Ep 31: My Covid-Delta Experience That Ended Up In A 3-Month Podcast Break
00:28:17
Episode 31: Week by week details of my experience having Covid Delta. Not gonna lie, it was pretty horrible and felt more like I had been poisoned vs a sickness.
I decided to document this for several reasons: 1. I feel like very few people had detailed this experience, yet it has dominated our lives for 2 years...when I finally got it I was surprised no one gave me a heads up. Here's your heads up.
2. Documentation for when someone is writing up the great history of when the world shut down and governments became doctors, literally preventing REAL doctors from treating sick people, instead choosing to make money on vaccine partnerships... literally suspending doctors' licenses for writing prescriptions to help people. Special place in hell for those folks.
Along with 9/11, I hope we never forget that our governments prevented doctors from treating their own patients as best they could, and patients' families had to sue hospitals to get proper medical care.

E33. The 2 Best Kept Secrets (Unfortunately) for Longevity and Health: Traditional Chinese Medicine and CBD Combinations with Dr. Chloe Weber
00:55:34
Episode 33. Dr. Chloe Weber is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, and the most intelligent person I've ever met on the topic of TCM and CBD.
Chances are, you know someone right now who has been failed by our "Western Medicine" model of taking pharmaceuticals to feel better. The problem is that rarely does this system make time to understand why you got sick in the first place, and how to prevent it in the future.
We are now learning that the knowledge of plant-based medicine, which has been accumulating for thousands of years, is being proven with Western science. As Chloe points out, "You'll never do better than Mother Nature."
In this episode, you are going to learn about how Chloe's journey from having a rare disease to being the mom of a special needs child compelled her to start educating and helping people learn the power of traditional Chinese medicine and CBD.
Ep 34: How to Hack EMFs like Mother Nature for Better Athletic Performance with Justin Frandson
00:49:14
Episode 34: On today's episode I talk with Justin Frandson who is into hacking EMFs just like Mother Nature intended. Initially an Athleticism Performance coach, Justin started noticing that with increasing use of technology while training athletes came an unexpected decrease in performance. When he took away the devices, performance went up. Thus, his deep interest in understanding EMFs and other invisible stressors was born.

Ep 35. Help! My family has allergies and/or asthma that's getting worse—Now what? Featuring Tonya Winders, President & CEO of the Allergy & Asthma Network
00:48:16
Episode 35. Does this sound familiar?
You suddenly are allergic to everything and need to figure out why - but every doctor you go to gives you a different test result
Your child needs a stronger and stronger prescription steroid cream for eczema every year, and the doctor never asks you what they eat or what their environment is like
You have a gut feeling that the physician you are seeing does not have your best interest in mind—how can you find out who is a good allergy doctor vs one who is focused on profitability?
You have been taking medications for years, which are generic, and you can't figure out why your prescription costs are (still) through the roof.
Today's guest is Tonya Winders, President and CEO of the Allergy & Asthma Network. The information she shares today is mind-blowing in many respects, while also being actionable and incredibly helpful to anyone who is suffering or who has children suffering from allergies or respiratory illnesses.
Among many other things, Tonya will explain what the Allergy & Asthma Network does, the "Allergy March" in kids and how to recognize it, the resources available to have a real conversation with your doctor by providing you with the "right questions" to ask, and what her network is doing to protect patients from "bad actors" and unfair drug pricing.
Omega-3s for a more resilient brain with Daniel DeBaun from DefenderShield
00:53:18
Episode 36. Spoiler alert: Brain inflammation is the common theme, the thread of similarity, among many seemingly different neurologic conditions.
Tried a multitude of migraine treatments and yet nothing lasts? Have you considered that it's your environment that triggers them? There is an interesting observation in that most migraine sufferers are women, and 80% of those suffering from EMF hypersensitivity are women. Could it be that women's unique hormone physiology interacts differently with EMFs than men? Maybe. Men and women are very different biologically, and our brains are wired differently. FYI, most initial studies of the brain were done exclusively on men, by men, so no wonder men don't understand women! Oh, but I digress. Let's get on.
And then there's chronic fatigue syndrome, Lyme disease, and other brain inflammatory conditions that seem to wax and wane in their severity with no rhyme or reason—or is there?
We are in our infancy of understanding the effects of EMFs on the brain. In my last discussion with Daniel, we discussed how easily EMFs penetrate the brain and how far they can make it into children's developing brains. We touched on the idea of cell danger response, and in this episode, we explore this theory in more detail, and what it means for people suffering from migraines, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue, and other neurological conditions.
We also talk about the role that Omega-3 supplements play in helping the body learn to adjust to EMFs. We can't stop EMFs, but we can help the body become more resilient to them and potentially avoid the trigger of cell danger response.

