I stumbled across this book by accident and it’s the first time in a long time that I’ve related to the words inside. Ben challenges his own anxiety and mindset to help build up his resilience by setting himself challenges. The book is full of challenges that you can complete yourself and include everything from cold showers to waiting in a queue and walking away when you get to the front. From someone who’s struggled recently with my anxiety this book has really helped in keeping myself focus and actually have fun whilst doing it!

04 Nov 2021Self Worth!00:07:48

Hello!

Bit of a weird one this week as I'm doing my first Solo Episode in over a year!

This episode is a reminder to myself and to anyone else that may need it that we deserve to be happy, we are so much more than our mental and physical challenges!

I've been a bit of a hypocrite lately and have been doing the complete opposite to the posts on Instagram reminding people to take care of your mental health and wellbeing

I'm glad to say I'm coming through the other side of it but I want this episode to be a reminder to myself and anyone else that no Job, Person or Relationship is worth your mental health

You deserve to be happy!

Joining me for a waffle is the brilliant Bolton legend, Seb Fitzharris!

You may recognize Seb from the BBC Three reality TV show Go Hard or Go Home, where he faced some of the most intense physical and mental challenges ever!

When I watched the show, I was instantly drawn to Seb's journey, as it resonated a lot with my own. Seb signed up for the show after losing his beautiful Mum to a battle with cancer. Seb opens up about his journey so far, his grief, his vulnerabilities, and why it's ok for us lads to show emotion.

This episode is a powerful one; I laughed, cried, and felt nothing but inspired from my waffle with him and the story behind the show that 'changed his life forever'.

I hope you like it!
