"The Doctor Falls" Review

In this inaugural episode, married co-hosts Jessica and Phillip introduce their respective entries into the Doctor Who franchise. They then dive into an in-depth review of "The Doctor Falls," the Twelfth Doctor's (Peter Capaldi) final episode, prior to the Chrismas special. They say goodbye to Nardole (Matt Lucas), see Bill (Pearl Mackie) turned into a Cyberman, fight two Masters (John Simm and Michelle Gomez), and watch the Doctor begin to regenerate.

In their trip into the TARDIS archives, they revisit the first appearance of the Cyberman in the First Doctor adventure, "The Tenth Planet."

What did you think of the episode? What timey-wimey topics do you want "Time & Space" to tackle in the future?

Regenerations in "nuWho"

As "Doctor Who" says goodbye to Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor, Jessica and Phillip look at some of the Time Lord's past regenerations. They discuss how 9 (Christopher Eccleston) became 10 (David Tennant) in "The Parting of the Ways," 10's change into 11 (Matt Smith) in "The End of Time, Part Two," and 11's regeneration into 12 in "The Time of the Doctor." They also talk about the Tenth's Doctor's "meta-crisis" regeneration and the War Doctor (John Hurt). Jessica and Phillip explore the mythos of regeneration - what's stayed the same and what's changed.

In their look into the TARDIS library moment, they examine the Fourth Doctor's harrowing journey in "The Deadly Assassin," the serial that first establishes the limit on the Doctor's regeneration cycle and also features the franchise's villain, The Master, attempting to extend his regeneraiton cycle.

How do you think "regenerations" have changed during "Doctor Who" and which is your favorite?

"Twice Upon a Time" Discussion

Christmastime means time for a "Doctor Who" Christmas special! This year's special includes a regenerating Doctor (Peter Capaldi), the First Doctor (David Bradley) contemplating his own regeneration, lots of time shenanigans & memories, and a new Doctor (Jodi Whitaker). Jessica and Phillip discuss their favorite moments from this year's Christmas special, and how it all ties into the larger Doctor Who canon.

In their look into the TARDIS library moment, the couple revisits "An Adventure in Space and Time," when David Bradley played William Hartnell and explored his journey as the First Doctor.

What was your favorite moment from the 2017 Christmas special? Let us know, and have a wonderful holiday season.

Series 11 Preview

It's a new year, and we are officially in the Chris Chibnall-era of "Doctor Who." Even though viewers got only a few seconds of Jodi Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor in the 2017 Christmas special, that doesn't mean they don't have enough information to speculate about what awaits in the next series. Jessica and Phillip discuss the announced companions for the new Doctor (Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole, and Mandip Gill), their backgrounds, and what a large group of companions could mean for Series 11 of "nuWho."

The married co-hosts also share their experiences seeing the Fathom Events theatrical release of the 2017 Christmas Special, "Twice Upon a Time," and what extras were included in their local cinema. In their visit to the TARDIS library, the couple examine the freshly regenerated Sixth Doctor in "The Twin Dilemma," and how confused a new Doctor can be -- especially when he tries to kill his companion!

What do you think of the recent announcements of the Thirteenth Doctor and her companions? What are you looking forward to in Series 11?
10 Jan 2018Episode 05 - A Whovian UK Holiday00:37:11
Jessica & Phillip's Visit to England

What better way to experience "Doctor Who" than in the United Kingdom? Jessica and Phillip share about their recent holiday in England where they visited "Doctor Who"-related sites and spoke to their English friends about the show. The couple talk about visiting the Earl's Court police box and their fantastic stop & interviews with Whovians at The Who Shop in London (www.thewhoshop.com).

Since they were Americans visiting the UK, it only made sense to use this episode's look into the TARDIS library to discuss the first American companion, Peri Brown, to travel with the Doctor & her introductory serial, "Planet of Fire."

For those who don't live in the UK, do you plan on visiting soon for a "Doctor Who" tour? And for British listeners, any recommended stops for foreign tourists taking a Whovian UK holiday?

"Shada" Animated Restoration Review

There's new "Doctor Who" to talk about! Well ... sorta.

