Episode 162: In 1975 with the release of JAWS, Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis decided he wanted to make a film that would rival Spielberg's masterpiece, and with the help of director Michael Anderson and actor Richard Harris, they would release ORCA. A movie about the one animal who can defeat Bruce himself. With great use of live footage and practical effects, ORCA looked like the film that could compete, but unfortunately it barely stayed afloat. We venture off the path of the Warrens and hang out with the doll that first popped up in The Conjuring, Annabelle. Cinematographer John Leonetti takes the helm and tries to bring us a solid haunted doll story, but does he succeed? 

A young family gets a very creepy doll and their life is flipped upside down. Weird occurrences, demonic attacks and even MURDER plague this family as the innocent ANNABELLE doll sits silently in the center of it all.

Episode 159: Back in 1990, Tony Scott, Jerry Bruckheimer, Don Simpson and Tom Cruise joined forces once again to give us a movie that seemed very familiar. But this time instead of fighter jets, we got race cars with DAYS OF THUNDER. Production trouble, hot headed producers and a budget that was spent on a lot of other things rather than the movie that was being made turned this movie into a nightmare that ultimately still performed well at the box office. What better time than now to talk about this film then a week out from the release of its sequel. We travel to Romania to explore the origins of Valak, or better know as THE NUN.