The Biology Experiment that Took Andy Hnilo from Supermodel to Skincare Savant
00:59:10
Episode 38. Could you imagine going out for dinner with friends, then waking up in a hospital room with your jaw crushed, ribs broken, and being told your career as a model/entertainer is over?
That's what happened to my guest, Andy Hnilo. Here's the thing: he doesn't like being told what he can't do.
In what Andy refers to as his own biology experiment, he mixed together ingredients from around the world to create a truly one of a kind mask to heal his own face. And it worked. Combined with his morning tonic, which he also describes, he went from the hospital bed in March and was back for a photoshoot in June with a perfect face.
But the best part about Andy? He's actually a great human—a really nice guy who loves his family and helping others when he can.

Ep 39. Have you ever thought about where your salt comes from? Most people believe all salt comes from the oceans, but that's not true. In this case, it comes from the desert! Meet Samantha Skyring - CEO and Founder of Oryx Desert Salt.
Single mom entrepreneur Samantha Skyring took a 75-mile walk through the Namib Desert. It was there she had powerful face-to-face encounters with the Oryx Gazelle. Next came the discovery of pure, unrefined desert salt from the Kalahari. Together, these experiences were the inspiration for the Oryx Desert Salt brand.

This is that 1 Thing—The EASIEST Thing Anyone Can Do—for effortless nutrition
01:10:57
Ep 40. In this interview, Catharine Arnston, the CEO and Founder of ENERGYbits, finally gives me the answer to a question I get all the time—what is the easiest thing to do to start turning around my health? Maybe it's to clear up your skin, perhaps it's to lose weight, maybe it's to get over a chronic condition...to help heal a wound, or to stop getting every sickness your kids come home with.
Well, this is it. This is the easiest thing. This delivers the nutrients your mitochondria need to produce massive amounts of energy to start fixing all that stuff.
Most of the time your body can't fix things and your health gets worse. You start putting on weight because your body literally doesn't have enough energy to get rid of all the nasty stuff building up. It creates fat to hide the waste and toxin build-up, getting it out of your bloodstream to decrease the damage.
The thing is, it's really hard to get the right substances into the mitochondria. Like really hard. And this is easy. It gets the 4 things into the mitochondria that is needed to thrive.
Effortless nutrition. Asian countries have known about this for centuries, and Americans are just learning about it. Why? Because this substance has never been grown here.
This might just be the most surprising and important podcast you ever listen to on nutrition and how your body makes energy. If you can, I advise you to check out the video version on my YouTube or Rumble channel, because there are LOTS of visuals used in this one to explain the science.
Catharine has graciously given you, my dear listeners, a discount of 20% off her products using the code: AUTOBIOLOGY.

