see subtle changes in the sky and remembered about the solar flares, so I went out to take a look for myself and was not disappointed.

It was magical and well worth staying up for the experience.

I hope you managed to see some of the amazing lights displays too but if not you may be able to see some tonight (depending where you are in the world) and if you're in the right place at the right time.

Receiving with Gratitude .
Sometimes we forget, how often beautiful gifts of kindness are bestowed upon on us in our journey of life.

Not all are from friends or family, they may be from a stranger or a universal intervention that helped you on your way.

No matter how small (or big) the kindness we are offered, it should be received and accepted with the intention it was given, from a place of love.

There are many times I have been "looked after" on my journey while driving my car and in many other ways too,  with thoughts of "Goodness . . . I was very lucky"

It's easy to forget those moments when you feel you may be going through a sticky rough part of your life but I'm sure, if you sat and wrote down all the wonderful gifts, from all walks of live you have received over the last few years, you would realise how lucky you are indeed.

I am so appreciative of ALL the acts of kindness (seen and unseen) I have received over the years and I wish to thank all those who have helped and supported me, without asking for anything in return (you know who you are) and shown me that it is ok to ask for help and accept it with a smile, not a heavy heart.

From my heart to yours . . .
Thank you xx

Interview with Kerri Lake.
I'm so excited to announce an interview with Kerri Lake.

It's been a while since I did a live interview and I've really missed chatting with my lovely guests (I have a backlog to catch up with) so I was delighted to have the opportunity to chat with Kerri about her life, intuition, working with horses as an animal communicator and anything else she wishes to talk about on the day.

She even has a podcast, Compass Conversations, which invites other well known peers who get together for an organic chat on various subjects to see where the conversation takes them.

Her next project is the Intuitive Learning Foundation which is in its very beginning stages.

I hope you can join us both for an insight into Kerri's work with horses, humans and so much more.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

You can view this interview on fb and YouTube.

Kerri Lake.
Kerri is masterful in many ways. Her early awareness included a natural ability to communicate with animals and all of life in subtle realms of consciousness, through energy and presence. With wisdom, guidance and communication from many teachers (human and non-human), she assists to help you recognize your capacity to experience connection and communication through presence, through the heart.

She has experienced several near-death and expanded-consciousness events, each of which reminded her of the dynamic power of living from the heart, for the heart. Without dependence on a modality or system, Kerri has blazed a new trail on the road to freedom from limitations and conditioning. On this trail, all species are welcome and integrate through frequencies of communication. The greatest gift she can give to you is her own purity of expression, sharing her own journey, to help you see that if she can do it...so can you.

Interview with Leslie Desmond.
I was so excited when Leslie agreed to join me on my podcast, especially as she is such a busy lady, who often travels around the globe for her work.

Unfortunately due to a few technical issues, the quality of the recording was not audible in a few places throughout the session, which made it a little difficult to edit.

However, I am pleased to say I have managed to edit most of those parts out and although the recording is a little shorter than I would have liked, you can still appreciate the essence and passion of Leslie's character and the amazing work she does, with horses and people all over the world.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this short episode with the very talented and knowledgeable, Leslie Desmond.

Please note, some of the upcoming events Leslie mentioned will have passed due to the timing of getting this podcast out.

It was recorded before the events took place.

Sunday Morning Inspiration.
Over a morning cup of tea and a conversation with an amazing beautiful lady, I witnessed a glow in her face as she talked about her dreams in life.

Her whole being glowed from within, as she spent a few moments bathing in that feel, of what it would be like to live that life.

We all have those moments and we will never know if what we wish (hope for) will ever be a reality in this lifetime but what I will say, is that each moment you allow yourself to feel into that amazing feel, you are one step closer to what your heart truly desires.

The conversation reminded me not to dither (be indecisive lol) and make a commitment to myself to move forward in my own "one step closer to my dream".
It may be a 100 steps but it's a step nevertheless.

So what are you waiting for . . . you have NOTHING to lose.

