Our Holiday Story (Hallmark Channel - 2024)
00:44:19
Chris shows up at his girlfriend Joanna's parents' house expecting to meet Joanna, but Joanna is running late. A couple of hours late, in fact. He's like, "I'll just wait on you." She's like, "Oh, they're definitely watching you from the window, so you're gonna have to go in." Just as Joanna is about to give him a piece of advice that starts with "Don't ask them about…," her phone dies.
They invite Chris in to help decorate for their Christmas party. It's stepmom Nell and Dad Dave. Dave makes fun jokes like, "We might poison you with nuts." They sit down to get to know each other a little bit, and Chris asks a question: "How did you two meet?" They light up. It was 10 years ago to the date. He gets on this train full of people in ugly Christmas sweaters. Apparently, it's the inaugural ugly Christmas sweater convention. He finds the one person not wearing a Christmas sweater and sits across from her. It's Nell. He says chit-chat is hard, and she doesn't immediately tell him to get lost. She's a keeper. They begin to hit it off. The train stops due to ice, and he sees a sign for Fredo's Fruitcake, which she also happens to love. Two people who love fruitcake on the same train! He's like, "You know what, I’m gonna go get some." As he's in the store, the train begins to move. It leaves him behind! To make matters worse, they both remember each other's names incorrectly, with no way to contact each other!
Dave is talking to his daughter and says, "I just hope that fate brings us back together." But he's a busy bee. Dave is a woodworker who is planning the town’s Christmas festival. He gets a letter from the city and has to call a woman named Eleanor. Who could that be?! Turns out she's against the festival because it isn’t good budget-wise, so the phone conversation does not go well.
The next day, Dave and his daughter are walking around town, and she goes to pick up some coffee. Suddenly, Dave and Nell bump into one another! They realize that they both had the names wrong, and they're flirting hard! But then Dave gets an SOS text from his daughter. He calls, but there's no answer. So he's like, "I gotta go make sure she's okay, don't move!" Before he gets back, Nell has to move her car to avoid getting a parking ticket. Womp womp.
Joanna can't believe that he didn't get her number again! So, she posts a "Missed Connection" on his behalf. Believe it or not, they bump into each other again! This time, they exchange numbers immediately! Well, they try. He doesn't have his phone, so he tries committing it to memory but can't because people on the street are just yelling out numbers. And she puts his number in her phone but ends up dropping it before she can save it!
Wouldn't you know it, she ends up finding "his" missed connection. So she messages him, and Joanna gets it and asks her out on a date on behalf of Dave. So she comes over for his Christmas party, and they are having a great time. They're slow dancing when suddenly it all clicks for Nell—Dave is the David she's been arguing with about the Christmas festival. So she leaves and ghosts him!
Dave and Joanna are so confused, but it all becomes clear to Joanna when she joins Dave for a meeting about the festival and sees Nell. So she convinces him to leave. She decides to try to make this work by getting Nell to meet with her and tell her that she knows who she is, but her dad still doesn't. So Joanna comes up with a plan to help Nell tell David the truth. She shows up at his farm with a fruitcake, and he gives her a tour of the festival. She begins to realize how much work he's been putting into this festival and that maybe it's not an entire waste of resources.
She finally comes clean about who she is, but before she can, he tells her that he really likes her. The moment is so romantic, and she can't find it in herself to tell him the whole truth.
Oh hey, back in the present, Joanna finally shows up after a bunch of travel hurdles. They don't quite get off to a strong start. He tells her that he loves her, and she creams him with icing and runs off. He decides he should just leave.
Back in the past, Nell is about to tell Dave the truth, but he ends up bashing "Eleanor" before she can. Then the fire marshal shows up and shuts the festival down. She feels so bad, so she finally goes to tell him the truth. She starts by saying how much she likes him and how great he makes her feel. Just as she's about to say who she is, the fire marshal comes back in and is like, "GREAT NEWS, you pass!" and hands Eleanor the report, and it all becomes clear to David. Dave is really mad. She says she was scared to tell him the truth because what if David and Eleanor can't be together? "I just want to be Dave and Nell." He's like, "Well, maybe we aren't meant to be," and leaves.
Back in present day, Joanna texts Chris, "I love you," and her parents encourage her to go get him. No regrets.
Back to the story that matters, Eleanor goes to find David and tell him that she was wrong and that she wants him to be a part of the magic he's created. He tells her that he is sorry for what he said; he doesn't find her unlikable at all. She says, "You're my fate." He says, "We belong." And they kiss in front of Santa in an early running for kiss of the season.
Back to present day, Chris runs to make it back to the festival, and Joanna is so happy to see him come back. They both say they love each other and THEY KISS. Chris' parents come to spend Christmas as one big happy family, and they immediately ask Nell and Dave, "How'd you two meet?"

He plays this audio and you hear little Evelyn talking about the pond and then you hear her tell colt that he’s tried it to. Kat takes that to make Colton can’t time travel. The movie kicks off with a great rendition of Deck the Halls that might be the new theme song for Deck the Hallmark. Cut to a woman driving in a car, giving herself a pep talk and talking to herself and her baby, whom she is pregnant with. Suddenly, she feels a sharp pain, drives into a town, and runs into a diner, saying she thinks she's going into labor but that the snow is really coming down. Luckily, there’s a doctor in the diner who has personally delivered over 100 babies! The birth is successful, and the baby is healthy. She names her Evie Lang. The group takes a picture to celebrate—there’s a doctor, a police officer, a lawyer, and some other fancy folks. The doctor gives the baby a little checkup and realizes the baby may have an abdominal blockage, so they all work together to get the baby to the hospital. They save the baby’s life, take up a collection to pay the hospital bill, and send them on their way.
Cut to the present day, when the mother, Elizabeth Lane, is giving a speech about the success of her skincare brand, Lane Cosmetics. Evie is now an adult, and her mom brings her up on stage to celebrate the success of women. Evie is clearly uncomfortable being on stage. She’s in fashion but isn’t having much success. Her mom tells her she’s been spoiled and needs to learn how to do something hard. So she gives her the Polaroid of the people who helped her on the night she was born. Her mom explains that Evie has to go and find these people and grant Christmas wishes to each of them. If she fails this mission, she’ll lose her trust fund.
So, Evie heads back to the town and is disappointed by the absolutely massive inn she has to stay in. She goes by the name of Mary so as not to give herself away. She decides to go and ask the only attorney in town for help finding the people in this picture. He says, “I could do that, but why would I?” She says she wants to give them an award. He replies, “That’s not what this town is all about, especially dressed like that.” So, she goes to find an outfit that’s a bit more low-key. They go and grab a bite to eat, and the diner owner tells them the story of what happened that night.
Kyle agrees to help her find the people, but they’re going to go at his pace. Up first is Roy, and Evie ends up being voluntold to be the elf in the town square. The diner owner quickly figures out who she is, and she comes clean. She asks what his wish is. At first, he’s hesitant but tells her to let him think on it. She is blown away by how nice everyone in this town is and realizes that’s going to make it hard for her to finish this project quickly.
The next day, she ends up backing out and almost hitting a police car. Turns out, that cop is someone she needs to repay, but she doesn’t want to reveal her true identity, so she ends up getting arrested. Evie is blown away by the kindness and doesn’t know how she’s going to repay them. She finds out that someone has been this town’s Secret Santa—paying hospital bills, etc., for a long time. She calls her mom, and her mom explains that she tried to repay everyone many moons ago but couldn’t do it. So, good luck, kid. It’s just your trust fund at risk.
The pressure is mounting, and what better way to deal with said pressure than by ice skating with Kyle? She decides to tell him the truth about who she is, and Kyle’s like, “Oh, yeah, I know.” But he was unaware that she was doing this just to make sure she didn’t lose her trust fund. You can tell he’s like, “Oh, boo hoo to you,” but they continue their quest, and he continues to just watch her from afar.
The diner owner is impressed by Evie, and he calls Elizabeth to encourage her to come and see all the good that Evie has been doing in the town. So, Elizabeth comes, and she’s so proud of Evie. She has done so much good. She finds out that Kyle’s dad was the one who took the picture, so she has to make his wish come true.
They have a birthday party at the diner for Evie, and she tells her mom she wants to do more of this kind of stuff with her trust fund. She asks Kyle what he wants, and he says, “I want you,” and they kiss. Everyone takes one more picture together.

