07 Mar 202271. Charlotte Sands00:55:01

Send us a text

This week, Charlotte Sands stops by The All Punked Up Podcast to talk about her newly released track “Lost”. Although Charlotte has released quite a few bangers already, Tyler thinks this one is her best one yet and goes as far to say that it’s a Spring/Summer anthem for all of the emo kids (old and young). Charlotte also talks about the very beginnings of her career, how she learned to be an exciting front-woman, why college was never in the cards, and how taking advantage of TikTok took her already established career to new heights.

Charlotte is not just a TikTok star story. Her musical journey has been in the works for the last 8 years. If you’re a fan of Charlotte Sands or love any of her tunes, then this episode is one you’ll definitely want to check out!

14 Mar 202272. In Her Own Words (Joey Fleming)00:37:09

Send us a text

For this week’s The All Punked Up Podcast guest we bring you frontman for In Her Own Words, Joey Fleming. Bailey and Tyler admit that they were late to the party when it comes to discovering this band, but were absolutely blown away with their first two newer releases "Lights Out" and "Leaving Forever".

Joey comes on to talk about the very beginning of his time joining the In Her Own Words, the story behind how the band got signed, where this sound we described came from, when we can expect a new album and the band’s upcoming plans for 2022.

This is a band you NEED to have on your radar especially if you're an elder emo and have LONGED to re-live that early 2000s scene sound we all remember and love. They really do embody a nostalgic sound, but at the same time, a sound that is still so relevant to the pop punk resurgence today.

21 Mar 202273. girlfriends (Travis Mills)00:57:56

Send us a text

This week, Tyler and Bailey sit down with Travis Mills from girlfriends. The duo came onto the scene in 2020 and made some noise with their self-titled debut album. Since then, the group has been consistently releasing singles. After releasing their latest singles "Missing You" and "Pretty Mouth", girlfriends is getting ready to drop a brand new LP.  Travis talks about growing up in Riverside, California, his thoughts on the current blink-182 lineup, getting tattoos, what it takes to reach success, his hosting duties on MTV's Ghosted: Love Gone Missing and another MTV show he will be hosting soon. And, if that wasn't enough, there's so much more.

11 Apr 202274. Sum 41 (Dave Baksh)00:36:39

Send us a text

After a two week break, Bailey and Tyler are back! This week they bring you Tyler's conversation with Sum 41's Dave Baksh. Dave will, without a doubt, go down as one of the most legendary guitarists the scene has ever had. The conversation starts off with young Dave and the beginnings of Sum 41 and what it was like when "Fat Lip" launched the band into icon status. Tyler then asks Dave whether or not he agrees with frontman Deryck Whibley's comments about the band's most popular album, All Killer No Filler, not being a great album.

Before talking about the band's upcoming brand new double album which will see a pop punk AND metal side, Tyler asks Dave about his decision to leave the band back in 2005. They also talk about how the band is currently gearing up to co-headline The Blame Canada Tour with Simple Plan. Then, Dave reveals a special "signature" something.

Send us a text

Happy new The All Punked Up Podcast day! Bailey and Tyler are back to talk about Machine Gun Kelly leaving pop-punk (or is he?). They also discuss how he and his fiance, Megan Fox actually do drink each other's blood and they have questions. They also wonder if Machine Gun Kelly and Yungblood should be donned as the "Future of Rock Music". Additionally, guess who performed "Misery Business" for the first time since 2018? Yup, Hayley Williams. What does this mean for the song that was essentially kicked to the curb and left out of Paramore's setlists due to its lyrics? Bailey and Tyler have their thoughts.

Send us a text

The All Punked Up Podcast is back! There’s no doubt been a resurgence of pop-punk. And that resurgence has brought us a new wave sound of the genre we all know and love. But for the last few months, Tyler and Bailey have had many conversations off-mic about the state of pop-punk, where it’s at now, and where it should go. So where should it go? It should invade country music. Hear them out. They think they will convince you.

