                  Hannah Upp was a a teacher who suffered a rare form of amnesia called dissociative fugue. After her first episode she was found floating face down in the Hudson river. She had been missing for over 3 weeks but had no memory of events during that time. Several years later she had another episode and was again found near water. Patience allegedly lived in the 1600's and you're probably wondering how a ghost became a published author, through a Ouija board thats how. A woman named Pearl Curran would use the board to talk to Patience and then copy her stories down and have them published using the spirits name rather than her own.

              This week we cover a strange tale of haunting and demonic possession. Latoya Ammons and her three children moved into a home in Gary Indiana and immediately began experiencing paranormal phenomenon. Ultimately local police, the church, family services and psychological profesionals would become involved in this case. Many involved thought that the mother was using the idea of demons as a way to keep her children in line but others including several priests, police officers and family service case workers fully believed that the family was under demonic attack.                On November 10, 1985, a hunter discovered the remains of a woman and young girl in a 55 gallon drum at Bear Creek State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire. Another drum full of remains was found in the same location on May 9, 2000. All of the victims had been beaten and dismembered. Buckle up weirdos this story goes to some dark places.

            Elizabeth Klarer was a South African woman who, starting in 1956, publicly claimed to have been contacted by aliens multiple times between 1954 and 1963. Klarer's first visitation supposedly occurred when she was seven and she was one of the first women to claim a sexual relationship with an extraterrestrial.               The Sallie House is reported to be haunted by the ghost of a young girl who died there. According to the legend, a child named Sallie was brought to Dr. Finney's house by her mother for severe abdominal pain. He thought that she had appendicitis and began emergency surgery, as he believed that Sallie's appendix was about to rupture. However, he cut into her before the anaesthetic took effect, killing her as a result.

Multiple former tenants have alleged paranormal activity there. It has been especially reported by male residents and visitors, some of whom have claimed to have been scratched until they bled, which has led to Sallie being dubbed "The Man Hating Ghost".

The bunyip has been described as amphibious, almost entirely aquatic, inhabiting lakes, rivers,swamps, lagoons, billibongs, creeks, waterholes, sometimes "particular waterholes in the riverbeds". The Bunyip, is represented as uniting the characteristics of a bird and of an alligator. It has a head resembling an emu, with a long bill, at the extremity of which is a transverse projection on each side, with serrated edges like the bone of the stingray. Its body and legs partake of the nature of the alligator. The hind legs are remarkably thick and strong, and the fore legs are much longer, but still of great strength. The extremities are furnished with long claws, but the blacks say its usual method of killing its prey is by hugging it to death. When in the water it swims like a frog, and when on shore it walks on its hind legs with its head erect, in which position it measures twelve or thirteen feet in height.

              The Texas Killing Fields is a 25-acre patch of land in League City, Texas situated a mile from Interstate Highway 45 and approximately 26 miles southeast of Houston. Since the early 1970s, 33 bodies of murder victims have been found along the I-45 area. They were mainly the bodies of girls or young women. Furthermore, many additional young girls have disappeared from this area; these girls' bodies are still missing.

It is believed that many of the murders are the work of multiple serial killers. Most of the victims were aged 12–25 years. Some shared similar physical features, such as similar hairstyles. However, despite efforts by the League City police, along with the assistance of the FBI, very few of these murders have been solved.

              The Highway of Tears is a 725-kilometre (450 mi) corridor of Highway 16 between Prince George and Prince Rupert in British Columbia Canada, which has been the location of many missing and murdered indigenous beginning in 1970. The phrase was coined during a vigil  in 1998, by Florence Naziel, who was thinking of the victims' families crying over their loved ones.                The most famous legend about the lost city of Dwarka can be found in the ancient epic of Mahabharata. Dwarka, like Atlantis, is said to have sunk beneath the sea at some point in the distant past. However, unlike Atlantis, whose remains have never been discovered, remnants of this ancient kingdom could be found in the depths. According to the sacred scripture of Srimad Bhagavatam, the city of Dwaraka was built in response to Jarasandha, the ruler of Magadha, who was constantly attacking Mathura. To prevent further attacks on his clan, Lord Krishna decided to establish a separate city on India’s western coast. The great architect Vishwakarma gave this concept life. Dwarka was built by Krishna near a place called Kushasthali, according to ancient texts. The city quickly rose to prominence and became the unstoppable pivot of Lord Krishna’s mission, housing thousands in approximately 900 palaces.

