Nick and Mike go deep on the strange Jalon Daniels injury saga, give Jason Bean his love, and talk about BigGameBoomer getting denied a media credential. Fresh off KU's beatdown vs. Illinois, Nick and Mike go there, asking if KU is ready to compete in this Big 12. The two dive into Jalon Daniels being better than they remember, whether or not that was the best game of the Lance Leipold era, and talk about game attendance. “You Mad?” Finally, will the Jayhawks live up to the #RANKUS hype vs. Nevada? With Mike traveling overseas in an attempt to evade authorities, Nick opens this episode by discussing Kansas' ugly win over Nevada last week and wonders when was the last time Kansas Football was in a position to have a 'bad win'. In this episode, Mike and Nick are joined by a (non-practicing) lawyer, podcast host, and NIL contributor whose government name is Kevin Mechtly, but is referred to on the Twitter streets as Jayhawk Talk. The trio open the show by discussing the IARP's ruling on Bill Self and Kansas and what the biggest takeaways are from this six-year saga. The guys then turn their attention to Kansas Football who moved to 5-1 on the season by rushing for one million yards vs. UCF (who may or may not be a Division I football program). They handed out some awards to everyone who isn't a Kansas fan and (future Kansas Football stadium namesake) Sean Snyder. Finally, they react to the #ShowItAll gang, Flo Rida's sweaty, shirtless performance at Late Night, and rumors that Gonzaga could be joining the Big 12. 

In this episode, Mike and Nick discuss KU's frustrating loss to Oklahoma State and the fan reaction online Saturday afternoon. Listeners were justifiably upset and sent their takes in blaming Jason Bean, Lance Leipold, Andy Kotelnicki, and the refs. Is the dream season officially dead again? That question is answered and we discuss the vibes around the team heading into the bye week.
