05 Mar 2023Markus Ott: “Dismantling The CO2 Hoax” | Tom Nelson Podcast #7800:30:28

Markus Ott, a chemist with a PhD, has been working as a researcher and developer in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry since 1994. He has mainly worked on the development of photolithographic methods for the production of biochips and on the development of light-curing plastics. In addition to the theoretical basics, he has the necessary practical experience to assess the interaction of light with matter. As an enthusiastic aviator, he is deeply interested in the processes in the atmosphere since his youth. The present text "Dismantling The CO2-Hoax" or the German version "Demomtage des CO2-Betruges" were written from the practitioner ́s perspective who has to deliver reliable products and cannot hide behind computer models.

21 Mar 2024Climate: The Movie (The Cold Truth)01:19:53

This film exposes the climate alarm as an invented scare without any basis in science. It shows that mainstream studies and official data do not support the claim that we are witnessing an increase in extreme weather events – hurricanes, droughts, heatwaves, wildfires and all the rest. It emphatically counters the claim that current temperatures and levels of atmospheric CO2 are unusually and worryingly high. On the contrary, it is very clearly the case, as can be seen in all mainstream studies, that, compared to the last half billion years of earth’s history, both current temperatures and CO2 levels are extremely and unusually low. We are currently in an ice age. It also shows that there is no evidence that changing levels of CO2 (it has changed many times) has ever ‘driven’ climate change in the past.

07 Jul 2024Alexander Pohl: The Green Industrial Complex | Tom Nelson Pod #22901:07:34

Former London banker Alexander Pohl worked for years for one of the world’s greenest banks. Idealistically driven, he financed big wind and solar farms, genuinely convinced he was making the world a better place.

Gradually, he woke up to the fact that today’s green is a broken system. He gave up banking and emigrated with his family to his little forest paradise in remote, northern Sweden. The dream was to get back to Nature, start an eco-farm and put as much distance as he could between his family and the industrialization of nature.

Until a wind park was planned at the gates of his paradise garden.

About six years ago I set a goal to read 100 books for my own personal development and education. Two years later it became a 1000 book goal to educate and learn about the world and life.

Initially massively orientated around my professional life as a personal trainer I always want to still learn a far and wide as possible in all aspects to the human experience.

As a personal trainer I have studied over 15 000 hours on both my career and in my life passion of martial arts. However I have always tried to learn as broadly as possible about everything else I find interesting.

21 Feb 2025Richard Jeffs: Stakeholder Capitalism | Tom Nelson Pod #28001:06:20

In his recent documentary series called Stakeholder Capitalism, filmmaker and tech entrepreneur, Richard Jeffs, investigates our current undemocratic ten-year transition to an authoritarian political system called Stakeholder Capitalism. View our films and articles to learn what Stakeholder Capitalism is and how, since 2020 (when it was enacted), it’s been driving the rise in strange societal and global events.

To summarise, Stakeholder Capitalism is the brainchild of Klaus Schwab, the Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF). The WEF’s exclusive members, called Stakeholders, include the heads of all G20 countries, multinational NGOs and most fortune 500 companies. Enacted through a ten-year initiative called The Great Reset, the Stakeholders are driving our transition to a single, global, authoritarian political system called Stakeholder Capitalism.

28 May 2024David Hilderman: CO2 Emissions and Atmospheric Levels | Nelson Pod #22000:46:35

David Hilderman has a Bachelor of Applied Sciences in Electronic Information Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and has worked in the electronics industry since graduation in 1988.

David grew up in Saskatchewan, the second oldest in a family of six boys.  Since 2000 he has lived in beautiful Saanichton British Columbia, raising two great kids with his lovely wife. He went to the Victoria area to combine his engineering experience and love of music production to work for TC-Helicon, a company that makes products for performing musicians. He worked there for 19 years, five of which were in the role of Chief Operating Officer.

