12 Apr 2022 | Transforming Illness To Wellness | 00:48:07
— “If only the transformation from ILLNESS to WELLNESS were as simple as changing the spelling: Just change "I" to "WE", and we go from ILL to WELL... Well, at the very core, there is a profound truth to be found in that "magic spell." By myself, my capacity for transformation is quite limited. I tend to repeat the same choices day after day and remain fundamentally on the same path year after year... My choices are limited by the available resources in my physical and cultural environment, as well as internally by factors such as my awareness, my attitudes, my thinking, my knowledge, my experience, and my wisdom. But, in God's wisdom, we were not placed alone, each on a separate planet. We have the benefit of interacting with family and community as well as finding teachers and mentors to guide us through the challenges we face in our personal development, spiritual growth, and physical healing. When I contemplate the course of my life, it is punctuated by those guides and mentors who opened my world to new worlds of possibility and wonder.” – says Dr. Glen Valeria interviews Dr. Glen Swartwout — co-author of “Transforming Your Life Volume IV (4): 18 Incredible Stories Showing The Strength Of The Human Spirit.” Dr. Glen Swartwout is the Wizard of Wellness, Medical Empath, Formulator, Eye Doctor, Best-Selling Author, Speaker And Developer Of The Clinical Theory Of Everything. Dr. Glen Swartwout graduated Magna Cum Laude with honors in Environmental Earth Sciences and Chemistry from Dartmouth College. He received his doctorate at the top of his class in Vision Science with honors in Optics as well as Leadership, being inducted into both Beta Sigma Kappa and the Gold Key Honor Societies. He interned at the State University of New York in Manhattan, where he trained at the largest outpatient vision clinic in the world. He served as Editor, Vice President and President of the American Optometric Student Association serving 4000 international student doctor members. He is the author of over 50 professional papers, books, and software programs. His first professional office was in Tokyo, Japan. For the last 30 years, Dr. Glen Swartwout has focused on developing his system of accelerated self-healing. The process starts with a bio-communication called Biofield Analysis, which he developed out of a variety of German Electrodiagnostic techniques. His healing ministry now spans the globe with healing clients on every inhabited continent. The methods optimize the innate healing potential of your body, independent of particular symptoms or diagnoses. He has helped thousands of people get off drugs and avoid surgery. Dr. Glen Swartwout is also available as a guest speaker and as a consultant. In his energy research, he rediscovered the frequency known in ancient China and Tibet as the Dominant Harmonic Frequency of Nature.

13 Aug 2021 | The Profound Art Of Inquiry | 00:36:59
— Inquiry is an art form. There is no formula, though it may start out that way. Julianne Eanniello always says to new trainees that, initially we will ask you to stay within a box, color between the lines, so to speak. Learn the techniques the way they are designed until they become a part of you. Then throw away the box, let your facilitation flow freely, led by presence and instinct. Meet each client exactly where they are, and join them in their exploration. Be curious about what’s really going on for them. Get yourself out of the way. Valeria Teles interviews Julianne Eanniello — a Non-Dual And Somatic Inquiry Facilitator, Trainer, And Speaker Julianne came to non-dual and somatic inquiry because she was seeking relief from the emotional pain of developmental trauma as well as physical pain and fatigue from a chronic health condition. Inquiry helped her to see that real freedom lies in facing and allowing everything she was trying to escape from. Non-dual and somatic inquiry is a safe, gentle way to explore our conscious and unconscious beliefs about ourselves and others. It involves directly facing and exploring our thoughts, beliefs and feelings with a sense of openness and curiosity, and ultimately seeing that all we are ever experiencing are thoughts and feelings appearing in the present moment. When identification with those thoughts and feelings relaxes, and we begin to accept and allow our present moment experience, we see that the peace and freedom we wanted was always here. It was just obscured. Julianne works with clients all over the world on virtually any topic, including spiritual seeking, stress, anxiety, depression, traumatic historical experiences, relationship issues, addiction, compulsion, and general unhappiness with ourselves and our lives. She does this through online sessions, deepening courses, workshops and facilitator certification training. Those facing addiction are welcome to explore The Kiloby Center’s unique program. Julianne is a warm, compassionate, highly skilled and effective facilitator and trainer. To learn more about Julianne Eanniello and her work, please visit: https://www.inquirewithjulianne.com/

04 Jan 2022 | Spiritual Authenticity: Relationships, Devotion, Euphoria | 00:56:57
— You can summarize Shamanism up in the word: RELATIONSHIPS. It is your relationship to everything – your voice, your body, your spouse, nature, literally everything. It is a way of being. It is a way of living your life. A way of seeing things. Shamanism, at its core, is all about relationships. Because of this, it is really NOT conducive to the approach of quick-fix, instant, swipe on an app, tinder-like experiences. A lot of people believe that shamanism is very theatrical, extremely visual, dramatic, powerful, sexy and trendy. It is easy to get sucked into that illusion. And it is easy to draw people in using those illusions. But Makhosi’s approach, because of her understanding of energetic principles, comes from relationships: with people, with food, with nature, with your body, and your spirit. Because she is a spirit shaman, she doesn’t work with plant medicine, she works with energetics and with the spirit of things, since everything has a spirit. True relationships are what unfolds over time. And over time, those relationships are based in DEVOTION. This is an important word for authentic shamanism. It is devotion to self and your spirit, not to something else. Rituals, tools, healings etc. are just facilitators. They are just tools and processes. True transformation unfolds over time. Some of it can be instantaneous, but lasting transformation has to be integrated into your being and who you ARE. It takes commitment and discipline developing these relationships over time. Valeria Teles interviews Makhosi Nejeser — The Royal Shaman, A Human Potential Expert, And Spiritual Ascension Master. Makhosi Nejeser is an authentic African Shaman, specializing in personal development and energetic alignment. She is a human potential expert and spiritual ascension master. Makhosi helps create powerful transformations that amplify success, and she teaches individuals how to achieve limitless abundance through synarchy for energetic alignment. Through her groundbreaking modality, The Energetics of Euphoria, Makhosi teaches her clients and Guides to ground themselves in the feeling of bliss, calling in the State of Euphoria on a whim regardless of external circumstances. A fully initiated Sanusi (Zulu Shaman), and trained in Ancient Egyptian Spirituality through the Dogon Mystery School, Makhosi now works as a Spiritual Guide & Authentic Shaman to help serious seekers fulfill their highest potential, mindfulness and metaphysics mastery through her groundbreaking modality, The Energetics of Euphoria, Makhosi works privately with highly successful individuals to create a potent pathway to a sacred and soul-fulfilling life. She’s been featured in Refinery29, Entrepreneur, POPSUGAR, Business Insider, Authority, Nicki Swift, Thrive Global, and on KTLA 5. 08 Jul 2021 | What Is Your True Calling In Life? | 00:46:10