The recently released "Shada," the abandoned 1979 Douglas Adams'-penned Fourth Doctor story, has hit the UK. Original footage of the Doctor (Tom Baker), Romana II (Lalla Ward), K-9, and others combined with recent animation (and original cast voices) has brought this "lost story" back to life. Jessica and Phillip review this restored classic Who story which includes "punting on the Cam," killer memory spheres, more Time Lords than you can count, TARDISes within TARDISes, and more. They see how well the "restored" story stands up and how well the live vs. animated footage mix together.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple discuses another couple -- the only time the Doctor has married his companion! That's right, they examine the 1980 marrage of Tom Baker and Lalla Ward.

What did you think of the restored "Shada"? Do you think there are other "lost" Doctor Who stories that should be animated?

A Look at the Tenth Doctor's Companions

The Doctor Who franchise is filled with many memorable companions to the Doctor. This week, Jessica and Phillip examine David Tennant's passengers in the TARDIS - Rose Tyler (Billie Piper), Martha Jones (Freema Agyeman), Donna Noble (Catherine Tate), and others. They discuss favorite moments, how the companions contrast, and how each human was changed by travelling with the Doctor.

In their look into the TARDIS library moment, Jessica and Phillip examine the Third Doctor (Jon Pertwee) adventure, "The Time Warrior," which introduced the world to a young Miss Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) for the first time.

Who was your favorite 10th Doctor companion and why? Let us know!

"The Day of the Doctor" 50th Anniversary Spotlight

Former "Doctor Who" showrunner Steven Moffat faced a difficult task when he helmed the series in 2013 - put together a 50th Anniversary special for the franchise. "The Day of the Doctor" is generally regarded as a powerhouse entry, pairing up the 10th and 11th Doctors with a "surprise" Doctor - the War Doctor. Jessica and Phillip talk about John Hurt's portrayl of this "new" Doctor, what the 9th Doctor would have been like in that role, and how well the three Time Lords played together.

For their look into the TARDIS library moment, the couple examine "The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot," a 50th Anniversary special written and directed by Peter Davison (5th Doctor), starring Colin Baker (6th Doctor), Sylvester McCoy (7th Doctor), Paul McGann (8th Doctor), and a slew of "Doctor Who" stars, both in front of and behind the camera.

What did you think of John Hurt's War Doctor? What was your favorite part of "The Day of the Doctor?"

"Doctor Who: The Movie" (1996) Analysis

The first attempt to "revive" the Doctor Who franchise after the end of the classic era was a joint produced TV movie by 20th Century Fox and the BBC. "Doctor Who: The Movie" introduced the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) and helped reboot interest in the series, as well as finding new fans. However, all these decades later, this TV movie adventure with The Master (Eric Roberts) and new companions is sometimes seen as controversial, due to some "twists" in the cannon. Jessica and Phillip talk about what they enjoyed, what they didn't, and what was ... "interesting."

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisits the last televised epiosde of classic Doctor Who, "Survival." In the Seventh Doctor (Sylvester McCoy) and Ace's final television adventure, will The Master (Anthony Ainley) and the Cheetah People transform our heroes?

Did you watch the Doctor Who TV movie? Would you have liked to see it continue as a series?
14 Feb 2018Episode 10 - Cute, Scary, or Overused?00:33:53
Favorite Aliens

Daleks, Cybermen, and Sontarans -- oh my! The myriad of aliens and monsters in Doctor Who are almost too numerous to name. Jessica and Phillip go through a round-robin listing of their favorite aliens in the franchise. Adipose, Silurians, Vashta Nerada, the Ood, and more make an apperance -- which ones should be used again and which ones should be given a rest for a series or more? Let us know your favorites! Which ones should the Thirteenth Doctor meet again?

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple examines the first aliens to appear in "Doctor Who" - The Daleks. They discuss how much have these infamous villains changed since their first introduction in 1963 with the First Doctor.
21 Feb 2018Episode 11 - Friends, Romans, Companions00:45:43
A Look at the Eleventh Doctor's Companions

This week brings "breaking news" with a new 13th Doctor teaser, a new "Doctor Who" logo, and a release date (sort of!) for the new series. Jessica and Phillip then discuss the 11th Doctor's (Matt Smith) companions, focusing on Amy (Karen Gillan) and Clara (Jenna Coleman). They also examine the Paternoster trio, Rory Williams, and other miscellanous TARDIS travellers - especially how the characters evolved over time.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple visits the Second Doctor and the introduction of Colonel (later Brigadier) Lethbridge-Stewart (Nicholas Courtney) in "The Web of Fear" (one of the infamous "lost" serials of the Patrick Troughton era).

