20 Feb 2022In Conversation - Eleni Helen Mitas Hypnotherapy is magical00:23:31

"And that's how I trained hypnotherapist’s from across the globe. I've trained thousand's of people from all over the world. And what we want to do is we want to make sure that we're actually dealing with the cause and not just the symptoms. So, it is a programme, but even when you look at it, 12 sessions, that's nothing compared to people who come to us for depression or chronic anxiety, who have seen a psychiatrist for years, and years. And all they do is go from one antidepressant to another and nothing has really changed except there's been numbed from the world.”

23 Feb 2022In Conversation - Raamon Newman The Science of Protection00:24:31

“In layman's terms it simply means being able to be more awake and alert, be more relaxed and rested, and being able to see those bigger pictures, see those finer details to fill those bigger pictures, and allow things to happen, more naturally, more organically. And so, you know, usually the top leaders, they're working hard, but they're not working hard, because they're functioning from a state of simplicity. In that natural state, where you're not overthinking things, you're not under thinking things, you're just in tune with the right thought at the right time.”

02 Mar 2022In Conversation - Derrick McManus Human Durability00:22:27

“He was still standing in direct line of fire when he was risking his life to save mine. Bullets are whizzing around us, but he stabilised me in 10 minutes in the brick line of fire. And in the analysis afterwards, he says he doesn't know how my heart didn't stop. All the textbooks say it should have stopped. The only reason he believed that it didn't stop, was because I had never read those textbooks.”

Website                              https://www.derrickmcmanus.com/

Who is Derrick McManus?

Derrick McManus was a South Australian Police officer operating in the elite Special Tasks And Rescue (STAR) Group.  He held specialist skills as a sniper, diver and was trained by the military elite Special Air Services Regiment (SAS) in counter-terrorist tactics. This is a physically, mentally and emotionally demanding environment.  It is an extreme, potentially overwhelming, VUCA environment in every way.

Derrick’s team had been tasked to arrest a high-risk offender.  He was obviously not very keen on being arrested. He fired 18 times in less than 5 seconds and hit Derrick 14 times. Derrick was then lying on the ground bleeding for 3 hours prior to his rescue. It was also anticipated that Derrick would suffer massive post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and be in psychological therapy for decades after such a massive traumatic event.

Three months after the shooting, Derrick had a single appointment with the Director of the Adelaide Centre for Traumatic Stress Studies – an international expert in traumatic stress.  Derrick defied all odds and amazed everyone when he was immediately psychologically cleared to go back to full duties with the elite STAR Group (obviously his physical injuries took much longer).

Derrick had proactively prepared himself physically, mentally, AND emotionally for the challenges he could expect as a result of the choices he had made.  He took responsibility for his actions and for all possible consequences. This format has been developed into the model for Human Durability and forms the basis of the philosophies within the Australian Centre for Human Durability.

Derrick has been a speaker and trainer on the international speaking circuit for the past 20 years.  He’s presented to audiences of 7 people to 4000 people, 5-year-old students to staff/team leaders to executives/CEO’s through to retirees. Derrick provides the insights and the tools to go beyond resilience to durability and create sustained optimum performance. He will show you how to create greater success for your people, leaders, and the organization.

Who is Rael Bricker?

In 2013 I was given a rude awakening when after a season of triathlons, I decided to run a marathon. All this was part of a plan before turning 50. Each time I ran, I experienced neck pain  and it was discovered that I had two blocked arteries. I was the lucky one- I dodged a bullet and ended up with two stents.

This experience helped me to find my purpose in life.   I found my purpose in sharing the experiences of journeying  and achieving excellence with business owners and entrepreneurs around the world.

After 30+ years as a serial entrepreneur, in everything from education to finance to fitness, I’ve now made it my mission to share my knowledge and expertise with others. Seeing that light come on, and connections being made in people’s heads as to how they can weave my experiences and advice into their businesses reinforces that this is where I need to be.