— When we go through hard times in life it is so easy to get caught up in seeing everything with a cloud over it. This is especially true when someone has offended or hurt us deeply. We start to see ourselves as a victim and the longer we think that way, the more we lose the ability to handle situations well. Sometimes going from victim to master may require outside help. Dianne McKim has helped clients make this transition and have seen them begin a new and fresh walk-in freedom. Valeria Teles interviews Dianne McKim — a Multi-Certified Leadership, Life, Empowerment Coach, Strengths Champion Certified Coach®, Director DivorceCare for Women, Author, Speaker, Workshop Facilitator. Dianne McKim, Principal of Precious Stones Coaching, has experienced many challenging and heartbreaking life circumstances giving her a unique perspective to connect deeply with her clients. She is an abusive relationship survivor, has navigated through a long and difficult divorce which resulted in her running a household, working full time in corporate America, and raising children simultaneously as a single mom for 14 years. She has dealt with family issues, the loss of jobs, friends that came and went, family members passing away, and very low self-esteem. After her divorce, she had to rebuild her life, rediscover herself and strengthen her confidence. As she did, she learned how to stand strong in her abilities, understand her value and embrace her identity. As her confidence grew, she discovered how to have professional success, personal contentment, and spiritual fulfillment. Today she walks in the freedom she was designed and created to enjoy. Her life verse is from Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Married with 2 children, 2 step-children, and 1 grandchild, Dianne grew up in and lives in New York’s Lower Hudson Valley. She loves the beach (her true happy place), working on jigsaw puzzles, worship music, studying the Bible, and spending time with family and friends. 29 Jan 2022 | Crystal Healing in the 21st Century | 00:58:37
— Crystal Surgery is a new style of crystal healing, founded in the 1990’s by Vivien Schapera. In Crystal Surgery, the crystals are used in very specific ways as tools for “operating” on both the energy field and the energy body. The energy field is the electromagnetic force field, which emanates from the physical body and the energy body, and surrounds the physical body. The energy body is the energetic duplicate of the physical body and is made up of etheric tissue. Etheric tissue consists of “materials” from the etheric dimension, in contrast to the physical body, which is made up of materials from the earthly dimension. Valeria Teles interviews Vivien Schapera — She is a Teacher, Energy Healer, Author, Founder Of Fourwinds Academy For The Healing Arts & Sciences, A School For Training Healers. Vivien Schapera has rare expertise in each of our 3 layers of existence – the physical, the mental and the spiritual; and she specializes in translating intuitive, energetic and spiritual dynamics into practical information for celebrating life. She began her career by training first in clinical psychology, and then in the Alexander Technique, a hands-on method for retraining neuromuscular dynamics. Through this work, Vivien developed a refined sensitivity to energy, leading her to add healing to her skills. In Everyday Magic (2002 and 2020), Vivien relates how the spirit world guided her, from childhood in Apartheid South Africa, growing up with her LGBTQ brother, through coming to the USA, and founding FourWinds Academy, a school for training healers(1999). Vivien's other books include How to Lose Weight and Gain Money (2004) and Guided Lessons for Students of the Alexander Technique (2010). In 2020, Vivien published an award-winning, groundbreaking textbook, The Complete Guide to Crystal Surgery, introducing the world to a new form of crystal healing. When not teaching, healing or writing, Vivien can be found gardening, cooking and spending time with her two granddaughters. Other interests include travel, photography and making YouTube videos. Vivien lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband and two cats. To learn more about Vivien Schapera and her work, please visit: crystalhealingtechniques.com

04 Nov 2023 | Healing & Spirituality: The Human Race Will Rise Again | 01:13:05
— The human race will rise again. We were born for joy, and one day joy will return to us as spring always returns, bursting with life and light after the freezing winter. The human race will rise again as the cold hard masculine mind opens up to the soft warm spirit of the feminine as our solid frozen selves begin to melt and merge with nature again and selfishness gives way to empathy, and hierarchy to equality and the impulse to connect transcends the desire for control. The human race will rise again as our senses begin to wake from centuries of sleep and nature shines with sacredness again and we’re dazzled by the world’s pristine beauty and awed by the depths of meaning which reveal themselves beneath the old flat surface of reality. The human race will rise again, and is slowly rising now. The shift is slowly settling. Balance is returning, a new structure is emerging, a pattern of vibrant new colors and shapes with a new kind of harmony, more complex and dynamic, an order that’s stronger because it incorporates chaos, a sanity that’s deeper because it arose out of madness. The human race will rise again. The war will end, and the world will heal and life will no longer be a frenzied struggle, full of stress and fear but a glorious adventure, full of grace and ease, no longer a punishment to be endured, but a privilege to be savored. We were born for wholeness, and we will be whole again. We were born for joy, and we will return to joy. The human race will rise again. — by Steve Taylor Valeria interviews Dr. Kiran Syed — She is a licensed clinical telepsychologist in the states of Hawaii, Texas, and Vermont. 08 Jul 2021 | Aging And Living With Grace | 00:38:55
— “As Jason Elias reflects upon the health crisis now facing us, he keeps hearing Qi Bo’s gentle, insistent voice: “In the past, people practiced the Tao, the Way of Life,” he said. “They understood the principle of balance … they maintained well-being of body and mind.” The words are thousands of years old, but the wisdom is timeless. Jason knows from experience that the pathway to health and harmony is not as formidable as it may initially seem. “The brilliant gem is in our hands,” advises a favorite Zen saying. We don’t have the time to wait until, the ozone hole is mended, the groundwater is purified, and the air is once again free from contaminants. To restore harmony, we must initiate the change ourselves, taking control of our bodies and accepting responsibility for our health. If we can restore balance within ourselves, we will have taken the necessary first step to restoring balance without.” Valeria Teles interviews Jason Elias — the author of “The Seven Graces of Ageless Aging: How To Die Young as Late in Life as Possible.” Jason Elias has been in private practice since the 1970’s, treating thousands of patients by integrating acupuncture, herbal medicine, body work, and nutrition. Over a period of forty years, his professional training has included work in the United States with acknowledged leaders in the fields of psychology, the Alexander technique, massage therapy, bioenergetic therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and herbal medicine, both Eastern and Western. His passion for discovering the root of healing has taken him around the world in search of the commonalities among the healing traditions of ancient cultures: in Japan with masters of Aikido; in Hong Kong with a prominent Chinese acupuncturist and herbalist; in India, with an Ayurvedic master; and in the Philippines studying with their indigenous psychic healers. Author of several books, Jason has been the keynote speaker at conferences on health and wellness and has been a frequent guest on television, radio and podcasts. 10 May 2022 | The 8th Sense: Interoception | 00:55:01
