Jess Root continues his series of preview interviews for each of the Arizona Cardinals' 2021 opponents. In this edition, he speaks with Acme Packing Company's Justis Mosqueda to talk about the Green Bay Packers and Panthers Wire's Tim Weaver to talk about the Carolina Panthers. 

The Arizona Cardinals are more than a week into training camp, What is there to know? Seth and Jess break down the early storylines and more. 

Jess talks to Colts Wire managing editor Kevin Hickey and Cowboys Wire managing editor K.D. Drummond to discuss the 2020 season, the offseason and the outlook for 2021 for the Cardinals' two final non-division opponents, the Indianapolis Colts and Dallas Cowboys. 

The Arizona Cardinals have reported for and started training camp. Jess and Seth break things down — questions, position battles, players who need to step up, concerns and potential surprises and disappointments. 

This is the fifth of six opponent preview shows, looking at the Arizona Cardinals' Wee 13 and 15 opponents, the Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. 

In the very first Revenge of the Birds show, Jess and Seth talk about the Arizona Cardinals and the move from Flagstaff to Glendale for training camp, the good and the bad about the change. Arizona Cardinals superstar wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald joins Jess to talk a little bit about the offseason changes the team underwent. Specifically, Larry answers questions about how the coaching change affected him personally, how Ken Whisenhunt and Bruce Arians differ in interactions with players and demeanor, his offseason training and the excitement he has for this coming season. He tells of the young receivers that are standing out. 

The Arizona Cardinals have two games in the books. Jess and Seth talk about what they have liked and disliked after two games and what they want to see before final cuts. 

The Arizona Cardinals are closing out the preseason with the Denver Broncos. Following the first round of NFL roster cuts and in the midst of a major injury to rookie Jonathan Cooper, Jess, Seth and Ben talk about the moves the Cardinals made and will likley make. What will be of Ryan Williams? Tony Jefferson? The offensive line with Cooper out? 

The Arizona Cardinals are set to start off the NFL season against the St. Louis Rams. Jess brings in special guest 3K from Turf Show Times to discuss the game and what the Rams bring to the table. We talk about the Rams defensive line, Tavon Austin and the offseason they had, as well as the expectations. 

The Arizona Cardinals lost their season opener 27-24 to the St. Louis Rams. Jess, Seth and Ben talk about why the Cardinals should have won, who is to blame, and more, looking ahead to the home opener against the Lions this Sunday. 

After a 27-24 loss to the St. Louis Rams, the Arizona Cardinals look to regroup against the Detroit Lions at home. Jess talks to Sean Yuille from Pride of Detroit about the matchup. 

The Arizona Cardinals defeated the Detroit Lion in come from behind fashion on Sunday. Jess and Seth talk about the game, concerns, the new defensive looks, the young players and their contributions and a look ahead to the Saints.

The Arizona Cardinals hit the road to face the New Orleans Saints. Of course, that means talking to SB Nation's Dave Cariello, who runs Canal Street Chronicles, a Saints community. 
Dave talks to Jess about the matchups and the season that the Saints are having, as well as a prediction for the game on Sunday.

The Arizona Cardinals lost on Sunday 31-7 to the New Orleans Saints. They lost three defensive starters in the process. The ROTB Radio team talk about it and their concerns moving forward. 

The Arizona Cardinals are in Florida getting ready to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, led by rookie QB Mike Glennon. Jess brings in Bucs Nation writer JC Delatorre and talks to him about the Buccaneers, Josh Freeman and what Cardinals fans can expect to see from their team's next opponent.

The Arizona Cardinals enter the bye week at 4-4 after a 27-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons. The defense starred with four interceptions of Matt Ryan and Andre Ellington ran for 154 yards. The ROTB Radio crew talk about the biggest issues coming out of the game as the team enters the bye. 

After the bye week for the Arizona Cardinals, the ROTB Radio crew jumps back on the air to talk about the roster moves by the team, grade the different position groups so far this year and look ahead to the 2014 NFL Draft. 

The Arizona Cadinals won their second straight with a 27-24 win over the Houston Texans. The ROTB Radio crew talk about the win, Rashard Mendenhall, Carson Palmer, the defense and the play of Rob Housler and Andre Roberts. Can the Cardinals keep in the playoff race?

