Felipe Bortoloti, aka Nørus and now Abysmal, is certainly one to watch from Brazil’s ultra-diverse electronic scene. Coming up through the realms of lo-fi house and techno, with a significantly sized hit in 2018 entitled ‘Make A Move’, Felipe’s sound has now evolved and continues to morph and expand, with standout releases on Gestalt, Nerang Recordings and more recently Pets Recordings sub-label Step Recordings. Felipe kindly joined us for an in-depth conversation, celebrating the diversity of Sao Paulo's electronic scene and detailing his thrilling, dark-side alter-ego - Abysmal.