I believe in you xx

A Christmas Gift.
A little message I made this evening on my way back from the horses.
I hope this Christmas season brings you joy, in whatever form it may arrive and a chance to take some much needed time out to relax and take stock of what it is YOU need at this time.

Remember . . . a gift is a gift and each gift is unique and special and the best gifts of all are the ones that need no reason or currency to deliver but more than that, the best gift of all is the gift you allow for yourself . . .  time, rest and peace of mind.

I would also like to take this opportunity as always to say a big thank all my listeners, wherever you may be in the world.

I am grateful to each and everyone of you, as you contribute to the energy that is felt in these podcasts, which make it all worthwhile.

Merry Christmas and Best wishes for the New Year.

Communication Comes in Many Forms

Goodness, It has it really been 4 months since me last episode!

"Yes Ronnie it has" . . .  lol

Sometimes that's how the dice roll, it was not my intention but there are times when you have to stop trying to make something happen and allow things to move forward when it feels ready.

Todays little insight is after a conversation with a client and her beautiful horse.

I wanted to share how communication comes in many forms and on so many levels, which you will hear about in this short episode.

To say I communicate with animals is underestimating my role, as It goes much deeper.

Through my own awareness (my own knowing) I'm aware on another level, the conversation has already taken place.

It just needs to filter down to the human element.

We all have the ability to feel and hear much more than we believe possible.

Everyone has this ability and it will present itself in different ways, different formats.

You don't have to be an animal communicator to connect.

You can connect to the part of you that knows you better than anyone else on this planet, your true self.

I will go into more depths on this subject and how you can experience this yourself, if you're not aware already in a future episode but until then . . .

Be kind, be gentle with yourself and have faith in your own abilities as you are an amazing being.

Until next time.

Regards Ronnie

18 Oct 2020Trailer: Meeting the Fjords00:02:14

Send us a text

A short trailer: A day I spent working with a herd of fjord horses and their lovely owner Gilly.

It was a pleasure meeting these beautiful creatures and it was my first time meeting a fjord in my role as a communicator.

I found them to be very gentle and open horses,  who matched their owners energy,  in a loving a nurturing way.

I’m forever grateful to all the  people, who invite me along to see their beautiful horses.

Each one of them are special and just as important as the next.

I never have any expectations as to what will happen on the day, although I sometimes have a feeling,  which can become apparent on arrival or during the visit.

Sometimes I find myself taken by surprise, in the most  amazing ways.

At times it can be very emotional, for the owners (as well as myself)  depending on the reason for a visit but I try to suppress my own emotions on these occasions  until after I’ve left.

For me it’s an honour to work with people and the animals they love, in both the good and more difficult times.

To  give peace  of mind, hopefully, at a time when it’s needed, is a part of the work I do and however hard, it’s important for the client and the horse to do this with empathy and dignity, as this is something we would all hope for.

There is one thing for sure, working with horses will never boring.

They teach you so much about life and in particular your own life.

I personally find the more you observe and interact with horses, the more reflective you are of your own life, in a positive way.

I hope you enjoy this trailer and my future podcast.

Hello, my name is Ronnie and this is a short introduction on why I chose to work with horses/animals.

First I will explain a little about myself and the reasons that set me on my path, as an animal communicator.

I would love to say to you that I have been doing this sort of work all my life but it would be untrue.

I am in fact a late starter, as far as animal communication is concerned (I started on my spiritual path many years ago, which led me onto practising as a medium) but it was the arrival of my new mare in May 2005, that started me on this particular journey.

This is my first recording with Pat and she has a wealth of knowledge in her field, this episode only scratches the surface.

(For those of you with sensitive hearing, this podcast is copied from a live stream interview, which I am in the process of editing. It is not the best in sound quality, so I apologies beforehand)

A little introduction:
Horses are Pat Cleveland’s life, her muses and teachers.
The power of natural balance is magic to trainers, riders and most importantly horses.

Pat started the Balanced Horse Project to document how balance solved her horse’s problems.

A series of rabbit holes lead to the influence of birth trauma developed the crooked horse’s behaviour, physical limitations and learning.