Early 2020 he became aware of the fact that sea level rise rates were not accelerating.  In Victoria, the rate of rise has not changed over the entire record since 1909 and is only 0.75mm/yr.   This began his research in other climate alarmist claims.  Reality is so counter to the narrative and the consequences of acting on the narrative are so detrimental that he felt he needed to do something about it.

In 2021 he ran in the federal election against the Green Party incumbent, Elizabeth May, and had the opportunity to debate her on the issue of climate five times. He continues to be active in his community, working to educate people on the benefits of increasing atmospheric CO2.

05 Sep 2023John Chizmadia: The Climate Scam | Tom Nelson Pod #14401:01:07

John Chizmadia is an entrepreneur, business developer, husband, father, and grandfather. A scholar athlete, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Political Science. He founded and was CEO of a computer hardware and software distribution company, which as part of its claim to fame, launched many tech brands that are household names today. He has a passion for history, has traveled extensively, and has used his many life experiences as the core foundation for his literary work. John and his wife (of 48 years) have lived in Colorado for 30 years.

CLIMATE SCAM is a Historical Narrative of nearly 40 years of scams about climate  control. Meticulously researched, the book presents a summary and commentary of articles, interviews, debates, and opinions about a story perpetuated by politicians, business leaders, “climate scientists”, and the gullible. The presenters claimed they could save the world from burning up; in many cases their audiences believed them even though ALL the predictions were wrong. Glaciers didn't melt, coasts weren't flooded, and polar bears weren't starving. When Al Gore got into the act and his movie, "AN INCONVENIENT TRUTH", became a hit, the money train took off. "Send money NOW!! There's no time to  waste!" The book is written very much in the style of Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Team of Rivals", William Manchester's "American Caesar", Henry Steel Commager's "The Blue and the Gray", and John Krakauer's "Into Thin Air." The reader will very quickly sense the decades of deception, robbery,  character assassinations, and get rich quick schemes that have and still are affecting everybody in the world.

14 May 2023Harry Decker: Climate realism from a longtime Arizona resident | Tom Nelson Pod #10300:25:42

After graduating from high school, HARRY DECKER spent ten years in the U.S. Air Force working with computers in military intelligence. He has lived in ten different states and took college classes in five of them. He never completed a college degree, however, due to changing his mind about his career. He has attended various technical schools over the years to keep up with the changing industry. In civilian life, he worked as a computer operator, programmer, technical writer, and tech support specialist for various companies such as Maricopa County, St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Information Network Corporation, and Charles Schwab International. His hobby at one time was tournament chess, but he dropped that and took up creative writing and filmmaking. He had a short story published five years ago titled “A. I. Gone Amok,” a fictional tale about the dangers of artificial intelligence and that the deep state was planning on releasing a virus that would kill millions. Now retired, he writes and directs plays. And he’s working on a short film. He has also written numerous technical reports over the past three years that challenge climate alarmist claims and the green agenda.

06 Aug 2024Javier Vinós: Tonga Volcano Caused Record Warming | Tom Nelson Pod #23600:35:50

- Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. School of Medicine. Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (Spain)

- Postdoctoral researcher at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Department of Biology, University of California, San Diego (USA)

- Associate Researcher at the Medical Research Center, Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge (UK)

- Staff Researcher at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research

- Topics of research: molecular genetics, neurobiology, and cancer

- Over 1200 scientific citations

- Currently unaffiliated with academic institutions

The main points from the presentation are:

1. Any annual deviation from the long-term warming trend is due to natural variability. It cannot be due to human causes.

2. Years that are warmer than the long-term trend are eventually compensated by cooler years, so the long-term trend remains, but only the warmer years become newsworthy.

3. The 2023-2024 climate event cannot be reproduced by models because they are notoriously bad at reproducing natural variability, and the Hunga Tonga eruption is unprecedented, so its full effects are unknown. The effect of the eruption is uncharted territory, not the current climate situation.