Elizabeth is about to go on the Rosemary's podcast to talk about her new curriculum, but she's going to be going up against a school administrator. The school administrator is very skeptical that this curriculum could serve anything large than a one room classroom and this makes Elizabeth very upset. The next day, Randall Rockwell's brother comes to town with bad news - Rosemary's radio show is being beat out about the Moo Minute. He says they need to figure out something good ASAP or risk being pulled. So she decides she's going to move her play to the radio...tomorrow! The cattleman's council meets to hear Allie out about the salmon situation but they're not interested. One fella in particular is very much against any changes and Allie recognizes his boots as the guy she saw in the woods that one day. She is saddened by the politics of it all. Same girl. Same. Nathan & Bill interview Edie about her uncle who may have been in with the Garrison Gang - she knows nothing of it. The cast is excited about the switch to radio but all the boys get sick. What are they to do?!?! GIRLS TRIPPPPP...to the radio. The ladies are going to be every roll. IT's a big deal. The play is a smash success. Elizabeth then gets some letters of ecnouragement from teachers who are pro-project based learning. She shows those images to Fiona who is very encoruaged. Maybe she don't need a man afterall. Edie tells Lucas the truth about the cattleman's council and how they're all in debt to that big bad guy, so they can't vote against him. Elizabeth goes back on the radio to read letters and talk more about teaching in unique ways and the people love it.

Allie is in her emo era. Everything is dying!!! Speaking of dying, Elizabeth may be dying. She's getting really sick, which includes a dream sequence where Nathan saves her life. The nuts business is being kicked out of Lucas' office. Fiona is helping Rosemary with radio stuff, including the idea of having the governor debate some children. He reluctantly agrees. Allie decides to hang out with Oliver but only to make Wyatt jealous. Bill is shocked to find out that Hot Honey is in town. They studied forensics together years ago, and the sparks are flying. Sick Elizabeth ogles Nathan and asks him to put on his "surge." Allie and Oliver go out and conduct tests for the stream because apparently, the salmon aren't spawning. On their walk back, they see cattle tracks. Then they have to hide in the woods because some bad guys are riding around. Bill and eagle-eyed McGill go to question a guy named Sonny about the gold coins and the train robbery. Elizabeth keeps having fantasies about Nathan as if he's a piece of meat. The radio show happens, and Allie brings him the cold hard facts about the salmon problem. There's a whole storyline about Joseph trying to get his daughter into a school without talking to Minnie first. They work through it. Allie tells Oliver about the radio show, and he's impressed by her and her cupcakes. Elizabeth is starting to feel better, and Fiona encourages her to publish her curriculum about project-based learning. The episode ends with Nathan having a steamy dream about Elizabeth and waking up to the dog licking him.

More flags. More royal music. It’s Reluctant Royal time, baby! Johnny is under a car, working his magic, muscles bulging. His girlfriend shows up to have it out with him and find out if he’s ready to take their relationship to the next level. He is not, so she breaks up with him. But then her car won’t start. Johnny works his magic, and off she goes. After work, he heads to the bar, where he’s selling his juice. The bartender isn’t thrilled to be selling juice, but it’s Johnny! Who can say no to Johnny?!
Cut to a palace where Prudence is helping keep things running smoothly. She goes to talk to the Duke, who is wanting to retire but has no one to take his place. That is, until Prudence discovers that he has a long-lost son.
So, she shows up to talk to that son. It’s Johnny. She arrives in the middle of his karaoke performance and tells him that his father, the Duke, would like to meet him. He’s not interested until she talks to his mom, who never really told him about his father. She encourages him to go and meet him, and so off he goes. Prudence is surprised when he shows up and begins to notice that he’s a bit rough around the edges. He won’t even change his clothes to abide by the dress code.
They meet, and you can tell they’re related because they both touch their hair when they’re uncomfortable. Johnny tells the Duke that he doesn’t want any money, he just wants to know why he left. This does not go well, so Johnny leaves and heads to a bar. Prudence tracks him down to try to convince him to stay. They agree to let darts decide his fate. Obviously, she wins, so back to the palace he goes.
He starts hanging out with Prudence, riding bikes, getting to know more about the palace, his father, and learning more about her. They ride horses, he makes juice, and he’s actually starting to enjoy himself. It’s time for his first royal fancy dinner. He has a cousin that he really dislikes. So, when he stands up and tells the Duke that he’s excited to take his spot, Johnny stands up and tells his dad that he’s had a change of heart—he’s in. His dad is thrilled.
He’s feeling a bit stressed, so he goes to work on a car. His dad comes out to join him, and they chat. This becomes a nightly occurrence. The next day, Prudence teaches him how to slow dance, and they almost kiss.
He finally has a heart-to-heart with his dad. He finds out that he never received the letter that Johnny’s mom sent telling him about Johnny. And she never got his letters. I guess his dad was monitoring the mail. It’s a sweet moment, and the next day they go for a ride in the car that Johnny fixed. Johnny takes his dad to his juice operation and invites them all to the royal dance.
Everything is going great until the cousin brings some shocking news: turns out Johnny’s right to the throne is illegitimate because Johnny was born after the marriage to Johnny’s mom was annulled. Johnny says, “Well, at least I got to meet my dad.” He goes to leave, and Prudence tries to stop him, but he leaves.
Prudence isn’t going to give up so easily and thinks she’s found something. She goes to make sure Johnny comes to the ball, where his mom is waiting for him. She announces that the annulment certificate isn’t authentic. The Duke is left-handed, and his signature leaves a smudge. This one doesn’t have a smudge, so it’s not his signature. In fact, the Duke and Johnny’s mom are probably still married! The cousin is furious and leaves.
Johnny and the Duke hug. Johnny gives a speech, and then he slow-dances with Prudence as everyone watches. They go outside, kiss—BIG OL' HONKIN’ ONES—and then run away. The next day, Johnny and Prudence are hanging out by the horses. Dad comes in and lets them know that one of Johnny’s other cousins, Desmond, is getting married, and they’re going to give him a horse. Johnny still has much to learn about his family tree.

Following Yonder Star (Hallmark Channel - 2024) ft. Doug Jones
00:47:52
Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH
Abby Marshall is a famous actor on a show called Guiding Grace. She seems to really resent her character, Gabriella, because everyone only knows her as that role. The show has been canceled, and Abby’s ex-husband—who also played her husband on Guiding Grace—is getting married and expecting a baby. She's shocked because she thought he didn’t want kids.
Right after this, she loses it on a store clerk who keeps calling her "Gabriella" and refuses to be understanding about an ornament situation. This causes quite a crowd to form, including many people recording the incident. It goes viral, painting her in a bad light.
Abby decides she just wants to leave LA, so she quickly books a room at a resort. But there’s a mix-up with the booking... the mix-up being that Abby booked the wrong year. The concierge suggests a B&B nearby that has one room available.
So, she shows up and it’s immediately not what she was expecting. The guy running the B&B, Nick, is very awkward because he recognizes her. He explains that his late wife was a huge fan of hers.
The townspeople are buzzing that Abby is staying there—not because they like her, but because she just went viral for being a DIVAAAAAA.
Abby ends up helping with the town Christmas pageant that Nick is directing. His wife used to direct it before she passed, and he’s keeping her legacy alive. Nick’s daughter is even in the play and is cute as can be.
There are some prayers and mentions of God, just to remind us that this is a Dayspring movie.
Zoey is Nick’s sister-in-law, and she’s very concerned about Nick being into Abby and about Abby hanging out with him. Nick’s like, “Shove off. It’s fine.”
Nick and Abby have a romantic evening together, including a carriage ride through the woods, some hot chocolate, and some star-gazing. What’s not to love?
It’s the final dress rehearsal, and Abby is in her element. She was born to direct!
There's a Christmas masquerade ball (because that’s something that definitely happens somewhere, right?). Abby tries to stay anonymous but is called out by a rude townsperson named Mia. Abby stands up for herself—this time, it isn’t recorded. Nick and Abby slow dance to a Jennifer Hudson song. Abby tells Nick that she’s having such a good time and wants to stay through the New Year. She has to go back to LA for filming after that.
They try to end the night with a kiss, but they’re interrupted THREE separate times! First, Oliver calls Abby to tell her she needs to come in for a screen test. The network is nervous about all the bad press. Abby doesn’t want to let the kids down and leave immediately, but her career is on the line.
The media is tipped off, and they show up at the pageant for charity. Nick and Zoey misunderstand and think Abby tipped off the press. Nick is confused about whether Abby is his friend or just using him for good publicity.
The pageant goes off without a hitch. The kid forgets her lines, and Abby jumps on stage to help her “remember them.” She does so without stealing the spotlight.
Abby wants to stop playing the perfect wife and mom and instead BE an everyday wife and mom. Abby and Nick kiss as the star shines in the night sky.