After the Arizona Cardinals took care of business in Florida, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-14. At 6-4, they are firmly in the playoff race. Seth and Jess talk about the win, what went well, Carson Palmer's play and the rest of the schedule and how things could play out the rest of the way.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is a guest on the show, courtesy of EAS, to talk to Jess about the offseason, the loss of a couple of teammates and the addition of a new left tackle via free agency. He also talks about what the offense could do in Year 2 under Bruce Arians. And, being National Nutrition Month, he explains what he and EAS are promote for better health. 

The Arizona Cardinals have made a few moves during the first week of free agency. The let Karlos Dansby  and Andre Roberts go, but picked up Jared Veldheer and others. Jess and Seth react to the moves and their impact on the draft and the depth chart.

Seth and Jess come back after a bit of a hiatus to talk about the NFL Draft, which will happen on Thursday. Who will the Arizona Cardinals pick? Will they trade down? Who will go at the top of the draft?

Where, at all, will the Cardinals go with a quarterback and who might that be?

Who are some later round guys that could be a good fit for Arizona? Who would not be a good fit? 

Also, they will take Twitter questions and phone calls if anyone dials in. 

After a long, long wait, the NFL Draft is over and now it is time to start grading, analyzing and projecting. Jess and Seth talk about what the Arizona Cardinals did in this year's draft. They break down each pick and what they bring to the table. Were they good picks? Who could have been the picks instead? Who are the favorite and least favorite picks? What roles will they fill now and moving forward?

They also talk about the league in general and the quarterbacks that were selected. Who came away with a good draft? Who didn't do so well? What quarterbacks landed in a good spot? Tune in for more draft talk. 

The Arizona Cardinals, as well as the rest of the NFL, have held rookie camp and have begun OTAs. Seth and Jess talk about the recent offseason moves the Cardinals have made, releasing running back Ryan Williams, signing a ton of undrafted rookies and swapping them our with some tryout players. They talk about Rob Housler and possible trade value, as well as the whole notion of Andre Ellington getting 25-30 touches a game. 

The Arizona Cardinals had bad news with the drig suspension of Pro Bowl linebacker Daryl Washington. Jess and Seth talk about the implications. Should the team have paid him his bonus and kept Karlos Dansby around? Does he have a future in Arizona after the suspension? What will the Cardinals to do to replace him? Do the Cardinals have a chance to make the NFL playoffs in 2014, or are their chances done? Is Kevin Minter ready to be the leader and playmaker in the middle of the field?

The NFL is in the middle of their mini-camp part of the offseason and the Arizona Cardinals completed them. Seth and Jess discuss the biggest stories coming out of mini-camp and the questions that still remain. Likewise, with the news that the team will add Kurt Warner to the team's Ring of Honor, they discuss if it is the right decision, the right time and what other Cardinals or former Cardinals should also be on their way to being immortalized.

The Arizona Cardinals finally played some real football, netting a 32-0 shutout win over the Houston Texans on Saturday at Univeristy of Phoenix Stadium. The offense played well, the defense stifled the Texans and kicker Chandler Catanzaro made all his kicks. Logan Thomas looked like a potential franchise QB and the receiving corps, playing without Michael Floyd and Ted Ginn, looked great. 

Jess and Seth review the game, give some overreactions and talk about who stood out, who needs to step up and also concerns moving forward as the Cardinals play on the road in Minnesota this weekend. 

The Arizona Cardinals will continue their preseason slate this weekend, taking to the road to face the Minnesota Vikings. Since the Vikings went through an offseason of change that includes a new coaching staff amd drafting a new quarterback. To get ready for the game, Ted Glover from SB Nation's Daily Norseman is a guest with Jess to give Arizona Cardinals fans the lowdown about Minnesota's offseason and give some insight about the team the Cardinals will play. 

The Arizona Cardinals in consecutive days lost defensive tackle Darnell Dockett and got back safety Tyrann Mathieu and defensive tackle Alameda Ta'amu. Seth and Jess are back on the air to talk about the implications of the loss of the veteran and the return of the two previously injured players. They also discuss the team's preseason loss to the Minnesota Vikings and issue sthey are having at left guard and other positions. They also discuss whether or not the team should explore trade options where they have a surpluss of talent at certain positions. 

