05 Apr 2022 | The Metaphysics of the Menstrual Cycle and Menopause with Tracey Stevens | 00:54:30
How does the universe and cosmos, the earth, our environment and the people around us influence our menstrual cycle and menopause experience? As within, so without, as above, so below. My guest Tracey Stevens is an emotional root cause health practitioner and sees a strong connection between the universal flow and chaos around us playing out in human health - which can impact our menstrual health and menopause. The cycles of nature and of our body have evolved to be in tune and in coherence with our environment: the rotation of the earth, the influence of the moon and other planets. The larger cycles are still moving in synchronous harmony, but our body, and both physical and emotional environment have become disharmonised, out of balance, non coherent. Over generations the imbalances show up more and more in our hormones. In our conversation Tracey shares:
About Tracey After spending more than 30 years working in the Health Industry, first in Western Medicine then moving into Eastern Medicine and Acupuncture specifically, I realised there was much more to ill health than physical symptoms. I was led on an energetic and spiritual journey to understand the deeper reasons for physical imbalances. This journey took me through many and varied healing modalities leading me to a greater awareness of the roots of illness. I now have a passion for teaching and educating other people and practitioners in the root cause awareness to facilitate their own healing journey.

29 Mar 2022 | Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Support with Isabella Gosling | 00:58:12
Endometriosis is a very prevalent condition affecting women and people born with female anatomy affecting 1 in 10 in Australia. Its a misunderstood, under-researched and taboo topic so people living with endo, or suspecting they have it suffer terribly and for many years before receiving the correct help. Given that March has been Endometriosis Awareness Month I invited Isabella Gosling into the podcast to shine a light on the condition and sister condition Adenomyosis so whether you have this or not, you can be part of raising awareness, weakening the taboo and being a good ally to the very many people who live with and often suffer in silence. Kylie Holmes joined me for a free-flowing conversation on the podcast which we let flow exactly where it needed to go. Kylie is that biz soul sister friend of mine who cheers me on, sees straight through me, calls me out and keeps me feeling powerful, self-trusting and living and leading in alignment with how I desire to show up. We're on a wavelength and believe in growing sustainable, soulful, intuition-led lives and businesses that deeply honour and centre our cyclical nature, so this conversation ended up being all about how to grow a cyclical business in a linear world. We chatted about:

10 May 2022 | Thriving in the Second Spring of Menopause with Kate Codrington | 00:46:29
Menopause is such a shamed and unspoken experience for many generations of women who receive the messaging that it's not possible to thrive post menopause, and that ageing is a terrible thing. Whilst it can bring physical, mental, emotional and spiritual experiences that are unpleasant, menopause is not the end of the road. My guest Kate Codrington is a few years post menopause and is here to tell us that its possible to feel well, enjoy life and flourish on the other side of our menstrual cycling years. In her new book 'Second Spring: The Self-Care Guide to Menopause' Kate helps us re-frame menopause and brings the radical notion that with small changes and a clear-eyed look at what’s no longer serving you, you can reclaim your vitality and joy in life. In our conversation Kate brings her truth and nothing but her truth, and I am here for it! She shares on:

24 May 2022 | How Your Cycle Influences Your CEO Mindset with Ellie Swift | 00:58:40
I am always fascinated to hear how someone experiences their own unique menstrual cycle given that we know that it has such a big influence on how we feel and show up everyday. So joining the dots between where we are in our cycle and how we can put it to work inside our business is such a juicy next level topic that I loved having in today's new episode of Wild Flow podcast. My biz coach Ellie Swift joined me for her first public conversation about how her menstrual cycle influences how she runs her epic business, how her cycle influences how she shows up for her clients, and how her ability to keep a strong CEO mindset changes across her cycle. 14 Jun 2022 | The Problem With Cycle Syncing and The Myth Of A Perfect Cycle | 00:39:07
Cycle syncing is an amazing concept coined by Alisa Vitti that invites us to understand how our cycle shifts and changes, how we have different energies, qualities, strengths and vulnerabilities across the phases, and then shows us how we can align the tasks of our lives to best harness and flow with those energies. I adore this concept and share it widely with clients and in my courses and experiences because it stops us from living in a linear way and instead teaches us how to embrace the way we aren't the same each day. However I'm also really starting to notice a lot of people struggling to cycle sync because when someone does have have an archetypal 28-day menstrual cycle that's the same every month: regular, predictable, and experienced just as the books say it should be, it can leave you feeling not good enough. Yes, having shame about not having a 28-day cycle is becoming a real thing and I really want to offer a new way of cycle syncing that invites you to embrace and embody your own unique cycle experience, instead of finding another way of not being the ideal human. In this solo episode I bring the fire, bust some myths, and share why I believe it can actually be really powerful to show up in our most tender moments of our cycle, instead of locking ourselves away for half the cycle, so we can normalise and create a new relationship to the dark feminine.