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH
Baby Jack is back and better than ever, out there throwing the baseball with Nathan. It's almost as if the ordeal of diabetes is behind them—her words, not mine. Graduation is quickly approaching for the first time in 12 seasons. Nathan and Elizabeth are as in love as ever, matching outfits and all.
Rosemary is talking to Bill about how she isn't going to publish this story without knowing where the gold is. She suggests interviewing Edie—maybe she'll open up more about what she knows.
Nathan is talking to Oliver and gives him a form stating that he'll be stationed in Fort McNeil after he graduates. Oliver doesn't seem thrilled.
Rosemary goes to talk to Edie and notices a map behind her. Edie tells Rosemary that her uncle drew it. Silly uncle, always drawing maps.
The kids all present their project-based learning projects in front of parents, and Lucas is impressed. He tells Elizabeth he's going to talk to the district about implementing this at other schools.
Elizabeth gets a letter from her grandma, telling her that Cape Fullerton has great doctors and essentially encouraging her to move for the sake of Baby Jack. But Baby Jack is fine. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about.
Lucas and Edie are playing cards, talking about her uncle, and they decide that maybe they should try to find the gold coins and return them to their owners.
Bill, Rosemary, and Nathan are looking at the map when they suddenly notice that the well is GIANT on it. Maybe it's a clue. Maybe this map is actually a treasure map!
Oliver fails his final exam on purpose because he doesn't want to leave Hope Valley. Elizabeth goes to talk to him, and then they play tag.
Edie and Lucas decide to go dig at the well when Rosemary, Nathan, and Bill show up too. They all start digging together and find a chest full of coins!
They go back to the office to discuss. When Edie realizes the map is a treasure map, she figures there might be a secret message from her uncle. She holds it up to a candle, and a message appears. He explains how he found the gold and used it to pay for Edie's law school. He says the rest of the gold is hers too.
There's a sweet storyline about the townsfolk rallying around Angela and Minnie, which is nice.
It's graduation, and since it's being held at the saloon, there's a dance afterward. Lucas tells Elizabeth that the school board is interested in hearing more about the curriculum, but she's not sure about leaving Baby Jack right now.
The season looks to be ending peacefully until late that night when Elizabeth notices Baby Jack lying motionless on the couch. She screams for help. Faith rushes over and says, "We got a bad batch." She tells Elizabeth that maybe Cape Fullerton would be best for Baby Jack after all. So they hop in a car, and she gives Rosemary a note to give to Nathan.
Nathan and Allie go after them, honking the horn. They all get in the car, and Nathan tells Elizabeth that wherever she goes, he goes—and then they kiss.

These parents are downstairs arguing about where the angel is that's supposed to go on top of the tree. Their young son, Liam, overhears them. He decides to write a letter to Santa. He comes downstairs and tells his parents about the letter and we get a lot of info - he's in the 6th grade so his dad is concerned he's still writing to Santa. They moved to this town 3 months ago but his parents are still surprised to find out he made a friend. For some reason, Liam lies and says Gibby has cancer. Needless to say, Liam is a bit awkard and we also find out that he has dyslexia. The next day at school, he is captivated by his crush Emma who even stands up for him when kids make fun of his dyslexia. After school, he goes to drop off his letter to santa but accidentally misspells "Santa" as "Satan". Next thing you know, Satan shows up in the middle of the night. Liam still believes he is Santa despite the fact that he doesn't look like Santa and he has devil horns. Satan figures out what happened and decides to play along and offers to grant Liam three wishes. Not sure what to wish for, Liam wishes that Emma would give him a chance. At school, he notices that Emma is really staring at him. Satan appears in a mini version and tells him to go shoot his shot. He invites her to the Post Malone concert and she is very excited. Liam tells Gibby about his encounter with "Santa". Gribby is like it has to be a mistake. So Liam confronts Santa and figures out he's Satan and tries to get out of the deal. Satan says that when he makes his final two wishes, which he guarentees Liam will make, then Liam's soul belongs to him. Liam gets home and is greeted by his parents and a child psychologist. His session is interrupted by Gibby and Satan, who take Liam to the concert. With a little help from Satan, Liam is called onto the stage by Post Malone who calls Liam his inspiration. He dances and brings Emma on stage. Afterwards, she kisses him on the cheek! Everything is going great except Gibby is starting to feel a little left out. Later at home, Liam uses his second wish to fix Gibby's teeth and invites Gibby to join his date with Emma at the local Christmas carnival. His parents become incredibly concerned when they overhear the conversation about Satan. So they go and pick him up at the carnival and bring him to the good doctors clinic. Satan tries to make Liam use up his third wish by showing him images of Gibby and Emma apparently enjoying the carnival without him but he's not falling for it. His parents then see a video of Liam at the Post Malone concert and they realize that he wasn't lying to them afterall. Liam locks himself in his room and facetimes Gibby and yells at him for hanging out with Emma and tells him that he's the one who fixed his teeth. Liam then overhears his parents aguing about the death of his brother Spencer. Liam, fearing that his parents are going to call it quits, goes to the hotel that Satan is staying at and wishes that his parents would stay together and be happy. It immediately works and his parents have a real heart to heart. But now knowing that he's going to hell, Liam decides to give into bad. He's ruthlessly mean to everyone. Emma tells him he's being a jerk and he begins to feel bad. Meanwhile, in Hell, we find out that Satan is in fact not Satan, but just a low level demon, who has failed his trial to become a full demon: by granting two unselfish wishes, he has rendered the deal for Liam's soul invalid and is banished from hell forever. Satan visits Liam and tells him about the deal's cancellation, and Liam figures out that he is not the real Satan. Before leaving, Satan confesses how much he has come to like him and explains that the third wish was negated because Bill and Molly made up on their own, so he used the contents of Liam's original letter to fulfill a third and final wish. Now wanting to use his powers to help others, Satan takes the form of an angelic dove and flies away.

Mia is driving the struggle bus. Chips in bed. Toothpaste barely there. Bringing store-bought cookies to work. It's tough out there. She is a webpage editor for the Seattle Tourism Board, and she’s just working so hard, as webpage editors for tourism boards do.
She runs home in the rain and finds a dog stuck in the fence. She frees the dog, and the dog follows her home. She reluctantly invites the dog in, and they eat dinner together. The next day, she goes to the shelter to check if the dog has a microchip. The owner, Max, is not helpful, so she leaves—but her dog, who she names Russell, takes a liking to one of the dogs at the shelter.
She takes Russell to the dog park, and Russell sees that other dog there. They start playing, and Mia records a video of them. The video goes viral.
This makes Max really upset. But Mia asks Max if she can record more videos. He says no way at first, but then he realizes it’s free publicity, and he needs all the help he can get.
He comes over to check out her place to dog-proof it, and obviously, help decorate for Christmas. They go on a hike together, and everything is going great. But when she tells him he’s being too mean to his dog, he tells her to scram.
He realizes he goofed, and they agree to continue working together for the sake of the dog.
It turns out Mia used to be a doctor. Her parents show up to try to convince her to take over the family practice.
Another curveball: Max’s ex-girlfriend shows up after seeing all the buzz, which makes Mia jealous. But when she finds out that Max’s shelter is going under, they decide to work together and put on a fundraiser for dogs. It’s a smash success but doesn’t raise enough. Luckily, Mia isn’t a doctor anymore, but her parents are, and they have money, so they write a check and save the day.
Mia tells her parents she wants to be a doctor again, but not the kind they expected. She wants to be a vet.
They both realize they miss each other and show up, and they kiss.