From being 6000ft underground in a mine, to starting an education business (that grew to have 4000 plus students) and spending years working in venture capital, I have has seen it all. I have listed companies on multiple international stock exchanges, and my financial services group has settled more than $3bn in loans over 20 years. I have a diverse work history combined with unique global research interviews with companies in more than 25 countries. Taking this knowledge and experience makes me perfect to work with leaders and managers  on growing and achieving excellence, as I have experienced the rollercoaster myself, and know how to navigate the twists, turns and loops.

If you need me to have academic qualifications,  I hold two Masters degrees; an MBA and MSc (Engineering) and am currently a Fellow of the MFAA (Mortgage and Finance Association of Australia), a Certified Speaking Professional  (CSP)  (Professional Speakers Australia) and a Member of AICD (Australian Institute of Company Directors).

My most important qualification is from the school of hard knocks and my most important skill is being able to listen to your needs and design a solution to help you. I am the first inspirationalist in Australia with Integrus Global and a Mentor with both Mentored With Mark Bouris and Mastermind.space. I love serving and contributing to others and in 2021 I have served as the President of Professional Speakers Australia in Western Australia. As my surname suggests, I am about laying the right bricks as the foundation to your personal and business success on the journey to excellence.

Who is Nick Mautone?

With 40 years of hospitality industry experience, Nick Mautone believes in the power of mentorship, leadership, collaboration, and possibility.  Nick is the architect of an inventive process called “Hospitality Sabermetrics” — think Moneyball for Hospitality and has a sixth sense when it comes to foreseeing trends. He is known for nurturing sustained success, streamlining operations, and aligning core values in every sort of hospitality business. For Nick Mautone, the spark came as a young kid growing up in Mt. Vernon, NY where he spent weekends making cheese and handmade pasta for his dad’s specialty food business. While he dreamed of becoming a NASA scientist (and still loves looking up at the stars), he worked his way through school in restaurants—bussing tables and backing bars. Eventually he and his siblings opened an innovative pizzeria, American Pie, on the Upper West Side. Science became a hobby, and restaurants became his life.

Since then, Nick has worked with some of the most iconic and influential restaurants in the world including Gotham Bar & Grill, Hudson River Club, and most notably, Gramercy Tavern where he was managing partner alongside Danny Meyer and Tom Colicchio for seven years and helped define and nurture a fledgling idea Danny and the group coined called “Enlightened Hospitality.” With decades of experience behind him, in 2003, Nick founded his management and consulting business, Mautone Enterprises. The business was born of a desire to share his process, experience, mentorship, and leadership. Whether building a strong foundation for a first-time restaurateur, or turning around a big ship on the wrong course, for Nick the process is about grass roots collaboration, helping chefs and owners come together, developing systems for success, and digging deep into the numbers and the P&L, to uncover what needs to be tweaked, edited, or completely uprooted, delivering holistic success—including profitability, streamlined and efficient operations, a sense of community, harmony, and growth among all staff, and sustainability of concept.
Nick is a strong believer in active participation in the community and has worked with many local and national charities. He has been an advisor and fundraiser to non-profits focused on childhood education and on hunger relief and poverty alleviation. These days, Nick lives outside Seattle where he hangs out with his family—his daughter Alexandra (28), son Nicholas (15), and wife Terri Ludwig. He is an avid reader and cyclist, and a terrible but enthusiastic amateur astronomer...

Summary of Caleb DeLon

“Unless you're one of the rare individuals who actually thrives in that environment, it's going to be best for you to write your book in community. And especially when we're talking about content creation, to bring in someone to ask you questions. In this, this takes speaking your content to the next level. It's one thing to hit record on your phone and just begin to talk. It's another to have a friend sitting across from you asking you questions that you then respond to, because what that friend can do is by the questions they ask, help you to remember stories that you forgotten and come up with insights that you would never have done simply monologuing.”

So many people are afraid of taking risks. And they are so afraid of betting on themselves just in case they fail. But I've come to realise that people aren't afraid of failure, people are afraid of failing in front of other people. And I think once you take that out of the equation, and you're like, you know what, even if I do fail, I would rather be the person in the ring, fighting for what I want, and falling a few times and stumbling, then be the person in the audience judging and pointing and saying how that person could have done it better. So, I think when you take a risk on yourself, you realise it's really about choosing you and choosing the life you were destined to live.

Who is Candice Mama?

