19 Dec 20218- The Hunt (2020) w/ The Gory Picture Show01:25:09

We were lucky to be joined by Louis and Brandon of The Gory Picture Show for one of the most controversial movies in recent memory THE HUNT (2020). A movie plagued with delays, attacks from the former president, and being dumped at the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, which buried its existence, and maybe that's for the better. We take a look at how it straddles the current political divide, what it says (or doesn't say) about America, and even tacky literary references. Did the Libcuck media brainwash you sheeple into cancelling free speech? Decide for yourself! *barfs*

16 Aug 202216- John Carter (2012)01:31:42

Before Disney bought Star Wars, they took a big swing and had a HUGE miss with John Carter (at least at the box office). This legendary sci-fi epic has since built up a cult fanbase, represented here by Cody Enos who dishes out all of the juicy, gory details of the history and intentionally awful marketing of Disney's most ambitious bomb!

22 May 202214- Manos: The Hands of Fate (1966) Interview with Jackey Neyman Jones01:14:07

It's the worst movie of all time, and there's no marketing, so how are we supposed to do an episode? We team up with our friends at The Gory Picture Show to crack some jokes, but more importantly, we did an exclusive interview with Jackey Neyman Jones about her experience being a child actress in such a notorious film, and all of the behind the scenes shenanigans that this movie endured.

    09 Jan 2022BONUS: Class of 202100:49:38

It's the end of the year, and there were a lot of movies with a lot of marketing. We decided to compile a list of all the movies this year that we think would have potential for a future episode, whether they be for controversial, excessive, or misleading marketing campaigns. Also, we 100% stole this idea from This Had Oscar Buzz.

On the 10 year anniversary of the release of a film widely beloved by filmbros and Film Twitter obsessives, Mike and Nate take a look at the understated, sleek, and stylish approach that Nicolas Winding Refn took with his modern masterpiece, DRIVE (2011). We discuss the impact this film had on the careers of Refn and Ryan Gosling, its current reputation as the filmbro's introtroductory movie, the film's heavily action-packed marketing campaign, and one woman's insane biblical mission to get her revenge on the filmmakers for deceiving her.

Yo-ho, me maties! We be hoppin' aboard the Disney 100 re-releases. Kicking it off with a movie that we've already done a full episode on, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. Drink up me hearties, yo-ho.

    10 Dec 2022Market Research- November 202201:05:24

We were really desperate for marketing news for this month, we ended up having to resort to Film Twitter discourse. We also rag on the Sight & Sound's Top 100 list, the new Indiana Jones trailer, and movies that we showed our parents that they hated.

    17 Jul 20212- Godzilla (2014)01:25:01

It’s our second episode (surprised we’re actually going ahead with this?) and this time we’re joined by resident Monster Kid and foremost Godzilla expert Louis Otero of Random Movie Roulette and The Gory Picture Show, to discuss the big lizard’s roaring return to the big screen and the official start of Legendary’s Monsterverse. Were we given the giant monster movie we all hoped for, or did Gareth Edwards just jerk us around for two hours and not let us finish?

15 Apr 202213- The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996)01:21:07

"HERE IT IS, THE MOVIE YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR!" Back in the good old days when Disney was making artistically daring, ambitious animated films that pushed the boundaries of what a kid's movie can get away with. They also had to sell this movie about religious persecution, prejudice, genocide, lust, and the fiery depths of hell to little kids and families. Ring the bells and join our Festival of Fools as we take a look at THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME.
