Mandala of the Five Dakini’s Meditation Full Practice This is a recording of a complete 5 Dakini Meditation Practice Session at the end of a 6 week study (recorded by Melissa Abbott during a zoom call at my friend Jo Haight Sarling’s home in Cocoa Beach, FL.), from a book study and meditation practice group studying the book “ Wisdom Rising” The Mandala of the Empowered Feminine, by Lama Tsultrim Allione. In the first 5 weeks we have studied the individual practices, attributes and states of each of the 5 Dakini’s. Sounding their Seed Syllables and embodying their attributes in meditation as a way of transformation burning through encumbered states of being, resulting in a more expanded unencumbered wisdom consciousness of each Dakini, week by week. This is a Tibetan Buddhist Tantric Practice brought from India to Tibet about 800ad by Guru Rinpoche or Padma Sambhava. the Mandala as a cosmological system, and through the Mandala we experience the encumbered and transformed unencumbered states of the Dakinis (which are aspects of the sacred feminine). The Mandala being the one ground and the practice is an uncovering of our own enlightened awareness and transformation into enlightened presence. Its been a beautiful journey learning the 5 Dakini Practices with all of the participants around the world including UK, Switzerland, and Argentina. Thank you for your involvements, synergy, focus, love, and interest. Special Thanks to Jo Haight Surling for having the practice at her home in Cocoa Beach and helping me coordinate the process. There really is something special about practicing in a group. The Five Dakini’s practices work with transforming encumbered energies ( Samskaras) such as procrastination, neediness, envy, jealousy, anger, fear etc into “The Wisdom Energies of the Dakinis evolved/transformed/manifersted to an unencumbered view”. The mandala/circle, elemental energies, directional energies, visualization, seed syllables, Uccara, etc are used in the Dakini practices. Ultimately, the absolute level is beyond gender, how on a relative level men and women get to the ultimate level may be very different paths. Women have long thought they have to act like men to attain anything in this world. The cultural messages truly effect and disempower women on so many levels. The Dakini is a messenger of spasciousness, a force of truth, a transitional primal power, a fierce compassion for change and upliftment. I believe the recognition of feminine empowerment holds a key to cultural evolution and that awareness of practices line the Five Dakini’s . I highly recommend you get the book and read it, until you get the book, tho, it is all right to come and practice and get a taste of it and see if it is for you. This Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique to Process those things keeping you from being in the Flow of the Universe A powerful foundational Tantric Yoga Meditation Practice taken from the illuminated 1000+ year old spiritual masterpiece, "The Pratyabhijna-Hrdraya" also known as The Recognition Sutras. In the Recognition Sutras or The Heart of Recognition, the author, Rajanaka Ksemaraja, gives us useful and practical ways to embrace the whole of our experience of the expanded center, so we can release and surrender our identification with our psychological self, our unresolved past, stories we tell ourselves, mental constructs, and samskaras. Those things that get us triggered and stuck with revolving mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual patterns. In essence this we can move on from our conditioning and touch more deeply within ourselves. This meditation became alive for me a couple of years ago when I took a Recognition Sutras course with Christopher Hareesh Wallis. I had actually been interested and studied this text on and off since 1991. It wasn't until his translation of the actual practices in Chapter 18 that this text spoke so clearly to my actual meditation practice. I started implementing the expanded central channel into my daily meditation sessions and the result has been stunning clarity to embrace the whole of reality. I first received this practice in July 2019 with Christopher Hareesh Wallis at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies during retreat. This is my interpretation of his teachings via Ksemaraja of 1000 years ago. I hope you will experience that the radical acceptance to the nature of reality means surrender to what wants to move though you. This practice has the ability to help you relax out of identification with your stories and patterns and stop clinging to aversions and self images. White Soothing Tara Sadhana Practice White Soothing Tara is the 2nd Emanation in the Empowered Feminine 21 Tara Mandala Practices of Vrajayana Buddhism White Soothing Tara is one of the 21 Taras and known as the second emanation of Tara, or female emanations of enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhism. Her name Drolma Loter Yangchenma represents her innate capacity for giving knowledge through song, melody, or