The Arizona Cardinals will face the Cincinnati Bengals in their third preseason game. This game is the closest thing to real football as we get in the preseason. To get to know the Bengals a little better, Jess brought on Cincy Jungle's Scott Bantel to get the lowdown of their offseason. It just so happened to be that news had just broken that linebacker Vontaze Burfict, a player many Cardinals fans know because of his time at Arizona State, got a new contract. Scott talks about Andy Dalton and his perception among Bengals fans, as well as how fans see Carson Palmer, the current starting QB for the Cardinals. 

Scott gives info about the offseason, the coaching changes and draft picks. He tells us about how the team looks in the preseason and expectations for the season. 

The Arizona Cardinals lost their third preseason game to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday Night Football. They also made their first roster cuts, trimming the roster to the required 75 players. Among the cuts were quarterback Ryan Lindley and kicker Jay Feely, who was beat out for the kicking position by undrafted rookie Chandler Catanzaro. 

Jess and Seth talk about the takeaways from the game and comment on the cuts that were made. Were there any surprises? How are the position battles shaping up as the team heads into their final preseason contest?

The Arizona Cardinals and the rest of the NFL have cut their rosters down to 53 players and have begun forming their practice squads. Jess and Seth talk about what happened with the Cardinals, who stayed, who was cut and who came back. They give their reactions, what surprises there were and what regrets the team might have. 

But that isn't all! It is season preview. The two hosts give their projections for the season for the Cardinals. ONe picks them to go 10-6 and the other 9-7. But do they make the playoffs?

They also talk about players and projected numbers. How many yards will Andre Ellington get in 2014?

The Arizona Cardinals will open the 2014 NFL season at home on Monday Night Football, hosting the San Diego Chargers. That meant bringing on Bolts from the Blue's John Gennaro for a show. John and Jess talked about a lot -- the Chargers, the Cardinals and their matchup, Ken Whisenhunt and even Tom Tupa (you have to hear it to know what they are talking about). 

In addition to looking at the strengths and weaknesses of both teams, both John and Jess give their predictions -- both expecting a shootout on a late Monday night. 

The Arizona Cardinals kicked off their 2014 NFL season with a Monday Night Football matchup against the San Diego Chargers. After a dull first half and the Chargers taking an 11-point lead in the second half, Carson Palmer led the rally in the fourth quarter to secure a comeback 18-17 win to start off the season. 

Looking back at the game, Jess and Seth give the gut feelings they had as they watched the game and then delve into the numbers. 

They look at the encouraging and the concerning parts of the game. They discuss the inactives and injuries and they declare the Cardinals not only contenders, but a very good team that should be expected to win football games.

After a Week 1 win on Monday Night Football, the Arizona Cardinals will travel to New York and play the Giants in Week 2. The Arizona Cardinals defeated the New York Giants in the NFL's Week 2 playing on the road. They did so without starting quarterback Carson Palmer, as he was out with a nerve issue in his shoulder.

The Arizona Cardinals lost for the first time this season. It was a 41-20 shellacking by Peyton  Manning and the Denver Broncos. The Cardinals were defeated, injured and insulted. There was a dirty chop block, no running game, a concussion to Drew Stanton, which led to Logan Thomas having to play, a bunch of bad throws by the rookie and one fantastic one that went for a big touchdown.

The Arizona Cardinals got another quality win on Sunday, defeating the Detroit Lions 14-6 to improve to 9-1. They have a two-game lead on everyone in the NFC and a three-game lead in the NFC West. They just keep winning.

With the Arizona Cardinals heading up to the Pacific Northwest to play the defending champion Seattle Seahawks, it meant that it was time to talk some football with Danny Kelly of Field Gulls.

The Arizona Cardinals saw their six-game losing streak come to an end in Seattle, as they sputtered to a 19-3 loss to the defending champs. In the aftermath, Seth and Jess talk about the roster move that brings a new running back and the good and the bad from the loss. They also discuss their playoff outlook moving forward and whether Cardinals fans should start worrying. 

Coming up this coming Sunday is a showdown against the NFC South-leading Atlanta Falcons (even though they are 4-7). The hosts look ahead at the game to close out the show.

The Arizona Cardinals return home after a two-game swing on the road that resulted in a pair of disappointing...and embarrassing losses. This week's opponents are the 7-5 Kansas City Chiefs, a team that is desperate to keep up in the AFC West and AFC playoff picture. 

To preview the Week 14 matchup, Arrowhead Pride's Matt Verderame joins Jess on the show to talk about Kansas City and the season they have had. Their offseason will come up, the play of the defense, their draft, Alex Smith, Jamaal Charles and the strange fact they have yet to have a touchdown pass to a wide receiver in 2014. 

