Cocktail or Coffee Table? What do you call it? No matter what you call it we have lots of great tips and measurement and good ideas for you today! If you have a tape measurer it can help you find the perfect coffee table that will work in your home. Measure the top of the seat height, the length of your sofa and the height of your coffee table. A coffee should be about the seat height of your sofa cushions, about 2/3 the length of your sofa. Leave about 12 - 18 inches between a sofa and a coffee table. Did you know that the moniker "coffee table" came about to put coffee table book on... or whatever they called those books at that time! Take a good look at any room that has a coffee table in it, the coffee table just might be the focal point of the room. This is the recipe Anita uses for pumpkin pancakes HERE Yvonne's baked oatmeal is HERE Anita loves making the Lancaster Hotel's red pepper bisque HERE Kelly's pumpkin seed recipe is HERE Kelly love Ina Garten's Spicy turkey meatballs and spaghetti recipe HERE Yvonne's raw apple cake is HERE Anita's herb cheese    1 clove garlic 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened 1 cup butter, softened 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon dried basil 1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed 1/4 teaspoon dried marjoram 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme 1/4 teaspoon pepper Process in food processor or use your immersion blender. Anita's WASSAIL  2 quarts apple juice 2 cups orange juice 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 (3-inch) stick cinnamon 1 teaspoon whole cloves 1 teaspoon whole allspice Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven; bring to a boil. We three have white kitchens. Each one is very different from the other, yet there are certain guiding principles when deigning & decorating a white kitchen that we agree on ~ well, for the most part anyway! Top tip - remember white is white is not white... Not all whites are really WHITE, so not all whites look great together. Chose hard surfaces first, tile, countertops, then choose paint. Much easier to find a paint to go with those other choices than the other way around. Warm up a white kitchen with wood tones. Too much stark white can read sterile in a bad way. Sterile stuff in kicthen is nice, but not sterile in feel. Resist the urge to decorate above the cabinets. If at all possible have cabinets or crown moulding go all the way to the ceiling. Add texture & interest with a planked wall or ceiling like Kelly has done. White is a classic and will always be in style for kitchen design. Have a look at our white kitchens... You can find out more HERE Anita's crushing on this recipe for gluten free naan bread GLUTEN FREE GARLIC NANN 2 ¼ t Active dry yeast 1 cup warm water (100 degrees) ¼ cup maple syrup 1 large egg, beaten 1 t salt 1 ¾ cassava flour 1 ¼ cup almond flour 1 cup arrowroot flour 1/3 cup minced garlic Butter for garnish ½ c chopped cilantro for garnish • In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water. Let sit in warm area (about 80 degrees) about 5 to 10 minutes. Stir in maple syrup, egg, salt, both flours, and arrowroot until a soft dough forms. Place dough in a bowl, cover and place in a warm place (on top of the referigerator works) for about an hour. Using your hands, shape dough into a long rectangle and cut into 12 equal portions, duing with cassava flour as necessary. • Lay one portion of dough o a sheet of parchment paper, sprinklw with a teaspoon of garlic, and cover with another sheet of parchment. Using a rolling pin, roll dough into an oval shape about ¼ inch thick. Place skiller over medium-high heat. Add olive oil. Remove top layer of parchment and, place your hand under bottom layer of parchment, flip dough onto skillet, remove parchment and cook until bottom is golden and blackened in spots, about 4 minutes. Flip naan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes more, until lightly browned and blistered. Remove naan from pan, brush with butter, sprinkle with cilantro, and serve warm. Take a good critical look at your foundational plants around your home. Are they groomed? Are they overgrown? Taking care of the shrubs and plants around our homes makes a huge difference.
