Hello Travelers. Trek along with Producer Josh this week on a live music tour of Disney's Animal Kingdom. Live music adds so much to this wonderful park, and today we take a listen to a few of these wonderful performers.

We would like to dedicate today’s episode, a celebration of the live music at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, to our friend, musician and composer Stephan Mikés aka Chakranadi, who passed away last month. Chakranadi was always a highlight of our DAK walkabouts from the very beginning. His sitar music helped bring so much life to our beloved kingdom of Anandapur, and we loved bringing his music to you on our walkabouts. We added a special clip to the end of this episode to honor the joy that his music and performances brought to park guests and to our listeners.

Hello Travelers! A trip to Epcot is in store for you this week - we met friends from California for a meal in Le Cellier and after they joined us to record this week's episode intro. Heather and I then ventured from the France pavilion back to The Land area for another ride through Living with the Land since the plastic seat dividers are now gone, and we record as we walk. We then (finally) record one of our favorite attractions - Soarin' Around the World. We end the episode next to ImageWorks where the leaping fountains are now leaping once again. 

Something a little different for this episode is that we recorded with two devices - our normal 4 channel surround sound mic, as well as a new binaural mic, and layered the audio for what I hope is an even more immersive sound. You can be the judge. Regardless, it was an excellent and restorative day in Epcot, and we hope you enjoy it.

We end up NOT recording the Creations Shop because it was just kinda crowded and loud and you woudn't like it. Finally, we end finish up the episode near the new Guardians of the Galaxy ride in the Wonders of Xandar Pavilion. Hello Travelers! Join us this week in Disney's Animal Kingdom as we do a summer walkabout. Hear the rumbling thunder as we begin our journey near the Tree of Life shortly after a central Florida summer thunderstorm rolled through. We make our way toward DinoLand USA and ride Dinosaur together, and then walk to Asia where I snag a table at the bar at Yak and Yeti for a quick dinner, and then rejoin you for a stroll over toward Harambe.  Together we explore some of the signage of Harambe Market, because of course we do. Lastly, we end the episode near the floating mountains of Pandora. 

NOTE: if the audio for Dinosaur at points sounds a little off, it is because that attraction is INCREDIBLY loud. I had no idea. It pegged the mic volume in many places. When we do a future checkin, we'll ride again and tinker with the mic gain.

Hello Travelers! In our opinion, there's no better place to be for old fashioned holiday atmosphere than the Echo Lake area of Disney's Hollywood Studios in December. Hear the crooners sing the classic holiday tunes amid the sounds of a bustling crowd right at dusk. The incredible tree with traditional decor is at the far side of the lake, with Gertie and her hat the left, and right in front of your is the completely calm Echo Lake with floating multicolored lights. Near the end, take a short stroll with us away from the lake and down Hollywood Blvd toward the park entrance.

Hello Travelers! This week's episode is all about your suggestions! We asked you what areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios you'd like us to explore, you responded, and we let you guys be the guide. Starting at Echo Lake, we venture down Sunset Blvd and pause to take in the sounds of the music and the crowd. Next we headed further down to the Hollywood Tower hotel to not only seek out some ambiance, but also take in a tour of the Tower of Terror store. After a brief stop for some dinner we walked over to the Grand Ave and Baseline Taphouse area, where we took some time to read the signage on the shops along Grand Avenue, and then took a left turn into Grand Park to get some Muppets vibes. We ended the night in Galaxy's Edge under the rising moons of Batuu and the sounds of arriving and departing ships.

Hello Travelers! Journey with us this week to Disney's Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World for one of the longest episodes we've ever released, and it's lengthy for a reason - we took an extended walk through the park, and managed to catch all four outdoor music acts currently performing! You get to hear the Tam Tam Drummers, Kora Tinga Tinga, Chakranadi, and lastly, Viva Gaia!

Hello and happy holidays travelers! It's high time for some holiday cheer, and this week you and I take an evening stroll throughout Disney's Hollywood Studios for no other reason than soaking up some holiday ambience and decor. We start off at the entrance near Crossroads, head down Hollywood Blvd, take in Sunset Blvd, the Echo Lake area, Grand Ave, and end up... well, you'll hear it. You'll get to listen to multiple eras of wonderful holiday music, as well hearing me attempt to describe the incredible decor of the Studios. Hello Travelers! Join us this week for a very low-key stroll through the village of Harambe in Disney's Animal Kingdom. We start off listening to live music which is once again in Harambe! Hear the musician play the African harp (kora) as he interacts with the guests. We then take a walk through the village, hunting down some of the excellent signage, and ending up in the Harambe Market where we hear the Wildlife Express train as it travels by us.

Hello Travelers! In a rare Christmas miracle, join all three east coast hosts this week for a holiday trip to the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World to not only bask in the holiday goodness, but also to take one last ride on the iconic Splash Mountain before it goes down for refurb and retheme. We begin our journey in Town Center where we listen to the Beacon Of Magic ceremony, and then take a slow walk down Main Street USA, soaking up the Christmastime goodness. Lastly, we go in search of our happy place on the very first Walkabout journey to Splash Mountain. We laugh, sing, and get utterly drenched - a perfect ride. We end our trip with some fireworks and an outro near the carousel. This was a fun one - thanks for coming along with us.

Hello Travelers! In this episode, join us as we walk OUT of Disney's Animal Kingdom park in late November right at park close. The crowds are here, the holiday music is playing, and it's a wonderful evening to take a slow journey out of the park together. We start off in Harambe where you hear a mix of traditional Harambe sounds as well as some holiday tunes. We then walk back into Discovery Island where you experience some of the nightly Tree of Life projection show before we venture to DinoLand USA.
