Riverdale road runs 11 miles between Thornton and Brighton Colorado, and legend has that it's one of the most haunted roads in America AND is home to the "Gates of Hell!" In 1888, amateur archaeologist Richard Wetherill and his brother rediscovered Cliff Palace at Mesa Verde - one of the most significant North American archaeological finds in history.