              The Rougarou is werewolf like cryptid reported to dwell in the swamps of Louisiana. Often the story-telling has been used to inspire fear and obedience.

               According to Walton and a number of other members from the logging crew, on November 5, 1975, he was working with a timber stand improvement crew in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Snowflake, Arizona. While riding in a truck with six of his coworkers, they allegedly encountered a saucer-shaped object hovering over the ground approximately 110 feet (34 m) away, making a high-pitched buzz. Walton says that after he left the truck and approached the object, a beam of light suddenly appeared from the craft and knocked him unconscious. The other six men were frightened and supposedly drove away. Walton says that he awoke in a hospital-like room, being observed by three short, bald creatures.

Over the years, the mansion was transformed from the stately home of millionaires to office space, decaying into a run-down boarding house, and finally restored to its current state as a fine dinner theatre, restaurant and bed and breakfast.

             The Bermuda Triangle is a patch of ocean in the western North Atlantic Ocean. It’s near Florida and Bermuda and is famous for being the site of mysterious disappearances and spooky happenings. If you believe the legends, Vermont is also home to a cursed area known as the Bennington Triangle. The Bennington Triangle is located just north of (you guessed it) Bennington, Vermont. It’s actually not really a triangle so much as a swath of land that is a hotbed of paranormal and gruesome activity. The "triangle" is known for being the site of frequent UFO sightings, shadowy figures, and even flesh-eating rocks. Of course, Bigfoot aficionados also claim that the wooly hominid has been seen in the Bennington area.

              Berkowitz grew up in New York City and served in the United States Army. Using a .44 Special caliber Bulldog revolver, he killed six people and wounded seven others by July 1977, terrorizing New Yorkers and gaining worldwide notoriety. Berkowitz eluded the biggest police manhunt in the city's history while leaving letters that mocked the police and promised further crimes, which were highly publicized by the press.

               The theory of cellular memories states that memories, as well as personality traits, are not only stored in the brain but may also be stored in organs such as the heart. In 2009 Harvard Medical School defined cellular memories as “a sustained cellular response to a transient stimulus.” Basically, when a cell is introduced to a specific stimulus it will react in a certain way and every time it is given this stimulus it will have the same response. The best way to understand cellular memories is studying cases of organ transplants. One of the more famous cases includes a woman named Claire Sylvia. In the 70s this woman received a heart and lung transplant from an 18-year- old boy who died in a motorcycle accident. After her surgery Sylvia had cravings she never had before like beer and burgers. After some time, she contacted the family of her donor and was in shock that he enjoyed the same foods.

              Gerald Gardner, the "father of Wicca", first introduced the Book of Shadows to people that he had initiated into the craft through his Bricket Wood coven in the 1950s. He claimed that it was a personal cookbook of spells that have worked for the owner; they could copy from his own book and add material as they saw fit. He said that the practice of Witches keeping such a book was ancient, and was practiced by the Witch-cult throughout history.

              One of the most infamous serial killer couples in British history are Fred and Rose West from Gloucestershire, England. Over twenty years, they raped, tortured and murdered an unknown number of girls and women, including two of their own daughters. Their gruesome string of murders would shock the nation to its very core and even today, the investigation and intense interest in the case is still ongoing.

             The Smurls moved into a house on Chase Street in West Pittston, Pennsylvania in August 1973. They claimed that the premises were disturbed by a demon that caused loud noises and bad odors, threw their dog into a wall, shook their mattress, pushed one of their daughters down a flight of stairs, and physically and sexually assaulted family members on several occasions.

In 1986, the family brought in a pair of demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. According to Ed Warren, the demon that inhabited the Smurls home was "very powerful" and it shook mirrors and furniture after they tried to persuade it to leave by playing religious music and praying. Warren claimed he felt a drop in temperature and saw a "dark mass" form in the home, and the demon once left a message on a mirror telling him to "get out". After months of investigation, Warren alleged that he had a number of audiotapes containing knocking and rapping caused by the demon.