27 Sep 2022 | Matrescence as a Rite of Passage with Amy Taylor-Kabbaz | 01:04:03
When a baby is born, everyone rushes to hold the baby. But who is holding the Mother? This is the big question which Amy Taylor-Kabbaz is advocating to be resolved. Amy's work centres Matrescense, the becoming of a Mother, which happens slowly, almost invisibly to others, but felt deeply by the woman. This rich, deep, powerful conversation bought Amy and I together on something we feel so strongly about: that rites of passages must be honoured in modern cultures to ensure the wellbeing of all - especially the Feminine. Join us to hear more about what Matrescence is and where it originated, how we experience an Inner Split as our identities, perspectives and whole self irreversibly changes in Matrescence, how our careers, roles and value changes in Motherhood, and what we can collectively do to reclaim and honour The Mother. 15 Nov 2022 | Soul Cycles: into Your Soul Awakening with Katara Sky | 01:06:58
You have your inner embodied cycles, nature's cycles around you, but what else? Guest Katara Sky is a guide for people journeying (willingly or not!) on the descent into their soul's initiation, or awakening, which is when the ego dissolves and big questions about what life is all for anyway, are asked. Beyond who you think you are, what you do, and the stage of life you're at, you may or may not have an experience that prompts you to question everything and come face to face with your deepest, truest essence: your soul. Katara shares us with what the soul is, and how it differs to spirit, and what the soul journey is. She explains how many people never have a soul awakening, even if they want to find their "soul purpose". And Katara shares how we can find and create support for ourselves in the biggest journey of all, our soul journey. Tune in to hear about:

10 Jan 2023 | How To Set Embodied Intentions For The New Year with Charlotte Pointeaux | 00:39:34
When you want to create real change, its important that you don't follow what you think you SHOULD be focusing on. Instead, ask yourself what's true for you. How will you know? Your body will tell you. Have you picked a word for the year yet? A New Year's resolution? Is your year mapped out with strict timelines and a whole lotta hustle? Maybe so... But if this approach doesn't feel quite right to you, I'd love to offer you a different way: a more feminine, embodied, feelings-based way of setting intentions for the year ahead. In this episode I'm sharing my embodied intention-setting technique which I guide all my private wild feminine coaching clients through, so you can get crystal-clear, alive, juicy and deeply inspired to call in your most luscious year yet. What's more, the cycle mysteries teach us that New Years Day is not the correct time to be declaring "New Year, New Me!". Instead, there's meant to be an in-built hibernation, restorative time to let the death of the last year complete, and the visioning and dreaming of the new year to occur before we rush in all guns blazing with our new habits. I suggest we allow ourselves one Moon, until New Moon (22nd Jan 2023) to let our visions become clear, so we're sure we're choosing the right path that honours our capacity, desires, needs and energy, rather than overriding and pushing through. Let's resist the urge to overdo it and then quit at the first hurdle, all burnt out, and instead take a cyclical, embodied approach right from the get-go. Listen in for me sharing:
Have you crafted your embodied intention? Once you've listened, share your intention with me here in the comments, or DM me! I would LOVE to know. 24 Jan 2023 | Coming of Age Wisdom for Mothers and Daughters with Arahni Lion and Jo Rockendorfer | 01:10:50
Imagine a world where mothers were given sacred space to welcome their daughters intentionally into their coming of age rite of passage. And where girls were welcomed into circle with other mothers and daughters to find deep wisdom, loving support and a chance to experience true sisterhood all before their 13th birthday. There is a place on Earth: it's called the Seeding Wisdom journey held annually in the Illawarra (NSW) by wise women Arahni Lion and Jo Rockendorfer. Arahni and Jo share the story of why and how they created this potent experience, what happens within the journey, and why this kind of initiatory journey is needed now, more than ever. If you've ever wished you were more supported, more seen and heard, more understood and respected in your own maiden years, this is a truly special way of healing that part of you, and to give your child the best start to a conscious, empowered, embodied and connected womanhood. I know that when my daughters are of age, we will be taking the journey together, one by one. Listen into this conversation to hear Arahni and Jo sharing their journey to hosting the Seeding Wisdom journey and:

21 Feb 2023 | Circles As Ancient Medicine For Modern Times with Mitlé Southey | 01:17:26
It's safe to say that sacred women's circles are making a big come back. No longer lost ancient forms of gathering in community, circles are now becoming increasingly available around the world as an opportunity to gather with shared intention, possibly to meet new friends, devote time to spiritual practice, to experience particular ceremony. Whatever happens and whoever you meet, you are sure to come home to yourself. The way of the circle offers us a very different form of connection and community in which we can come to understand ourselves and each other- and to find the magick and medicine we need at the time. Circles are an ancient way of life, but are now being held in towns everywhere, in schools, board rooms, and online, and they have the potential to support healing and transformation of communities on many levels. I believe that when you attend your first Circle, you awaken to a new way of relating and being, and its addictive. My first ever circle was with today's guest Mitlé Southey in 2018, when I attended her 3 day circle facilitator training, and that immersive experience changed me deeply, and revealed a deeper path forward for me personally in my own healing, as well as in my work that I do. I'm overjoyed to welcome MItlé to the podcast, and to share with you a delicious conversation about:

07 Mar 2023 | Nature, Culture and The Sacred: Reimagining Leadership For Women | 01:04:37
What does Nature, Culture and the Sacred teach us about becoming the leader we need to be: for ourselves, our communities, and the Earth? Plenty, actually! As the world we inhabit crumbles around us, its takes courage, humility, deep listening skills and activism to create a safer world that is respectful of women, people of marginalised identities, and greater values than chasing money and power to create resistance and change. And what can we singularly do about it? My guest on the new episode of Wild Flow podcast is Nina Simons, Co-founder and Chief Relationship Officer at Bioneers, a nonprofit that features and connects practical and visionary solutions for transforming how we relate to ourselves, each other and the Earth. Nina is recipient of the Goi Peace Award, and throughout her career, she has worked with over a thousand women leaders who are diverse across disciplines, race, class, age and orientation to create conditions for mutual learning, trust and leadership development. She produces and speaks at large-scale events to work intimately to help small, diverse groups of women leaders knit together to strengthen each other’s work pursuing intersectional healing and ecological justice. This conversation inspired me so much. We touched on:

It's a time of high magick, ceremony and celebration to honour the dead and celebrate the years' harvest at the witches new year. its also a mirror for the pre-menstrual time of the menstrual cycle, a time to be revered, not feared, when truth-telling and listening is highly necessary for growth and healing.