What do you think of the new DW logo?

"A Christmas Carol" Discussion

Nothing says Christmas Day like a "Doctor Who" Christmas special! Despite it being the "off season," Jessica and Phillip jump into the 11th Doctor's first special, "A Christmas Carol." It's a Whovian-spin on the classic Charles Dickens' tale, featuring time travel, memories changing, singing to fish, several Frank Sinatra references, and a bittersweet ending. Guest stars Sir Michael Gambon and Welsh singer Katherine Jenkins make memorable appearances, thereby marking this special a must-watch annual holiday Doctor Who tradtion.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple travel to the Doctor's first Christmas episode airing, with "The Feast of Steven," the seventh episode of the 12-episode serial "The Daleks' Master Plan." The First Doctor, Steven (oddly enough...), and Katarina stumble their way through pratfalls and mistaken idenity in this holiday panto.

What is your favorite "Doctor Who" Christmas special?
07 Mar 2018Episode 13 - Gone Before His Time00:38:20
The Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston)

He has many names - "The Oncoming Storm" and "The Last of The Time Lords" - but the Ninth Doctor is also "The Doctor That Re-Launched the Franchise." Jessica and Phillip look at the shortest-serving Doctor to travel in the TARDIS on television, and what his single series brought to the franchise. From accents to simple dress, from companion relationships to what might have been had he stayed, they discuss the legacy of 9,

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple re-visits "Terror of the Vervoids" (aka The Trial of a Time Lord) and the introduction of companion Melanie (Mel) Bush. Just like many Whovians were unsure of Billie Piper being cast as a companion to the Ninth Doctor in the 2005 re-launch of the series, some fans were wary about former child actor Bonnie Langford entering the franchise. How does her abrupt introduction with the Sixth Doctor work?

What is your favorite Ninth Doctor moment? Le us know!

Gallifrey One Convention

It's fun and thrilling to watch "Doctor Who," but there's nothing like experiecing the fandom with fellow Whovians. Gallifrey One (www.gallifreyone.com) bills itself as the longest-running, largest fan-run Doctor Who convention. It's held in Los Angeles in February annually and will celebrate its 30th year in 2019. Jessica & Phillip roll out the welcome mat for their first guest - a Gallifrey One "vet," Kat Griffiths (@xanister). She shares her experiences of going to #gally1 and what the recent 2018 con was like. She also gives tips to first time con go-ers, including how to get the best deals on "merch!"

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple look at the introduction of a Time Lady - the Rani, in the Sixth Doctor serial "The Mark of the Rani." How does this woman from Gallifrey complicate the Doctor and Peri's visit to the beginning of the Industrial Revolution?

What's your favorite Doctor Who con?

Charity Specials

There are a variety of "Doctor Who" extra episodes, usually around holidays, anniversaries or DVD/Blu-Ray releases. However, the TARDIS and Time Lord traditionally appear in specials during two annual charity telethons: Children in Need and Red Nose Day (Comic Relief). Jessica and Phillip go through all the "mini-sodes" throughout the years, including Christmas special promos and extra scenes. They also talk "The Catharine Tate Show," "Call the Midwife," and "The Sarah Jane Adventures" specials.

A YouTube link to some of the charity specials: Click Here

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple look at "Dimensions in Time," the 1993 Children in Need special featuring classic Doctors 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, as well as a variety of companions. Jessica and Phillip discuss whether this 30th Anniversary special was a random mashup of "EastEnders" or an enjoyable Doctor Who experience.

What has been your favorite charity special?
28 Mar 2018Episode 16 - A Familiar Face00:32:15
Lead Actors' Prior "Who" Appearances

It's no surprise that, with so many actors appearing in "Doctor Who," some get "re-cast" in other Whovian roles throughout the years. However, a few of the main actors in the franchise previously appeared in other episodes. Jessica and Phillip look at Eve Myles appearing as a guest star before moving on to "Torchwood," and Freema Agyeman appearing in a Tenth Doctor story before being cast as the new Tenth Doctor companion. They then do an in-depth discussion of "The Fires of Pompeii," with guest actors Karen Gillan and Peter Capaldi before they became, respectively, a companion and a Doctor.