She studied with the Resonant Science Foundation, the Berkley Psychic Institute, Cherokee Shaman, Holistic Vet, Historical symbols, earned certifications in 12 holistic therapies, and is recognised as a Universal Energetic.

People bring horses to her in Dothan Alabama where horses unwind their bodies and restore body symmetry.

Whether a Mustang or purebred, once liberated from fear and pain, they go on to live better as natural sustainable horses.

International Consulting, classes and discussions on Zoom, clinics and workshops and travel worldwide.

In this second interview with Pat her husband Frank will be joining us in the live.

I'm Frank Fraser the other half of the Balanced Horse Project.

I'm married to the brilliant Patricia Cleveland and have been in the horse business on and off for 40 years: in the breeding quarter horses and world class Thoroughbreds.

I worked for Winfield farms, home of Northern Dancer, I was in charge of the last filly in his direct bloodline. Learning from my Uncle about rising and training Tennessee walkers while growing up in Alabama when I was growing up introduced me to quarter horses.

I went to College in Sudbury Ontario and fell in love with the people and country. I  made a young man's living in Horse world involved with the pleasure riding trails in Canada, that's how Pat and I came to know each other .

She introduced he holistic side of horsemanship. I have been fully invested  in Pat's endeavours and traveling around the world.

Pat and I work together to bring insight about the way horses work and try to communicate with people.

Pat and I have a small biodynamic farm in Southern Alabama, where people come with their problem horses.

They leave with new insight of Horsemanship.

14 Apr 2021Interview with Kathy Price - Point of Balance01:24:03

Send us a text

Interview with Kathy evolved after I contacted her about three weeks prior.
It was one of those intuitive moments, when I felt I needed to contact her and share some information but at the time I had no idea what this would be.
As our conversation progressed it was apparent, on many levels.

Since 2002 I have been studying, experiencing and researching the world of energetic modalities together with the associated quantum physics, psychology and philosophy.
The aim of my work is to help the system that I’m working with, be it a person or animal, to find its own unique Point of Balance and so help it bring itself back into health and vitality on every level – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

I am not in anyway trying to convince anyone that I’ve have all the answers or that what I do is”better” than anyone else. My aim is to keep exploring and experiencing and passing on what I learn.I come from a place of science gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology. The scientific outlook will always be part of me along with a sceptical, analytical mindset which questions everything!

Everything exists before science discovers it, so from my work and experiences of the last 17 years which modern science cannot yet fully explain, I simply state “My Experience is my Truth!”
For the last 30 years I have lived and worked alongside my husband and raised our two now adult children on our family livestock farm situated in Mid-Wales.

“Livestock farming by its very essence helps keeps you grounded. Working on the land you become aware and have to be in tune to the rhythms of Mother Nature. I am very grateful to be living and and working here surrounded by the animals and nature.”
In 2009 a discovery of a 4500 year old ceremonial circle in one of the fields on the farm confirmed to me that the valley has been considered a very special place for millennia. I attribute much of the progress and evolution of my work to being lucky enough to live in such a wonderful environment.

Since the age of 2 horses have been my passion. Growing up in the suburbs of London did nothing to dampen this, but it took another 30 years before in 1992 I owned my first horse a Cleveland Bay x Thoroughbred called Midnight Maiden.
Midnight was the reason that in 2002 I attended the horsemanship clinic that was to be the turning point in my life.

“I went to the clinic with the idea it was going to be all about how to ride my horse. Little did I know!

The only way I can describe what happened over that weekend is that it was a spiritual experience. I came away in a daze feeling as though my brain had been re-wired. My whole perception of the world had changed. Within a week I had discovered and read a book on Reiki and booked my attunement for Reiki level 1. My mad, mind-blowing and amazing journey into the world of healing and energy had begun!”

I worked with Reiki for a few years but then knew I needed to find something else, but what that was I wasn’t quite sure.
I studied Quantum Touch and then in 2009 found the modality Reconnective Healing. I loved this work and worked as a Reconnective Healing Practitioner for several years, but again there was a need in me to evolve.

