Few things are inevitable in football, but Bayern Munich vs FC Barcelona has certainly felt that way in recent years. The two FCBs have an incredibly lopsided record in the UEFA Champions League, with Bayern not just winning games, but winning them by some margin, year after year, ad nauseam.

Bayern Munich thrashed Union Berlin 3-0 in the Bundesliga.

The match was never really close as the Bavarians imposed their will on Union Berlin from the outset of the match. Powered by a staunch defense and a relentless attack, Bayern Munich was able to stamp out any threat from Union Berlin and keep the vaunted defense from the visitors on their heels for the entirety of the match.

Bayern Munich got off to a winning start for the second half of the season as it downed Hoffenheim 3-0 in a match that was sometimes frustrating for fans of the Bavarians.

So...let’s talk about how this came to be...

After the disappointing second season of House of the Dragon, we had a lot of chatter about Game of Thrones, its legacy as a show, the possibilities for it going forward, etc. From that, an idea was sparked for re-watching the show and assessing if we were all vindicated for feeling so bitter about the ending...or if maybe time had healed some old wounds.

We will explore all of that and more. There are a lot of fun categories we take a look at...the good, the bad, and everything in between.

With Bayern Munich on a hiatus, there was no better time to do this and have all of our minds take a little break from what has been a crazy few weeks for the Bavarians.

The German national team destroyed Bosnia and Herzegovina 7-0 in a match that was just an all-out, thorough domination by the Germans from start to finish.

Bayern Munich traveled to the MHP Arena to face VfB Stuttgart in a match that fell at a poor time for the Bavarians.