My name is Candice Mama, I was born in 1991 in South Africa a country that was gripped by the grossly violent and oppressive system of Apartheid and this is my story.

In September 2014 , The National Prosecuting Authority reached out to my family to enquire about whether or not we would like to meet Eugene de Kock ( a former South African Police colonel, torturer, and assassin, active under the apartheid government. Nicknamed “ Prime Evil” and sentenced to 212 years in prison under 89 charges). As many would imagine, it wasn’t a decision we came to without many dinner-table discussions and some trepidation from members of the family.

We agreed to schedule our meeting for the following Tuesday. In the days to come, a sense of self-reflection enveloped me. My dad, Glenack Masilo Mama, was brutally killed in a vicious and unjust time in our country’s history. My memories of him were nothing but compilations of different people’s stories and pictures we collected over time. However, the one thing I knew for sure about my father was that he had been tortured and then burnt to death by a man named Eugene de Kock. I went on to read numerous articles and books about the man dubbed Prime Evil and his legacy, which was that of being the face and embodiment of an unjustifiable system of hate and oppression. Growing up in a house where reading and introspection were encouraged allowed me to be able to contextualise my dad’s killing. Which, in my mind, made his death mean something.

He died fighting a system and wanting a different country for my brother and myself, which we are extremely fortunate to now be living in. This made me realise I couldn’t hate De Kock because love and hate cannot operate in the same space.  If I wanted to resent him, I would never be able to fully enjoy the life my dad and so many others willingly or unwillingly died

At the end of the day. It's going to be about how much you can help the guy who's sitting across the desk deciding whether he should give you a job.”

2.       Then you must put yourself in a position to learn from the best. (the best schools, cities, work environment, etc)

3.       Determination and persistence is key.

4.       Relatedly, you must be able to rebound, as quick as possible, from setbacks.

“The temptation in Western cultures to quickly move from relationship building, to securing and then close the deal. However, from an Asian perspective, the emphasis is on establishing a quality and a long-term relationship first, and I call this the 20-year rule. So, here's what I mean, if I don't get the impression from you that we will continue having a solid relationship in 20 years’ time, I'm less likely to invest in the relationship right now. Now, this emphasis on relationship building is a prerequisite for building trust and negotiating a fair deal in Asia. And that's not the same, in a lot of other countries are certainly not to the same degree. So, I guess what I'm trying to say to warn here in a way is that if you appear too preoccupied with just the short-term contracts at hand, this could cause alarm for your Asian partner, who in turn may decide to choose a competitor whose values align more closely with theirs.”

"Do you know your conversion rate? If you don't let's start there as to find out what it is this guy we dug into it, he had a 20% conversion rate. So, for every five people his team spoke with, he would get you know one of those become a client. And I asked him when he was doing the sales and selling how many how much would he convert? And he said he would convert 80% of the time, right? So, he would get four out of five. So, there's big disparity there. So, we set to work and identify what were the gaps? How could we get that sales up to 50%? Could we get the teams to be moving that way? Now we set that as a standard. And we put in some small steps and processes along the way. Now within three to six months, his team were up to 40%. So, they're going from 20% to 40%, just by focusing on making a few small tweaks and changes. So, if his conversion double, then of course his whole business doubled."

Miller IP Law was founded by Devin Miller, a patent attorney that lives in Utah. As Devin worked for a large law firm helping fortune 100 clients with their intellectual property, he realized that there was not a good resource out there to help start-ups and small businesses understand intellectual property, including patents, trademarks, and copyrights. As a small business owner, Devin wanted to provide a resource for start-ups and small businesses where they could learn about patents, trademarks, and copyrights and how they relate to business to help small business owners like himself build value into their business and protect their assets.

His dad has been his greatest professional mentor. Growing up, he was heavily involved in multiple start-ups. He grew up watching him experience the joy of success and the downsides of failure. He taught him everything he knows and has fostered his passion for helping people like him with their intellectual property.