Back in 2006, we meet Charlotte and Austin. They're star-crossed lovers in the classic "we're from different worlds" trope. They sneak out of their respective houses, walk through the snow, and make their way to the horse stables for some moody, teenage romance. They kiss, they swear eternal love, they give each other gifts like a necklace and a horse book. Suddenly, Austin's dad shows up like a human snowstorm of bad advice, telling him to just join the Navy. Charlotte is going to forget all about him and he'll be better for it.
Fast-forward to the present, and guess what? Dad was right. They did go their seperate ways. Austin is now running her familes estate. Their grandma died and left her estate and the family businesses to three siblings who couldn’t be more different if they tried: Charlotte, the ambitious New Yorker; Henry, the mafia-adjacent sibling with questionable life choices; and Benedict, the fancy one with a fancy girlfriend and an even fancier fake accent.
Cue Rachel Boston, who rolls up to the estate playing Annie Markel, the estate planner who is giving Mary Poppins. She has a purse that is full of contracts instead of candy and umbrellas, and she’s here to stir the pot. The siblings are suspicious.
But Rachel Boston, being the MVP that she is, wins them over with her expert grief counseling and unsolicited life advice. She's basically the motivational speaker your mom would hire for a family reunion. She's Matt Foley but with a car instead of a van. She also makes them decorate the house because Christmas.
Austin and Charlotte reconnect when he shows her that he’s still a horse-riding, stable-owning stud. He apologizes for ghosting her for the Navy. Charlotte's all, "No hard feelings, because if you hadn't left, I wouldn’t have met my ex and had Cody, who’s the center of my universe."
As the family drama unfolds, the siblings realize the board is about to vote someone in who isn’t them. They work together to figure out how to make sure that doesn't happen. Amidst the chaos, they find old memories—Henry sobs about their parents' tragic death, Benedict uncovers an old engagement ring, and Charlotte suddenly realizes, "Hey, I still love Austin!" after seeing him bond with Cody.
Then, in a classic holiday move, the brothers chop down a Christmas tree together and decorate it while debating what grandma’s wishes might have been. They decide to throw a Moorehouse Christmas gathering, hoping Aunt Eloise has a crystal ball or some insight. Spoiler: she doesn’t.
Things heat up when Austin and Charlotte almost kiss, but an unexpected TUBA performance and a random holiday football touchdown stop them in their tracks. Because romance.
Then—because we needed more drama—Cody goes missing. The entire family, along with Rachel Boston, turns into a snow-covered search party. Henry gets roughed up by a mafia guy who threatens to cut off his fingers. But hey, Cody’s fine, and Rachel Boston finds him by the stables, where he asks her where her angel wings are. She laughs and says they’re hidden, which is both adorable and cryptic.
Cue Benedict’s fancy British fiancée showing up for the Christmas party, because, of course, the plot thickens. Charlotte and Austin decide to try this whole love thing again. Just as things are looking up, Austin gets a job in Maine. He’s got to leave, but Charlotte, being the understanding goddess she is, lets him go.
But Rachel Boston? Oh, she’s got a little holiday magic up her sleeve. She figures out a way for all three siblings to be on the board, with only one seat as chairman. Charlotte gets the coveted spot and rushes to tell Austin before he leaves. She wants to go with him and get Cody enrolled at the school, while she’ll work remotely. They share a kiss in the barn from Ride.
Rachel Boston dips out, her job done, and leaves the family better than she found them, even though that wasn't actually that hard.

Prince Henry is a simple man — he just likes to fence and care for his daughter, Princess Rose, who is going through a tough time. So he decides to take her to an American theme park, Once Upon a Time Land. We meet Lacey, who plays Princess Sweet Pea. When Princess Rose meets her, she immediately becomes a big fan, and Lacey ends up waltzing with Henry. Obviously, at the time, Lacey doesn’t know they are real royalty. But the next day, she is pulled aside at work and told the truth about who they are — and that they want Princess Sweet Pea to show them around the park personally.
She does, and they get to talking. It turns out that Rose is deathly afraid of horses, but with Lacey's help, she’s able to conquer that fear and get on the merry-go-round! Impressed, Henry asks if she would be willing to come back with them to his home and help Rose ride a horse. Apparently, it’s a big tradition for the Order of the Lily ceremony. Lacey agrees.
When she gets there, she is constantly catching strays from Henry's mom and this one guy who really hates her. But none of it matters because she's helping Rose with her fear of horses and spending more time with Henry — and the sparks are flying. They even end up kissing when he shows her his special spot.
The Order of the Lily ceremony arrives, and Rose is really nervous. So Lacey rides alongside her, and it’s a big success. But the guy who hates her is furious and tells Lacey, “If you think you’re going to get Henry to fall in love with you, you’re out of your mind. You’re just a theme park princess.”
Things go from bad to worse when Lacey loses her theme park job after a photo leaks of her in her Princess Sweet Pea costume talking to Henry. Why is that a fireable offense? Who can say? Heartbroken, she decides to leave before the ball.
When she goes to return her costume to her old job, her boss tells her she has one more gig — and sends her out. When she does, it turns out the gig is just Henry and Rose. Henry tells her, “I love you. Please come back.” She does.
Cut to six months later: Henry proposes, Lacey says yes, and they kiss.

Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTH
The movie kicks off with Morgan Freeman narrating about birthday wishes. Cut to Casey, who shows up at Field & Plate for her birthday! As she's waiting for her friend, another family arrives for a birthday celebration, led by the birthday boy himself, Henry. Their tables are side by side, and they end up talking a bit. But then it’s cake time, and Henry’s family realizes they’ve forgotten the cake. Casey overhears this and suggests they blow out her candles together since they’re birthday twins.
Henry gets a call and goes to take it. He assumes it’s a spam call. He tells Casey, “Someone from Dance Your Heart Out just called me—whatever that is.” Casey is shocked: “Dance Your Heart Out?! I’ve always wanted to be on Dance Your Heart Out! Let me be your partner!” He’s not interested, but says, “You should take my spot.” She replies, “That’s not allowed! Please, do this with me!” He insists, “No.” She’s disappointed and walks out, talking to her friend from the Dead Letter Office. She says, “It’s really odd, because my birthday wish was to make it on the show!”
Things get stranger when she receives a call saying she’s inherited a farm. She starts to suspect there’s been a wish swap because inheriting a farm feels like something Henry would wish for. So, she goes to confront him. He admits, “Yeah, I wished for a farm, but a wish swap is ridiculous.” She suggests, “Well, let’s try something. I have one more piece of cake. Let’s do it again and maybe it’ll reverse the wish swap.” It doesn’t work. So, they strike a deal: he’ll work and earn money to get his own farm if he agrees to go with her and compete on Dance Your Heart Out.
From here, things follow a familiar path. They start hanging out—she’s doing farm work, he’s learning to dance. They do their first dance for the show and actually do well. They move on to the next round. For some reason, they get invited to perform at a stand-up club, and it happens.
There’s a document on her computer with her birthday wishes, but she tells him, “You can’t see it.” So, he opens it when she’s not around. Her wishes are: 1. Dance, 2. Comedy, 3.Fall in love
When she opens her laptop and sees the document is open, she knows he’s looked at it, so she goes to give him a piece of her mind. But then he says, “I love you,” and that’s all it takes. Forgiven.
They compete in the finals and win. The movie ends with them dancing in the bed of a pickup truck, and they kiss.

