This retreat focused on identifying challenges faced by professionals across fisheries & wildlife careers and began discussions to help solve these challenges.

Ben West is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture and the founder of Risora Consulting.

AFS launched the Hutton Junior Fisheries Biology Program in 2001, to stimulate interest in fisheries and aquatic sciences among underrepresented groups in the fisheries profession.