— We know that interoception has such a vital influence on both our physical and emotional health. Our bodies are designed to send us important messages about how our body is feeling, what is the condition of our body, and that’s all happening because of this sense called interoception. Interoception is how we are feeling sensations coming from our body, telling us important information about what our body needs for health and well-being. The same holds true on the emotional side of things. These interoceptive signals are giving us clues not only to the physical condition of our body, but the emotional condition of our body. How is our emotional wellbeing? Are we feeling comfort? Are we feeling discomfort? Are we able to understand these messages coming from our body so that we know what our body needs to promote as much comfort as possible? – Writes Kelly Mahler Valeria Teles interviews Anjana Khosla — She is a Conscious Relationship/Trauma Psychotherapist & Coach, Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of CA and TN. Anjana has a deep passion for working with people from diverse backgrounds and her work is rooted in the belief that every human being deserves to be seen and live in a way that brings about peace, self-love, and a positive self-image. Anjana recognizes that this can be difficult when immersed in rigid cultural systems, exposed to trauma, and dealing with intense emotional pain. Extrinsic influences about gender, ethnicity, nationality, physical and mental capabilities, sexuality (and much more) can leave so many people questioning their own existence. In the face of this, daily living itself can feel like a challenge and leave a person feeling isolated and alone. Anjana's hope is to provide people with the support we all deserve to live as fully as possible. Anjana believes that knowing your worth is the backbone of living a healthy, authentic, and fulfilling life. She strives to support all clients and listeners in integrating all aspects of their identity in a way that is in alignment with their own personal values so that they can explore what brings them joy, define what success means to them, and create an all-encompassing definition for health. Her books, Ancient Ritual Postures (2FriendsPress, 2020), The Ecstatic Experience: Healing Postures for Spirit Journeys (Bear & Company, 2009), and Ecstatic Body Postures: An Alternate Reality Workbook (Bear & Company, 1995) are essential materials for learning the practice of ritual postures. They are the foundation for the workshops she has been teaching internationally for the past 30 years. The books have been translated into German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Polish. Her study of Jungian psychology began in college and she became a member of the Jung Association of Central Ohio from its inception in 1990. 01 Nov 2022 | Wisdom Is Healing: Redefining Our Relationship With Suffering | 00:53:51
— “Life is a good teacher and a good friend. Things are always in transition, if we could only realize it. Nothing ever sums itself up in the way that we like to dream about. The off-center, in-between state is an ideal situation, a situation in which we don't get caught and we can open our hearts and minds beyond limit. — Life's work is to wake up, to let the things that enter into the circle wake you up rather than put you to sleep. The only way to do this is to open, be curious, and develop some sense of sympathy for everything that comes along, to get to know its nature and let it teach you what it will. It's going to stick around until you learn your lesson, at any rate. — Pema Chödrön. Valeria interviews Allie Vaknin — she serves as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Orlando, Florida, working primarily with adolescents and adults who suffer from anxiety, depression, trauma, identity issues, and relationship difficulties. Allie graduated from Columbia University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, and prior to that, received degrees in Human Communication and Sociology with a minor in Leadership Studies from the University of Central Florida. A majority of her clinical experience has focused on serving individuals from marginalized and underserved communities across the country, including Miami, Orlando, [near] Los Angeles, and New York City. As the daughter of immigrants, a Colombian mother and Israeli father, her multicultural background and diverse clinical experiences have been an asset when working with issues of identity and complex trauma. Her approach focuses on helping clients develop self-understanding and learn practical skills. She believes education is a form of empowerment, so she frequently infuses opportunities for clients to learn about psychological concepts that can help them understand their own experience. She also incorporates mindfulness and self-compassion techniques, which help clients become more present and less harsh on themselves. Overall, her style of counseling can be described as supportive, empowering, insightful, collaborative, and oftentimes funny. She genuinely loves her job, and she's grateful for each opportunity to cross paths with, and support, a fellow human being. 26 Nov 2023 | Break All The Rules And Live A Healthier Life! | 00:56:18
— “In 2018, I watched a good portion of Hurricane Michael blow through Tallahassee from my front porch. As a lifelong Southerner, I’ve seen a few tropical storms and hurricanes, and find myself stuck between being in awe of the power of nature and wanting to give it a wide enough berth to show my respect. As I watched the trees in the storm, I noticed that they were doing more than just standing there. They were swaying, bending, and releasing. Even when we are rooted where we are, we can do the same thing. The storms of life can definitely push us around, but we don’t have to just stand there. Like a tree, we all sway from side to side throughout our lives to allow for this event or that unexpected change of plans. I believe that these times actually make us stronger, more cognitively nimble, and more creative. Sway when you can so that the things you do to take care of yourself can keep happening even in a storm. Swaying might mean compromising on when exercise happens so that it can, rather than letting it stop altogether. As I watched the trees bend I thought about how they were pretty stubborn and must really be committed to being where they were to withstand so much pressure and not fall over. It reminded me of those times when life gets so hectic that if we want to stay healthy in spite of it, we need to make even bigger compromises. Those trees were swaying, and they were bending, but they were also releasing some of themselves in order to stay upright. This is a loss, for sure, but one that is regained over time. Don’t be afraid to let some branches fall off your tree if it means you stay rooted in what supports your physical and emotional health. It’s likely that those things will come back in time, and the loss will be a temporary one. I believe that our roots will go deeper, and we will be stronger. If another of life’s storms is headed your way, be like a tree. Sway, bend, release, and hang on to your roots.” ~ Heather Valeria interviews Heather Fuselier aka “Healthy Heather” — She is the author of “Happy, Healthy You: Breaking the Rules for a Well-Balanced Life.” “Healthy Heather” Fuselier is a National-Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, Certified Running Coach, and employee well-being consultant specializing in helping people live healthy, balanced lives. 27 Oct 2023 | Intentional Living: Self-Care & Well-Being | 00:55:23
— Self-care is often misunderstood. While many associate it with indulgent activities like spa days and bubble baths—and these can indeed be forms of self-care—it fundamentally revolves around identifying energy drains and rejuvenating oneself to peak levels. We frequently recognize the need to decelerate, take breaks, or even relinquish some of our responsibilities. Yet, the idea of planning these respites might seem overwhelming, especially when already submerged in an overwhelming list of tasks. It's crucial to remember that it's not just physical chores that wear us out. Emotional fatigue, incessant thoughts, and a mind constantly in motion can be equally draining. Once trapped in this continuous cycle, breaking free might seem like a daunting task. Take a moment to ponder the sources of your exhaustion, both past and present. Reflect on your surroundings and the events in your life, but also introspect about mental strains. Ask yourself: Are unresolved conflicts consuming your thoughts? Do you find yourself agitated by factors beyond your control? Are past regrets or future anxieties weighing you down? In this episode, we discuss self-care, well-being, intentional living and everything else in between! Valeria interviews Jessica Matala — She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker committed to helping children, adolescents, and adults learn how to understand personal experiences in a manner that promotes awareness and enlightenment to obtain a sense of wellbeing and flourish in their everyday lives. 26 Oct 2021 | A Delightful Contemplation On Love | 00:42:05