This week, Tyler sits down with 17-year-old Sophie Powers. This artist has been on his radar for quite some time now. Did you know that she’s an actress and has been in commercials and a show on Hulu? It now all makes sense as to how she comes off so confident in her music and her videos.

Listen as they talk about that, the very beginnings of how she got signed, her debut EP titled Red in Revenge that’s coming out on May 20th. It's already known to be a 7-song EP, but Sophie has different plans as she reveals a new track that's going to be added just in time for its release.

Sophie Powers already has some great collaborations under her belt, she’s gearing up for the So What Festival and getting ready to embark on a world tour with NOAHFINCCE. There's a lot in store for her so don't be surprised if you start hearing her name more and more within the scene.

Send us a text

After a four-week break, we're baaaack! This week, Tyler and Bailey discuss the recent Drive-Thru Records announcement. Spoiler alert: they were correct in their speculations from the episode prior. But they wonder if there is more. Additionally, they talk about a recent ruling in favor of Ed Sheeran NOT plagiarising a song,  how the ones doing the suing got the shit end of the stick on this one, and what this could mean for future artists suing over plagiarism. And speaking of shit, there's one artist who loves to use his shitter as lyrical inspiration. It's their first week back in a while, so sit back, relax and enjoy the bumpy ride that was this episode.

11 Jul 202281. Taylor Acorn00:37:48

Send us a text

Tyler got to hang out with an artist that has been on his radar for quite a few months now. Her name is Taylor Acorn. You may have heard of her after her most recent releases “Shapeshifting”, another single called “In My Head” and her recent acoustic cover of blink-182’s “First Date”.

After we released one of our recent episodes called: Pop-punk NEEDS to invade the Country Music world, Tyler feels like Taylor is the perfect follow-up to that episode. Because he feels like Taylor is definitely an artist that can play nice in the pop-punk world AND the country music world ALL at the same time. She comes from a country music background, but she’s doing her thing in the pop-punk world and she is doing it VERY well.

But they discuss just that and whether or not she thinks she can play in both genres. They also talk about her very beginnings, when we can expect a new single and then she dishes on a tour she’ll be in support of that you don’t want to miss!

When it comes to Taylor Acorn, Tyler REALLY expects big things from her and we're excited for everyone to hear her story.

FYI: Tyler was having audio issues this week which is why his audio quality may not be on par with past episodes. We apologize for that.

This week, Tyler and Bailey get together to talk about how a viral trend on Twitter saw users blocking Brendon Urie for SO MANY different and unreasonable reasons. Additionally, they talk about the upcoming new series of Beavis and Butt-Head and how influential the 90s cartoon was to music genres played on MTV. And speaking of the 90s, do you remember Alanis Morisette's Top 10 hit "You Oughta Know"? Well, we know it was written about then boyfriend and ex-Full House star Dave Coulier, but what did Dave think when he first heard the song? We got the deets. And finally, Paramore announced a tour! Will they finally add "Misery Business" back to their setlist? They discuss. Oh! We're at it again. Is blink-182 back together with Tom?

25 Jul 202283. Is Machine Gun Kelly misunderstood?01:59:38

Send us a text

Is Machine Gun Kelly misunderstood? I’ve often thought about this question and after listening to Machine Gun Kelly’s recent album ‘Mainstream Sellout’, I wonder if he was trying to tell us all something.

I was recently brought back on the High School Never Ends Podcast, and this time it was to discuss and review MGK’s latest album.

The overall consensus for me was I think MGK was completely vulnerable on this album. He talked about his past, his present, and all of the demons he fights with every single day. He’s dealing with a lot of mental health issues which he admits to on this album.

Now, I don’t think these are excuses for how he acts in the public eye or on social media, but I do think what I would assume is his honesty on this album, sheds a little light on who MGK is, as a human being.

Since the High School Never Ends Podcast released this episode, MGK has released a documentary that really confirmed my thoughts after doing a deep dive of this album. I’d really like to know what you guys think too, so tag us on our socials and let us know if after really digesting this album, does your opinion of MGK as a person change?