Episode 014: How To Improve Your Memory on The Championship Forum with Jeff Hancher
00:59:35
Episode 14. The Championship Forum with Jeff Hancher typically discusses leadership skills, but these skills can only take you so far. Having a strong memory will set you apart as a leader. Can you teach someone to strengthen their memory? Or are you stuck with your biology? Today Jeff interviews me to talk about how you can boost your memory and become a better leader.
Why should leaders care about proactively sharpening their memory skills?
Leaders are faced with a variety of emergent situations requiring them to quickly think, internalize, and recall pertinent information. Part of memory is wanting to remember. Tie it to your goals and your purpose. Understanding the mechanics of memory will help you remember people’s names, prepare and deliver speeches, and keep up with people half your age.
“It’s not always that you’re forgetting. It’s that you never took the time to learn.” - Jennifer Little-Fleck
The Science of Memory
We used to think that you were born with the number of neurons you would have forever, but now we know that neurogenesis takes place in the hippocampus. Your prefrontal cortex takes in new information and within six seconds, it decides if it is important. If your brain is interested, the memory is stored in your hippocampus. The best way to work on taking that information from short-term to long-term memory is by practicing memory retrieval.
Some ways to remember:
The testing effect
After reviewing new material, write down what you know about a subject or create a worksheet for yourself rather than just studying. Do this over and over. When you do, you are "practicing" remembering, which will allow you to recall the information more quickly and accurately than studying.
Make emotional connections
Storytelling is another way to remember things. The part of your brain that stores memories works with the amygdala, which processes emotions. Always try to make your stories positive because the brain wants to remember good things.
Employ techniques from great memory masters like Jim Kwik, who teaches the BE SUAVE technique for remembering names.
BE SUAVE:
B - Believe in your ability to remember. E - Exercise your brain. S - Say the name (or thing you want to remember). U - Use it in a sentence. A - Ask a question. V - Visualize it. E - End with it. Say their name (or the information) as you close the encounter.
Move Memory is improved with exercise and frequent movement, as it stimulates chemicals in the brain that boost neurotransmitter levels.
Visualize Creating a picture in your mind of something you want to remember is incredibly powerful, especially when you make it slightly ridiculous.
Incorporate a motor skill into your memory. FDR, a former U.S. President was known for his ability to remember names. He would imagine writing a person’s name on their forehead with his finger. By visualizing it on their forehead, he would remember it.
Optimize your health - diet does make a difference Your body functions best when it is using ketones for energy. You can create ketones through a ketogenic diet or by delaying your first meal of the day by in
Bonus Episode: JLF guest on Radiance Revealed Podcast: How to Make Your Genes Work For You
01:01:22
In this episode listen to Jennifer being interviewed by Dr. Jen Haley on the Radiance Revealed Podcast! In this episode, I was invited to discuss the world of epigenetics. Find out what exactly epigenetics are, how they work, and how you can influence them for a healthy and happier you. You no longer have to be a slave to your genetics - tune in to find out how!
Jennifer received her degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Pittsburgh and went into Transplant Research at the Thomas E. Starzl Transplant Institute soon thereafter. After performing many experiments on immune cell modulation and contributing to several scientific papers, she transitioned to working in the industry. Here, she was introduced to how research discoveries are taken to the public with the help of pharmaceutical companies. It was then when Jennifer realized that she had a passion for writing and teaching. Since then she has been involved in creating training materials for new drug therapies and working directly for drug companies for over 17 years.
In 2016, Jennifer decided to expand her knowledge base and become a freelance medical writer. She now routinely writes launch training for therapies ranging from:
acne to Alzheimer’s
gene therapy for a variety of diseases
many types of cancer treatments
as well as medical devices such as breast implants, dermal skin substitutes, and diagnostic processes for measuring gene expression, to name just a few!
As Jennifer’s knowledge base began to increase, she was surprised by the amount of basic knowledge never taught to the general public that would help people to not only better understand the nature of potential conditions, but to also help avoid them.
Plus, she learned a lot of cool things about how amazing the human body is and thought it might be fun to share them in bite-size bits through a podcast called Autobiology Bits. Autobiology is the science of studying yourself as a living organism. It’s also a great way to show how everyone works a little differently from each other. No two people “work” exactly the same way when it comes to biology – not even TWINS! Jennifer’s aim is to explain those differences and why it matters to your everyday existence in the most fun and entertaining way possible.
KEY POINTS / MAIN TAKEAWAYS:
What exactly is epigenetics and why is it such a game-changer?
Misconceptions of epigenetics.
The different influences on epigenetic changes.
How your ancestry is linked to your epigenetics.
Ways to support good methylation.
Recommended formulations of Vitamin C.
Signs of poor methylation.
Magnesium: The role it plays in the body and the recommended intake.
Is it too late to change your epigenetics?
Methylation tests: How often should you take them?
QUOTABLES:
“We thought, way back in the 90s, that if we could understand all the genes in the body, that we would totally understand how to eradicate disease and fix everybody's problems. But what we learned was that it's just a blueprint; it can be changed.”
“You could be given good genes and put them to waste or you could be given bad genes and make the most out of it. And 85 to 90% of what you do determines what genes a