26 Jul 2023 | How I Grow My Coaching Business In The Busy Mother Season of Life (And 3 Mistakes To Avoid) | 00:23:38
I’m asked all the time how I do it: how do I grow my business, whilst being a present mama of three young kids. How did I start my business and get to this spacious, sustainable place I’m at now, whilst only working 3 days and prioritising my health and wellbeing? When I was asked this question again yesterday, I thought to myself hang on, I would love to address this really in-depth, to share what’s helped me, and the 3 major mistakes women get caught up in when trying to cultivate a business that serves them too. So I made a podcast for you. Inside the solo ep is what I wish for all women to know: whether you are a mum yourself (or intend to be), whether you just want to leave behind the hustle and embed a deep cyclical sustainable way of working, whether you’re going through big changes in life that are urging you to make big changes and you’re not sure how to move towards what you want, this is for you. I might be in the very busy ‘Mother’ season of life but I am not martyring myself to the traditional gendered role of a Mother (read: being all things, to all people, at all times). This season of life, which for me has included growing three humans and a business, has taught me if nothing else…. That I don’t want to do things the same way anyone else is. Because my measure of success is very different to anyone else’s. And so it should be. There are 3 key mistakes I see people making when they want to grow a business that nourishes, supports and sustains them. When growing a successful, soulful, sustainable business it’s so important you focus on avoiding these 3 key mistakes, so I’m sharing what these are and how you can avoid them in this episode. I would LOVE you to have a listen because I know this is going to help you so much. 01 Aug 2023 | How to Descend and Rise into your Power with Carly Mountain | 01:15:32
Descending into the underworld is the stuff of powerful myths, where demons and monsters dwell in the shadows. But whether myths and monsters are real or not, they serve a profound purpose, to make meaning of the human experience, to explain what isn’t easily understood, and to help humans across time, space and place to find threads of connection in the unknown. Myths stand the test of time, still highly relevant to us in the modern era, as much as to ancient peoples, providing a map and compass for each generation to navigate the depths of the psyche through initiations, travails, dark nights of the soul, and transformations. Todays guest Carly Mountain knows myth and what’s involved to descend into the depths of the underworld where we face our darkest shadows and tallest hurdles, having discovered and recognised her and many others own life stories mirroring the great ancient myth of Inanna, Queen of heaven and earth who descended to the underworld to meet her sister Ereskigal, Queen of the Underworld after sacrificing all that she knew about herself and the world she inhabited, only to be struck dead immediately by her sister. By working with this incredible myth and exploring the power, healing and liberation that becomes available to us when we recognise our own calls to surrender what’s ready to die in our own lives, Carly maps out in her new book Descend and Rising how we can follow Inanna’s story to make meaning of our own descents and initiations, and to powerfully rise into our power and truest selves. After working with the Inanna myth myself for some time, I loved reading Carly’s book, and am thrilled to have been able to chat with Carly for Wild Flow. In this episode we mused on:

29 Aug 2023 | Autism, ADHD and Neuroqueering the Menstrual Cycle with Joeli Caparco | 01:11:23
Menstrual Cycle Awareness is an archetypal experience of inner seasonal strengths and shadows that can bring us into sharp focus of how we express and embody different variations of ourselves across the menstrual cycle. For many its a very powerful self-awareness and empowerment tool, yet there is a tendency for people to think they should experience their cycle just as the textbook tells them, leaving them feeling further disconnection to their body and cycle when it doesn't fit the mould. Today's guest on Wild Flow is here to expand the horizons on who gets to participate in menstrual cycle awareness, and to specifically include people who identify as neurodivergent, queer and those who aren't tapping into their body's rhythm for fertility purposes. Joeli Carparco is a Mindset and Menstrual Cycle Coach for creatives, content creators, and coaches. She works to bring a neuroqueer lens to the menstrual cycle awareness space, by taking the focus off of fertility and even menstruation itself in order to expand the umbrella of who is included and to acknowledge different experiences of having a cycle. Through creating a practice of getting in touch with their body, Joeli helps her clients reconnect with their needs, wants, and desires so that they can have happier, healthier relationships with themselves, others, and their businesses. Joeli’s pronouns are she/they, and she identifies as queer and neurodivergent and I am very grateful to Joeli for sharing so much insightful knowledge, wisdom and experience with us in this episode. 10 Oct 2023 | Aware Parenting, Menarche Celebrations and Inner Child Healing with Joss Goulden | 01:24:12
Joss Golden is a Trauma Informed Parenting Consultant and Level Two Aware Parenting Instructor who is certified with the Aware Parenting Institute. Joss is a mother of two children aged 19 and 17, and she's really passionate about supporting parents to raise children who are deeply connected to their authentic selves so they can process and heal from our trauma and so that we can be the parents that we want to be. I absolutely love this conversation with Joss. She shares so much wisdom that is really suitable for parents but also people who are likely to be parents in the future. Joss invites us to let go of guilt and shame when we don't need to hold it, and instead, to bring so much compassion to ourselves as we learn to be the parents that our children need us to be and to flow with the changes as our children develop and move into new stages of life and surprises. We talked about:
Whether you have children now or not this is a really great listen as we're talking about reparenting ourselves and inner child healing as well as supporting children through puberty adolescence and their rites of passages. LINKS