01 Aug 202284. Gunz from The Gunz Show00:42:16

Send us a text

When considering the media side of things, Gunz is one of the most prominent figures in the scene we cover. And this week, Tyler sits down with the guy who’s interviewed nearly all of your favorite bands and artists and everyone in between. Gunz has his own podcast called The Gunz Show where he talks a little news and does some interviews, but now he has introduced a brand new game that is taking the emo world by storm: Who Wants to be an Emo Millionaire?

His new gameshow is definitely one you’ll want to check out as he brings on some of the scene's top artists to test their knowledge of emo trivia. The game is played live over Twitch and gives you a chance to watch live AND get involved as you could end up being one of the lifelines an artist uses.

We, of course, talk about his podcast and gameshow, we discuss the current state of pop-punk and whether or not it can ever get back to the heyday it saw in the early 2000s, but Gunz also digs into how he’s gotten to where he is today and how putting in a ton of work and hustle over the years has led him to become one of the most trusted media figures our scene has ever had. I mean, the dude is everywhere (festivals, tours, interviews, you name it)! We also play a mini version of Emo Millionaire where we put Gunz in the hot seat, so you don’t want to miss that!

08 Aug 202285. Spotify has a porn problem + Is Tom back in blink-182 or not? + Will TikTok be the next music app?00:33:21

Send us a text

Yo! The new era of The All Punked Up Podcast has arrived! What does that mean? It means we have a new co-host as Bailey is on hiatus. John Pearman is that new co-host. You may remember him from the episode we did where Tyler brought his former bandmates on to discuss the one time they drove all the way out to LA from the Midwest to get signed by Drive-Thru Records. But this week, we aren't here to talk about the old band. We're here to talk about Spotify having a porn problem. Yes, porn. And if Spotify wants to embrace this new venture, John's got a few names Spotify can think about changing its name to. Also, TikTok may end up becoming the next big music streaming app. And once again we bring up the blink-182/Tom DeLonge reunion rumors as they heated up again this week with new information.

Send us a text

This week, John and Tyler got to hang out with guitarist Dan Estrin from the band Hoobastank! Hoobastank has been a band for nearly 30 years and they are still going strong. And that is no easy feat to obtain. Like a lot of our conversations, we talked about the early beginnings of the band and how they formed. We talked about how the original sound of Hoobastank may surprise some people. We discuss the band’s rise to fame, from getting signed to Island Records to releasing their debut single “Crawling In The Dark”. And then we talk about all of the things they are currently doing from celebrating the 20th anniversary of their self-titled album, a co-headlining tour, and whether or not we can be expecting new music.

Dan was a wealth of knowledge in this episode so you’ll definitely want to stick around until the end.

26 Sep 202291. Fall Out Boy's new guitar-based music put on hold? + We’ve been saying Chad Kroeger’s name wrong this whole time00:48:06

Send us a text

This week, some of the things Tyler and John talk about include the new The Wonder Years album. One person loves it, the other not so much. They also discuss Mariah Carey possibly looking to release her long-lost grunge album. And it looks like everyone's been saying Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s name wrong the whole time. Also, Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman reveals that the band began working on “guitar-based” music, but is now on the “back-burner”. So what does that mean for the band? And finally, a computer has found what the most iconic song ever recorded is. Here’s a hint: it’s a rock song. Make sure to stay until the end because you'll hear John's cat break his TV.

03 Oct 202292. Should artists use backing tracks live? + The most torturous song + Paramore is back00:37:36

Send us a text

This week, some of the things John and Tyler talk about include Spotify running into another PR nightmare (first it’s the porn issue and now it’s something else). And speaking of Spotify, it looks like there is a movie being made on the streaming giant. Also, as you’re all aware, there is a war between Russia and Ukraine going on. We’re going to talk about how music is being used as a weapon over there. And then we’re going to discuss what the most torturous songs for us would be. And finally, Paramore is back with some new music and a new album on the way. Is their new song good or bad?  We are going to share our honest review of their comeback song. But we first kick things off with a discussion on whether or not bands should or shouldn't use backing tracks during live performances.