words. In sanskrit she is known as Saraswati and Vrajasaraswati. In addition the white color of Great White Soothing Tara has the power to calm profound disturbances such as illnesses and negative imprints. These are long-standing or deeply ingrained patterns that can be difficult to overcome and she employs her pacifying and soothings effects on these circumstances. Tara's peaceful expression reflects her ability to dissipate negativity and penetrate the innermost parts of the heart. Recorded in Gloucester, MA in my home studio on Jan 26, 2023 this recording is an explanation of her practice, the inner meanings of her visualization, offerings, praise/invocations, prayers, mantras, meditation and dedications. Beltane is a Celtic festival that marks the beginning of the warmer season, typically celebrated on May 1st. The origins of Beltane can be traced back to ancient Gaelic traditions and is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals, along with Imbolc, Lughnasadh, and Samhain. Beltane is a fire festival that celebrates fertility, growth, and the blossoming of the earth. In this session, we will practice working with Verse 30 from the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra, a 1000+ year old collection of Meditation Techniques from the Trika Lineage of Kashmir Shaivism. In this lineage there are 12 Main Chakras or energy centers in the body along the central energy channel known as the Sushumna Nadi, running thru the middle of the body from the perineum to above the crown of the head. We will Intone and use the 12 Sanskrit Vowels sequentially starting at the Base Chakra at the perineum and successively moving our imagination and visualization thru each energy center in this Guided Meditation. I am using Christopher Hareesh Wallis's translation of Verse 30 from the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra for this practice. He is the author of "Tantra Illumination" and "The Recognition Sutras" and an internationally known Sanskrit authority of Tantric Meditation Practices as well as a Practioner Teacher. It is said that anyone of the meditation practices of the Vijnana Bhairava Tantra can be a transformative and enlightening practice. This particular practice assumes you have a certain focus and experience to really integrate its powerful energetic experience. You may have to work with it over time to develop the meditation chops to be comfortable with it. As the days grow shorter and the nights lengthen, it is essential to remind ourselves to pause and embrace the quiet presence of the winter solstice. This season offers us a precious opportunity for reflection, rejuvenation, restoration, peace, and harmony. Through the practice of Yoga Nidra, we can tap into our inner and outer connection to light, elevating our alignment and basking in the radiance of our own beautiful inner light – the Inner Radiant Presence.

During this time, the hours of daylight and darkness are nearly equal all around the world. It is a moment of balance and harmony, symbolizing the transition from the warmth and abundance of summer to the introspection and letting go of the approaching winter. The fall equinox invites us to reflect on the changes happening within and around us, to release what no longer serves us, and to find balance in our lives. It is a time to embrace gratitude for the blessings in our lives and to set intentions for the season ahead. Yogically, we want to address our processes as we transition from season to season, bringing balance and harmony into our lives finding that source and point of equanimity within ourselves. Season changes including the increase/decrease in the amount of light are a signal to animals, plants, and people, of changing seasons. Today we will be practicing a short seated Energy Circuit Meditation technique. Designed to be balancing and nourishing, activating your subtle prana shakti energy body. Especially good for headaches, sleeplessness, restlessness, anxiety or whenever you need to balance your energy during the day. This meditation opens specific channels in your subtle body to direct your unfocused energy into a relaxed, uplifted, nurtured, and steadied energy body, helping you to repair your cells and restructure your Mind, Body, Spirit Balance within. Find a quiet seated position in a place you will not be disturbed for 10-12 minutes. You can sit on the floor or a chair, you could even do this in your parked car between appointments if needed. Use your headphones and work to relax as much as possible as you use this Tantric Yoga Visualization Technique to revitalize yourself. In this meditation we have added optional mantra and uddiya bandha techniques to the practice to further the entrainment of the process during meditation. Expanded Golden Pillar Meditation Dissolving Your Triggers A powerful foundational Tantric Yoga Meditation Practice taken from the illuminated 1000+ year old spiritual masterpiece, "The Pratyabhijna-Hrdraya" also known as The Recognition Sutras. In the Recognition Sutras or The Heart of Recognition, the