This led in 2017 to me stepping into what I feel is the real, authentic me

23 Apr 2021Time Out - Time To Relax00:11:13

Send us a text

A short meditation I recorded one morning, while I was with my horse.

It was cold and there was a gentle breeze but the sun was shining so I sat down with my flask of tea and this just flowed and I decided to record it at the same time.

The words carry a vibration, which I have been told by a few people, that it helped them relax, so I decided to add it to my podcast.

Nothing ventured, nothing gained and if it helps one person feel less tense, then that is a bonus.
Have a wonderful day!

An interview with three, very different people (with a similar work ethos) who all have something in common . . . Horses.

I am so excited about this interview! Three individuals that have never met before but have recently been introduced to each other through a podcasts I had previously done.

It goes without saying (as you will hopefully come to realise in this episode) they have more in common than just horses.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this enlightening episode.

It was so nice to chat with Bern and all though he was a little nervous to start with (this was recorded on a live stream) the conversation flowed once we got going.

Even though the quality may not be perfect (due to a few technical issues) I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did and the beauty of editing (even if it does take me hours and hours lol) is I get to hear it as a listener, which means I get to hear the parts I may have missed, so sit back, relax and enjoy, a chat with Bern.

28 Jun 2021Interview with June Wolfe - Ethical Horse Riding Holidays - Andalucia01:02:20

Send us a text

I really enjoyed this episode with June and even though times have been very hard for the family because of the nature of their business and COVID restrictions in and out of the country, she still maintains a sense of humour and a positive outlook but then as she says in the interview . . . "We have to survive, for ourselves and the animals"

One of their delightful rescue animals is a parrot, who you will most definitely hear throughout this podcast, so I'm pre-warning you . . .lol

I hope you enjoy this episode.

A little background into June's story:

Cortijo Los Lobos is owned and run exclusively by ourselves, Clive and June, meaning you are guaranteed a personal service –  guest happiness is our priority.

We moved to our lovely old farmhouse in the spring of 2000 with our  three young children. The farmhouse was named after our surname Wolfe, Cortijo Los Lobos means "Farmhouse of Wolves".

Within two weeks we had acquired our first horse, Polly, after hearing that she desperately needed a home.

That was the start of our horse rescue journey, within two years our herd had grown to six and within two more years we had 15 horses to care for, as well as abandoned cats and dogs, a couple of goats, sheep and chickens.

We have rehabilitated and trained our horses using positive reinforcement, they are all bitless and barefoot and are much loved family pets who will be with us until the day they die. As the herd ages, as well as making our rides walk only, we have moved into a lot more ground based work, hosting courses such as clicker training and agility, hoof trimming, equine massage, all designed to benefit both horses and guests, so that when the day eventually comes, that all our horses are too old to ride, we can still provide horse holidays to interest guests, even taking a horse for a walk in hand is a fun thing to do. We have been accepted by the Non Ridden Equine Association. This means that we also promote non ridden horse activities.

24 Jul 2021Interview with Patrick Sullivan - Gamilah Unbridled Ride across America00:24:22

Send us a text

I hope you enjoy this episode with Patrick as much as I did taking part in it (even when we had a slight tec hitch - connection)

It was still great to chat with an amazing guy who speaks from and with the heart.

Apart from this being the shortest podcast interview I've ever done (excluding the ones on my own) I can honestly say I don't think I've mentioned the word "wow" quite as often as I have in this one with Patrick. . . lol

This conversation will continue at some point in the future but for know . . . sit back, put your feet up and enjoy!

A Little Background:
Patrick Sullivan and Gamilah (one of his horses) are traveling from California to Kentucky, riding completely at Liberty, 100% bridleless, while primarily bareback.
Done all in the name of charity and liberty, giving back to people and horses along the way.