           The squonk is of a very retiring disposition, generally traveling about at twilight and dusk. Because of its misfitting skin, which is covered with warts and moles, it is always unhappy...Hunters who are good at tracking are able to follow a squonk by its tear-stained trail, for the animal weeps constantly. When cornered and escape seems impossible, or when surprised and frightened, it may even dissolve itself in tears.

           On July 8, 1947 Public Information Officer Walter Haut of the Roswell Army Air Field in New Mexico issued a press release indicating that a flying saucer had been found in the desert. By the next day, the Army had changed their tune, stating the object had actually been a weather balloon, but it was too late.

Rumors that a UFO had crashed in the area, and that an alien body was recovered from the wreckage, spread fast. Ever since, Roswell has been synonymous with UFOs. The city of Roswell has embraced their status as UFO ground zero and hosts an annual festival that attracts visitors from around the world.

Allegedly, in the fall of 1943 a U.S. Navy destroyer was made invisible and teleported from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Norfolk, Virginia, in an incident known as the Philadelphia Experiment. Records in the Archives Branch of the Naval History and Heritage Command have been repeatedly searched, but no documents have been located which confirm the event, or any interest by the Navy in attempting such an achievement.

After a New Year’s incident at a Miami mall sparked a massive police response, social media users started spreading some out-of-this-world claims.

Videos circulating social media show dozens of police cars and shadowy figures at Bayside Marketplace, located about 5 miles from South Beach. Many people claimed these figures were not human, but extraterrestrial.

The Munich Manual of Demonic Magic or Liber incantationum, exorcismorum et fascinationum variarum is a 15th-century grimoire manuscript. The text, written in Latin, largely deals with demonology and necromancy. The text is a fully digitally restored facsimile copy, but some parts of the text have been left unchanged (in the final part of the book) as they were torn in the original manuscript.

Raelism, or the Raelian Movement, is another UFO religion and claims to be the largest. The Raelians are the followers of a cult founded in 1974 by the French auto racing journalist Claude Vorilhon. They have had two symbols to represent their cult; a swastika embedded on the Star of David, which was later replaced by a variant star and swirl symbol. They seek to use cloning as a way to achieve immortality. They founded Valiant Venture Ltd Corporation in 1997, to research human cloning. The company changed its name later to Clonaid. The government of France classifies the Raelian Movement as a "secte," meaning "cult."

Claude Vorilhon wrote, "The Message Given by Extra-Terrestrials: At Last Science Replaces Religion," and some other books. Vorilhon, now known as Rael (meaning, "messenger of the Elohim") as he is now known, was allegedly contacted by aliens and told many mysteries; such as life was originally established upon earth some 22,000 +/- years ago through genetic manipulation by extraterrestrials. These aliens desire to return to earth - at Jerusalem in the yet to be built Elohim Embassy where a one world government will be established with is a single currency, language, etc.

According to legend, Pukwudgies can appear and disappear at will, shapeshift, lure people to their deaths, use magic, launch poison arrows, and create fire.

Native Americans believed that Pukwudgies were once friendly to humans, but then turned against them, and are best left alone. According to lore, a person who annoyed a Pukwudgie would be subject to nasty tricks by it, or subject to being followed by the Pukwudgie, who would cause trouble for them. They are known to kidnap people, push them off cliffs, attack their victims with short knives and spears, and to use sand to blind their victims.

Ireland's Vanishing Triangle is a term commonly used in the Irish media when referring to a number of high-profile disappearances of Irish women from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. Several other women were also murdered within the triangle and their cases remain unsolved as well. All of the cases appeared to share some common characteristics. The women's ages range from their late-teens to late-30s, they disappeared inexplicably and suddenly, and no substantial clues or evidence of their fate has ever been found despite large scale searches.

Of all the conspiracy theories that litter the Internet, the flat Earth conspiracy is quite possibly the most curious. After all, the ancient Greeks figured out the planet's shape (and even its circumference) in the third century B.C. 

But a fringe society founded in the 1950s, dedicated to insisting that the Earth is flat, has given rise to a modern ground of flat Earth adherents. These believers claim that the Earth is a flat disc, and that evidence that it is round — say, pictures taken from space — are an elaborate hoax involving multiple governments. Opinions differ on exactly how the flat Earth works, with believers concocting elaborate versions of physics and creative interpretations of the solar system to make their theories work.