The Arizona Cardinals got the ship right, at least for a week, when they got a 17-14 come-from-behind win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. They got a key contribution from running back Kerwynn Williams and big plays from Alex Okafor, Jaron Brown and Deone Bucannon, with an assist on a replay. 

On the show, Jess and Seth talk about the good and the bad from the game, discuss the play of Jonathan Cooper, who got his first NFL start and also debate whether Williams is the answer to the running game the rest of the way. The Arizona Cardinals clinched a potseason berth last Thursday with a win over the St. Louis Rams. In the win, though, they lost quarterback Drew Stanton for a few weeks. Jess amd Seth look back at the 12-6 win and then look ahead to the huge Week 16 matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football. 

Is a win even possible for Arizona with Ryan Lindley? Is this amazing year wasted because of the injuries the team has suffered? What about the postseason? Will they be ine and done?

The Arizona Cardinals saw their season come to an end with a 27-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs. The preseason begins for the Arizona Cardinals on Saturday, August 15. They will open at home against the Kansas City Chiefs, a team Arizona defeated a season ago. But being the preseason, nothing is at stake except for jobs for the players on the respective rosters.

The Arizona Cardinals lost their second straight preseason game, falling at home to the San Diego Chargers on a last second field goal 22-19. The result isn't all that important, as it is still just the preseason. But hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox find plenty to talk about, as they go over the positives from the game and the issue that came up.

The Arizona Cardinals and Oakland Raiders will face off in preseason game 3 on Sunday night. It is said these are the preseason games closest to real regular season football. Whether it is or not, with the help of Levi Damien, lead writer and editor for SB Nation's Silver and Black Pride, we get to know the Oakland Raiders as they enter the 2015 season. He gives us the rundown about Jack Del Rio and the new coaching staff, including the very intense defensive coordinator Ken Norton. Two big things happened. One is the Arizona Cardinals got a win in the preseason, defeating the Oakland Raiders 30-23 on a last minute touchdown. The other was the first round of NFL roster cuts. With the roster now down to 75 players and the Cardinals playing their preseason finale on Thursday, hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox discussed some of the ramifications.

We are finally here. It is Week 1 of the 2015 NFL season. The Arizona Cardinals made their final roster moves. They inexplicably traded for quarterback Matt Barkley, made their final cuts to get to 53 players, formed their 10-man practice squad and have a new depth chart. That's a lot to go though. 

Hosts Jess Root and Seth Cox go through each. They give their thoughts on the trade for Barkley and question giving up on Logan Thomas so early, especially since he was seen as a project and he did seem to show progress and improvement. 

They play a little GM and explaoin what they would have done differently with the final 53-man roster. Then they talk about the practice squad, waivers and the first depth chart.

The Arizona Cardinals are now 2-0 after having demolished the Chicago Bears 48-23 on Sunday at Soldier Field. What was the good and what was the not so good? Well, there obviously wasn't that much to complain about, as the Cardinals rolled to a 25-point win, but thereare some things to wonder about. Chris Johnson had a steady 72 yards and it was exactly the type of performance the Cardinals needed. Combined with David Johnson, this duo looks like a better version of Rashard Mendenhall and Andre Ellington, only this time we should be fine with the limited touches for Johnson. 

Seth points out Michael Floyd showed some bad body language when he wasn't getting the ball thrown his way. 

What about Bobby Massie? The tackle was reinstated and the team kept all their linemen, choosing instead to cut Kerwynn Williams.

The Arizona Cardinals hit the road this weekend to take on the winless Detroit Lions in Detroit. While the numbers say the Lions are a terrible team, the talk coming from the Cardinals facility is they are not taking this game for granted. The skill players Detroit has are among the best and their defense is stout. They even almost got a win in Seattle on Monday, where it is seemingly impossible to win. 

To preview the game and give Cardinals fans some insight about the Lions, Pride of Detroit's Jeremy Reisman joined host Jess Root on the show to talk about the team he covers -- the losses and the additions, the injuries and the horrid offensive line play which seems to be the root of all the team's struggles. 

The Arizona Cardinals had another impressive victory on Sunday, defeating the Detroit Lions 42-17, forcing five turnovers and rushing for over 180 yards. Carson Palmer only had to throw 14 passes and three of his 11 completions went for touchdowns.
