Avery and Lena, hosts of the 90's Tunes podcast, recently listened to and reviewed Spacehog's Resident Alien, the debut album.

Influenced by glam rock artists of the 70s, like T.Rex, Bowie, and Queen, they made a commercially plausible pitch that distinguished them from their peers. "In the Meantime," the lead single from their first album Resident Alien, topped Billboard's mainstream rock chart for four weeks. The band became local celebrities and recurring characters in the international tabloids. Although the album has great songs, the record is best remembered for "In the Meantime."