Send us a text

This episode was originally published on 10/18/21.

It's officially Spooky Season, so Bailey and Tyler thought it would be appropriate to discuss and explain the wild conspiracy theory that Avril Lavigne is dead and was replaced by a look-alike actress named Melissa Vandella. Crazy, right? This conspiracy has lived on since 2005, but gained a ton of traction when details came out in 2011. Listen to them explain the ins and outs of the whole theory and at the theory's conclusion, they decide whether they believe the conspiracy is true or not.

24 Oct 2022SCARY SHIT: The story of My Chemical Romance recording ‘The Black Parade’ in a haunted mansion (revisited)00:20:48

Send us a text

This episode was originally published on 10/25/21.

For this week's episode of The All Punked Up Podcast, Tyler rides solo, but continues on with the Spooky Season theme. And what better way to continue it by talking about the band that brings the spooky vibes: My Chemical Romance. Did you know that My Chemical Romance recorded the highly successful ‘The Black Parade’ album in a haunted mansion called The Paramour Estate? And they ALL apparently had some really creepy and messed up experiences while they were there. The experiences were so messed up that it led to members of the band leaving the house well before schedule forcing them to find a new studio to record and finish the album. Well, here's that story.

22 Oct 202294. Ticketmaster is a fucking joke!00:31:43

Send us a text

Last week was absolutely huge for pop-punk as you all remember the blink-182 and Tom DeLonge reunion was made official with the announcement of new music and a new world tour. Well, this week tickets went on sale for that tour and because of how Ticketmaster is doing ticket pricing (which is what they call Dynamic Pricing), it’s causing a lot of uproar in the scene. We’re going to talk about this and I’m going to say ahead of time before we start talking about it: This is something that CANNOT work long-term in its current form. It’s a real problem now and will cause more. But we’re going to talk about this in detail because John and I have some thoughts on this as I’m sure you do too. But on a lighter note, we’re also going to be talking about Shaq and his mosh-pit record, Garbage’s Shirley Manson shitting in her partner’s breakfast, and how birdsong is the way to help anxiety. Who knew?

Disclaimer: Unfortunately, something went wrong with John's audio this week due to a recording error with the provider we use. After a ton of editing, this was the best Tyler could do. It's not that bad, but it sounds like John is in a really echo-y room. We totally apologize for this as this is not the type of quality we want to deliver. But nonetheless, we still wanted to bring you what was on our minds this week.

For this episode, Tyler and John kick things off by sharing their thoughts on a recent video surfacing of The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan just casually eating chips during his drummer's drum solo at a recent gig. They have a little fun and pretend how the rest of the show went. They then discuss how Paramore broke up a fight during one of their recent performances in Toronto. Additionally, the boys share their thoughts on the newly announced New Found Glory acoustic album which features new and old songs. They also talk about how Amazon Music recently pissed off some of their freemium and Prime member users. Then they turn to TikTok and how the social network is making the music industry grow very impatient with them.

05 Dec 202299. Kailee Morgue + That's a wrap + WTF is Fall Out Boy teasing?01:17:36

Send us a text

This week, we share our Spotify Wrapped results and discuss what the recent Fall Out Boy tease is all about. But you'll want to stay for this one as we bring on Kailee Morgue. Kailee is on track to be one of the more notable names in the scene. And if she's not on your radar, she should be. Kailee and Tyler talk about everything from how she convinced her parents to skip college for a year to go all in on music and how that led to her success in getting her first record deal. We also talk about her new album Girl Next Door and she opens up about her vulnerability on the record, the songwriting process, and how some of those songs even came to be. We also talk about everything else we can expect from her in 2023 and beyond. She also says she's got a tour coming up next year with an adjacent artist in the scene bigger than her. Who could it be? But before we let her go, she answers some fan-submitted questions.