24 Oct 2023 | How To Teach Your Child About Periods and Puberty | 00:51:16
When you're becoming conscious of your menstrual cycle, and how much it influences you, and how much healing there is possible when we reclaim our cycle, it's entirely normal to want a better experience for your child when they start their periods. You don’t want her to have to wait until she’s this age to figure it all out piece by piece, and you hope she doesn’t feel disconnected, distrusting or even disgusted by her body and cycle. But since you weren’t given much support or empowering information when you had your menarche (first period), you’re at a loss at to how to really talk to your child in advance, so she is supported, prepared and confident in advance, and never has to struggle or suffer alone. So to support you to have conversations with your child at any age, I'm sharing a lot of tips, knowledge and wisdom that you need to know to support your child - as well as ways to support yourself as a parent. I want you to feel so confident and at ease to have what are traditionally uncomfortable conversations, and turn them into beautiful healing and bonding opportunities for you and your child. Inside I'm walking you through ways to share with children of different ages from young children, tweens and pre-pubescent children, through to pubescent children and teens. I hope this helps you turn what’s been traditionally uncomfortable conversations into beautiful moments of bonding, and learning and healing for yourself as well as your child.

21 Nov 2023 | Money Mindset and Your Menstrual Cycle with Cathy Lemire | 01:15:56
What does money have to do with the menstrual cycle? It's surprising how much! This week's guest Cathy Lemire, The Menstrual Money Coach, is here to help us connect the dots between how our menstrual cycle influences our relationship, behaviours and attitudes around money, understand how our money stories play up across the phases of our cycle, and to take charge of our wealth! Cathy is a financial coach for women who know their menstrual cycle is wreaking havoc on their life and are struggling to manage their energy, she teaches women to embrace their cycle as their superpower, so they can stop the monthly PMS fight over money with their spouse, the emotional spending splurge followed by regret and feelings of self sabotage. Cathy loves talking about how we can embrace our cycle through cycle syncing to help us reach her goals, specifically with money. I really loved reflecting on how my own money mindset changes by inner season, and hearing how it can show up differently for others based on our money archetypes - it's super fascinating! Tune in for a great episode where you'll hear about:
Cathy also offers you a quiz to take to find out if your cycle is impacting your money management. Take it here. 07 Nov 2023 | The Myth of the Inner Critic with Melanie Swan | 01:21:44
This week we're myth-busting! The Inner Critic is a popular name for that inner voice who is known to tear us down when we're 'PMNS-ing', but Melanie Swan, womb medicine woman at @the_sacred_womb wants to realise this isn't normal, its not something we should learn to work with, but is in fact one way trauma shows up in our menstrual cycle. Melanie and I are talking about this myth of the inner critic: why it happens, how to heal it, and Melanie shares an easy, practical, beautiful exercise that you can do straight away towards the end of this episode to connect in with your womb and this voice. Melanie goes deep on:
So if you experience what you call an inner critic voice, particularly in the pre-menstrual phase of your cycle - or at any other phase as well - then this is going to be a really great one to listen to. Come find me on Instagram and leave a comment! How does your inner critic show up? Can you connect with it as trauma? Has it felt like something you just have to accept and live with? Are you curious about past life healing through the womb? Let me introduce Mel. Besides being a Midland gal from the UK like me, Melanie is a Womb Medicine Woman and Multi-dimensional trauma healer who helps women to come home to their true nature by embodying the multi-faceted menstrual cycle, healing multi-dimensional trauma & co-creating with the divine through the portal of the Womb. Ooh how amazing does that sound.

How are painful periods linked to our traumas? Lisa de Jong reveals the wisdom of our bodies, and the tools she used to holistically heal chronic pain and tend to our nervous systems in her trauma-informed approach to menstrual cycle coaching. As a health coach and educator Lisa works 1:1 with women, focusing on pain through a really trauma informed approach means that she's really considering what pain is, what it's manifesting from, and what these deeper inner conflicts might be, so she doesn't just help people find relief from their pain, but to do that inner work as well to transform pain into power. 05 Dec 2023 | How To Tune To The Moon (My Fave Cycle Wisdom Diary for 2024) | 01:03:14
The Moon cycle is universal, whether you have a menstrual cycle or not, whatever your gender or identity and wherever you are in the world: we are all under the same lunar phase at any time. Today's guest Nadiah, Founder of @tune_to_the_moon lunisolar menstrual diary is here to guide us to have awareness of the moon's energy as it cycles around us, to embody lunar living practices for ourselves, and then to share that with our loved ones and communities. My guest is my local friend Nadiah who comes to my Southern Highlands seasonal women's circles, she is mama, creative and founder of Tune to the Moon, a lunar- menstrual diary that allows you to tap into the benefits of living by cycles to connect to cycles; moon, menstrual and seasons and plan for a year that honours your body, energy, mind and spirit. Nadiah worked as a creative director in the apparel industry for almost two decades, having founded a men’s underwear brand in 2006. Prior to that she worked as a graphic designer in both Sydney and London. After decades of combining being a mum, running a business and running a home, Nadiah became sick and burnt out. This lead her to begin questioning the modern concept of time and a culture that promotes continuous productivity and growth. In this episode we chat about:

16 Apr 2024 | Break Free From Comparisonitis And Playing It Safe | 01:04:22
Comparisonitis is the thief of joy, it's the energy of unworthiness, as compared to others or to where we think we should be, and it's a huge problem when it comes to stepping forward into your power in life and business. We all do it - but what can we do about it? I'm talking this through because it's something I see in clients and women I have been journeying with in my own studies, and it's origin and impact can be subtle, yet run deep. It can stop us believing in ourselves, trusting ourselves, and fulfilling the soul purpose we're here to live out. It can keep us poor, stifled, unfulfilled, and afraid. And it's time we cut through the BS to be more of our wild, powerful selves, so we can be the leaders we need to be, and be supported to do what we're here to do. I'm talking through:

01 May 2024 | Witch Wound: Reclaiming Your Voice As A Leader | 00:57:18
The Witch Wound lives in the collective and within ourselves, keeping us small, scared and silent by default, and in need of having to do so much work to show up as our full leader selves. If you're a coach, a healer, space holder, or wellbeing practitioner in any way, you would have been labelled a Witch in the past, and whether this is an identity you hold or not, we all hold energy (and often deep-seated fears) around what it means to show up, speak our truth, share our wisdom, and be of service to reclaiming the feminine. As such we have lost our voices, afraid to be our full selves, afraid to lead, to be seen, in case we get taken down and harmed, just as Witches were. I believe a Witch is a person at home in nature, who honours the seasons and cycles of the earth, her body and our life cycle, and is here to do magick for the highest good of all. She isn't to be feared like Patriarchy would have us believe, but she does hold the frequency of a woman being her full authentic self, working with her powerful gifts, and being unashamed of who she is. There is so much we can learn from meeting our inner Witch! Tune in to hear:
If you know you need to work on your reclaiming your voice and leadership, if you know the Witch Wound lives on in you, I would love to support you with this! Our magickal new container, the Cyclical Business Mastermind, is a place where we can heal this wound, and the sister wound, to be held, heard, championed, inspired and deeply supported by other aligned soul sisters, to help you step into leadership, work on implementing aligned strategies that support ease and flow in your business and life, and to do the deeper embodiment work that will serve you for a life time. 13 Aug 2024 | Sovereign: From Mormon to Menstrual Cycle Coach | 01:01:09
Growing up in the Mormon Church meant Elizabeth believed she was responsible for males' thoughts about her body, that her body was unsafe, and her cycle was taboo. When she broke away from the Church she had to leave behind her faith and her tight-knit community, but in doing so, she found her authentic power, a truer community of ex-Mormon women, and best of her, she found a deep reverence for her own body and cycle that was all her own. She became sovereign. Nowadays, Elizabeth Tidwell is a womb guide, menstrual cycle coach and First Moon Circle Facilitator who helps women and children learn vital body literacy and facilitates a deeper relationship between menstruators and their cycles, bodies, and whole selves. She prioritizes nervous system regulation and personal agency, empowering her clients in a trauma-informed environment. 01 Apr 2025 | Why ADHD Becomes A Perfect Storm in Perimenopause | 00:52:56
What if the rising overwhelm, emotional sensitivity, and brain fog you’re experiencing aren’t “just stress”—but the result of shifting hormones during perimenopause? And what if the solution isn’t more willpower, but more self-understanding? In this potent follow-up episode, I sat down once again with Hormone and ADHD educator Adele Wimsett to explore the under-researched but deeply lived experience of ADHD in perimenopause. With new research, clinical insights, and lived wisdom, Adele uncovers how oestrogen, progesterone, and even histamine are influencing our mood, memory, and capacity to cope—especially for neurodivergent women. 20 Jul 2021 | What is Menstrual Cycle Awareness? | 00:17:32
Cyclical living is at the heart of what I teach and how I try to live my life. In this episode, I'm sharing that Cycle Awareness is the observation that all of life occurs in cycles, in a rhythm, in a revolving pattern that is on the whole fairly stable and predictable. Then cyclical living is the practice of following those patterns - and living in alignment with them. I explain what the different cycles are in the natural world, our bodies, and the outer culture we live in, and how fighting these cycles can lead to painful periods, burnout, sickness, and overwhelm.