4. Although 2023 and 2024 are natural deviations from the long-term trend, there is a concerted effort by the UN and some scientists to blame them on human emissions in order to advance the energy transition agenda.

5. After a series of years that are warmer than the long-term trend, we should have a series of years that are cooler than the long-term trend because the cause of global warming responsible for the trend has not been affected. So just waiting will fix the volcanic anomaly.

09 Jan 2023#59 Howard Hayden: “the IPCC does NOT apply the Stefan-Boltzmann law to their results”00:38:31

Howard “Cork” Hayden is a Professor Emeritus of Physics from the University of Connecticut. A Pueblo native, he graduated from Aurora High School, entered the University of Denver as an engineering major, but soon discovered that he wasn’t temperamentally suited to all that reality. He switched to physics and went on to earn his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. at DU. On receiving his Ph.D., he went to the University of Connecticut where he spent 32 years doing teaching and research. He did accelerator-based atomic physics, including measurements of cross-sections for various processes, measurements of energy loss in atomic collisions and of lifetimes of excited states, beam-foil spectroscopy, and ion implantation. He performed a Trouton-Noble (1904) experiment with 100,000 times as much sensitivity as the original. Hayden has a long-standing interest in energy, stemming from before the OPEC oil embargoes of the 70s. Presently, he publishes a monthly newsletter, The Energy Advocate, which in August 2019 began its 24th year of publication.

08 Aug 2024Suresh Bansal: “Biogenic and abiotic hydrocarbons“ | Tom Nelson Pod #23701:34:32

Suresh Bansal has spent ~40 years investigating the topic of biogenic vs abiotic oil.

Some of his conclusions:

1. ~80% of current fossil fuel theory and ~80% of current abiotic oil theory is correct.

2. Both sides are ignoring the scientific evidence of the opposite side for the SAME oil deposits—the SAME oil deposit often contains a mixture of biogenic hydrocarbons and larger percentage of abiogenic hydrocarbons.

3. People sometimes use the term “organic” to refer to complex hydrocarbons, but the assumption that all complex hydrocarbons are biogenic isn’t true.

4. *Before* there was any life on Earth, a series of asteroid strikes created lots of abiotic hydrocarbons on Earth.

5. In conjunction with the series of asteroid strikes, a “gigafactory” involving lots of chemical reactions in the Earth’s atmosphere resulted in simple hydrocarbons being transformed into complex hydrocarbons which then rained down to the surface of the Earth.

6. A key compound in #5 may be tholin, a complex organic compound formed through the irradiation of simple organic molecules like methane and nitrogen, typically by ultraviolet light or cosmic rays. It's believed to be common in the outer solar system, particularly on bodies like Titan.

Peter Ridd is a geophysicist with over 100 publications and 35 years’ experience working on the Great Barrier Reef and developed a wide range of world-first optical and electronic instruments for measuring environmental conditions near corals and other ecosystems. He was head of Physics at James Cook University for over a decade before being fired, in 2018, for questioning the quality assurance systems used by reef science institutions. Some of the poor-quality work relates to the effect, or lack of effect, of climate change, and agriculture, on the reef. Ridd now works, unpaid, with agricultural organisations, and the Institute of Public Affairs to improve quality assurance systems of “science” used by Australian governments to make environmental laws and regulations.

15 Aug 2023Paul Burgess: Climate Realism | Tom Nelson Pod #13601:05:08

Paul Burgess B.Sc, MS.C, a retired Chartered Water Resources Engineer was in charge of water resource planning for large sections of the UK and sat on national UK committees. Before he retired he represented the whole of the country of Wales where he was  responsible for planning water supply, flood protection, reservoirs, hydrological and weather monitoring. He built the first mathematical model of the climate back in 1971. Retiring early from the water industry, Paul set up his own business. In the early 2000’s, Paul became aware of the growing corruption of science by the climate alarmists and then started making videos to counter the alarmism. He now has over 80 videos on the subject. He gives talks all over the UK all at his own expense in order to further the cause he feels so passionate about.