— Is love always good? Is it true that love wins over everything? Common sense says that no matter how disastrous the outcome of a certain action, if the intention behind it is a loving one, then that action could be considered good or at least forgivable. Dr. Susi Ferrarello thinks we can do better than this. In her book, The Ethics of Love, she discusses the difficult intersection of love and ethics. Love is the most important component of our emotional life on a personal, social and interpersonal level and yet not enough education is invested in learning how to love each other in a decent, healthy way. Dr. Ferrarello shows us the importance of ethics for love in the same way as she would discuss the importance of logic for reasoning. Ethics is the heart of love in the same way as logic is the brain of reasoning. 09 Apr 2022 | Taoist Wicca: A Practical Guide To The Unseen, Ourselves, & Our Planet | 00:49:34
— Wicca is a Nature worship that assumes that duality is complementary—not adversarial. Like other opposites, evil and good coexist; they define each other. While there are such things as evil spirits, the more we focus on positive energies and build our alliances with the Spirit realm, the stronger and more protected we become. In wholism, evil is the Shadow Power of good. It is seen as wounded or misguided energy that expresses itself as negativity, cruelty, fear, greed, war, and ignorance, which harms the greater good, such as fouling the water or clear-cutting a forest. For the most part, energy is neutral by nature and guided by intention. In other words, the assumption in Wicca is that we empower what we focus on. Valeria Teles interviews Suzy Peltier — the author of “Ancient Wisdom for Modern Needs: Discovering Taoist Wicca.” Suzy Peltier, also known as Lady Red Hawk, has served the Lord and Lady as well as the principle of holism for over thirty years as a certified massage therapist, hypnotherapist, Reiki master teacher, shaman, Interfaith minister, auxiliary chaplain for UCSF Medical Center, third-degree Wiccan high priestess, and founder of the neo-Wiccan tradition of Taoist Wicca. With a background in medical anthropology and a degree in holistic health, Suzy was intrigued by the use of ritual as an ancient healing tool. She wondered, How does ritual work? What makes this ancient art form so adaptable that it was used for healing, worldwide, for thousands of years—by cultures with very different belief systems? There had to be something practical about it, so why is it virtually absent from modern culture? She wondered how ritual works and if it could be used to address the epidemic of stress and other modern ills. Could ritual help restore the balance, belonging, and empowerment missing in our current cultural values? Twenty-six years ago, she gathered a few friends together to run a unique spiritual and social experiment to explore these questions. This experiment evolved into the practice of Taoist Wicca, with practitioners and small covens across the U.S., and an email Circle list, offering an extended Wiccan and Reiki community to people across the globe. She has written and hosted two internet radio shows. Spiritually Speaking: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Needs can be found on voiceamerica.com/show/2033/spiritually-speaking and Hidden Connections: Exploring the Body/Mind/Spirit Complex produced by elevatedradiofm.com is archived on suzypeltier.com. 16 Apr 2021 | Intuition Awakening | 00:33:36
— “The most powerful step you can take on your path to intuition is acknowledging and claiming your uniqueness.” Our intuition is what makes all of us, including you, psychic, but frequently, we don't get taught how to use our intuition. Intuition is just another word to describe an inner knowing that gives us information about this world and ourselves. Despite popular belief and Hollywood portrayal, being psychic doesn’t look a certain way — doctors are psychic, lawyers are psychic, moms are psychic, children are psychic. Maybe you've already known you're psychic, or maybe this is news to you. Either way, it’s never too late to learn how to use your psychic abilities, and it is important—now more than ever—that you learn to use them because they can change the trajectory of this planet and your life. Throughout this book, we will discover our psychic talents and learn how to use them in our everyday lives. When we harness the power of our intuition, there's no limit to what we can do and create. — “Let your children know they hold magic inside, the magic of love. We must teach our children to love themselves, not in terms of high self-esteem, but in genuinely valuing their bodies, thoughts, and emotions. 18 Oct 2023 | Authenticity As An Antidote To Teen’s Anxiety | 00:57:20
— “I learned how to transform my anger, resentment, and anxiety that was fueled by my own fear of what other people would think if they knew all of our story. I started to lean into my emotions and stopped using my never ending To-Do lists to avoid feeling my anxiety. I acknowledged and began asking for what I needed. I admitted to myself and others that neither my family nor I was perfect, and guess what…the more I leaned into discomfort, the more freedom from anxiety I felt.” Valeria interviews Gina Nelson — She is the author of “Combating Teen Anxiety: Teen-Parent Communication Journal.” Gina has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 2 decades and has spent the past 25 years of her career helping individuals and families learn to adapt and cope with difficult life transitions. She is the creator of Combating Teen Anxiety; her proven 10-step method to reduce teen anxiety and give teens the skills to manage their emotions so that they can succeed in their future goals. She created this parent and teen communication journal designed to give teens the language and tools to express themselves with their parents when conversations are difficult to discuss in person. In addition to this journal and working with people in her private practice through online training programs, virtual coaching nationwide, and in person and online psychotherapy in California and Idaho, she also offers corporate workshops and keynote speaking. Her expertise is in teaching teens and adults to catch their anxiety before it gets out of control, and to practice owning, speaking, and releasing their emotions in a more productive way. As a Certified EMDR Therapist, her specialized training helps decrease client’s negative beliefs that fuel their anxiety, and provide them with a new perspective. Her experience as a Certified Daring Way Facilitator™ encourages clients to embrace vulnerability as a necessary step for shame resilience and connection. Gina’s clinical expertise combined with her personal journey raising 3 kids through their challenges and her son’s gender transition, is what really helps her connect on a deeper level and transform the lives of her clients. 20 Jun 2022 | Healthy Living: Mindfulness & Intuitive Eating | 00:46:26
— In this episode will discuss mindful eating, intuitive eating and the most common cognitive distortions. How many times have you reached for the snacks at a party and munched through them without thinking, or ordered dessert even though you were already full, just because it looked so good? We eat for many reasons - because we’re stressed or feeling sad, because we feel like we deserve a treat or simply because it’s our scheduled mealtime. Eating mindfully is about expanding our awareness around food habits, so that we can make more conscious decisions about what we eat and when. According to Jan Chozen-Bays, MD, author of the book ‘Mindful Eating’, there are seven different types of hunger relating to different parts of our anatomy. Once we are more aware of these different types of hunger and their reasons, we can respond consciously and more appropriately to satisfy them. — source: Londonindful.com Valeria interviews Chelsea DiCicco — She is the owner of Chelsea Dicicco Counseling Services, LLC. She is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Connecticut, and she provides individual therapy services to adults struggling with anxiety, depression, life changes and transitions, trauma, disordered eating behaviors, and body image. Chelsea attended the University of New Haven for both her Bachelor's and Master’s degrees, and started her career doing in home therapy with children and families. After that, she went on to work at an outpatient eating disorder clinic. In 2018, Chelsea decided her next move was to start her own private practice, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience that she is grateful for every single day. Starting therapy can be a really new and scary experience for many. Chelsea believes that a therapeutic relationship is a very special and unique type of relationship that can allow for and facilitate self-reflection, self-growth, and self-love. A therapeutic relationship can allow you to be vulnerable without judgment, and creates a safe space for you to explore your truest self. Chelsea’s goal in her practice is to provide relief from emotional distress, and to work with her clients through the difficult process of healing. Her therapeutic approach is strength based and client-centered, meaning she is here to support her clients, and want to hear their story. 04 Dec 2021 | Trauma Does Not Have To Define You | 00:49:00