The Beale ciphers are several coded messages, originally published in an 1885 pamphlet. This pamphlet purports to tell the story of frontiersman Thomas Beale, who (along with his party) mined quantities of gold, silver, and jewels (currently worth approximately $38 million), transported them across the country on wagons and/or pack mules, and buried them in a underground vault somewhere in Virginia. The ciphers themselves (allegedly) contain exact instructions, in code, to this vast treasure.

For centuries, a large winged beast known as the Snallygaster is said to have terrified the people of Frederick County, Maryland. The dragon-like beast is described as a half-reptile and half-bird living deep in South Mountain’s caves. Ventusky is an application that presents weather and meteorological data to allow people to monitor developments anywhere in the world. Several times in recent months the application showed a cluster of waves reaching over 80 feet in height and spanning a distance wider than the state of Texas, moving up from Antarctica and toward the coast of Africa for about 24 hours before disappearing. With the official story seeming to be a flimsy cover-up, conspiracy theorists are having a field day. Check out the story and form your own hypothesis.

Thelema is a complicated set of magical, mystical and religious beliefs formed in the 20th century by Aleister Crowley. Thelemites might be anything from atheists to polytheists, viewing the involved beings as actual entities or primal archetypes. Today it is embraced by a variety of occult groups including the Ordo Templis Orientis (O.T.O.) and Argenteum Astrum (A.A.), the Order of the Silver Star.
Eroto-comatose lucidity is a technique of sex magic known best by its formulation by English author and occultist Aleister Crowley in 1912, but which has several variations and is used in a number of ways by different spiritual communities. A common form of the ritual uses repeated sexual stimulation (but not to physical orgasm) to place the individual in a state between full sleep and full wakefulness as well as exhaustion, allowing the practitioner to commune with their god.

Anatoly Moskvin is a Russian academic linguist from Nizhny Novgorod Russia. He was arrested in 2011 by police investigating a spate of grave desecrations in cemeteries in and around Nizhny Novgorod. 26 mummified bodies of young girls aged between 3 and 15 were found in his apartment. He exhumed the bodies and mummified them himself before dressing and posing them around his home which he also shared with parents who had mistaken the bodies for large dolls.

Dulce New Mexico is a small town located on the border of N.M. And Colorado. With a population of around 3000 people, it's basically a blink and you'll miss it kind of place. Even though the town is tiny it is the headquarters of the Jicarilla Apache reservation. On the surface Dulce seems like an average place where life seems to move a little slower but, if you dig a little deeper (literally) you just might come across the home to not just one kind, but many different types of extraterrestrials in their underground alien base.

New Jersey is one of those rare states where you can find bustling metropolises nestled in the middle of endless miles of countryside. Personally I always thought that the whole state was all about “hey, how you doin?” and “say hello to your mother for me” LOL. Kidding, just kidding. While the state is known for having a big city feel, it also has a slower side filled with many acres of farmland where you might pass by Bernard's Township. But, maybe Jersey is a little too far north for you, in which case you could take a trip a little farther south. For most people, when they think of Florida, scenic beaches and beautiful ocean waves are the first things that come to mind. You could drive along the coast, maybe visit Disneyland or continue driving all the way down to the keys. On your way down the east coast, as you pass Daytona Beach, you'll come across yet another beautiful coastal town called Port St. Lucie. On the surface it seems like an ideal town for the perfect vacation, maybe take a scenic hike along one of the states many canals, particularly canal C-24. Whether you take the scenic back roads of New Jersey or follow the east coast highway in Florida, you'll find a Devil's Tree.

Late one Friday night, your sitting alone in your living room, lights turned off, maybe watching a scary movie with a bowl of popcorn. Today, we're taking a little trip across the pond. England is one of the oldest continually functioning countries ever. While most Americans tend to think of overcast skies and more than their fair share of rain, the country is also known for some of the most beautiful scenery found on earth. After spending some time on different sites covering some of the strangest legends from all over the globe I came across an old Celtic legend of a household spirit which can be helpful or malevolent. It can be attached to a particular piece of property or a particular person. As this entity made it's way into English folklore it became known as the Boggart.
