06 Mar 2006Quirky Tokyo - Ninja Restaurant, Akasaka00:04:54

Welcome back for the another travel in 10 audio podcast. This week we are off to visit a great theme restaurant in Tokyo's Akasaka district, Ninja! Great food, and a fun concept are making this one of Tokyo's most sought after tables. The food is an eclectic mix of Western and Japanese, the type of dishes you would expect to see on the Food Network's "Iron Chef". If you are visiting Japan this is a place well worth seeking out.

17 May 2006Tokyo, Japan- Azabu Juban Onsen00:06:57

Ok, I know I said there would not be any more shows about Tokyo for awhile, but I still have heaps of recordings from my time there last year. (but I promise new shows and videocasts in the next few weeks from other destinations around the world)

So for today's show I take you to visit a traditional Japanese onsen (hotsprings/public bath) in the heart of Tokyo in the Azabu Juban district. I share some of the etiquette associated with visiting a hotsprings in Japan (yep, you have to go naked...) and some of the great places to go in the district surrounding the Azabu Juban Onsen.