— “The pain of life is pure salt – no more, no less. The amount of pain in life remains exactly the same. But the amount of pain we taste depends on the container we put it into. When you are in pain, the only thing you can do is enlarge your sense of things Stop being a glass. Become a lake.” Childhood sexual abuse is the most traumatic of all wounds, for it is a betrayal at the very root of our being. It turns us against ourselves in such a way that, more often than not, victims become convinced that the fault is theirs. To find a way back from that injury, to prevail and rise above it, is to do the seemingly impossible. In Anne de Nada’s book: Twisted Roots, Standing Tall, she recounts her long dance from the darkness of the soul into the love and light of an open heart, as she courageously heeds her soul's insistence and clears away her legacy of trauma from both infant sexual abuse and incest. Born into both emotional and economic poverty, Anne's early life consisted of only obstacles and challenges. But she never gave up, and she continually trusted in her own guidance, being rewarded with insight and wisdom. Whenever it felt like her life was not flowing, she took that as a sign that it was time to do more healing, clearing away the trauma that lay embedded deep in cellular memory. Anne's story speaks to the gift of grace and the indomitable courage of the human heart. As Anne continued to heal, she discovered many essential truths about life, among them that we are never given something we cannot handle, that life is about manifesting the deepest desires of our hearts, and that the thing we most fear is our own greatness. Valeria Teles interviews Anne De Nada — the author of “Twisted Roots, Standing Tall: My Journey to Heal, Learn, and Rise from the Trauma of Childhood Sexual Abuse.” Anne de Nada is an author, speaker, artist, poet and advocate for awareness of sexual violence. Having been orphaned and left destitute at 16 years old, she transcended her trauma to attain an education and become a successful businesswoman and world traveler. Today, de Nada is a healer in her own right, and her purpose is to inspire others to heal their lives and to bring more light and love into the world for the benefit of all humanity. She has also written “Whispers of Grace: Volume I” and “Whispers of Grace: Volume II,” which showcase her art and poetry. To learn more about Anne De Nada and her work, please visit: annedenada.com

24 Mar 2023 | A Daily Movement Routine That Is Different Every Day! | 00:50:38
— There is a daily routine created by Michael Landau that is different every day. A habit of moving with awareness is what he wants to learn. The attitude is more important than the action. This involves slowing down, observing closely, and stopping the rat race. By reducing effort, increasing efficiency and not hurting yourself, you are giving yourself the opportunity to improve. We rarely take the time to do those things. Our bodies are not well-cared for by most of us. Our bodies constantly send us tiny feedback messages, which we usually ignore. The nervous system seems to need a reminder of how to listen to itself. When we were young, we all mastered this art. Lifting our heads, rolling over, crawling, and walking all came from this experience. Playing, listening, and trying many options and variations, we were attentive and curious. Learning organically takes place in this way. As adults, we seem to have lost sight of this fine and subtle art in our busy lives. It is difficult for us to reexamine our habitual patterns and take a break from them. Unlike so many of us, Michael has learned to balance the need to explore, to play, to slow down and try new things with the lack of time and peace of mind he suffers from. Creating a habit is the key to success here. His research showed that short breaks - a couple of minutes - during which you get up, stand up, make some deliberate slow movements, and then sit back down at the computer are actually quite effective. As long as you do it every day: three minutes. A tiny habit can have a huge impact. To make it manageable, you make it tiny. To make it effective, you must make it constant — and big changes begin to happen! Valeria interviews Michael Landau — He has been a Feldenkrais practitioner since 1994. This means that he teaches Mindful Movement, and uses the minute exploration of movement to create well-being and growth. He teaches people to take better care of themselves by developing finer and more precise awareness of themselves as they move through life. As the pandemic forced him to move all his teaching activities online, he developed a daily online practice of movement with awareness that is only three minutes long. It started as an experimental venture into the unknown, and it became a stunning success. Benefits build up and accumulate over time if you give yourself those three minutes each day. Creating the daily habit of stepping out of the hamster wheel, slowing down and looking at yourself with gentleness and care has proven to be highly transformative. Michael was a professional musician and university professor for 30 years. He has navigated through a long path of Buddhistic practice, shamanic studies, and all sorts of personal growth and healing processes. All these experiences inform his teachings and turn them into a holistic approach of self care, wellness and growth. 29 May 2020 | Life: The Ever-Changing, Flowing River | 01:04:10
Most people think they are in control of their life, but life just happens, and every single decision that you make as it unfolds shapes how you experience it. You navigate your life, making choices as you are faced with your experiences, and you have free will to surrender or resist. You can choose to follow the higher wisdom of your soul or keep blindly seeking to control how your life unfolds. Life is always in flow, continually changing and evolving. You can learn from it or fight it. Imagine for a moment that life is like an ever-changing, flowing river. As it encounters obstacles, it changes it course and does not resist or fight them. It flows around obstacles in its path with patience and ease, unconstrained by its surroundings. It adapts. Approach your life as if it were flowing water, and learn to adapt to its vicissitudes instead of resisting or fighting them.
Valeria Teles interviews Claudia Velandia. She is the author of WAKE UP! : How to Get Out of Your Mind, Stop Living on Autopilot, and Start Choosing Your Best Life. Claudia Velandia is inspired to inspire people to connect and align with their essence so they can experience life fully, without limitations, and together contribute to the well-being of the world. Nine years ago, she found herself hitting rock bottom. She was living in the motions of living. She didn't like what she was doing with her life and where it was heading. She felt without purpose and meaning. She was looking to escape from her mind and her emotions. Her outlets were working, partying and dating. But all that they did was deepening her suffering. To get out of her own way, she started working on herself and looking within. She opened the connection with her spiritual path. She began to make changes and not allowing herself to get in the way of living her best life. Now that she is on "the other side," she can recognize how all of it was created on her mind. She was living as on autopilot. She began to realize that individuals are suffering because they are living so much in their minds. They are also limiting their potential as they continue living from a conditioned perspective —they are in the box that is also impacting their well-being. Her observations lead her back to school and become a Certified Conscious Leadership Coach and the founder of Quantum Thinking. It inspired her to write this book.