Devin was raised in Utah. He went to BYU (Provo, Utah) to get a double major in Electrical Engineering (EE) and Mandarin Chinese. He then went to Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) to get dual degrees, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a law degree (JD). So when you do these daily things, you can just then just ask, Oh, yeah, where are you at on this, and there'll be like, because the shyness, it's all part of our culture, it's very much true, but it is, there's different ways we can get them out of it. But when you do the daily syncs, or if you do it weekly, you can then ask, like, Hey, where's this app? Do you need any help on this? “I believe networking is an inclusive activity. So, the more networking you do, the more opportunities you're going to create for yourself. So never think of networking as I should only ever do one and give that everything. Because what you're doing is you're limiting the opportunities that you can bring into that that particular room of people, you want to create opportunities for people in the room, that's your role in the networking room. And everybody's thinking that way, everyone's creating opportunities for each other. So, the more networking we do, the more opportunities we can create for other people.”

12 Mar 2023In Conversation - Howard Sambol Top Five Tips For Launching Your Ideal Business00:29:38

“Most human beings are so unaware of their own internal patterns, their own internal beliefs and patterns emotionally, that they are in effect, an emotional pinball machine. In other words, they are living their lives and React, React, React, React, React, wherever the wind blows are, this person does this, or this is out there, in a in a perpetual reactive mechanism, rather than being deliberate and a choice with how they're living their life. And the only way to break free of that is to begin to gain awareness and mastery of oneself. And that begins with beliefs, with understanding, not only being able to recognize the beliefs that are hindering you, that are holding you back, but also beginning to have a way to shift the patterns with limiting beliefs.”

19 Mar 2023In Conversation - Victoria Pelletier Top Five Tips For Living An Unstoppable Career and Life00:19:36

I've learned from making mistakes, you know, I learned in my 20s, my nickname was the Iron Maiden. And that's because I've been through massive restructuring, 18, mergers and acquisitions, lots of really difficult decisions to be made. But I didn't show up. I didn't get to know all the individuals in part because one, I had a bit of impostor syndrome, myself, the youngest in the room, the only woman often at the boardroom table, it's there's a lot of reasons I showed up the way I did. And so I didn't take the time to build really like authentic relationships with the team, were number one. And number two, I never showed my own vulnerability to them, to build that and get trust. And so those that authenticity and building this real trusted connection with people, and to learning how to be really vulnerable. Those are, I say, simple. Not everyone's comfortable with that, and you'll need to lean into the discomfort to be successful at it. But that is what builds these kinds of relationships where your employees feel that you they can trust you and that you ultimately have their back in the workplace.

Victoria Pelletier’s Top Five Tips For Living an Unstoppable Career and Life

1.    Develop resilience.

Bio Victoria Pelletier

Victoria has never let circumstances stand in her way. Growing up in an abusive home until she was removed and later adopted, Victoria’s childhood was filled with abuse, sexual assault, and physical violence. But none of that has stopped her. Victoria has overcome tremendous odds to pursue a life of corporate success and leadership. It’s easy to let our circumstances stand in our way. But we don’t have to. Circumstances of our past only rob us of our future if we let them. Victoria chose not to let her circumstances be her excuses.

By age 24, Victoria was offered her first executive role with a large, dynamic, and fast paced organization. Yes, that’s dreadfully young to have such accountability and responsibility. It was her tenacity of spirit, her confidence that she could do the job, and her grit to see that she could rise to the occasion, empowered by the leaders around her that led to her success.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, Victoria knows about diversity and inclusion, and why one without the other is of little value. It’s not enough to have other voices at the table when those opinions aren’t being heard. Victoria’s messages have stemmed from her struggle, and success, in being accepted as a woman in the male dominated board room, and as a member of the LGBTQ community

02 Apr 2023In Conversation - Jonathan Price Top Five Tips For Turning Your Youtube Channel Into A Client Acquisition Channel00:23:53

“So I was enjoying going to the shows, I was documenting it, and I was putting it on YouTube, and people would see they would go after the show and see themselves own the videos, and they would like it, they would comment, and it just turned into a snowball. But the thing was, I wasn't selling anything at that time. So that made it where people, they really were building this more personable relationship with me like, Oh, this guy is not trying to force a sale on me of anything. He's just sharing these videos. And sometimes there's videos of them getting. We call it a demo. Like if we demonstrate the vehicle to the person and they hear it, they feel it, they have a crazy reaction to it, they get to see themselves on the video. So that was the important thing to grow the YouTube channel fast was I wasn't selling anything to people initially. So, I think that's a good thing to do.”