The movie kicks off by really showcasing an acoustic guitar. They couldn’t have more shots of this guitar if they tried. We’re in a bar where a woman is singing a lovely version of Here We Come A-Wassailing. Her name is Maggie, and she announces she’s about to do a show in Chicago and open for Dalton Blake! But then her manager shows up and tells her that the big opening gig… is off. However, he gives her a new phone with a bunch of fancy apps on it. She responds, “Nah, I’ve got my reliable flip phone right here, bud.”
With no reason to stay in Chicago, she hops in her old van and heads home to Ed’s Christmas Tree Farm. It’s a family-run lot, and her parents are thrilled to have her back.
Cut to New York City, where we meet two siblings who clearly don’t like each other and whose dad has just died. Their lawyer is reading the will, and one item in particular catches their attention: a board seat that will go to whichever sibling has a higher net worth at Christmas. He’s Archer, and she’s Piper. They didn’t have a normal childhood or normal Christmases, but they do have a picture of themselves in front of Ed’s Christmas Tree Lot.
Back at the lot, Maggie’s best friend asks her to consider directing the Christmas play.
Archer is staring at the picture and decides to search for the lot. He rents a cabin and heads to the lot. When he arrives, he tells Maggie’s mom he wants to get a tree for the first time as an adult. She encourages him to cut his own and suggests that he go with Maggie. It turns out he runs the company that created all the fancy apps she hates. When she finds out, she turns on him and gets him out of there as quickly as possible. But when she learns her manager can’t book her anywhere, she starts to feel guilty for being mean and goes to apologize. She is shocked to find him putting the Christmas tree outside in a tub of water. When she asks about his family, he avoids the question and gives her baked goods.
Maggie begins to open up about her failing career and how her manager is pushing her to embrace the tech. Archer says, “I think it’s important to have a balance.” Maybe he’s not so bad after all.
The next day, Piper and her kids show up. It turns out they had the same idea. The kids join the Christmas play, and Archer gives them a tutorial on his cool app. Maggie realizes, “Oh, that actually is kind of neat.”
Maggie and her family start inviting Archer and his family to all the fun Christmas activities, and they’re all loving it.
The next day, Archer pitches a new app to Maggie—live-streaming performances—and wants Maggie to be on the test stream. There’s still a lot to figure out, but she’s interested.
Maggie’s dad gets on social media and talks about the app, which goes viral and causes Archer’s net worth to rise. When Piper finds out, she leaves with the kids.
Archer has a heart-to-heart with Maggie, and the sparks are flying, but she gets a call from her old manager and considers going back to work with him. Archer thinks that’s a bad idea and tells her she’s better than that guy.
It’s the night of the big Christmas play, and they’re going to live-stream it on the app. Piper shows up with the kids, and they make up and agree to sit on the board together.
Just as the performance is about to start, the power goes out, but that’s nothing for some small-town charm. They manage to get the power back up, and the show is a hit. The kids sing, and then it’s Maggie’s turn. She crushes it, and the app loves her.
After she gets off stage, Maggie makes up with Archer, and they share a kiss.

It's been five years since the first movie, and Luke is living the dad life—looking much older and forgetting to put out the trash. Stephan has moved on from being a pet psychologist to working with humans as well. He's doing press for his new book, including a radio show with some great sound effects. Taylor is still running Taylor'd Game but is struggling to find a distributor for his new game.
Luke is 42 and juggling fatherhood while still trying to be fire chief. But he's feeling a bit left out by the younger crew.
Speaking of being left out, Taylor is being left out of his building—he's getting evicted.
And speaking of being left out, Stephan's girlfriend feels neglected because she keeps thinking Stephan is going to propose.
The brothers all meet up at their mom's for dinner after accidentally destroying Thomas' Christmas show's set. They're shocked to find out that their mom is dating Pastor Roy, and they decide the best way to deal with it is by spending the holidays at mom's place.
The brothers are called to the principal's office and told that since they broke the set, they have to buy the show. In other words, they have to direct the play. The only problem is that a lot of the kids have dropped out, and they have to build the sets from scratch. They also have to do it while wearing candy cane costumes because they lost at Pictionary.
Taylor finds himself falling for the volunteer helping with the music. Her name is Caroline, and as the brothers point out, she's just a female version of Taylor.
They go on a date to an arcade and have an amazing time. They almost kiss, but they're interrupted by the brothers.
The brothers are trying to get the kids ready for the play, but they're failing. So, they call in Mark LeClerk to help. He's doing great until all the decorations cause a small fire.
The boys initially blame Pastor Roy, but then they realize they've messed up. Taylor realizes he made a mistake with Caroline and goes to make things right. They share a big kiss.
The play happens and is a big hit, despite Stephan getting stuck in the air.
The movie ends with the brothers doing a dance as they celebrate Christmas.

The episode kicks off with some narration, setting up the magic of the holiday season and how we’re all hoping for the perfect Christmas… but it never quite works out that way.
We meet Chuck, who hires a bucket lifter to get his Christmas decorations as high as possible. He doesn’t care what his neighbors think—especially his next-door neighbor, Manny, who seems to have some beef with Chuck, despite their kids dating.
Then there’s Jennifer, who is stressed because her mom, Linda, is dating a younger man and bringing him home for the holidays. Jennifer’s dad, Robert, is coming too, but Linda hasn’t told him about her new boyfriend.
Josh Hill comes home for Christmas before his move to Sydney. He buys his parents tech gadgets, but they don’t use them.
Ted and Marcus arrive to celebrate their engagement with Ted’s family this Christmas, and Ted’s mom is PUMPED.
We also meet two teenagers, Max and Annie. They’re best friends working on a gift drive, but when cool girl Stephanie shows up, Max is clearly smitten, which bums Annie out. She talks to her mom, Lucy, about it, who just offers her a candy cane. Lucy runs a bakery, and a hunk named Cole comes in to do some handiwork. Sparks are flying. Lucy’s sister, Sylvie, is also coming to spend Christmas with her for the first time in years, and Sylvie is a lot.
Josh gets pulled over by Detective Nora Jacobs, whom he recognizes from school. It’s clear they never really got along. She gives him a ticket, much to his surprise.
Meanwhile, Manny and his wife are so excited that their daughter, Gaby, is home for Christmas! She has big news—she may be getting her own cooking show! But the joy doesn’t last long when she finds out her brother, Kevin, is dating their next-door neighbor, Katie, who used to torment Gaby as a kid.
Josh complains about the ticket, but his parents tell him that Nora is actually pretty awesome. Her husband passed away, and now she’s raising their kid on her own. Josh starts to feel a little bad.
Ted and Marcus are talking wedding plans when Ted brings up his grandma as a potential problem. Everyone skirts around the issue until Ted admits: his grandma doesn’t know he’s gay. Marcus is shocked and doesn’t understand why Ted hasn’t told her. They’re even more surprised to find out she’s coming for Christmas, despite planning a spa trip to Florida. When she meets Marcus, Ted introduces him as “his friend.”
Clark and his wife, Rebecca, show up at his family’s house. Clark’s dad is Chuck, the Christmas light guy. Their large family immediately gives them grief for deciding to go vegan this year.
Josh goes to pay his ticket and meets Nora’s kid, who teaches him how to properly structure his Legos.
Gaby and her family head to their annual karaoke festival, which she loves. She’s upset when Katie shows up, and things get worse when they both choose the same song to perform. Everyone knows what that means… DUET! They crush it—until Katie accidentally hits Gaby in the face, causing her to fall off the stage. To top it all off, Gaby learns her parents are giving Katie her room because she’s too tall for the couch.
Later, Josh is in a rush to sign some papers and forgets to put his car in park. It rolls into a fire hydrant. Of course, Nora shows up and tells him this is pretty serious, and he’ll have to go to court. Josh pleads, saying he’s moving to Australia, so she gives him community service instead.
Gaby is looking for a blanket when she finds an engagement ring in Kevin’s pocket. She is not happy.
Ted’s grandma finds the wedding planning album and assumes Marcus is engaged… to Ella, Ted’s sister. Now she’s staying.
Meanwhile, Chuck’s wife, Connie, is tired of the family fighting, so she makes everyone sign a no-fighting agreement. Chuck agrees but insists they turn on the Christmas lights first. Predictably, it doesn’t go well.