Episode 17: Autobiology Kids asking What's in a pimple and what's up with toenails?
00:18:15
Episode 17: In another episode of Autobiology Kids with Daphne and Faith, we are talking pimples, toenails, fingernails, and lots of other random things!
Pimples Inside pimples there is pus = dead white blood cells. White blood cells are what fights off foreign invaders like bacteria, viruses, and other germs that cause infection
Why do we have toenails?
The main function of toenails is likely for protection, compared to enhancing grip or the fine motor functions the fingernails have.
The tops of the toes are vulnerable to injury and, as we’ve all learned the hard way, stubbing. By having a protective nail on top of the toe, the toes are less vulnerable to injury and infections.
Some slight differences in purpose are reflected in rates of nail growth. Fingernails grow around twice as fast as toenails, according to a small 2010 study.
This study of 22 healthy American young adults found that fingernails grow an average of 3.47 millimeters (mm) a month, while toenails grow an average of 1.62 mm a month.
The big toenail grows the fastest on the feet, while the pinkie fingernail is the slowest growing of the fingernails.
Fingernails have greater blood flow, in part because they’re closer to your heart.
What are fingernails and toenails made of?
Fingernails and toenails are comprised of three layers of tissue called keratin. Keratin is a tissue type that has amino acid proteins. Keratin is naturally present in your hair and nails. It’s also a component found in other animals, including horse hooves.
The way keratin cells link to form together can influence the consistency and feel of the fingernails. For example, the nail layers are made of soft, moderately hard, and hard keratin. These all come together to create the protective shield you know as your fingernails.
While the keratin cells are no longer living (which is why you can trim your fingernails and toenails), they represent formerly living cells that needed nutrients and proteins to survive.
When you consider this, it’s easy to see how deformities in the nails can indicate potential underlying problems, such as nutritional deficiencies.
Did you know that fingernails can predict health?
Fingernails may be potential indicators of underlying medical conditions. In fact, doctors frequently assess fingernails to help diagnose different medical conditions. Common nail disorders that may indicate underlying health conditions include the following:
Clubbing. Clubbing causes an extreme curve and rounding appearance to the fingernails.
Concavity. Also known as koilonychia, concavity occurs when the nails bend up at the sides, making a U shape instead of a traditional C shape.
Pincer. Pincer nails are very rounded, almost as if the nail side edges are trying to touch.
Pitting. Pitting causes multiple, shallow depressions in the nail area.
Horizontal lines. The fingernails naturally have up-and-down lines. When lines appear side-to-side and have a whitish, pale tone to the nail plate, doctors call these Muehrcke’s lines.

Episode 18: AutoBiology Kids ask How Does Our Skin Grow When We Get Taller?
00:19:08
Episode 18: Another Team Daphne and Faith episode! This time we are talking about how your skin keeps up when you start to grow and get taller - and how your hair grows, too!
Key points:
How does skin grow when you get taller?
The skin does lots of stuff for you!
It’s a barrier against chemical, physical, and biologic threats
It helps regulate our body temperature
It provides us with the ability to sense things outside the body (tactile sense)
It provides metabolic functions, such as the production of Vitamin D
It can act as a blood reservoir
It can excrete waste through sweating
The skin is made up of 2 layers: the epidermis and the dermis. There is a third layer of fat called the subcutaneous tissue, or hypodermis, that resides on top of the muscle layer.
The epidermis is the outermost layer of skin where your body creates new skin cells
The dermis is the second layer and where most protective functions of the skin occur
Desquamation is the process of skin cell turnover—shedding and replacing the epidermis.
As we discussed earlier, the epidermis has 4 major layers of cells, with a fifth layer found only in thick skin.
How does your hair grow?
You lose about 50 to 100 hairs a day
That's because the follicles don't all grow hair at the same time. Each scalp follicle grows hair for a few years and then takes a break. When a follicle is on a break, the hair in the follicle falls out. Because the follicles take breaks at different times and the other hairs keep growing, you probably don't notice when you lose hairs.
Hair grows out of little pockets in your skin, called follicles. Here's how it happens:
1. Your hair begins growing from a root in the bottom of the follicle. The root is made up of cells of protein.
2. Blood from the blood vessels in your scalp feeds the root, which creates more cells and makes the hair grow.
3. The hair gets pushed up through the skin as it grows, passing an oil gland along the way. The oil gland adds oil to the hair and keeps it shiny and soft. It can make it greasy, too. That's why you need to wash your hair.
4. The hair dies by the time it is long enough to poke out through the skin. Yes, hair is dead. That's why it doesn't hurt to get a haircut.
Hair on the rest of your body goes through this same process, but the whole cycle only lasts for a month or so. That's why body hair does not grow very long in length like the hair on your head does.
Here are some facts about follicles and your hair:
· You are born with all of the follicles you will ever have — about 5 million.
· You have about 100,000 follicles on your scalp, which is the skin on your head.
· Hair grows very fast and male hair grows faster than female hair. The only part of your body that grows faster is bone marrow, the soft stuff inside your bones. The hair on your head grows about 6 inches a year. So, even though it's one of the fastest-growing things on your body, it takes a while to grow it really long.
· Some follicles stop growing hair as you get older. This happens more in som