Peter Capaldi was not the first Doctor to appear previously in the franchise as a guest role - in their look into the TARDIS library, the couple examine the Fifth Doctor story "Arc of Infinity," with a Gallifreyan security chief played by soon-to-be-Doctor Colin Baker.

Do you think all actors' prior appearances in "Doctor Who" should be tied together in their characters' stories?

Fifty Plus Years Worth of Intros

There is nothing like sitting down to watch another episode of "Doctor Who" - and each of the various intros have their own character to them. Whether it's a different theme tune arrangement, various special effects, or even a winking animated Doctor head! Phillip, Daniel, and Darren sit down in this episode during the week of April 1st to talk about their thoughts of "the black and white era," the 70s, 80s, and nuWho/Davies & Moffat era introductions to the show. What changed? What stayed the same? And what might be like to see with 13's intro?

In their look into the TARDIS library, the examine the first colour episode in the franchise, the introduction of Jon Pertwee's 3rd Doctor in "Spearhead from Space."

Which is your favorite intro of "Doctor Who"?
18 Apr 2018Episode 18 - A Song in Time01:05:03
River Song Profile

Besides the Doctor, perhaps no other "Doctor Who" character is as "timey-whimey" as his wife - Dr. River Song (Alex Kingston). Jessica and Phillip try to make sense of her life and times by watching all her episode appearances in the order of her personal chronology and ask ... does it make sense? From baby Melody Pond to regenerated Mel to the River Song we all know (and love!), how does the trial and tribulations of this psychopath assassin become the great love of the Doctor?

In their look in the TARDIS library, the couple visit the First Doctor (William Hartnell) as he falls in love and becomes engaged to Cameca (Margot Van der Burgh) in the early serial "The Aztecs."

Time Ladies

The women of Gallifrey, no matter what regeneration, are as formidable as male Gallifreyans. With the 13th Doctor's first series on the horizon, Jessica and Phillip look back at other Time Ladies and what their legacy is for Jodi Whittaker. They discus Missy, Jenny ("The Doctor's Daughter"), Susan Foreman, and others. Twelfth Doctor's Companions Overview

Change isb't easy, but in "Doctor Who," we often have companions who help us transition to a new Doctor. The arrival of the 12th Doctor (Peter Capaldi) meant that Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) had to serve as the audience surrogate and help the transition from bow ties & fezzes to a no hugging magician. Clara's relationship with 12 is different from her interactions with 11, and after she left, audiences got to meet Nardole (Matt Lucas) and Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie). Jessica and Phillip talk about the unique aspects of these companions to the 12th Doctor and how they relate to companions past and future.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple visit "The Power of the Daleks," as Ben and Polly must cope with the first regeneration of the Doctor ever. How do these companions help the audience with this first change in the Doctor?

Companion Exits

Companions come and go - sometimes sad, sometimes not. However, the way they leave the TARDIS and the Doctor can be controversial at times. Jessica and Phillip look at how all of the nuWho companions have left and whether it made sense. They also connect them to "classic" companion exits to see if there are any patterns to how the TARDIS journey ends.

In their look into the TARDIS library, they travel to the 5th Doctor adventure "Earthshock" for a rare companion death.

Which companion's exit is the most memorable?
23 May 2018Episode 23 - It's Gotta Be the Jacket00:50:24
Captain Jack Harkness Overview

The man, the myth, the Time Agent - Captain Jack began as companion to the 9th Doctor but soon bolted to head the "Doctor Who" spin-off "Torchwood," and became a legend in the fandom. What makes this sexually-charged, dynamic, vortex manipulator-wearing leader such a Whovian star? Jessica and Phillip talk about his time with the Doctor and Torchwood, and their encounters with the man behind the character - John Barrowman.

In their look into the TARDIS library, they revisit another West End star who served as a companion - Bonnie Langford's Mel in her last serial "Dragonfire." The couple look at how this Seventh Doctor adventure sorta got rid of Mel as an afterthought as it welcomed Ace (Ace!) as the new companion.