The movie kicks off with some narration about the Christmas magic of snow in fairy tales. But this isn’t just any normal fairy tale.
Cut to a house, all decorated for Christmas. The camera pans over to the house next door, which is dark and cold. Inside is Kathy, who is just as cold as her surroundings, while a truly awful version of "Jingle Bell Rock" plays in the background. We learn that Kathy runs a diner, and although her house may imply otherwise, she isn’t nearly as miserable as it seems. The diner keeps her busy, and she likes it that way.
She goes to serve a couple some food, and they encourage her to get back out there. Before she leaves, they give her a scarf. While walking through the town square, Kathy comes across a very muscular snowman. She drapes the scarf around it and takes a picture.
That night, the magic winds blow, and the snowman comes to life — with the long scarf still around his neck, if you catch my drift. He starts walking around town, taking in the sights and sounds, but soon realizes he’s not wearing any clothes. Desperate, he breaks into a store and grabs the first thing he finds to cover himself.
The next day, Kathy parks her car and sees a man who appears to be talking to the other snowmen. He notices her and excitedly tells her what happened to him. She’s confused but invites him to her diner.
Meanwhile, the police chief, Nate, investigates the break-in. "Stuff like this doesn’t happen in his town!" he declares, taking the case very seriously.
Back at the diner, Kathy tries to figure out this guy’s name. The shirt he stole has "Jack" written on it, so they go with that. Jack explains that he was the snowman Kathy put the scarf on. Kathy thinks he’s crazy but also feels sorry for him since he’s freezing. She takes him to the doctor, who suggests that maybe Jack is telling the truth — who can say for sure? They discuss finding Jack a place to stay, but he insists on staying with Kathy because he feels safe with her.
She reluctantly agrees, bringing him to her house and leaving him in front of the TV. After watching several channels, Jack snoops around her house and finds pictures of Kathy with a man and some medical forms about chemotherapy.
That night, Kathy comes home and realizes that the police are looking for Jack. She tells him to lay low. In return, Jack shows her that he made homemade pizza crust and eggnog. He also asks her about her late husband, and she opens up to him.
The next day, Jack finds the home improvement channel and decides to get to work fixing up Kathy’s house. But when a woman named Jane sees him shirtless, she crashes her car. She brings him to her house to help with repairs and later takes him to the diner, where Sheriff Nate is also present. He’s immediately suspicious of Jack and his strange habit of eating ice.
Despite the sheriff’s suspicions, Kathy is moved by Jack’s hard work and enthusiasm. She tells him that he can help out at the school, where he quickly becomes a hit. Jack is loving life, and Kathy starts to enjoy his company, though she admits that she can’t love anyone until she learns to love herself first.
As Jack helps decorate for the school’s Christmas ball, he realizes he wants to ask Kathy out. With some encouragement from Deputy Schatz, Jack finally works up the courage. After some hesitation, he tells Kathy, "I don’t want to lay low. I want to stand tall." She agrees, and they go fancy shopping and have a wonderful time.
Later, they go to the school dance and have the best time of their lives. They step outside to cool off, and they almost kiss, but Jack pulls back. He says, "The more I fall in love with you, the more I can’t stand the thought of hurting you if I melt." They share a hug.
On Christmas Eve, Kathy hosts a gathering at the diner. Suddenly, Sheriff Nate comes in and arrests Jack after finding a picture of him at the ATM. Kathy rushes to check on Jack and discovers he’s melting. She runs to get all the money in her safe, but it’s not enough. The townspeople, however, come together and contribute their own money — it’s a "It’s a Wonderful Life" moment. Sheriff Nate counts the money, but after seeing how much it means to the town, he returns it to Kathy.
She rushes to Jack, who is in a bad state. The townspeople carry him out into the snow, but he doesn’t wake up. Desperate, Kathy leans down and tells Jack that she loves him before kissing him. She begins to walk away, but suddenly Jack stands up. They embrace, and Kathy notices something’s different. Jack says, "I don’t know what’s up," and shivers. Kathy exclaims, "You’re cold!" They kiss again as the crowd cheers.
They spend Christmas together, repair the heating in her house, and then head off to Hawaii for a well-deserved vacation.

The episode starts with a full montage showing Alice time traveling to the '90s for the first time—the moment from way back in season 1. She meets Colton, and when he hears she was swimming in the pond, he is immediately suspicious of her. He remembers that she’s the one he met back in the '70s.
Back in the present, things aren't looking good for Jacob. Charges may be pressed against him for attempted arson—I mean, they have him on tape!
Present-day Alice goes back to the '90s to see Kat and Elliot play M.A.S.H. together—something she learned she was present for from her mom—and she’s excited to go back and see teenage Kat and Elliot again. Afterwards, she heads to the pond to go home. As she’s about to jump back in, Colton stops her and says, "You are who I thought you were! The same Alice from the '70s. It’s you!" She warns him not to ask any questions. She tells him the '70s were an amazing time she will cherish forever, and then jumps back in the pond.
Elliot shows Jacob the thing he found in the clock—it turns out it’s a pendulum. Jacob says that’s how he feels, going back and forth between time. Elliot gets some mail from his dad, and inside is the ring.
Alice is back at work, looking for a tape recorder to play some of Colton’s old recordings when Max walks in. They both talk about how they didn’t hate the kiss.
Jacob goes to talk to Danny to apologize for using his garage code at work when he was attempting arson. He tells Danny he’s done enough to him, even though he doesn’t know the truth. Danny asks what he means, and Jacob just says, "Just that you thought for so long it was your fault." Danny tells him to scram. "Get. Leave."
Alice and Kat are going through some of Colton’s old stuff when Alice recognizes a tape. It’s from the demo they recorded together, which includes a conversation Alice and Colton had about how much he loves Del. They play it for Del, and she asks them to take her to him via the pond. The three jump in together. Del and Kat pop up, but Alice is nowhere to be found. We see the pond took her somewhere else. As she gets out, Colton is there and says, "Jacob fell in the pond, didn’t he?!"
We then see that earlier that day, Colton figured it out when he went to visit Evelyn and saw the painting of "My Katherine." He recognizes her. He knows that it’s his daughter who time-travels and remembers that she and adult Jacob were there when he traveled back to the 1800s. He figures out that Alice is his granddaughter. He tells her all of this and gives her his sweater. She tells him that Jacob does make it home, but he figures out he won’t be there to see it. He realizes he’s going to die.
Alice jumps in the pond to leave, and Colton decides to give it one last shot—he jumps in, hoping to see his son again. Alice cries as she lands back in the present, taking off Colton’s sweater—the same one Elliot will one day find.
The pond worked for Colton, and he watches his family on the night of the summer kickoff. He finds Jacob in the barn and tells him, "Remember that I love you, no matter what happens."
Alice realizes she’s not back in the present; rather, she’s back to earlier in the season. She runs back to the pond, and past Alice sees someone running. Alice watches herself running toward the pond and realizes—no one is there to push her, and so it ends up being her that pushes herself.
K.C. arrives at the Landry farm, confronting Jacob with hidden documents—Susannah’s will, which proves Lingermore rightfully belongs to the Landrys. K.C. says this document should stop any legal proceedings and should also stop those letters Del has been getting—letters that Jacob didn’t know about.
Kat and Del end up back at Del’s wedding in the 1970s. Kat encounters crazy Grandma Fern again, who cryptically references 65 & 25, hinting at more yet to come.
In the present, K.C. crosses paths with Alice near the pond. Alice says, "I’m your mom, and Max is your dad." K.C. tells her she’s wrong. Alice says, "But you are a Landry and also a Goodwin?" K.C. replies, "I don’t want to break any more rules."
As they all return home, Alice tells Del & Kat all that she's learned. Del realizes that Colton was going to tell her the truth the night that he was killed and Kat realizes that he knew who she was that night.
In a final montage, Jacob finds the mysterious letters Del has been getting. Del comes home to realize that Jacob is missing once again and left the letters scattered on the table.
Sam calls Del and she tells him that Jacob is missing. Sam says that it’s going to be okay. He just knows it and we see that he is staring at the pond.
Kat confesses her love to Elliot. He then reveals his mother’s letter, which includes a mysterious T.S. Eliot quote. They realize that Elliot’s mom didn’t just mysteriously leave when he was a baby—rather, she was time-traveling.
Cut to the baby in the basket and two people standing by the pond. They place a letter into the basket and then jump. Someone then finds the baby and brings the baby to the steps of the Landry farm, where he’s found by Colton and Del. Baby Katherine is there. Will they become one big happy family?

