01 Nov 2018Gordon Kennedy01:10:19
Gordon Kennedy is truly one of the nicest, kindest, most dangerous, Christ loving gentlemen I’ve ever met. The ultimate quadruple threat, writer, singer, guitar player, producer, he can seriously do it all. I’m always a little intimidated because of my own hero worship when I’m around GK.

01 Nov 2018Bob DiPiero01:11:03
Bob DiPiero, what else can I say? Unreal writer, giver, encourager, mentor, and the best guitar player in his price range! This guy helped get me goin’, I listen to him, I look up to him, I love him.

01 Nov 2018Kyle Cook01:15:59
Kyle Cook is a jack of all trades, he can play, write, produce, perform, and do it all well. Born in small town Indiana, he made his way through Atlanta to Florida to become the guitarist for Matchbox 20, who in the late 90’s and into the 2000’s, sold tons of records, tons of tickets, and had tons of hits. Since then, Kyle and myself have become great friends and have written a bunch of songs.

01 Nov 2018Jessi Alexander00:49:53
Jessi Alexander is a rare bird indeed. She can sing a sad song that you will make you smile, or write a song that cut your soul so deep. I’ve been lucky enough to write with her, and also watch her and her husband, Jon Randall, grow together through music and having babies. I love this gal.

01 Nov 2018Dave Rude00:55:24
Dave Rude is just one of my favourite people in the world, period. He’s equally at home explaining the heaviest metal riff that I’ve ever heard or writing an acoustic love song with me via skype while entertaining his son with pirates, all at the same time. Dave’s in one of the best prog/metal bands of all time in my opinion, Tesla, but you’d never know it whilst chatting about coffee, or pirates

01 Nov 2018Jason Charles Miller00:47:00
Jason Charles Miller grew up in Virginia, the son of 2 writers. He started what I would label a dark, industrial, metal band called Godhead that caught the eyes and ears of Marylyn Manson which resulting in Jason and band toured the world with him for 2 years. 7 Godhead albums later, he started kickin’ out some heavy country/southern rock and has recorded 4 albums and is killin’ it on the road. I’ve seriously enjoyed writing with Jason, and consider him to be one of my most thoughtful, interesting friends.

01 Nov 2018Charlie Crowe01:23:13
Charlie Crowe spent 12-14 yrs. bangin’ on his guitar in Brooks and Dunn, he then left and now he’s back spending weeks at a time in Vegas playing with B&D and Reba. But there’s a lot more to him than that. We’ve been friends and co-writers for years. Charlie gave me the much envied name “Guitar Holder” I’m pretty sure that’s not a compliment.

21 Jan 2019Rickey Medlocke01:02:48
It’s so hard to put into words how much fan boy admiration I have for Rickey Medlocke. I grew up listening to ‘Train, Train’ almost every day at lunch time, learning his licks, hell, I even bought a Hamer Standard because that’s what he played. I went to Rickey’s hotel on the day of the Nashville Skynyrd show and we met in the restaurant that was closed to do this interview, so you may hear some backround music. Blackfoot, Lynyrd Skynyrd, writer, singer, front man, guitar man, friend. I love this guy. Rickey Medlocke.

04 Feb 2019Terry McBride01:18:40
T-Mack! Brother Mac-bride. What can I say about Terry McBride that he hasn’t already said about himself. HA!! One of the best voices country music has ever heard. An unbelievable songwriter and one of the most musical cats I’ve ever been privileged to call my friend.

18 Feb 2019Leslie Satcher01:09:59
Leslie Satcher is one of those few people here in the songwriting community that you just count your blessings when you’re in the same room as her. A voice like an angel, a songwriter with over 1000 cuts, and one of the best laughs you’ve ever been blessed to be around. Man oh man, thank you God for Leslie Satcher, hang on, here we go!

04 Mar 2019Tyler Chiarelli01:08:15
What a great story this lad Tyler Chiarelli has. He dared to dream like most of us as a kid, but he acted on those dreams like few of us. From watching his Pop play guitar at the kitchen table to leading Florida Georgia Line through they’re paces in front of over 20,000 rabid country fans and all points in between, I’m so thankful to have this cat as my friend, Tyler Chiarelli.

18 Mar 2019Rick Cua00:52:13
Rick Cua is a man of many talents. Killer writer, singer, bass player, and pastor. He went from playing in clubs to playing in The Outlaws, then making Christian albums, blues albums, and now he’s one of the pastors at my church, Grace Chapel.