16 Aug 2021 | The Dance of Synchronicity & Wholeness | 00:44:21
— Our collective behaviors could shift very subtly yet result in far-reaching changes. The more we understand our own filters, the more we will respond with compassion rather than vindictiveness, the more we will be authentic rather than guarded, and the more we will persist in our inner struggle for the world we want to experience. When we decide to acknowledge and heal our inner reactivity, we put ourselves on a trajectory where useful opportunities may be more likely to happen to us. These are called synchronicities, and they serve to help us grow into the people we become. They are not positive but self-reinforcing reflections of who we are. Valeria Teles interviews Sky Nelson-Isaacs on the book: “Leap to Wholeness: How the World Is Programmed to Help Us Grow, Heal, and Adapt.” Sky Nelson-Isaacs is a theoretical physicist, speaker, author, and musician. He has a master’s degree in physics from San Francisco State University, with a thesis in String Theory, and a BS in physics from UC Berkeley. Nelson-Isaacs has dedicated his life to finding his own sense of purpose, beginning as a student of the Yogic master Sri Swami Satchidananda when he was less than five years old. His writing on topics like flow comes from integrating this experience into his life. He brings together the connection between synchronicity, physics, and real-life using research and original ideas. An educator with nine years of classroom experience, Nelson-Isaacs is also a multi-instrumentalist and professional performer of award-winning original musical compositions. 07 Dec 2022 | Kindness As An Antidote To Envy, Bullying & Anger | 00:52:10
— Tall Poppy refers to someone who is noticeable successful, defined as wealthy, prestigious, influential, ranked, or even born, and who may attract hostility, envious attention, or malice. Tall Poppy Syndrome (TPS) is the psychological condition where some people hold someone in contempt in order to cause them to fail or to suffer disgrace by "trim" (cutting) him or her "down to size". Even though TPS has been documented in most countries using a variety of metaphors, words, and phrases, it is rarely mentioned in the United States. In sharing Douglas’ experiences with others and writing about Tall Poppy Syndrome, he helps readers learn about this syndrome. Tall poppies are described in his book in detail, with a section devoted to their societal benefits. The book also describes emotions such as bullying and schadenfreude, which are similar to TPS, as well as examples of Tall Poppies and Fallen Poppies, including Fallen Poppies cut by the U.S. government. Valeria interviews Douglas Garland — the author of “ The Tall Poppy Syndrome: The Joy of Cutting Others Down.” Dr. Doug Garland practiced orthopedic surgery in Southern California for 37 years. He is a Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Southern California and published more than 110 peer-reviewed scientific articles. After experiencing the tall poppy syndrome (TPS) firsthand, Dr. Garland began a 10-year journey researching TPS. This exploration began in Ancient Greece, where the syndrome was first described, to modern times and involved various countries, customs, and cultures. Specific emphasis was directed towards Australia where TPS is a cultural pastime. To his surprise, it was recognized everywhere in one form or another except in America. After studying America's emotional-cultural behavior, Dr. Garland concluded that TPS was prominent in America, perhaps more so than in any other country, but it is unrecognized. Emotional behaviors of the cutter and cutter were identified. 27 Dec 2022 | ANR: Treating Opiate Addiction With Exceptional Results | 00:51:38
— Dr. Andre Waismann provides treatment for opiate addiction with ANR and has achieved unparalleled results. The ANR treatment became the most effective and safe way of treatment that allows patients to be free from opiate dependency and its side effects, withdrawals, and craving. ANR has helped over 24,000 patients worldwide. One of the more notable treatment happened in 1998 when Dr. Waismann helped a 6-year-old child that became opioid-dependent after a brain tumor removal. Opiate addiction is a disease of the central nervous system. It’s not a personality disorder. It’s a disease. A disease that is highly treatable. Dr. Waismann’s vision for the future treatment of opiate addiction mirrors that of a dentist appointment. Where individuals would walk into their local hospital, announce that they have an opiate addiction, and would be treated right there on the spot. It’s for this reason that he has expressed no desire to patent his method. He wants everyone who is in need of this life-saving treatment to have access to it. Whether it is with him and his team, or not. Even though that vision seems a way off, Dr. Waismann persists in his activism, and has taken his plight worldwide. From the early 1990s until today, the ANR method has spanned continents in its reach. From Italy to Australia, Indonesia to the United States, over 20 countries, and countless patients have been positively impacted, and their lives forever changed by the work of Dr. Waismann. Valeria interviews Dr. Andre Waismann — He is the Developer of ANR, an Opiate Addiction Specialist, ICU Physician, and Speaker Dr. Waismann has spent the last thirty plus years working in the medical field in a variety of positions in several facilities ranging from Intensive Care Medicine Physician to Consultant to Medical Director, as well as Chairman and Chief of ANR clinics throughout the world. He specializes in Opiate Dependency and is most notably known for developing the ANR (Accelerated Neuro-Regulation) treatment of Opiate dependency. He has helped more than 24,000 patients globally overcome opioid dependency with this groundbreaking procedure. Passionate in his mission, he is determined to help people understand that opioid dependency is a treatable medical condition, giving lectures and presentations to numerous universities, medical centers, and congresses. Additionally, Dr Waismann is awaiting publication of his book “Changing of the Guards” which challenges the current policies on drug dependency. — As grief has taken up residence in who we are…. Meghan Smith Brooks decided her only option is to make friends with grief since they hang out so much together. She realizes it is a lifetime relationship whether she likes it or not. "There is no "getting over grief" as our culture seems to want to push us into believing, so we can get back to "normal". 06 Mar 2022 | Finding Your Happy | 00:58:49
— DEDICATION: To LOVE — Because that’s all there is. In the end, you realize that to find the ultimate peace, the entire journey is about discovering ourselves, who we are meant to be in this world, how to be more loving, kind and compassionate toward ourselves and others. We learn the interconnectedness of all things and the only way to this place is to honor our authentic selves, to be okay with our imperfections and to have the courage to heal and love anyway. Sometimes the journey is arduous, but unless we are willing to find our way back to wholeness, life will always seem disconnected and fractured. It is only in learning to slow down, lean into healing and surrender ourselves entirely, that we find our true strength, self-love, and the deep connection we all seek.

07 Jun 2020 | The Healing Power of Journaling | 00:53:01
The benefits of journaling are multi-faceted, and vary between individuals. If you have a chronic illness, you may find that the symptoms become less troublesome. Expressive writing has helped people suffering with asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, IBS, and lupus – even cancer and AIDS. It helps many people with different long- term illnesses, because it boosts the immune system. This book evaluates and presents the medical evidence for journaling, which has been steadily growing over the past thirty years. If your life is highly pressured, journaling is an excellent stress- management tool. Stress is a huge factor in many physical and mental health problems and compromises the immune system. Therapeutic writing appears to have a protective effect against stress and possibly acts as a release valve. Journaling helps you manage your life and avoid burnout. If you have many responsibilities at work and at home, and have to juggle the needs of children or elderly parents with a demanding career, you can easily become weary. Paradoxically, therapeutic writing will help you avoid exhaustion by learning to prioritize tasks and care for your own needs holistically. You will learn to live life proactively and mindfully so that you are not just responding to each and every crisis with a knee-jerk reaction. – says Mari L. McCarthy
Valeria Teles interviews Mari. Mari L. McCarthy is the Founder and Chief Empowerment Officer of CreateWriteNow.com, partners with health-conscious people to use Journaling For The Health Of It™ to heal the emotional, mental, physical and spiritual issues in their tissues and experience, empower and express their True Self. 25 Apr 2022 | The Well Woman: Love, Grace & Freedom | 00:38:32