The movie kicks off with a ton of penguins, including one named Juan who has some new moves. This guy named Ian is out there observing the penguins when he accidentally drops his phone, causing the earth to shake.
Cut to Emma, who is waiting for a match she met on an app. He doesn’t show up. Instead, her dad, Ian, calls and tells her there’s a big problem and that he’s in great danger. However, the phone call keeps breaking up. She tries to reach him again but can’t, so she decides to tag along with a research team heading to Antarctica.
Emma hops on a plane to get to a ship bound for Antarctica. The only problem? She doesn’t have a permit to enter Antarctica, which is apparently required by law. She decides her best course of action is to steal a briefcase from the research team. She’s stopped by a guy named Andy, who’s like, Umm, who are you? Emma lies and says, I have the magnetometer. Andy buys it and says, Well then, we need to get you on board!
Emma sneaks into the janitor’s room, thinking it’ll be fine, but after realizing it’s a 10-day journey, she decides to grab some food while avoiding the woman who told her she couldn’t come. Andy catches her and takes her to the research room to assemble the magnetometer. Realizing she can’t keep up the lie, she finally tells him the truth. Andy feels uneasy about not reporting her—after all, she’s breaking the law—but she pleads, It’s for my dad!
Andy reluctantly agrees to let her stay, even offering her his room (all above board). They bond over card games and other activities, and Emma even sketches Andy while he sleeps. Things are going smoothly until Emma learns the crew on land hasn’t been able to find her dad.
She decides to steal a crew uniform, thinking it’ll make things easier. Her plan works until Ingrid, the woman from the beginning, recognizes Emma’s voice and her distinctive duck ringtone. Ingrid chases her all over the ship, and Emma ends up hiding in a closet. When the ship hits some rough seas, she gets locked inside the closet.
Luckily, Emma manages to make a call over the loudspeaker, and Andy comes to her rescue. They hug for a long time, exchanging meaningful looks.
The ship finally reaches Antarctica, and Emma sneaks onto an expedition with some of the cruisers. She makes it to the base and hops on a snowmobile to find her dad. When she reaches his location, it turns out he was just surfing.
Her dad explains that he’s not the one in danger—a penguin is. He shows them a penguin stuck on a chunk of ice that broke off. He’s tethered the ice chunk but can’t pull it in without tipping over. Fortunately, Andy is an engineer and agrees to help. They come up with a plan, but the drill doesn’t connect to the other iceberg.
Meanwhile, Ingrid is searching for Andy. When she can’t find him, she goes into his room, discovers the stolen crew uniform, and realizes Andy has been hiding Emma.
While this is happening, Andy and Emma take a cold plunge in the icy water. Ingrid spots them with binoculars and is furious.
Back on the ship, Andy and Emma warm up (almost kissing), then return to work with a special drill bit. They eventually learn Emma’s dad is in trouble—a tether broke and pulled him under. He’s okay but insists they get back to saving the penguin.
Just as they’re about to finish the rescue, Ingrid shows up. After an impassioned speech about the importance of penguins, she lets them continue.
They successfully drill and pull the ice chunk back to shore, reuniting the penguins. Emma and Andy hug and nearly kiss again, but they’re interrupted by a phone call. Finally, Andy confesses his feelings, and Emma pulls him in for a kiss.
Four months later, Emma is sketching penguins in Antarctica, living her best life.

The movie kicks off with a promotion for The Harmony Channel! They are airing a marathon of their popular Sugarplummed series, and viewers can win a home decorated for Christmas!
Cut to real life: Emily is a mom of a moody, artistic teenage girl named Nina and a TikToking teenage boy named Max. She’s married to Ben, an architect who never understands what his son is doing—ever.
Emily is very type A, complete with her Christmas checklist. Her family doesn’t care for her checklist; they just want to do their own thing. Emily’s a hot-shot deal maker with an assistant who spends her days watching made-for-TV Christmas movies. Emily explains that these movies are dumb and all follow the same rules. She says, “Of course, I’d love for life to be like one of these movies, but it’s just not realistic.” Her assistant encourages her to live in the moment instead of focusing on her list, and maybe she’ll be surprised.
Emily’s mom collected ornaments, so when she finds out that night that they were delivered from storage to her office, she runs to the office to grab them. The box breaks, and they all fall onto the floor, including a star that says, “Whatever wish you make, it’ll grant.” She looks up and sees one of those Sugarplummed movies on TV, so she wishes for a Sugarplum Christmas. Just then, the star begins to glow, and all the lights in the office start to flicker. Suddenly, Sugarplum magically appears in her office. Sugarplum is just as confused as Emily and asks Emily to help her get back to her town of Perfection. Emily, overwhelmed, says, “I’m going crazy!” and runs to leave. Sugarplum follows her, and they figure out that people can see Sugarplum but don’t recognize her as Sugarplum.
Sugarplum is confused by the lack of snow and explains that snow is part of the rules! Emily is shocked and asks, “The rules are real?” Sugarplum replies, “I mean, it’s a book!” She pulls out the book and says, “It’s pretty clear that I’m here to help you with your perfect Christmas list, and after I do that, I’ll get back to my home!”
The next day, Emily wakes up shocked to find that Sugarplum has brought in a full crew to decorate her house like a winter wonderland. Emily is surprised to learn that the decorators are working out of the goodness of their hearts. Luckily, she has a bag full of princess tiaras from all the princesses she’s met.
When Sugarplum finds out that Emily has a big-city job, she just has to tag along! She listens in as Emily has a meeting with a developer who wants to tear down a ski lodge. Sugarplum walks in and works her magic, even helping two enemies, Vic Webster and Fiona Gubelmenn, fall in love—and boy, is it steamy! Give those two a movie ASAP.
The magic of Sugarplum continues. When they find out that the headphones Nina wants for Christmas are only available if you win a Christmas competition, Sugarplum absolutely crushes it.
Emily is too busy to show up for Max’s career event, so Sugarplum agrees to go. At first, the kids make fun of her for being weird and make fun of Max for bringing her, but then Sugarplum pulls out a magic snow globe and causes it to snow indoors. It’s phenomenal. Max becomes the most popular kid in school.
Emily gets great news—her newly decorated house has secured them a spot in the Harmony Channel Christmas house competition.
But the magic begins to fade. The power goes out due to too many Christmas lights. Vic Webster wasn’t actually into Fiona; he just wanted to trick her into giving up the ski lodge. Sugarplum gets sued for cutting down a tree and then arrested for the snow in the school.
The police are baffled by Sugarplum, seeing as how she has snowflakes as fingerprints. Luckily, Emily knows the law and is able to get her released.
But it’s getting too real for Emily. Her son is suspended, and her daughter is mad at her for ignoring her. Sugarplum realizes the magic is fading. Emily thinks that as long as she wins the contest, they’ll be okay! That’ll be the amazing memory her family needs to keep the magic light burning.
But things get out of control when she adds a ton more to try to ensure they win the contest. She doesn’t even realize that her family is absolutely hating it. Her kids say, “We didn’t ask for any of this. We want Christmas to be like it used to be.” They all leave her alone and go to the Christmas pageant like they used to do together.
Sugarplum helps Emily realize that her family doesn’t need a perfect Christmas—they need her. Emily pulls out of the competition and makes it in time to see her daughter perform at the pageant. But Nina is freaking out and runs away. Emily goes after her, apologizes for being the worst, and tells her that she believes in her and that she shouldn’t worry about being perfect, just have fun.
The performance is great, complete with some Christmas magic. Everything is as it should be, and Sugarplum says it’s time for her to go. She suddenly is transported back into the TV, and the family sits down to watch a Christmas movie, realizing that their friend Sue looked a whole lot like Sugarplum on TV.