THE JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME: Patrick Sullivan’s pursuit of Liberty!
Gami, Hal, and I will continue to explore and evolve what defines our relationship. Together, we will build on what we have previously learned and developed from our time spent practicing Liberty; as we set off on this 2,500 mile journey across the country riding the entire journey bridleless, completely at liberty!
Within each state we will be visiting various horse rescues, farms, and charitable organizations to give back in the name of liberty. All education and work with the horses/people will be FREE of charge to the organizations, and all donations during these events will go towards each individuals non-profit!
At each rescue, we will be spending multiple days with their horses and teaching them the art of liberty. Being able to connect with your horse without the use of ropes or control devices. We will document each day and by the end of the clinic, you’ll see incredible results with each of the horses!
With this journey, I strive to reach out to all those who have a passion and love for horses, whether one grew up around them or not. I extend an invitation for those to connect who seek a deeper connection, and bond, with horses to join me: Whether through social media, a message, a word of encouragement, a donation, or by bringing your horse out for a ride to join us for part of the trip. We love stories and we want to hear yours! I wholeheartedly believe in dreaming big, and I strive to keep the fire our respective dreams burning, as we evolve throughout our individual horsemanship journeys, together.
Dedicated to those who Dare to Dream.

29 Jul 2021Interview with Scout's Trail - Scout and Michelle00:50:01

Send us a text

This is an interview I did in at the beginning of april 2021 but I had forgotten to upload it which is a real shame because their story is an amazing life adventure that is very inspirational.

I think you will love it hopefully as much as I do.
So sit back, relax and get ready to be transported to an adventure of a lifetime!

Scout's Story:
My mom and I traveled the world (I have been to 11 countries so far) for about 4 years. On August 15, 2019, after selling our farm on Cape Cod, we hit the road full time.

Feel free to message with any requests.

31 Jul 2021Interview with Justin W Dunn - Horse Trainer and So Much More01:11:23

Send us a text

This is an edited episode of an original interview I did back in February 2021.
While editing I had to listen in real time, so this gave me the opportunity to hear Justin's episode again and it didn't disappoint.

He is a very talented, humble human being and I promise you, if you listen to the whole interview, I am sure it will shine insight not only into a world of horses and humans but how to help and interact with our own being too.

The world is changing  and I for one feel it is for the better but we have some changes to work through and any advice and guidance we can use, to help ourselves as well as each other, is a gift real bonus.

Please take the time to listen because there is one thing for sure, it will definitely make you think.

So sit back, relax and I truly hope you enjoy this episode.

Regards Ronnie

15 Aug 2021Interview with Pat Cleveland - Frank Fraser - Kathy Price (part two)01:14:09

Send us a text

An interview with three, very different people but with a similar work ethos and they all have something in common . . . Horses.

This is my second interview with Pat, Frank and Kathy  (I've interviewed them separately on a few occasions)

This episode touches on the work that Pat did with Kathy’s horse Teasel.  Bare in mind that Pat is in Alabama USA and Kathy and her horse are in Wales UK and for this reason the results are even more interesting.

But don’t take my word for it, listen for yourself and make your own mind up.

Either way , I usually find their interviews lively occasions and this episode is no exception.

When you get them all together in the same place  (even if it's only a virtual room) there is definitely going to be smiles, laughter and some thought provoking moments.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

I truly hope my listeners enjoy them too and who knows, they may even light a spark within them also.

05 Sep 2021Interview with Bernadette Spillane - Happy Dog Ranch00:59:01

Send us a text

I had the honour of meeting the lovely Bernadette and her husband John, as well as Gray the barn manager and an amazing community when I visited Happy Dog Ranch for the first time back in 2018.

I met some amazing people in my first visit to the states, each of them hold a special place in my heart and Bernadette and her beautiful sanctuary are no exception.

If you ever get the chance I would definitely recommend a visit.

A Little Background.
A non-profit 501C facility offering equine and animal supported educational, vocational and therapeutic programs for people of all ages and backgrounds.

In 2006, John and Bernadette Spillane had a life changing opportunity to move to the property of their dreams. At that time they had one horse Zhum (who actually predicted that they would move) but one horse on 53 acres just wouldn’t do so they started down, as John would say, a slippery slope accumulating just the right amount of equine companions.

They now have 40 including some goats, chickens, alpacas, plus one llama, and two cats.