17 Sep 2024Steven Koonin and Efrat Fenigson: Climate Realism: A Sane Approach | Tom Nelson Pod #24700:52:27

Prof. Koonin is an American theoretical physicist and former director of the Center for Urban Science and Progress at NYU, as well as a professor in the Department of Civil and Urban Engineering at NYU School of Engineering. In the past he was the Chief Scientist of BP’s oil and gas division, served as Under Secretary for Science in the Department of Energy, in the Obama administration, and was the vice-president of Caltech, one of the most prestigious scientific institutes in the world.

Steven is the author of the book “Unsettled: What Climate Science Tells Us, What It Doesn’t, and Why It Matters”, where he argues that while there are some basic facts about climate change that experts agree upon, the meaning of those facts is not so settled, and mainstream scientific studies do not support the notion that there is any kind of climate crisis at all.

From Efrat Fenigson: “I cover politics, health, climate, money, economics & bitcoin, propaganda, and more. From time to time I cover the state of affairs in Israel, the broader picture of global events, and our role as sovereign citizens.”

This conversation discusses Climate Realism - the sane approach to the “Climate Change” alarmism, and the role of media in shaping public perception. We touched on topics such as the use of the term 'climate denier,' bias in the energy industry, the challenges faced by young scientists who question the climate narrative, the role of journalists in spreading misinformation, and the influence of organizations like the UN and Covering Climate Now. We talked about the viral documentary 'Climate the Movie' and censorship attempts. Lastly we touched on the funding dynamic in climate research, and geoengineering / chemtrails. Steven emphasizes the need for open scientific discussion and the importance of prudence in considering these interventions. We end with the challenges & optimism in maintaining integrity and truth-telling in a corrupted world.

11 Sep 2022#15 - Brian Catt on energy density, the climate "crock", and much more01:37:34

Acclaimed physicist and engineer Brian Catt:

I am a Chartered physicist and electrical engineer, who worked in research activities before entering technology business, where the technology has to work as claimed or you don't get paid. I returned to research and publishing in retirement, so am now informed by current experience and personal contact with leading figures in University research, as well as the industries and politics associated with the "science" that it claims to follow. Hence my view is broad and my formation covers all the areas I discuss. I question how "scientific" research really is, both at the heart of the problem being considered, and also across the broad range of University scientific research

21 Mar 2025Frits Buningh: Temperature audit | Tom Nelson Pod #28701:08:34

Frits Buningh trained in the 1970s at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) to become a mining engineer, specializing in ventilation. After working in a German coal mine in 1974, he worked in a Canadian copper mine in 1976-77—the Kid Creek Mine near Timmins, Ontario, one of the deepest underground mines in the world. Kid Creek’s #2 mine shaft was almost two miles deep (9800 feet = 1.85 Miles), and he experienced going down that deep when it was being developed. These experiences gave him a profound appreciation for geological time scales, something that seems lost amid the climate crisis hysteria of today.

18 Jul 2024Tom Shula and Markus Ott : The “Missing Link” in the Greenhouse Effect | Tom Nelson Pod #23201:53:13

About Tom Shula:

• Academic training in theoretical physics. Disillusioned with the

community and left with a M.S. to work in tech industry.

• Primary work in semiconductor and disk drive component and system

development and manufacturing.

• Brief diversions into other industries including steel mills, refining,

food processing, and waste treatment.

• Exposed to a broad range of fluid dynamic systems with pressures

ranging from kpsi to 10-12 Torr, and temperatures from 77K (liquid

nitrogen) to >1000C

• I have been extremely curious from an early age, and was considered

a top problem solver in my professional technical career

• I’ve been following the “climate change issue since the “global

cooling” scare of the 1970s. More intently since 2009.
