A good novel about the strange Grelk family and their plot to assassinate Marshal Dillon and Chester, who are imprisoned in the potato cellar. On October 12, 1957, the script was used on the Gunsmoke television series. This is a sponsored network version of cat. #17298. The live system cue is added. Chester went looking for Marshall Matt Dillon when the strangest man he'd ever seen strolled into the office. The man was frail, with long yellow hair and yellow teeth, and he demanded that the Marshall arrest his father. He introduces himself as Budge Grilk and informs him that his father had slain a man and is lying dead at home. Ma Grelk and Matt will arrive when they arrive.

Gun Smoke, Ep# 22 – Shakespear

Plot

A good story about a deranged Shakespearean actor who murders during a heatwave in Kansas. It was the dust; the heat in Dodge City was bad enough, but the dust out on the plains was unbearable. The sun was a blazing red round chip in the sky, and a man's sweat never had a chance to evaporate. It was dust-blotted and dried. Doc, Chester, and Marshall Dillon had ridden ten miles out to old man Gore's place because he had a problem with one of the hands who had gone crazy on the liquor and was shooting up the cattle.*Support the channel*

Plot

The Old Gunsmoke Radio Show: A Historical Look at the Pioneering Western Series The Old Gunsmoke Radio Show was one of the most successful and influential western-themed radio programs of the mid-20th century. The show first aired on April 26, 1952 on the CBS Radio Network and ran until June 18, 1961. It was created and written by Norman Macdonnell and was produced and directed by Charles Marquis Warren. The show featured a variety of stories, characters, and settings, all of which were derived from various western stories and novels. The show was known for its gritty realism, and its plots often focused on the struggles of lawmen, outlaws, and other characters who lived in the lawless Wild West. The show was narrated by William Conrad, and it featured a large cast of actors, including frequent guest stars such as John Dehner, Parley Baer, and Howard McNear. Many of the stories were adapted from the works of authors such as Zane Grey, Louis L'Amour, and Ernest Haycox. The show was a huge success, with its episodes often becoming the most-listened-to programs on the radio. It was credited with bringing the western genre to a wider audience, and it helped to popularize the Western as a genre in the United States. The show has been re-released in various formats over the years, including vinyl records, reel-to-reel tapes, and CD collections. It has also been adapted into a television series, which aired on CBS from September 10, 1955, to March 31, 1975. The Old Gunsmoke Radio Show remains one of the most beloved and influential radio programs of all time, and is remembered fondly by generations of fans. If you're a fan of the Wild West, then this is the show for you.

GunSmoke, Ep# 28 – Stage Hold-Up

Plot

Marshal Dillon is a sleeping passenger when Jermo and Charlie rob the stage. On October 25, 1958, the script was aired on the Gunsmoke television series. "The journey from Hayes City to Dodge was long enough on horseback, but it seemed endless by stage coach." Apart from myself, there were only two other passengers, and after the first hour on the road, we stopped talking. I just sat there waiting for the ride to end in silence. I'd been up late the previous couple of nights, so I leaned against the coach's corner and dozed off. I vaguely recall the stage coming to a halt and someone yelling. But I was fully awake when the door slammed open and a man behind a desk appeared.

Doc gives his word of honor not to reveal the killers' identity or hiding place after treating a wounded man. On October 1, 1955, the script was aired on the Gunsmoke television series. When the Doc returned after a two-day absence, Marshal Matt Dillon and Chester were both concerned. The Doc couldn't tell them where he'd been; all he knew was that two riders had come into his office and informed him that a man had been injured somewhere beyond Fort Dodge. The Doc had been unable to save a young man who had been shot in the spine. One of the men was prepared to kill the Doc in order to prevent him from speaking, but the leader agreed to let him speak.