So, despite the name Happy Dog Ranch, it's really home to a wide variety of lovely, wonderful animals and life has never been better!

10 Oct 2021A Small Step Forward.00:05:10

Send us a text

A small step forward is always a step in the right direction, however small it may seem.

It can have a huge impact on building your confidence and quite literally take you by surprise, depending on where you feel you were the day before.

It's great to have goals and get inspiration from other people but never compare yourself to someone else's achievements.

Your own step forward is just as important as anyone else's and it is always a team effort when you're working alongside your horse.

So have fun and never underestimate any achievement from your horse, as well as yourself.

Interview with Scout and Michelle.
This is my second interview with Scout and her wonderful mother Michelle and as before it was a real pleasure and treat to chat with them both, as well as meet their beautiful horses face to face (sort of!)

An interview with shawna was a real treat.
After following Shawna and Minty's story, her beautiful horse who is no longer with her in body but very much with her in soul.

It was a real pleasure to finally meet her and chat with her about her work as as 'On Target Trainer" (equine clicker training as it's also known)

She is a patient and passionate lady, who wants to show the horse world another way to train positive behaviour, which is so beneficial to all parties concerned.

She does this with compassion for the horse and the rider so that hopefully, the communication and the relationship between the two, goes from strength to strength in a beautiful and more positive way.

So sit back and relax and I hope you enjoy this episode

22 Nov 2021Guidance - Answers Come in Many Forms.00:05:06

Send us a text

Once Question at a Time.
Sometimes when we're asking a question (in fact more often than not) we are actually asking multiple questions and for this reason, even when we receive an answer, it can be hard to understand what it is.

By asking the right question, so thinking about what it is you are asking and stripping it back into parts (what is the priority/outcome that we wish or need to achieve first) we can then hear or see the answer clearly.

At times we may have to respond to the first answer and act accordingly before we can even ask the nest question.

And sometimes . . .  we may no longer need to ask the next question because one answer, can lead to many!

Food for thought:
It is very much the same when I'm working with a client and their horse.

I can only ask one question at a time but the client may have multiple thoughts going through their head,  that it can make it difficult for the horse to answer or to be heard.

I hope this makes sense on some level lol.

Best wishes
Ronnie

27 Nov 2021Interview with Warwick Schiller - International Horse Trainer01:32:32

Send us a text

Interview with Warwick Schiller.
I was so excited for this wonderful opportunity to interview Warwick Schiller.

I’ve been a fan of Warwicks for a while now so when he agreed to do an interview I was beyond excited.

Yes he is a very famous horse trainer, Clinician, coach, podcaster and so much more but my excitement comes from the the knowledge that he shares, from both sides of the coin, about the changes he has made in his life that came from working with the horses but has grown into so much more.

I hope you”ll enjoy this  interview and discover a little bit more about Warwick and his life experiences through his own words.

My intuition didn’t let me down and neither did Warwick.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did making it.

Warwick's Story:
A lifelong equestrian of varying disciplines, Warwick Schiller moved from his home country of Australia in his 20s to the United States in order to pursue his dream of training horses. He focused his competitive efforts on reining, eventually becoming an NRHA (National Reining Horse Association) Reserve World Champion and also representing Australia at the 2010 & 2018 World Equestrian Games.

His unique ability to convey his knowledge to others became apparent when he successfully went on to coach individuals who garnered coveted reining titles such as NRHA World Champions, NRHA Rookie of the Year, Australian Champions, U.S. Champions and a fellow WEG team member.

Warwick is always learning and growing in hope to become the very best horseman he can be. His work revolves around helping those who believe in what he is doing and getting them to join along for the ride. It’s life-long, and passion-driven work. It involves horses and horse-people and community and support… positive support.

A tribe if you will, but one that is focused and has goals and is open to making mistakes and learning from those mistakes together, to become better, for their horses, for their goals and for each other.

Currently, Warwick is focusing on expanding his knowledge by spending more time with other trainers who allow him to ask his pointed questions as he works hard to garner a better understanding of their individual methods and philosophies.

