Soaring inflation has been a challenge for everyone in 2022 and restaurateurs are no exception.  One saving grace has been restaurant loyalty program members. They have responded immensely by supporting their favorite brands.  As prices have gone up, many loyalty program customers have been increasing their spend, with 55% of restaurants reporting that their check sizes have increased more than the price of their items, however, it’s not all rainbows and lollipops. 

There appears to be a point at which loyalty customers will no longer tolerate price increases.   According to a report released earlier this month, once prices increase more than 10%, check sizes drop drastically--showing that even the most loyal customers have their limits.