03 Aug 2021 | Cycle Charting for Health and Embodied Spiritual Practice | 00:40:59
We have been taught over generations to distrust our bodies, to look to medical experts for the answers and it has resulted in us living in fear and distrust of our own bodies - the wild, unpredictable, emotional homes of ours that we are led to believe can let us down. As a result, most of us have lost complete touch with our bodies and the understanding of how our cycles work.
If you love this episode, I'd be so thrilled if you'd leave a review and share this with someone you think would love to listen - thank you!

20 Jul 2021 | Period Power: Why You Should Care About Your Cycle | 00:38:26
Understanding exactly what is going on within our bodies as cyclical beings is incredibly profound - in fact it's life altering, and potentially culturally transformational. When the majority of girls grow up feeling very disconnected from their bodies and reject their menstrual cycles, as they are overwhelmed by cultural and familial menstrual shame, the effects of this play out in a multitude of ways across all realms of our lives. So by learning what your period is, and what your menstrual cycle is as a whole, and intentionally supporting and seeking support during our rites of passages is a sacred reclamation. From the cycle being recognised at the fifth vital sign of health for women and girls, to healing ancestral patterns, I explain why everyone - not just those who have a cycle - should care about periods.

In this episode I sat down for a delicious conversation with my friend Clare Foale, a writer, an artist, a teacher, a space holder, a tapping practitioner, a questioner and an ocean-lover. She is also a First Moon Circle Facilitator, and creator of her brand new oracle cards SPACIOUS which we explore together today.
About Clare When I turned 30, I was a new Mum struggling with PND which didn't yet have a name. I was a Personal Assistant on maternity leave. I was finding life overwhelming and was grappling with some big questions like, "who am I?" and "what do I like?" which I couldn't find words for. My work now - whether holding space 1:1 for people, holding Circles, teaching tapping (EFT) - keeps coming back to the question "who am I?" and leaning in and listening to the answers and exploring what is present in curious conversation. If you've ever heard someone say that they're currently in their Inner Winter, you may have wondered what on Earth this means... When you figure this out, you can spot deeper patterns explaining why you love / struggle with different parts of your cycle. In this episode I explain:

This is a heartfelt conversation touching on birth stories, adoption, raising girls, tending to our own inner child, and the wounds we acquire along the way - and how if we are conscious of what's at play here, we can heal our wounds not just for ourselves, but our lineage past and future. I chatted with dear friend of mine, women's Life Coach, Sacred Circle Facilitator, Intuitive Healer and First Moon Circle Facilitator Rowena Hobbins @raising_up_ all about her own female lineage and how this has affected her own birth, the birth of her children. As a woman from a disconnected motherline due to adoption, Rowena has felt the echoes of her mother's birth, and her own birth play out in the rites of passages she has lived through including her first bleed, and the births of her three children. Rowena shares how she has recently reconnected with her womb cycle, intuition, ancestors and Feminine power through understanding how the rites of passages shape and rebirth us, and how she has channelled this wisdom into the work she does now to support women in their own matrescence - the journey of raising yourself as a Mother. Your womb is a beautiful muscle that contracts and releases each cycle, and of course the place where new life is created and grown - but its so much more than that too. Part two of our mini cycle phase deep dive series, this time about the second phase of your cycle, your pre-ovulation phase. Once your bleed ends and you feel yourself returning from your moon cave, your hormones rise and with that comes a potential for greater creativity, playfulness, planning and action. It can also bring one of two shadow aspects that I see mostly in the women I support: either a resistance to emerging back into the world, having not felt rested enough during your bleed, or, an urge to come racing back, going too hard too soon.