He and Robyn are on an epic journey of their own, once again qualifying for, and competing in, the 2018 World Equestrian Games. Several books are in the near future and a very exciting structured online course of the Principles of Training has been released. Look for him at Horse Expos around the world as a presenter, as a motivational speaker at varying seminars, on Farm & Ranch TV and on Horse and Country T.V.  – he’ll be the one telling a great story, listening closely to the horse, and working his tail off to be a better coach, trainer, husband, dad and person of the world.

Robyn will be right there with him being the talented force of nature she is, and supporting the people surrounding them – all on their own journeys to being the best horse-people they can be.

15 Dec 2021Interview with Patrick Sullivan - (Part Two) A New Venture00:41:20

Send us a text

Interview with Patrick Sullivan.
This will be my second interview with Patrick and It was lovely to catch up with him again and hear all about the amazing journey he's recently completed, with his two beautiful horses Gami and Hall.
We also chatted about his exciting plans for his new venture, which starts in January 2022.

Our first time was just a quick chat as he was still traveling on the road across America at the time but his enthusiasm shined through, as it did on this occasion too.

He's such a genuine, big hearted guy and his passion for all horses (not just his own) is there for all to see.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this interview.
I can promise you one thing for sure . . . Patrick has an overflowing heart that really wants to make a difference but don't take my word for it . . . have a listen for yourself.

Patrick Sullivan and Gamilah have traveled from California to Kentucky, riding completely at Liberty 100% bridleless while primarily bareback.

All in the name of charity and liberty, giving back to people and horses along the way.

18 Dec 2021Interview with Jim Masterson - The Masterson Method Equine Bodywork01:11:50

Send us a text

Interview with Jim Masterson.
I am always very grateful, when someone agrees to take time out of their busy schedule and agrees to do an interview with me and especially with someone they have never met or even know.

I'm particularly pleased to have the chance to chat with Jim because a dear close friend of mine is a Masterson Method Coach and I've had the honour of watching her work and see the difference she makes to the horses she visits.

I'm very grateful that Jim agreed to do an interview with me.
Not only is he a very knowledgeable person, he happens to be very funny too!
I loved spending a few hours chatting with him about his passion, his work.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode, just as much as I did making it and hear a little from the man behind the method.

Jim's Story:
In 1998, while Jim was grooming horses on the U.S. hunter-jumper show circuit, he noticed while watching physical therapists work on horses that the horse exhibited certain subtle changes in behavior that correlated to what the therapists were doing. He learned that if you trust and follow what the horse is telling you as you work on it, the horse’s body will participate in the process of releasing tension. The result is not only an improvement in performance, but also in the trust that develops between the horse and human.

Jim and his team of instructors continue to travel the world teaching horse owners, trainers and therapists The Masterson Method. His goal is to have every horse on the planet have experienced the Bladder Meridian Technique at least once.

27 Dec 2021Interview with Josh Nichol - A Horseman's Pursuit01:10:38

Interview with Josh Nichol - A Horseman's Pursuit
I was very pleased when Josh kindly agreed to do an interview with me.
Josh was recommended by one of my listeners to a previous interview I did, which I am very grateful for.

As the interview progressed, it was very apparent that Josh has a slightly different way of connecting his clients to their horses.

In fact, I found it very hard to concentrate on being an interviewer, as all I wanted to do was sit back in a chair and listen to his explanation on how his work empowers the horse as well as the people he works with.

I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did.
Josh speaks from the heart and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to energy, horses and people.
We only just scratched the surface.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Josh's Story:
Even from his younger years, it was readily apparent to those around him that Josh Nichol had a remarkable gift when it came to interacting with horses. Fortunate enough to have parents that noticed his affinity for the equine early on, much of Josh’s life has been spent developing his understanding and knowledge of horsemanship. Under the guidance of world-class mentors, Josh quickly learned his life’s calling: continually seeking and developing better methods of creating long-lasting relationships with one of God’s most fascinating and beautiful creatures. Driven by a passion for connecting with, and understanding the needs of horses, Josh has created a transformative approach to horsemanship: Relational Horsemanship.