The Research Rabbit Hole That Led Me To Start this Podcast, Episode 26
00:42:18
Everyone has an origin story...that defining moment when one piece of new information changed everything... that point at which you realized everything you THOUGHT you knew was either wrong or only a tiny part of the bigger picture.
Once you get to that point, you can't go back. And the more you move forward, the more you find out how much you need to learn.
My journey started with a random sentence in a journal article, proposing that diseases were occurring in younger people because our food has changed. I had no idea what digging into that sentence would eventually lead me to.
Why is food different now?
Why are we getting sick at a younger age?
Why have the mortality rates in the US not changed in 100 years?
Shouldn't we be living longer with the technology and medicine we have now?
Where has food and our practice of medicine gone wrong?
What can we do to move our healthspan forward?
A lot. However, the research is not in the medical community anymore. It's in the private sector with biotech companies that are doing the research our health authorities should be doing, but are not.
And that's what is so cool about biohacking. That's what I want to share with you. Basic biology combined with cutting-edge longevity research.

Radical Roots Radical Roots was co-founded by Chloe Weber L.Ac, MSOM. A mama on a mission to bring the safest and most effective hemp oil to the market, she first created the Remy’s Revenge formula in order to help her sweet son, who has an impressively rare genetic disorder causing global delays and catastrophic epilepsy. As a medical provider, herb nerd and as a mother, Chloe knew that the current one-size-fits-all approach to hemp was not the most effective way to work with this powerful plant. Chloe joined forces with co-founder Bart Beckermann, L.Ac., and together they figured out how to potentiate t

My SHOCKING DNA 360 Report Read LIVE by Kashif Khan of The DNA Company, Episode 30
01:02:23
Episode 30. My guest is Kashif Khan, the CEO of The DNA Company. After running clinical analysis with over 5,000 diverse participants, the DNA Company has developed incredible insights about genomic expression that no other company can offer.
I suggest watching this episode on my YouTube channel if possible: https://youtu.be/wQK6en7sVJQ
What if you learned your tendency to be:
a binger
be depressed
happy-go-lucky
a fast learner
easily irritated
a poor sleeper
okay with clutter vs OCD
....was part of your genetic programming? Yes, your personality is essentially hard-wired into your brain!
What if you learned your brain's ability to deal with trauma is AMAZING and you would make a great front-line warrior? What if the opposite was true? What if you could set yourself up for success knowing how your brain is hard-wired to react?
What if you could learn what you are likely to die from IF you eat the Standard American Diet (a crappy diet) your whole life?
What if you could find out if your body can't handle excess estrogen BEFORE you spend a lifetime on the birth control pill?
What if you learned early that you make mostly the toxic type of testosterone that causes prostate and hair loss issues?
What if you found out that your body's ability to handle high-intensity cardiac activity is nonexistent BEFORE you started training for a marathon?
Life-changing, right?
Those are exactly the kinds of things I learned from my 360 report from The DNA Company.
And this information is literally saving me from early death and/or dementia.