What's your favorite Captain Jack moment?
30 May 2018Episode 24 - Everyone Dies and Gets Naked00:56:20
"Torchwood" Overview

There are Whovians ... and then there are "Torchwood" fans. Which ones are more "hardcore"? Regardless of the answer, Jessica and Phillip focus on the "Doctor Who" spin-off "Torchwood" this week - along with its four series and other forms of life. They look at all things Captain Jack, Gwen, Ianto, Tosh and Owen ... as well as Rhys and Andy.

In their look into the TARDIS library, they examine the first episode of the OTHER spin-off - "The Sarah Janes Adventures." The couple talks about their first viewing of "Invasion of the Bane" and why they look forward to watching the complete series 1 of SJA.

06 Jun 2018Episode 25 - Don't Call Them 'Borgs'00:51:28
Episode of the Cybermen

They are one of the Doctor's most-feared enemies: The Cybermen. From the earliest "sock monkeys" of "The Tenth Planet" and the First Doctor to the metallic cyborgs of the 12th Doctor era, these villains have evolved over the deceades. What makes them so interesting? Why do fans keep looking forward to their stories?

Jessica and Phillip focus on the IDW graphic novel series "Assimilation2" which mixes up the worlds of "Doctor Who" and "Star Trek: The Next Generation." They look at how the Cybermen teaming up with the Borg makes a story big enough for the 11th Doctor and the crew of the Enterprise-D.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisit "The Tomb of the Cybermen," a fan favorite story of the cybernetic foes. The 2nd Doctor, Victoria, and Jamie must battle the ancient Cybermen being awoken by foolish humans.

"The Enemy of the World" Review

There is always a celebration to be had in "Doctor Who" fandom when a so-called "lost story" is found, made complete, and restored. Such was the case with the 2nd Doctor serial, "The Enemy of the World." It was recovered complete, just a few years ago, and this past year it was restored in a new release, along with some fascinating extras. Jessica and Phillip examine this interesting six-episode story that features Patrick Troughton playing two main roles - the Doctor and the evil Salamander.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple look at Matt Smith's turn at playing both the protaganist and antagonist in the Neil Gaiman-written 11th Doctor episode "Nightmare in Silver."

20 Jun 2018Episode 27 - Really Loud Voice & A Plunger00:47:17
Episode of the Daleks

They are the epitome of Doctor Who villians - the Daleks. These pepper pots have captured Whovian imaginations for over 50 years - so what makes them so timeless? Jessica and Phillip take a close (but safe) look at the aliens, using the first feature film "Dr. Who and the Daleks" (1965).

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisits the Seventh Doctor's encounter with the Skaro aliens in "Remembrance of the Daleks."

Companions as The Doctor

Jessica takes charge this episode by asking two questions: 1) What is the definition of a "Doctor Who" companion? and 2) Which companion would make the best Doctor?

The Whovian debate about favorite Doctors and companions will last forever, but not many companions would be able to take the wheel ... er, switch? ... of the TARDIS. Jessica and Phillip take turns listing their nominations for which companion could fill the Time Lord's shoes.

Do you agree with their definiton of a companion or do you have one of your own? And which companion would you nominate as the best able to be a "Doctor"?
04 Jul 2018Episode 29 - Big Red Button Times00:48:05
Big Moral Decisions of the Doctor

The Doctor often has the fate of the planet Earth or even the whole universe in his hands - the decisions he makes affects the fates of entire galaxies. Jessica and Phillip ask - does the Doctor always make the right choice? They explore the big moral decisions in "Doctor Who," like whether to use The Moment to end the Time War by destroying Gallifrey and the Dalek fleet. They also look at how the Doctor's frequent interferences and the consequences might make the Time Lords' doctrine of non-interference look more attractive.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisits the Fourth Doctor's big decision in "Genesis of the Daleks" - has he the right to destroy the Daleks in their infancy?

Is there a decision or action by the Doctor that you disagree with?
11 Jul 2018Episode 30 - Snooze Button on Death00:45:10
The Many Deaths of the Doctor (7-12)

Endings can be sad, but they are also celebrations of the journey. All that to say - the Doctor has died many times, but each time "Doctor Who" ends, we get to say goodbye, look back on that particular Doctor's life and times, and ready ourselves for the next regeneration. Jessica and Phillip talk about the deaths of the Seventh thru Twelfth Doctors, trying to spot any patterns and what sets them apart.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple examines "Planet of the Spiders," as the Third Doctor faces his final fear, with a death in the spider crystal caves.

