VGA (like them or not) is necessary in the hobby as there is no other place currently to go to grade things like systems or big box computer games. Big box regular video games as well. https://youtu.be/RZl46wHONsA On Video Game Collectors Episode #95 We take a closer look at a TM Zelda Sticker Seal that popped up in high end game room Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1471392153036695/permalink/2649822505193648/?mibextid=W9rl1R Where Cole has found an early TM Zelda with a gloss sticker seal on it. It was sent to WATA for verification, but WATA said they were unable to verify the Nintendo Sticker Seal. They haven't seen another know example so they are no comfortable ATM to certify it. That is not to say that it is not real, just at this time, they cannot confirm it. NES expert Braveheart then showed proof of other variants with the same sticker and a US release box. So, you can take that info and do as you please. We won't likely have 100% proof, but we can all make a strong educated guess.

There are 15 known copies and roughly 11 that were made that haven't been found (many are likely destroyed or thrown away). These are as rare and important as it gets. Definitely a grail for many collectors. Dan had been fighting Colon Cancer for some time and didn't want to draw attention to it publicly. He sets a great example of what a genuine good person should be. Funny, very nice, a great father and a loving husband. Humble, giving, and passionate about video games! I would always ask Dan if it was ok that we poked fun at him and he loved it. He was even in on a lot of jokes we played on others. If there was anything questionable, I would run it by him first and he was normally always good with it. A great sport to the end. We saw the record public sale for a video games which was a Mario Hangtab 9.6 A+ at $660,000.00!!!!! Wow. Not to mention, 2 other games in the same auction that went on to break $100,000.00 as well. Followed by a slew of $20,000-$50,000 games. On Easter Sunday, there was a bit of a meltdown and freezing of the auction, so it was quickly shut down and resumed on Monday. This was likely a good thing, as amazing sales continued as you will see in the video. There are a few pivot points in video game collecting history and in my eyes, this auction was one of them. To be clear, there were a lot of quality games in the auction with amazing grades.

Some of these might sound basic, but they are effective. In the end, it is about hustle and being consistent and being fair in your deals. If you can create win/win scenarios, people will come back and want to do more deals with you. If you are patient and stay consistent, you will almost guaranteed find deals. Sometimes you may see deals we find or maybe another youtuber and think we are lucky or that is so far from what you are finding, but remember, most deals are due to footwork and hustle people put effort into years and years ago. I can personally remember a deal that I worked on for 14 years! It was still one of our biggest scores to date. Build great relationships with people and it will come back to you at some point. You get what you give!