Stream Kailee Morgue's new album Girl Next Door.

Send us a text

It's episode 100! This week on The All Punked Up Podcast, we celebrate episode 100 by drinking wine throughout the show. This may very well be a new norm for the show. Listen in as we discuss Google’s top trending musician of 2022 as well as the topic of fake music streams and how labels could possibly be the ones to blame for them.  We also talk about and share our thoughts on Paramore’s newly released track "The News". There was a weird Machine Gun Kelly cooking story that came out this week and Tyler wonders why MGK feels the need to always impress Megan Fox. And then we round it out with the most-hated Christmas songs list. So make sure to play along with us.

19 Dec 2022101. The Best of 2022 + All Time Low allegations update00:46:21

Send us a text

After just celebrating episode number 100 last week, we are now at the final episode of 2022. That’s right, we’re taking the next two weeks off and will be back the second week of January. But we’ve got a good one for you today because we share our choices for, Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Albums we're most looking forward to in 2023, and then Tyler shares the artists he thinks you need to look out for in 2023.

We have a new segment we want to try out called Reddit Asks. Today’s questions revolve around blink-182. But we’re also going to discuss Ticketmaster shitting the bed once again, and this time it’s messier than the first time. And also, we’re giving an update on the All Time Low misconduct allegations.

Lots to unpack on this one!

We're BAAACK! It’s the first episode of 2023! And this week we’re going to discuss the Foo Fighters' recent announcement, an awesome achievement from Metallica, and an even greater achievement for arguably the biggest artist of our lifetime. We’re also finally going to put an end to the age-old debate over which music fans are more likely to have sex in trucks. And finally, we’re going to clue you in on the most recent tease from Fall Out Boy, and I think there’s a hint to the type of sound direction they may be heading in. Speaking of Fall Out Boy, John for some reason wants to punch Pete Wentz in the face—he shares why. And then we’ll round it out with a rumored release date for blink-182’s upcoming album. We’re either going to accept it or shut it down. Stay tuned to find out!

This week, John and Tyler debate over whether or not it's ok to wear a band’s t-shirt when going to one of their concerts. Going in, they knew they lived on different sides of the aisle when it comes to this topic, so trying to convince each other was not easy. But before that, they take the time to review some new tunes released this week, as well as discuss some old Drive-Thru Records bands doing some teasing that they need to fill you in on.

19 Jan 2023BONUS: Bro, blink-182's "Edging" isn't even that good00:12:43

Send us a text

Here's a quick bonus episode! These bonus episodes are where we take a question asked on Reddit or somewhere on the Internet and answer it as honestly as possible—no matter the consequences.

Tyler's seen a lot of debate on the Internet over whether or not blink-182's "Edging" is good or not. It seems like there are quite a few people out there who have strong feelings on both sides. For this bonus episode, Tyler and John discuss that despite the song reigning supreme at no. 1 on the alt-rock charts for 11 weeks straight (10 weeks straight at the time of this recording), does that prove that "Edging" is a good song?

23 Jan 2023104. Green Day or blink-182? + Fall Out Boy now a trio + The worst genre on the planet is...00:47:19

Send us a text

We packed A LOT into this episode as it was a GREAT week for new music. Fall Out Boy is back after finally releasing their new track. We talk about that along with Story of the Year’s new one, Charlotte Sand's upcoming single, and New Found Glory's new acoustic album. After reviews, we discuss whether it’s a bad idea only to release an album with no pre-released singles. We ask this because one major player in the game is planning on doing just that. But there was also news about Fall Out Boy’s Joe Trohman leaving the band, Sad Summer Fest announced this year's lineup, and we bring you another study, this time it’s which genre of music is the worst on the planet. Finally, we answer a tricky question: Who is better? Green Day or blink-182?

