Now a long time ago, far, far away - when I was 17, I worked for Apple. I was there for two years and they had those big super motivational posters. One of these proclaimed ‘Smile... You never get a second chance to make a first impression’ - and it made a big impression.

Thirty years or so later and the world has changed but the importance of a strong first impression has not. The problem is that for a lot of us it’s getting harder to control. Zoom Calls, Teams Calls, Webinars and Live Streams mean that our first impression got a little more technical than a power suit and a good handshake.
