23 Jul 2023Fatherhood: Building a Legacy of Faith 06-18-2023---Sunday-Night-Service---Happy-Father-s-Day Sunday evening Pas Wiggins01:03:44

In this inspiring episode of our church podcast, we explore Psalms 128 and reveal five essential ways fathers can uphold godly standards in their role as parents. Drawing from biblical wisdom, we share valuable insights to empower fathers to become exemplary leaders in their families.

The episode focuses on the key aspects that define a righteous father. First and foremost, a father's character shines through his fear of the LORD, evident in the way he lives his life. Secondly, we delve into the importance of contentment, trusting in God to supply all our needs and finding satisfaction in Him.

We also emphasize the significance of the company fathers keep, clinging to the vine that is the LORD and cherishing children as blessings and heritage from God. In this context, we discuss the vital role fathers play in their children's lives, being present and engaged, rather than becoming absent "drop-out dads."

Additionally, we highlight the responsibility of fathers to teach their sons godly principles and to provide love and support for their daughters. We also discuss the crucial role of men in leadership within the family and society.

Lastly, the episode concludes with a reminder of the lasting impact fathers can have on future generations by guiding their children's children to be led by the LORD, creating a legacy of faith.

Tune in to gain valuable insights on biblical fatherhood and discover how to build a strong foundation of faith for your children and grandchildren.

Notes by Pas. Gerald Rankin

Job 14:15 And in verse 14 he asks shall a man live again ? Then in verse 10 he ask where is he?

Why do people have to die. Because of sin that is why.

Second question was, shall he live again.

You ought to prepare to die. Know where you will spend eternity. Jn 11:21

Jn 2:19 it was his body that was sacrifice and he rose again.