27 Feb 2023109: Bob Becker (ex-Fearless Records / Thriller Records)01:01:58

Send us a text

Bob Becker joins The All Punked Up Podcast this week to discuss the very early days of starting Fearless Records and how even though he quit his real job to focus solely on the label on a shoestring budget, he’s so very grateful for and credits the early bands he signed as they put the label on the map.

Bob also reflects on the days after running Fearless Records. Even though running Fearless Records was tough and a grind every day, and with Bob having the drive and desire that he has, he just couldn’t stay away from the label side of the music industry, and Thriller Records was born.

And as with all record labels, there are times when they make the in-hindsight mistake and wind up passing on signing a particular band that goes on to be very successful. And Bob is no exception to that as he missed out on probably the BIGGEST band he could have missed out on. Oops! Also, Bob teases the next big band joining the Thriller roster. He gives some hints. Can you figure it out? Tune in to find out the hints and guess the new signing.

20 Feb 2023108: MOD SUN00:47:32

Send us a text

This week, Tyler sits down with one of his favorite artists in the scene right now, MOD SUN. The word “genuine” comes up a few times throughout this interview, and it’s no surprise as this episode will show you that MOD SUN may be the most genuine and real artist the scene has right now.  He really wears his emotions on his sleeve and it all comes out unapologetically in his lyrics.

If there's one thing you should come out of this episode with, it's this: MOD SUN has never been one to do things by the book nor has he ever had the desire to be like any other artist for that matter. He is only interested in doing things the way he's always known—his way.

In this interview, MOD SUN talks about taking time to reflect on the steep incline that has been his rise in popularity since 2021, and just being grateful to be in the same conversation of being one of the main acts to help fuel the resurgence of pop-punk.

They also talk about the unconventional rollout of his newly released album God Save The Teen and the risky decision to release the album with no pre-released singles. When it comes to songs on the album, “Single Mothers”, the cover of The Goo Goo Dolls' classic song “Iris”, and "Courtney Fucked Kurt" become the main focus as each has its very own special meaning.

All of that and everything in between was discussed throughout this interview.

10 Apr 2023115. lovelytheband's Mitchy Collins00:40:25

Send us a text

In this week's interview, Tyler and John sit down with lovelytheband's frontman Mitchy Collins. Beyond sharing his biggest gig pet peeves, the discussion centers around the band's massive success with their hit single "broken".  Spending 76 weeks on the Alternative Billboard chart, the song set a Billboard record at that time, only to be later broken by All Time Low's "Monsters". Mitchy shares the irony behind this and reflects on the writing process of "broken", admitting that he initially hated the song after writing it.

The interview also covers the band's signing to a smaller label, and Mitchy shares a hack he created to get his foot in the music industry. He recounts a session with Linkin Park's Chester Bennington that played a part in "broken"'s story just months before his passing. The success of "broken" caused the band to fall into bad habits, as they tried to chase creating hits. Mitchy also discusses their latest track "make me wanna die" and how it relates to his personal struggles.

Towards the end of the interview, they talk about the band's upcoming album 'if we're being honest', featuring a great collaboration, and their summer tour with Beach Weather. Mitchy also sheds light on the difficulties of dealing with major record labels when it comes to money, and shares his goals for the band's own label, Happy Accident. Overall, the interview offers an insightful glimpse into the band's journey so far and their plans for the future.

14 Apr 2023Should you feel guilty about listening to music by bands who have done bad things?00:28:12

Send us a text

John and Tyler tackle a couple of questions for this week's bonus episode. One is: Since smaller artists often cover bigger artists, should big bands consider making an EP or album full of covers of smaller bands? Is it a good idea or not? And the second question is: Should you feel guilty about listening to bands or artists who have done bad things?  Tyler's been wanting to answer this question for awhile now. Listen in as they share their thoughts on both of these topics and hopefully don’t end up saying something that will get them canceled.