Jonathan Price Top Five Tips For Turning Your YouTube Channel Into A Client Acquisition Channel

1. Start on some sort of social media, primarily YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram, and share content related to your passion or interest.

2. When starting your following, focus on building an organic following by not selling anything initially. This will help build a more personable relationship with your followers.

3.Create a demand for your product or service by sharing content related to your expertise or passion. This can lead to people asking where they can buy your product or service.

4. Build a personal relationship with your followers through your content and interactions with them online. This can lead to lifelong customers and word-of-mouth referrals.

“Delegate, delegate, delegate, I've got a lot of stuff written around this one as well…For me, the first one that comes to mind is like an IT person, you know, they're supposed to approve something, and that just freezes 100 people until that's approved or reviewed or having a conference call about it. So, getting those decisions structurally out of your hands, into the people who can make them is critically important. Making sure you don't have centres, you know, gravitational centres of decision making that slow down the momentum and execution. And I'm a huge fan of starting as a leader, if you're not, if you're not putting your feet up on the desk and staring out the window one hour a day, you're headed for disaster.”

Ken Stearns Bio

For 20 years, Ken Stearns lived and worked in 15 countries across Asia, immersing himself in new cultures, languages, and experiences. Along the way, he found himself consumed by the thoughts inside himself, as they fought to be heard. Writing became his outlet, his way of processing the world around him and sharing his ideas with others. And with a lot of time on his hands in cars, planes, and airports it poured out of him. As he embraced change and pursued his passion for writing, he discovered new depths of growth and transformation. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns, but taking chances and trying new things can lead to unimaginable opportunities and personal fulfillment.

Ken’s Rules are a collection of life and business strategies that are an amalgamation of his life and business experiences. Ideas he picked up here and there, he looked at them as analogies for certain situations, theories to use, to learn from, thoughts, concepts, trials and personal experiments, presented to used here and there in your own life and business. In his early fifties, he decided to replace his habit of reading with writing while traveling. Little did he know that this simple change would lead him on a transformative journey of self-discovery and creativity.

But then when it goes to setting clear boundaries, it's extremely important, specifically for behaviours that cause problem for us or behaviours that might be violating. Therefore, if someone is expressing a kind of behaviour, that creates issue for us, setting the boundary very clearly, is the most crucial thing. And the funny thing about these kinds of behaviours, the pathogenic ones, as we psychologists like to call them, is that you need to basically burn them from the root.”

Richard Phu Bio

Hey! Rich here, I call myself the ‘Geek Master’ to my team because I geek out over systems, processes, and apps! Being in business shouldn’t mean having less freedom in life. That’s why I’ve been obsessed with creating systems and processes with entrepreneurs and business owners to create freedom for the owner, but also their virtual teams to work flexible times and wherever they want.

I’ve been designing, building, implementing, and reviewing processes and systems for well over 8 years working with clients like Deutsche Bank, Nestle and Macquarie Bank. However, after countless hours pouring my heart and soul into projects with little fulfilment, I left my corporate career to start an online men’s coaching business. It ran itself allowing me to travel the world, spend time with my family and even to move to Singapore to call home for some time. All of this was possible through building the right systems in place so that I’m not chained to my business. After being asked by so many other entrepreneurs to systemise their business’s (including a company of 40+ remote employees). I created the Freedom Systems with the sole-aim to help entrepreneurs who are trapped in their business get their freedom back… So, they can spend more time with their family and do what matters most...

But when you pay the house high salary, and they actually get in the job, this is where sometimes some of the disconnects, start to happen. And if you don't have strong relationships and level of trust and enjoy your experience, chances are you're not going to last that long with the, with the organisation you're with, even if you do have a higher salary, because people you know, especially I think we're seeing more of this in the younger generations, that you know, they're they'll move in the blink of an eye if they don't feel that they're enjoying the work that they're doing.”

