In today’s episode, I’m diving into a topic that I don’t think is talked about enough—what it truly means to be both a successful business owner and a mum. Recently, I was watching a TikTok where a small business owner mentioned feeling like there’s a gap in the narrative. She pointed out that we don’t hear enough women openly discussing the sacrifices that come with balancing motherhood and business. That really hit home for me.

I’m sharing my own journey today—from selling my wedding planning business after my first child, to starting Socialiesd and Golden Brands while raising young kids. It hasn’t been easy. I’ve faced emotional and physical challenges, feelings of guilt, and the constant juggle of wanting to be present with my children while also working hard to grow my business.