— I woke up hot and sweaty in the middle of a sweltering August night. I could not get back to sleep, so I decided to go downstairs to get a drink of water. Halfway down, I heard voices and whispers: first, my mother’s; then, a strange man’s. Startled, I stopped, sat down in the dark on the worn attic steps, and listened. I couldn’t make out everything they said because my mother was crying. I had never heard her cry. I leaned forward, hoping to hear more. “They’re coming to take the kids away tomorrow,” she said. I shivered in spite of the heat. Questions tumbled through my seven-year-old mind. Who was coming? Was I one of the kids? Why were they taking us? Where were they taking us? The hushed voices continued, but fear forced me back to bed. All thoughts of my original purpose for getting out of bed had vanished and been replaced with terror. I tossed and turned for hours before I fell asleep again. I woke up early, my room still dark. I wanted to tell my four sisters and five brothers, who shared the attic with me, what I had heard the previous night. But if I repeated it, it would be true, not some awful nightmare. So, I kept silent. On that fateful day in 1955, my world changed forever…. 09 Jun 2023 | Coming Home To Your Authentic Self — A Place Of Belonging | 00:57:49
— “The term transfiguration points to the radical change that unfolds holistically when we seek to transform our trauma. When we are transfigured, we, too, become illumined in body, mind, spirit, and soul. This means we become conscious, aware, and connected to our thoughts, emotions, and body sensations; we become reconnected to our embodied senses. We come to know ourselves intimately—psycho-emotionally, physically, and spiritually, as we navigate our embodied interior landscape. We become more spiritually attuned with ourselves, others, and the whole of creation. We undergo a transformation on multiple levels of our personhood, and through this transformational process, we become our authentic selves—and we inevitably encounter the Divine Indwelling, the Infinite, or Mystery. We come to understand we are not separated from the divine, one another, or creation. Through our transfiguration, we become who we are meant to be; and, in doing so, we come home to our authentic selves—a place of belonging.” Valeria interviews Ava Dasya Rasa — She is the author of “Transfiguration: 30 Meditations Inspired by Transforming Trauma & Spirituality.” Ava Dasya Rasa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW-C, Transpersonal Psychotherapist specializing in Trauma, Grief, and Contemplative Spirituality & Renewal. 25 Apr 2022 | The Fresh Test: Healthy & Conscious During Pregnancy | 00:27:35
— "Women are becoming increasingly health conscious; especially during pregnancy. Pregnant women should question all that they consume (e.g. caffeine, alcohol and even strong cleaning agents) to protect their womb. We should also question traditional glucose beverages that were invented in the 1960s; when the use of BVO, Artificial Dyes, Artificial Flavoring, BHA, Sodium Bonzoates and GMOs were commonplace. The Fresh Test has exactly 50-grams of glucose yet is void of unnecessary additives. It's also delicious! This is a product the whole family would love. When given an option, 9 out of 10 women choose The Fresh Test over pharmaceutical brand glucola." – writes Dr. Ralph Mayer Valeria Teles interviews Jacqueline Ramsey — she is the founder of The Fresh Test, LLC – a natural FemTech company based in Los Angeles. She started her career in Fortune 500 medical companies. Although she respects Big-Pharma, she hopes Fresh Test’s spike in market share will ignite a shift away from earnings calls. She is backed by a medical board of advisors ranging from OBGYN’s, dieticians, midwives, and medical doctors in her pursuit of strengthening the patient voice & bringing mother-nature back into products. Jacquie was inspired by her first-born son. When she was pregnant with her son, she was at a loss looking for healthy alternatives for the glucose load test. She could not believe there were so many women who were seeking healthier alternatives, yet there were no options for which providers were advocating. When her son was 6 months old, she decided to leave an international job, where she flew to a new country every couple of weeks. It was her dream job but it felt wrong leaving my growing family at home. She decided she could still have a dream job – she knew she needed to create it, though. With her baby by her side, she started creating a product she longed for during her pregnancy, so other mothers would not have to go through the same battles. 26 Sep 2020 | From Victim To Empowered Living | 00:56:49
Valeria interviews Mariette Jansen. She is a life coach, psychotherapist, meditation teacher, blogger, and speaker. She obtained a PhD in Communication Science in The Netherlands and worked in corporate organizations. Mariette retrained after the birth of her eldest son, when she qualified as a psychotherapist, a counselling tutor and a meditation teacher. After ten years, she decided to focus her client work more on action and goals and has worked since 2011 as a successful life coach. Mariette always knew that something was wrong, but couldn’t find what it was. Her parents kept on telling her she was the one who was wrong. But, Mariette knew it couldn’t be just her. Growing up in a dysfunctional family took its toll. One of Mariette reactions to her situation was to develop an eating disorder, Bulimia Nervosa, which lasted 22 years. Although Mariette now realizes that she grew up in a narcissistic family she only started to understand the full extent of her situation in her late 50’s. Her mother, her main narcissist, was the most important person in her life and most of her actions were inspired by the wish to please her and be on the receiving end of love, acceptance and respect. It never happened. As a result of her own realization, Mariette discovered narcissism and how it plays out. It was an eye-opener and a sanity-saver. All of a sudden, clarity hit and life made sense. It got easier to understand how to deal with it all and apply the behaviors that would support her on-going happiness and well-being.

08 Apr 2022 | Shamanic Healing: A Path To Wholeness | 00:39:47
— Shamanic healing includes a huge body of ancient wisdom “technologies” for engaging nonphysical beings in the spirit realms to assist humans in healing, evolving and harmonizing ourselves, our communities and our relationship to All That Is. “We are on the brink of a phenomenal healing revolution with new, radical understanding and breakthrough technologies emerging continually. I desire to spark your imagination and fuel your inquiry into the realms of spirit-based energy healing and to wish you well as a fellow traveler through the Great Mystery of Being.” – Judith Valeria Teles interviews Judith Hoaglund — She is the author of “Embody Wholeness: Journeys into Energy Healing, Altered States and the Quantum Field.” To Judith Hoaglund, guiding people in deep personal healing, self-discovery and empowerment is her life’s passion. Over the past 3 decades, she has studied and employed a wealth of both ancient and modern techniques to promote healing on all levels of being. In addition to traditional shamanic techniques of energy work such as cleansings, extractions and entity removal, she utilizes guided hypnosis journeys to facilitate her client’s connection with helping spirits and guides. These light-filled beings assist in performing soul retrievals, healing trauma, PTSD and illness, clearing energy blockages, past life trauma and impediments, ancestor healing, unbinding spells, curses and unhealthy connections, and more. Every one of us carries archived trauma, either personal, ancestral, transpersonal or all three. To be born into a physical body is to inherit some form of trauma. The energy blockages created by this suffering, sooner or later, create illness. In working through these layers of challenges, Judith has travelled extensively and worked with numerous healing modalities including Sufi mysticism, Andean shamanism, Reiki, breathwork, meditation, hypnotherapy, plant medicine and with a variety of Native and shamanic healers. Yet it has been through guiding and assisting others toward healing that her creative gifts have blossomed. She has been inspired to create a synthesis of techniques that open the doors for clients to receive extensive personal and family healing, as well as enduring spiritual guidance that transforms their lives. Energy healing and shamanic techniques open us to the realms of quantum reality that are potentially unlimited in scope and are thus effective both in person and remotely. In her private practice, Judith works with clients by guiding them through deep, introspective journey work at her home in Sonoma County, California. She also offers session by phone and internet. Her recent book details step-by-step guidelines that anyone can follow to learn these healing techniques, and she also offers workshops for in-person training of shamanic healing.