author, Rajanaka Ksemaraja, gives us useful and practical ways to embrace the whole of our experience of the expanded center, so we can release and surrender our identification with our psychological self, our unresolved past, stories we tell ourselves, mental constructs, and samskaras. Those things that get us triggered and stuck with revolving mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual patterns. In essence this we can move on from our conditioning and touch more deeply within ourselves. This meditation became alive for me a couple of years ago when I took a Recognition Sutras course with Christopher Hareesh Wallis. I had actually been interested and studied this text on and off since 1991. It wasn't until his translation of the actual practices in Chapter 18 that this text spoke so clearly to my actual meditation practice. I started implementing them into my daily meditation sessions and the result has been stunning clarity to embrace the whole of reality. Recently, While on retreating July 2019 with Christopher Hareesh Wallis at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies, we worked with this Meditation practice. This is my interpretation of his teachings via Ksemaraja of 1000 years ago. I hope you will experience that the radical acceptance to the nature of reality means surrender to what wants to move though you. Yoga Nidra is particularly effective after a Hatha Yoga Class, although it can be done at any time of day or night. Settling the Prana Shakti in Your Body Meditation is a way to Surrender in the Experience of Now. This is a foundational Tantric Yoga Meditation Practice to get you ready for deeper states of Meditation. It is very important to be able to settle your life force energy in your body to further your practices and exploration of Tantric Yoga Meditation. This Meditation was recently taught by Christopher Wallis at a recent Shaiva Tantra for Daily Life Retreat at Omega Institute for Holistic Studies during July of 2019. He urged his students there to practice this form of meditation as a basic practice at that time. This is my interpretation of his teaching. In the early 1990's, I saw a book in a bookstore called "The Doctrine of Vibration: An Analysis of the Doctrines and Practices associated with Kashmir Shaivism (SUNY series in the Shaiva Traditions of Kashmir)" by Mark Dyczkowski. I had been at one time fascinated by the song "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys and I had seen the Star Wars Movie by George Lucas where the main characters all had some kind of "Force Within" some kind of Vibrational Awareness. At the time, I thought to myself, WOW, there is even an ancient doctrine of Vibration, scriptures or Tantras written over a 1000+ years ago describing the study of Vibrations. This study is a type of Inner Yoga, a Meditation Yoga. Those teachers had names like Upaldeva, Abinavagupta, and Keshmaharaj. That is when my study and fascination with all things Tantra, Shaiva Tantra or Kashmir Shaivism. I read books by Lakshman Too, Paul Mueller-Ortega, and Douglas Brooks. I was even able to take some courses with the latter two professors. The translations for many of the Tantras of interest such as the Vijnana Bhairava, The Recognition Sutras, the Spanda Karikas, Shiva Sutras, and the Tantraloka left a lot to be desired and were very poorly done. Fast forward to about 5 years ago when a teacher I knew named Christopher Hareesh Wallis a Phd Sanskrit authority and practitioner wrote a book called Tantra Illuminated and a couple years later a fantastic translation of the Recognition Sutras where he was able to translate the practices in a way that made them come very alive and vital for todays meditation practitioner. These practices are a gold mine of Inner Revelation and detail specific Meditation Practices and Strategies for NonDual Shaiva Tantra. I had taken some online courses with Christopher in the past couple of years and had been practicing many of the Tantric Yoga Meditation Sequences in the Vijnana Bhairava and Recognition Sutras with a lot of success. Absolutely beautiful practices that are just not very well known yet. Being a Hatha Yoga Teacher, I am thrilled to practice the inner postures as a way to take yoga beyond the Mat. This is why I am doing this podcast, to preserve, detail, and practice some of the Tantric Yoga Meditation practices I have learned and loved. Here is a beautiful basic short Foundational Practice. Transforming the Energy of the Mind, Shakta Upaya Yoga Nidra In this Yoga Nidra Session we are practicing a technique called "Shakta Upaya", using the power of the mind to transform the mind. This 1000 year old meditation technique comes from the Shaiva Tantra tradition of Kashmir. Shakta Upaya consisted of purifying the mind to replace misaligned stories, patterns, and triggers with aligned ones. Our emotional states are often linked to subconscious thought patterns. In Sanskrit, these thought patterns are called Vikalpas. Vikalpas are the stories, patterns, and triggers we look to overcome.