02 Nov 2021 | Maiden to Mother: Holding Space for Ourselves in Motherhood with Alita Blanchard | 00:49:58
As the saying goes, there are no manuals provided when it comes to becoming a parent. Our culture really lets parents down - especially mothers - during the rite of passage which takes us out of our Maidenhood via pregnancy and birth into new Motherhood. The function of a rite of passage is to prepare people to successfully take on the new role and identity successfully. When this isn't done, we are set up for feeling like a failure because we just don't know what to expect, nor how to handle to huge, overwhelming emotions that come with new parenthood. When we become pregnant, all the education offered zones right in on how to navigate birth - and that's about it. Popular baby showers focus on sharing gifts for the baby. Home-based prep is on getting the right clothes, nursery, and ideal pram. All eyes are on the growing bump, and when the baby is born, all excitement is overwhelmingly abuzz about the sweet new baby. But when we're obsessing over how we raise the baby, who is concerned with raising the Mother? In this episode I had a powerful conversation with Alita Blanchard, who is a mother of 4 young boys (including a stillborn son Remy) on the NSW Central Coast. Alita is a trauma informed Conscious Parent Coach, Emotional Release Coach, Women’s Circle and Rites of Passage facilitator, and she is passionate about creating a safe space for mothers to feel heard and seen in the intensity of their motherhood journey. She supports and guides mothers in their transformation through motherhood and helps to bring awareness to their own needs and emotions so they can feel more aligned, aware and connected to themselves and their children. We spoke about:

09 Nov 2021 | Fighting Period Poverty with Weaving The Red Thread | 01:12:58
Period Poverty is a very real problem that impacts millions of people around the world - and undeniably here in Australia too. Even today in 2021 Australia, 22% of people surveyed did not have funds to access clean period care products, having no choice but to either improvise their own product or stay home missing out on school or work. 49% of menstruators had to wear a tampon or pad beyond the safety guideline of 4 hours, and needed to ration products out to last the duration of a period. Clearly, period poverty is not just a Third World issue. This week's guests Menstrual Educators Amanda and Sahara from Weaving The Red Thread are passionate change-makers who are striving to reduce period poverty by getting more period care products and education into the hands of more Australians. They are supporting a fantastic charity called Share the Dignity through their Christmas Appeal #itsinthebag and are hosting an online fundraising screening of the documentary Pandora's Box which they're inviting you to support and attend, to learn and begin conversations to raise awareness within your family and networks. In this great episode we passionately discussed the impacts of period poverty on girls, women and menstruators now and long-term, and shared ways we can make significant differences in small, simple ways. Purchase tickets to the Online Fundraising Screening of Pandora's Box with all proceeds going to Share the Dignity Australia on 18th November here https://events.humanitix.com/pandora-s-box-the-film-screening About Weaving The Red Thread Amanda & Sahara are passionate Naturopathic Menstruality Educators empowering the reclamation of Women’s Menstruality Wisdom. In this final episode of season 1, I am giving you a massive invitation to see what is and isn't working for you because this, the pre-menstrual phase, is the phase when our whole life comes under the microscope for review. It's your body's way of inviting you to look really closely and to not ignore what's going on underneath the surface of the day to day.

22 Feb 2022 | Reclaiming Your Body and Sacred Sexuality with Alisha Faye | 01:14:11
Alisha Faye is the Creatrix of Sacred Sync™, Yoni Priestess, Womb Healer, Rite of Passage Facilitator and Women’s Wellbeing Coach for the awakened woman. She has recently become a Certified First Moon Circle Facilitator where I've had the pleasure of journeying with Alisha and witnessing intergenerational healing happening for her as she reconnected to her own menarche. Through Womb Health Education, Somatic Healing, Embodiment and Tantra, Alisha is devoted to helping women reconnect to their Yoni by softening into their sensual body, reclaiming and rebirthing the primal, wild, wise, erotic, woman they are longing to be.
Alisha wants to live in a world full of embodied sensual women speaking their truth, reclaiming their periods, pleasure and their power, honouring their sacred body, syncing with their inner rhythms and the rhythms of the earth. Her mission is to create a paradigm where rites of passage are celebrated, the mothers in our communities are deeply loved and supported and her passion is to empower all women to awaken to the wisdom of their womb space for optimal pelvic health and wellbeing. I've invited Alisha to share with us wisdom and her story that illustrates the healing power of reclaiming your body and sexuality and beautiful ways you can explore this for yourself.