Relational Horsemanship is built on a foundation of forming a deep connection with our horses by striving to understand their needs and empowering them to perform at peak capacity rather than dominating them. Refined over two decades of experience working with clients from across Canada and across multiple disciplines, Josh’s method has rapidly gained an international following among horse owners and equine professionals alike.

Josh’s students now span the globe, with a wide variety of services and training materials ensuring that his Relational Horsemanship method is easily accessible. What began as an interest in spreading a deeper understanding of these incredible creatures has evolved into a rich fountain of knowledge for everyone, from recreational enthusiasts all the way up to Olympic competitors.

Happy New Year! - 2022
Just a quick hello to say happy new year to all my listeners and the amazing guests who thankfully agreed and allowed me to chat with them about horses and life in general.

Without my guests it would not be possible and without my listeners, well as it's a podcast that hopefully speaks for itself . . . lol.

I wish you all the very best and I hope that you continue to support my podcast (by listening) as you have done already.

It means more to me than you will ever know.

Thank you!

15 Jan 2022Equine Communication - My Own Perspective00:35:35

Send us a text

I wanted to share with you an answer to a question that somebody asked me back in May 2020 on a live stream on Facebook.

This was one of the questions that came up and basically they wanted to know if I was aware of my gift, as the lady put it,  If I always knew that I could communicate with animals, communicate with horses and this was my reply.

For this reason, I thought it would be a good share on my podcast.

There was a lot of information I shared.

I was speaking off the cuff, it wasn't rehearsed, I didn't know what was going to come through and hopefully, as you listened to this episode you'll see how it actually works and have a little insight onto animal communication from my own perspective.

I can't talk about anybody else's point of view, so this is from my own perspective.

I hope you enjoyed this episode and if there is any questions, please feel free to drop me a line and I will happily answer them if I can.

So sit back, relax and I hope you enjoy this episode.

Note:
Apologies beforehand for the sound quality but this recording was taken from a live stream that I made on my phone.
So I hope it won't distract you from the essense of this podcast.

It Starts With A Thought.
This podcast is a little explanation into why, for me, it's important to act on any messages that come my way (in whatever form) and to share "pass them on"

This will become apparent as you listen to the episode.

So I hope you enjoy this little "Message" that I'm sharing with you today because as far as my work and my personal life is concerned,  this is what it's all about . . . sharing knowledge, so we can hopefully  learn from each other and be an even better version of ourselves.

Have a wonderful day!
Regards Ronnie

26 Jan 2022Live Interviews - Podcast00:04:47

Send us a text

A Brief Explanation.
A short explanation on why I prefer to do live interviews which I then make into podcasts.

The main reason, is that most of my equipment is set up for live interviews.

So apart from a computer and a mic, I don't have to worry about getting any extra equipment I may need, in order to record a phone interview.

So this is the easier option for me at this time and if somethings works . . . then why change it.

I'm happy and very grateful that I'm able to connect with my guests in this way, so that I can share their passion, skills and life experiences.

Who knows, it may set of a spark within you!

Thank you for all your support and I hope you keep on listening.

Regards Ronnie

Say Yes!
A little impromptu recording I made today and although the sounds of the birds in the background were very beautiful, I decided to leave out the background noise because there was lots of other noises I'm sure you didn't need to hear . . . lol

Have you ever had someone say to you "Practice What You Preach!"
Well I'm certainly doing much more of that lately and especially with the "Say Yes" to most opportunities (even if you change your mind latter) say yes.

Have a wonderful day and I hope you enjoy this very short episode.

A Quiet Moment In The Darkness.
I often record my little short podcasts on my phone when I'm out because they're usually made in the spur of the moment and and my phone is always at hand.

This was one of those times, just as it was getting dark, I was deep in thought after listening to a wonderful soul called Nahshon Cook on one of his live posts that he makes on his fb page.

If you've never heard of Nahshon check out Warwick Schiller's "The Journey On Podcast"
episode: 19 to listen to this amazing young man.

There are so many wonderful people on his podcasts with amazing life stories.
Nahshon Cook is most definitely one of those people.