22 Aug 2020 | Life After Life: Endless Consciousness | 00:45:33
“There are good reasons to assume that our consciousness does not always coincide with the functioning of our brain: enhanced consciousness can sometimes be experienced separately from the body. Dr. Pim Van Lommel has come to the inevitable conclusion that most likely the brain must have a facilitating and not a producing function to experience consciousness. By making a scientific case for consciousness as a nonlocal and thus ubiquitous phenomenon we must question a purely materialist paradigm in science. Moreover, recent research on NDE seems to be a source of new insights into the possibility of a continuity of our consciousness after physical death.” — Valeria interviews Dr. Pim Van Lommel, the author of Consciousness Beyond Life: The Science of the Near-Death Experience. Dr. Pim Van Lommel was born in 1943, graduated in 1971 at the University of Utrecht, and finished his specialization in cardiology in 1976. He worked from 1977-2003 as a cardiologist in Hospital Rijnstate, a 800 beds Teaching Hospital in Arnhem, the Netherlands, and is now doing full-time research on the mind-brain relation. He published several articles on cardiology, but since he started his research on near-death experiences (NDE) in survivors of cardiac arrest in 1986 he is the author of over 20 articles (most of them in Dutch), one book and many chapters about NDE. In 2005 he was granted with the Dr. Bruce Greyson Research Award of the International Association of Near-Death Studies (IANDS). In 2006, the president of India rewarded him the Life Time Achievement Award at the World Congress on Clinical and Preventive Cardiology in New Dehli. His Dutch book ‘Endless Consciousness’ was nominated for the ‘Book of the Year 2008’ in the Netherlands. In 2010 he received the 2010 Book Award van de Scientific and Medical Network, and in 2017 he received the Elisabeth Kübler-Ross Award by the Dutch Society of Volunteers in Palliative and Terminal Care (VPTZ). In November 2007 his book ‘Endless Consciousness’ (Eindeloos Bewustzijn) was published in The Netherlands, which is a bestseller with more than 150.000 copies sold (25th edition). His book was published in Germany in 2009 (already the 10th edition), and it has been published in the English language by Harper Collins in 2010, entitled: Consciousness beyond Life. The science of the near-death Experience. In 2011 the Polish edition was published, the Spanish translation was published in March 2012, and in May 2012 his book was published in France. In December 2015 the book was also published in Latvia, in January 2017 the book was published in Italy, and in February 2019 the book was published in Hungary. In 2020 the book will also be published in China and in Russia.

— “When our values and actions align, we can find more peace.” Valeria interviews Kristen Quinones — she is a licensed clinical social worker. Kristen just started her very own private practice this month offering adults virtual individual and group psychotherapy. Kristen’s early career experience was working with homeless, runaway, and foster care youth as well as teens at risk of incarceration. She then transitioned into a more clinical role, providing psychotherapy to individuals and families addressing a variety of mental health and relational issues. Over the last five years Kristen has been working in a group private practice specializing in anxiety disorders such as panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and OCD. There she worked with clients but also supervised interns and other clinicians, which was a valuable teaching experience. After this past year in a management role, Kristen decided to start her own private practice- an opportunity to be creative and grow something special of her own. Kristen’s vision for her practice is to help others build their mental health through authenticity. In living authentically, there is alignment between values, emotions, and actions. Practicing within this framework helps Kristen teach her clients not only to manage difficult emotions but also build the lives they want and find more peace. 10 Apr 2020 | Non-Denominational Poetry in Christ | 00:54:38
“Support is what’s needed, In humanity's soul. To create a completed, Feeling of whole. If love is tangible, Anything possible. Our hearts are what’s full, And nothing is stopping you...” ~ Poem by Jamie Carr This episode is about healing, resilience, courage and Non-Denominational Poetry in Christ and will be listening to Jamie Carr who is an author and poet. Jamie grew up an intelligent, happy child. In the first week of seventh grade, however, he began to indulge in drinking and smoking weed until the night he got into a car accident when he was nineteen. He was in a coma immediately. Jamie had suffered a brain injury and lost all physical mobility on the entire right side of his body. Jamie spent the next three and a half years in therapy—physical, occupational, and speech. To improve his mind, he began reading and writing daily. Knowing that he’d damaged his memory, he made notecards of words he didn’t know while he was reading and studied them while walking everywhere. When he is not at the gym training with his friend Sid, Jamie is devoted to reading and writing poetry and reading the Bible, Newsweek, National Geographic, etc. Jamie credits writing poetry with improving his mind, and he enjoys how it taps into the creative part of his brain. After eighteen years, he wrote God a nondenominational book. Knowing that he writes poetry for Jesus, his friends informed him of an ad published by TBN. Jamie sent them a transcript on a Wednesday and received a response by Friday that they were interested in publishing his work. Now he is the only published poet by TBN!

17 Jan 2024 | Why Self-Love Beats Perfectionism Any Day | 00:56:11
— There is a simple, powerful antidote to the core problematic emotions that fester within your heart: self- love. Self-love is the key that opens the door of consciousness transformation; because of this, much of Simon’s, Self Salutation’s work is rooted in connecting you to your capacity for self-love. Once you have tended to your negative feelings in this way, the Self Salutation then offers you a means to reestablish yourself in a healthy stance toward others and life. Valeria interviews Simon Timm — He is the author of “An Introduction to the Self Salutation: A Mindfulness Meditation Series.” Simon Timm is a mindfulness and meditation teacher and the author of the book An Introduction to the Self Salutation: How to Resolve Negative Emotions Through Mindfulness Meditation. Simon spent most of his college years battling depression. Unwilling to spend the rest of his life on medication, he searched for another way of living with himself after college. The way he found was meditation. Simon moved into a Hindu ashram and spent sixteen years as a monk. When he left the monastic life in 2011, he recognized the need for a meditation practice to help resolve the negative feelings within him—rather than just help lift above them. This prompted him to explore different modalities of personal transformation and ultimately to develop the Self Salutation. He also earned a Masters in Religion from Yale at that time. Simon currently lives with his spouse, Allyson, in the Washington, DC metro area. 28 Jul 2022 | Why Grief is Like Golf | 01:03:58
— Grief continues to give me opportunities to learn and grow. It teaches me to live with a heart full of gratitude and to learn to love others and myself more. It allows me to live my purpose, which is to help you on your journey. Do you realize that you change every day of your life? Each thought, experience, choice, and response creates change in you. In other words, you will either evolve or devolve in your daily existence. You have the opportunity to change for your good. How? By making conscious choices to enhance your body, mind, and soul. Realize you are always in a state of “becoming what you think.” So what are you thinking? Even in the midst of difficult times and grief, there is always something beautiful to be found. – Says Robin Valeria interviews Robin Chodak — the author of “Ten Grief Lessons from Golf.” Robin left her job after 20 years as a computer software systems analyst following the suicide of her husband Steve in 2005. In the midst of grief, she started a spiritual journey of self-discovery, which ultimately led to her transformation. After the suicide she started to write. At first it was personal letters to Steve. It helped her stay connected and at the same time it was therapeutic. She also began to write stories about grief, which are published in various grief and suicide journals. In 2017 she published, "Be Gentle with Me, I'm Grieving" which won a book excellence award and also published "Moving to Excellence, A Pathway to Transformation After Grief." Grief continued to enter Robin’s life. On September 28, 2019 she lost her beloved husband Dr. Gerald Chodak unexpectedly in their home. It was another sudden death, which caused grief trauma. It led her to publish a 3rd book that she had written 3 years prior regarding inner peace entitled, "3 Must Have Connections for Inner Peace." In 2021 Robin launched her new online program that teaches and certifies you to become a Grief Coach. Robin’s expertise is in coaching clients, speaking, writing books and teaching through online grief courses. Robin is a trained facilitator for AFSP (American Foundation for Suicide Prevention), The founder of Facebook Suicide Recovery, owner of Robin Chodak Coaching and Grief Healing LLC, Certified Grief, Life, Spiritual Coach, Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, International Speaker, Certified Reiki Practitioner, Certified Master NLP Practitioner, Author of 4 books and Creator of Online courses available on Udemy.com.