One of those tunes is from Cassadee Pope, and Tyler thinks her return to the pop rock/pop punk world could be a push for the genre. 24 Apr 2023117. Cassadee Pope01:07:43

Send us a text

On this week’s episode, Cassadee Pope takes us and her fans on a journey through her career, from forming Hey Monday to winning Season 3 of The Voice and transitioning back into the pop-punk world with her latest single, "People That I Love Leave."

Pope starts by reflecting on the very beginnings of her career, from forming Hey Monday to the band landing a record deal. She also shares a fun tidbit about how she ended up on a development deal with Richard Reines from Drive-Thru Records.

As the only girl on tour, Pope discusses how hard it was and how she, as she got older, had to unlearn a lot of misogynistic things she learned on tour when, at the time, she thought were normal ways of thinking. She also talks about the importance of mental health while on the road and her hope to start an initiative to get therapists and counselors on the road with bands to help members cope with the struggles of life on the road.

Pope also talks about her decision to go on The Voice after the Hey Monday split, explaining that it was out of desperation. She shares why she chose a career in country music after winning the show and making a name for herself in the pop-punk/emo scene. She also explains why she chose Blake Shelton as her coach and broke down what a typical week on The Voice is like revealing that it's brutal non-stop work.

Looking back on her country music career, Pope reflects on her fondest memories but also shares the reasoning behind her decision to go independent and break away from a big label due to some cited toxicity and creative differences.

Pope then talks about her decision to transition back into the pop-punk world and her new approach to writing pop-punk songs while bringing over that lyrical style of storytelling to which her country music fans are accustomed to. She also shares the meaning behind her new pop-punk single "People That I Love Leave" and her plan to release her upcoming album with a re-recording of one old song but with a pop-punk twist.

Finally, Pope answers some fan-submitted questions, including her favorite lyric from the upcoming album, her first pop-punk album that sold her on the genre, and her ideal tourmates.

Overall, Cassadee Pope's interview on The All Punked Up Podcast is a candid and insightful look into her career and personal life. Her dedication to mental health and her desire to help others on the road is inspiring, and her new direction in pop-punk is sure to excite both old and new fans alike. This is an episode you DO NOT want to miss.

Finally, John takes some guesses at a couple of lists: Top bands or artists that make their fans angry or sad, and the top in-demand artists to see on tour in 2023.

31 Jul 2023Aliens Exist?! Tom DeLonge was right?!00:27:19

Send us a text

This week is all about the breaking news that came out on July 26th. If you don't know, here's what happened. The House Oversight Committee had a Hearing on UFOs (or UAPs) that tried to shed some light on possible security risks linked to said UFOs. Well, Tom DeLonge was name-dropped during this Hearing, and his To The Stars... company is one of the main reasons why this Hearing even took place. Not only that, but the Hearing also revealed that the US government allegedly retrieved these non-human spacecraft along with the non-human biologics that piloted them. WTF, right? But does this news make it so people should be concerned for Tom DeLonge's safety? We'll fill you in on all of it.

03 Aug 2023Beauty School Dropout talk all things blink-182 tour, new music, and twerking for Travis Barker00:47:05

Send us a text

For this episode, John and Tyler get to hang out with a band that should be on everyone’s radar: Beauty School Dropout. If you don’t know about them currently, you will soon.

They are currently signed to Verswire (run by Sherry Saeedi, Mark Hoppus, Pete Wentz, and Nick Lippman) They already hit the road opening up for blink-182 on their massive reunion tour. We talk about that, as well as some behind-the-scenes stories of being on that tour, what the experience was like, what they learned, all of it.

And if there is one story you NEED to stay and listen to, it’s their story about their photographer, Juan, who tried to impress Travis Barker with a twerk… It sounds as crazy as the story is.

But we talk about everything, including songwriting with some of the best songwriters in the business, as well as their newly released track “beautiful waste” which we highly recommend checking out since it truly has the makings to be a hit.  That track will be included on their recently announced sophomore full-length album titled READY TO EAT which is scheduled for release on October 13th.

Listen to "beautiful waste" here.