“ You need to align your purpose with your profession. So, what this essentially means is that if you want to be successful in sales, you really need to believe in what you do, people will assess you based on your level of conviction. So, if you don’t believe that what you’re doing is of great value to the people that you’re serving, then you’re not going to be very effective at giving that message.”

Ben Lai Bio

Ben Lai started Sales Ethos with one vision: to transform how we think – and approach – selling. Moving from nursing to sales, Ben was shocked to see the unethical practices of the sales profession. From lying and misleading clients to fabricating capabilities, Ben sadly saw it all. Determined to maintain his personal integrity, Ben focused on selling responsibly, ethically and truthfully. Unsurprisingly, this approach was not only successful but earned trust and respect with clients!

Today, he uses his personal experience, and 15+ years of extensive research to help others sell (and build their businesses) with integrity and emotional intelligence, while aligning with their values. Ben and his team put people front and centre of the sales equation.

“The first word in a question is often the most important. So, if you ask, Why did you do that, then that comes across as accusatory. And then you're setting up a more aggressive space, but if you open instead with what was going on for you, or tell me what was going on for you? Or how did that arise? Or where did I go wrong? So those first questions, and those first words in those questions is really where it sets the tone. The way you start a conversation is where you end a conversation.”

Wendy Nash Bio

Wendy Nash helps ambitious high-tech startup founders improve productivity and decrease procrastination without increasing their workload to build a profitable business and not burn out. Unlike other life coaches, she works with knowing the mind, not just the mindset. It’s not just overcoming your limiting beliefs!

Wendy created a process called Meditation Coaching where she guides people to set up and maintain a regular meditation practice that fits with their lifestyle and improves understanding themselves in order to understand others better. If you think loving-kindness meditation is only for the soft and weak, bring to mind someone who rejected your business idea or funding proposal and wish them kindness and care – it’s tough! This meditation process helps gain awareness with what you’re good at and where the gaps are so you grow a sound business. Wendy’s clients achieved financially strong businesses despite cofounder conflict, funding rejections, staff underperformance, almost burning out, investor negotiations, constant fear of failure and pivoting new directions in work and life. In other words, she focuses on turning negatives into supercharged positives.

Fun facts about Wendy

  •   Her favorite line from the somatic psychotherapy course was another student who said The one common denominator of all my relationships is me
  •  For her psychology honors project on loving kindness meditation, she tested the Javascript research survey with ABBA songs.
  •  Her project from the 2-year meditation teacher training was creating a class on How to be happier without doing more which meant a whole lot of doing more.
  • She doesn’t always enjoy meditation but slogs at it because what it takes today it gives tomorrow whereas she figured out that party drugs give today but take tomorrow.

Are there ways to reframe it, and you can do this by a series of thinking habits. So, they're giving you a really famous example, of a slow elevator, and a building manager keeps getting complaints from his tenants, and they say, Look, if you don't fix us, we're going to leave. “Why don't you feel good in your clothing? And why do you keep peeling back? You need to ask yourself, Why about five times, and don't let yourself get off the hook because it becomes more and more difficult, the more you do it. However when you do, you're really going to get to the core. And oftentimes, it can be different to what you think your original motivator is, it could be more connected to self-confidence, or that it becomes a much deeper personal level of what's driving you that needs to change. And I think you don't have to go, you know, telling everyone about it. But as long as you yourself understand what that Y is and what that driver is, you are that much more likely to be successful in hitting your vision.”

Annie’s firsthand experience translates into targeted advice that doesn’t just recycle general platitudes. Whether escaping the debt trap or creating a savings strategy that works, Annie is all about actionable solutions that yield results.

Annie’s primary focus now is her award-winning book, The 5-Day Job Search, which has become a must-read for young professionals clawing their way out of student loan debt while trying to keep a well-paying job. It is also a page-turner for Gen Zers looking to pursue their passions without getting into debt at all. Not just an online personality, she also has a corporate career offline. It wasn’t easy, but during this time she developed a love for frugal living, self-education, and planning for the future. Annie eventually earned her B.A. in Communications from Thomas Edison State University, proving that a debt-free education was still possible. 07 Apr 2024In Conversation - Olivia Parkes Top Five Tips To Leverage Operations And Systematically Scale Any Business00:19:33

“You can't delegate successfully, if you haven't followed tip number one, documenting, right. If you don’t that, you're going to spend hours on calls, trying to explain things to people, you're going to get frustrated team members, because they don't understand what they should be doing. And then you'll probably think that they're incompetent, and then take back the task yourself. And then you're in this vicious cycle of not really being able to delegate.”