What's your favorite Doctor death scene?

In Focus: TARDIS

The most reconigizable part of "Doctor Who" is that time traveling, blue police box, the TARDIS. She's been a constant presence, but how much do we know about this Time Lord ship? Jessica and Phillip examine the TARDIS as an active character in the show, from how she reacts to companions to how she communicates with the Doctor.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple co-hosts examine "Attack of the Cybermen," when the Sixth Doctor actually (kinda) fixes the TARDIS' chamelon circuit, and we see it appear as non-police box objects.

What would be the best substitute for the police box as a new TARDIS appearance? What would be the worst?
25 Jul 2018Episode 32 - Post-Doc Pursuits00:39:40
Companions' Post-TARDIS Lives

We all have favorite and non-favorite companions. But, no matter what, we love to see them running around with the Doctor, having adventures in time and space. But what about when companions leave the TARDIS? How does their time spent in the past and future affect their "regular" lives back on Earth? Jessica and Phillip examine companions lives after "Doctor Who" says goodbye to them.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisits The Sarah Jane Adventures story "Death of the Doctor," featuring the return of Jo Jones (nee Grant). The classic companions discuss what's happened to their TARDIS brethern throughout the years, and what it means to move on from life in the TARDIS.

Which companion do you think had the best post-TARDIS life?

Casting Celebrities

When you're a known actor who is hired for "Doctor Who," whether as a Doctor or companion, it can cause some fans to be excited or nervous. Jessica and Phillip examine those actors who came to the franchise with notable previous roles and how that affected their time in the TARDIS. From one-hit wonder Billie Piper to comedianne Catherine Tate, they co-hosts examine how it all worked out.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple examines Peter Davison's first time in the cricket outfit in "Castrovalva." Davison was coming off a memorable role on "All Creatures Great and Small..." to become to Fifth Doctor, how did his first serial cement him as the Doctor?

Jessica and Phillip are joined by fellow "Broadchurch" fan Lindsay to dissect what this series portends for the new series of "Doctor Who."

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple look at Chris Chibnall's first "Doctor Who" episode - "47." This Tenth Doctor adventure gives us another look into what awaits us with the Thirteenth Doctor.

Everyone has their list of favorite Doctors - but what if we tried to rank the different Time Lord incarnations using more objective factors? Jessica and Phillip draw up their ranking of the "numbered" Doctors using criteria such as strength of companions, good stories, and how excited you are to see a serial of that Doctor. Their two lists ending being similar but not the same.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple revisit the Fourth Doctor story "City of Death," and why a strong story like this makes Tom Baker's Doctor a favorite.

Writing a Ninth Doctor Christmas Special

The Eccleston Era of Doctor Who gave us many things - but not a Christmas special. Jessica and Phillip write on the spot what a Ninth Doctor Christmas special would look like, featuring Rose, Captain Jack, and some new special friends on an Arthurian adventure. The trio land in Avalon, but Rose finds herself spending the Winter Solstice with Morgan le Fey whilst the Doctor and Jack enter Camelot. Both Arthur and Morgan find themselves chasing a mysterious treasure that has foretold - whoever gets there first may have the power to change the world! Will Doctor as Merlin tip the balance of power in King Authur's direction? Or will Rose lead Morgan's acolytes into finding the treasure first? With Captain Jack working his way around the Knights of the Round Table, the treasure may turn out to be something that unites the two factions ... as only a Christmas present can. Let us know what you think of this unique Doctor Who story. Lastly, in their look into the TARDIS library, the couple review the War Doctor's first appearance in Big Finish.

Tenth Doctor Animated Adventures

The Richard E. Grant Ninth Doctor entered the world of the animation with "Scream of the Shalka." The Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) continued that tradition with two animated stories - "The Infinite Quest" and "Dreamland." These two entries in the "Doctor Who" franchise look different from each other, but still provide an interesting look into an alternate approach in making new Doctor stories. Jessica and Phillip watch these two episodes for the first time in celebration of David Tennant month.

In their look into the TARDIS library, the couple review Russell T. Davies series "Casanova," starring a pre-Doctor Who David Tennant. This is the show that seems to have led to the casting of Tennant as the Doctor - and there are quite a few familiar things about it for Whovians.