The Fletchers Grove real estate party is FINALLY HERE!!! A guy dressed as Santa comes in and kills the vibe. It's Glen. He owns the bookstore, and he’s very passive-aggressive about how no one in this town comes to his bookstore. Glen has a past. He’s banned from the diner, and everyone seems to hate him. He gives presents to everyone and tells Emily that he picked this one specially for her—it’s rare he finds a fellow mystery lover.
The night continues, and Emily sees Glen in his Santa suit scurrying quickly outside. She goes to follow him, finds his hat on the floor, and then sees a car speed off. Just as that happens, she hears a scream. She runs inside and sees Sue, who was throwing the party. She’s crying as she looks at Glen, who has been stabbed in the heart.
When Emily gets home, she opens the gift. It’s a special green edition of A Christmas Carol. We get a flashback of Emily visiting the bookstore and meeting Glen. She tells him about this edition of A Christmas Carol that her parents used to read to her. He remembered and tracked the book down. As she opens it, a letter falls out, inviting her to a very special event at the law offices tomorrow at 8 p.m. What is Glen up to?!
So, she goes to tell Sam, and he says, “How would you feel about me being a plus-one so I can take a gander?” They show up, and the video plays—it’s Glen, predicting his own death and setting up a treasure hunt. Sam tries to get everyone to give him their books so he can search for clues. They’re like, “Nah. There’s treasure to find!”
It doesn’t take Emily long to find the first clue using a UV light on her book. She thinks the other books have clues too and that they all need to work together on it. She gets two others on board—a hot dog stand owner named Harry and Brooke Carmichael. But Glen’s nephew, Fred, says he and his wife don’t want to participate (mainly Fred’s wife—she didn’t like Glen).
To make matters worse, there’s one book still missing. She thinks maybe he gave it to the diner owner, Sue, but Sue says she threw the book out.
Sam finds out that Glen had Huntington’s disease. After Fred finds this out, he decides that they want to participate. Even though they’re missing one book, they decide to put all the clues together and try to figure out what they’re pointing to. It has something to do with a precious memory. Fred says, “The only memory I can think of with Glen is him reading Twas the Night Before Christmas.” Emily says, “Go see if he has that book in the bookstore. Maybe there’s a clue.”
As they’re walking towards the store, Emily sees the car that sped off and notices a letter that clearly came from Glen in the front seat. Just then, Fred realizes the bookstore is unlocked. Sam goes in first and finds a guy there.
It’s Fred’s brother Noah. They haven’t seen each other in a long time. Apparently, when their mom got sick, Noah left. Sam takes Noah in for questioning and presents him with some pretty tough evidence—they found Glen’s Santa suit in the trunk and the USB drive with Glen’s video on it from the lawyer’s office, which was stolen. He gives reasons for all of it, but it’s not looking great.
Fred tells Emily that he did finally go find the book and found a USB drive! They agree to all get together tomorrow to watch what’s on it.
As Emily’s going home, an SUV speeds at her, and she has to tuck-and-roll out of the way.
The next day, they all get together, and it’s another video with a very cryptic clue. We find out that someone is sitting in a car, listening in on their conversation.
Later, the group gets back together, but Fred is nowhere to be found. Turns out he was attacked from behind. He says he doesn’t know who did it. Sam gets a call—they found Fred’s wife’s DNA on the Santa suit. She says she found out that the first editions were missing and went to talk to Glen. She found him dead and knew it wouldn’t look good that she found him, so she put the suit on and ran out.
Emily finds Noah in the diner—he’s been released. She convinces him to join the group in solving the mystery. He comes to her store and sees there’s a hole in the wall—she has a leak. He says he thought maybe it was one of the secret compartments these old buildings have. That gives them the idea to look for one in the bookstore, and they find it! Inside is a suitcase—a go-bag, if you will. They discover a folder with a plane ticket to Switzerland for the day of the party and a brochure for a place in Switzerland for end-of-life care. He was planning to leave and die in Switzerland. Emily recalls that the tape says, “If you’re seeing this, that means I’m gone.” He didn’t know he was going to be murdered. He was just planning on disappearing.
They find the final clue and watch the video. Suddenly, Harry, the hot dog guy, is gone, and so are all the books. Emily puts it together—he killed Glen and was just trying to solve the mystery. She goes to confront him in the cemetery where the final clue leads to. We find out that he showed up to steal the first edition A Christmas Carol and threatened to kill Glen to get it. Glen laughed in his face, knowing he was dying. That offended Harry, so he stabbed him.
Emily then fights him, takes him down, and puts him in plastic cuffs to get the treasure! She figures out it was the lawyer who hired this guy, and he gets arrested.
She gets the group back together and hands out what Glen left for everyone. It’s very sweet.
The movie ends with Emily coming down to her store and seeing Sam fixing her wall. They end up making out HARD!!! She says, “Let’s go for a walk in the snow.” She has to go change, and that’s when he gets a phone call—he’s been investigating Emily and noticed some discrepancies in her story. He got a call from his higher-up to drop any and all research into her. So, clearly, she isn’t who she says she is. The episode ends with him asking her, “Who are you really?” Fade to black.

The movie kicks off in the big city for the annual Jingle Belle's live show. They're knockoff Rockettes. The people love it. I do not. In the middle of it all is Ashley Davis. She's a legend who has apparently been doing the Jingle Belle show for 12 years! Her boss asks to see her one night after a show — she is NOT being aged out, but she IS being replaced. She doesn't even get to finish out the season. She leaves and screams, "AGGHHHHHHHH!" She goes home to watch some Netflix Christmas movies and drown her sorrows in popcorn. Her mom calls and says that, since they know she's too busy to come to them, they're coming to her. They even bought tickets to see The Jingle Belle. She says, "No, no, that won't be necessary. I'll come to you."
So, she heads to her hometown of Sycamore Creek and is dropped off at The Rhythm Room. She immediately gets tangled up in some garland that a hunk is putting up on the lampposts.
The Rhythm Room is the venue her parents own. They hug, and then the parents immediately go to meet with the women who own the building. Turns out, the landlord keeps raising the rent on them, making it hard for the venue to bring in big artists, which makes it hard to make money, which makes it hard to fix the faucets. But who needs money when you have a Luke? Luke is the garland guy from before, who also comes by and helps with repairs when they need him. He agrees to give Ashley a ride to her parents' place, and they spend the ride talking and getting to know each other a little bit.
The next day, she heads down to the venue, and it doesn't take long for Luke to show up shirtless. She finds out that her parents are in quite the bind, and there's a juice bar interested in taking over the lease and back-paying the 6 months' rent they're behind. When all is said and done, her parents are in a $30,000 hole. But something the landlord says inspires Ashley to put together an all-male dance crew that will bring in the people. And who better to lead the revue than shirtless Luke? She'll call them the Merry Gentlemen... THAT'S THE NAME OF THE MOVIE!
Luke is hesitant at first, but if it helps save The Rhythm Room, he'll give it a shot. She recruits the hunky bartender and her sister's husband, who also happens to be a stripper for bachelorette parties. She works on coming up with a routine, and the guys are all taking it seriously. Luke doesn't feel like he's getting it, so she slow dances with him, and the sparks begin to FLY!
It's finally time for the big revue debut, and Luke is freaking out and breathing into a bag. Luckily, Ashley has some tricks that she's picked up to help with nerves.
The tickets are $30 a pop, and the crowd... well, it's a start. But the boys crush it, and the crowd LOVES it.
The night is a success, and the landlord tells Ashley to keep up the great work. Luke congratulates Ashley on her big success, gives her a necklace, and asks to walk her home. They get some pizza and really start to open up to one another. She didn't expect to enjoy directing a show as much as she did.
She finds another dancer, and they start putting together some new dances. Everything is going great! They're even selling out!
But one of the guys slips and falls, spraining his ankle just before showtime. This throws the boys off, and they have to press pause to try to figure something out. Luckily, there's a guy named Danny who is always at the bar doing a crossword puzzle, and he joins in on the fun. It works. Another successful night! After the 12/21 show, they're only about $10,000 short.
Ashley goes to talk to Luke some more in his barn. Talking leads to dancing, and dancing leads to kissing.
They are so close to the $30,000 goal when Ashley gets a call from her old boss — they have a 911 situation, and she needs her back ASAP. They're willing to give her a 25% raise and a 3-year contract. The problem? She needs to be back by the big Christmas Day show. She goes to talk to her parents, and they tell her that she has to take the offer. It's her dream. She texts her boss and takes the offer.
Luke doesn't take the news as well. "The city girls are all the same," he says. "The only reason I was doing this show is because of how inspiring you are."
She heads off to the airport, and he goes on stage to start dancing, but he can't do it. Suddenly, she walks in, and he can dance again. She tells him that she could do it, she couldn't leave. They celebrate with a big kiss — complete WITH A LIFT!
They all celebrate Christmas together with Christmas dinner at The Rhythm Room, and they share one more big ol' kiss!