Olivia Parkes Bio

Olivia Parkes was born in the United Kingdom, dividing her time between her hometown of Sheffield and the bustling capital, London. From a young age, Olivia displayed a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a penchant for system-oriented thinking. During her academic journey at University College London, where Olivia pursued a degree in Pharmacology, she embarked on her entrepreneurial journey, founding her first e-commerce business at the age of 19. Subsequently, Olivia ventured into the realm of digital marketing by establishing a successful digital marketing agency.

Olivia's career path took an intriguing turn as she decided to specialize in sales, becoming a high-ticket sales representative. This shift in focus allowed Olivia to achieve remarkable sales figures, consistently selling packages worth $100,000 per month. Her unique insights into the world of business brought her into close collaboration with CEOs in the online coaching and marketing sectors, many of whom boasted six to seven-figure incomes.

Observing a recurring theme among these CEOs—profits falling short of their potential due to inadequate systems, automations, and operational strategies—Olivia decided to intervene. Taking on the role of an operational leader, she implemented strategic changes, made crucial hires, and streamlined marketing and sales efforts. In just 12 months, her efforts propelled the CEO's business from $350,000 to an impressive $850,000.

This success led Olivia to extend her expertise to other clients, assuming the role of a fractional Chief Operating Officer (COO). Her mission became clear: to relieve entrepreneurs from the exhaustion of constantly burning out by implementing efficient systems that genuinely save time and boost profitability. Crucially, Olivia aimed to design systems that teams would enthusiastically adopt, recognizing that unused systems were ineffectual....

21 Apr 2024In Conversation - Greg DeVore Top Five Tips For Training New Employees Without Pulling Your Hair Out00:20:51

“...it can be done in inductions, but they're still moving to that portal because a lot of organisations are now either hybrid or remote. And so, it's not as easy as just kind of raising your hand or watching what you know Tom does and how he that he fills out a procedure or whatever it is. People need to be able to be empowered to work independently, as our businesses are evolving and still kind of adapting to what you know, the pandemic put us in. So, they need to have that independence, we can't learn in the same way that we used to learn just by osmosis and just observing other people. That's not an easy thing to do. Richard Walsh Bio

Richard is a 30-year seasoned entrepreneur. He’s the best-selling author of Escape the Owner Prison, the contractor's new way to scale, regain control, and fast-track growth while loving life. A speaker and podcast host, he’s a husband and father of six children, a US Marine, champion boxer, black belt, and an internationally recognized steel sculptor.

His expertise lies in combining both the strategic and the tactical. He's able to deliver immediate, problem-solving results (tactical), along with strategic, long-term implementation of systemization and scalability. With over 30 years in business himself, Richard has embraced time compression, sharing the secrets and strategies that bring rapid and lasting results to the companies he works with.

After 20 years in business and at the top of my game '08/09 hit and I lost everything. At this same time, I had a wife and six children under the age of four. As a Marine, champion boxer and black belt I'm not a fan of losing, so I had to do the hard work of determining why I failed so catastrophically. I connected all the dots (and there were a lot of them) and started to rebuild and regain success. At this same time business owners are trapped in the Owner Prison where they serve their business instead of it serving them. I show them how to Escape the Owner Prison. other entrepreneurs were watching and asking me how I did it. Next thing you know I'm helping them create their business to not only withstand hardship but begin to thrive and create a life with balance in the five most important areas of life - Faith, Family, Finances, Fitness and Friendships. I even wrote a best-selling book called Escape the Owner Prison where I detailed my story and how they can escape themselves. I learned that if I could help business owners understand the power that business ownership has, that it will not only balance their life, but it can do the same for those under their employment. That in turn transfers to their families which then influences the communities they live in. Now, do this with 10,000 Small businesses and we have the opportunity to alter the lives of millions of people for the better...
