27 Mar 2025 | 122: Nick Pineault - EMFs & Your Health: What the Science is Really Saying | 01:19:22
📺 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube "The reality is that your body will accommodate for these exposures and try to find what is the best sleep I can get given these exposures. If you remove the exposures, it might find a new situation that is even more advantageous for your biology," says Nick Pineault, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to shed light on the hidden dangers of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) and their impact on our health. As an expert copywriter and research analyst, Nick exposes the shocking truth about the wireless industry's denial of EMF effects and the urgent need for change in our increasingly connected world. In this eye-opening episode, Nick reveals how the telecom industry has systematically quashed efforts to study cell phone safety, adopting a strategy of complete denial reminiscent of tobacco executives claiming nicotine isn't addictive. He discusses the monumental appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services and the potential for real change in EMF regulation. Nick also delves into the alarming connection between EMF exposure and the anxiety epidemic among teenagers, sharing startling statistics that link higher EMF exposure to cognitive decline and behavioral issues. Tune in to today's discussion to learn practical steps for reducing your EMF exposure, why AirPods pose a significant risk to brain health, and how grassroots awareness can drive the paradigm shift needed to create safer technology for future generations. 5 Key Takeaways1. Turn off Wi-Fi and phones at night to improve sleep quality. Even small changes like this can make a noticeable difference in how you feel. 2. Use wired headphones instead of wireless earbuds when possible, especially for extended listening periods. This reduces EMF exposure close to your brain. 3. Download content to devices in advance rather than streaming, particularly for long trips. This allows you to use devices in airplane mode, minimizing radiation exposure. 4. Focus on reducing EMF exposure from sources closest to your body and that you use for long periods, like phones and laptops. Distance is key - even small increases in distance can significantly reduce exposure. 5. Have open conversations with family members, especially teens, about EMF risks. Consider doing a trial period of reduced exposure to see if anyone notices improvements in sleep, headaches, or other symptoms. Memorable Quotes"We have levels right now of exposure that is a quintillion times the ancestral background levels. So that's 10 to the 18th or a billion times a billion. That's the increase of radio frequency radiation in the last hundred years." "The reality is that your body will accommodate for these exposures and try to find what is the best sleep I can get given these exposures. If you remove the exposures, it might find a new situation that is even more advantageous for your biology." "Let's not wait on one savior to fix the entire thing. We need to continue the conversation and double down on how motivated we feel to raise awareness, to protect ourselves and then to talk about it." Try biofield tuning to release emotional blockages and tension patterns in your body's energy field. This can help improve physical and mental health issues. 2. Use a 174 Hz tuning fork to explore your own biofield. Move it slowly around your body, feeling for areas of resistance or changes in vibration. 3. Listen to Eileen McKusick's mass reduction biofield tuning recording daily for a week. Track your weight before and after to see if you experience any changes. 4. Approach healing as a lifestyle rather than a quick fix. Be patient with the process of expanding and contracting as you work through layers of tension and trauma. 5. Speak confidently about energy healing and other "esoteric" topics. The science supports many of these concepts, so don't shrink from sharing your knowledge and experiences. Memorable Quotes"We are antennas. We are broadcasting on specific frequency bands, and we pick up the frequency transmissions through the ether of each other. We are all like Google Docs on the World Wide Web, and I can go in and pluck out your document." "I've come to the conclusion that anything that goes wrong with you is tension based. Even heavy metal poisoning - we're all exposed to heavy metals. Why do some people end up with toxicity and others don't? I found there was a particular personality type more prone to this - people who suppressed their anger." "There is a sound for that shame of being at your desk because the teacher wouldn't let you go to the bathroom. It blows people away. They're like, 'You're a witch, you're psychic.' I'm like, no, this is pattern recognition. This is a specific sound in a specific area of your field. This is science." With over 30 years of experience in developing healthy light products, Ceder explains how our modern indoor lifestyles have disconnected us from the vital benefits of natural sunlight, leading to a host of health issues. In this eye-opening episode, Ceder reveals the surprising truth about common lighting options and their potential harm to our eyes and overall well-being. He discusses the groundbreaking work of John Ott, a pioneer in photobiology, and how it led to the development of full-spectrum lighting. Ceder also introduces the concept of "nutritional light technology" and explains why near-infrared light is crucial for cellular health and countering the negative effects of blue light from screens. Tune in to discover why morning sunlight is essential for setting your circadian rhythm, how proper lighting can impact everything from mood to metabolism, and why investing in quality light might be more important for your health than your vitamin regimen. Learn about the innovative Soul Shine light products and how they aim to bring the benefits of natural sunlight indoors, potentially transforming your health and well-being. 5 Key Takeaways1. Get morning sunlight daily. Spend 10-15 minutes outside in natural light first thing in the morning to set your circadian rhythm and boost metabolism. This simple habit can transform your health. 2. Be mindful of artificial lighting. Most indoor lighting, especially fluorescent and LED bulbs, lacks the full spectrum of natural light and may have harmful effects. Consider using full spectrum bulbs with near-infrared light. 3. Take frequent light breaks. If working indoors, step outside or by a window for 5 minutes each hour to give your eyes and body exposure to natural light. This can counteract the negative effects of artificial lighting. 4. Use caution with SAD light boxes. Many lack near-infrared light, which is crucial for eye health. Research products carefully and look for options that include near-infrared wavelengths. 5. View light as nutrition. Just as you're mindful of food quality, pay attention to your "light diet." Quality light is essential for properly metabolizing nutrients and vitamins from food. Memorable Quotes"Light regulates everything. Your time clock is set by that light regulating your circadian rhythms. You have basically little time clocks in almost every cell of your body. If you're out of rhythm, you can relate to what jet lag is. Well, most people are wandering around unwittingly on some form of jet lag and don't have a clue. It's because they're out of rhythm with nature." "If you were standing naked in the noon day sun, 98% of the sunlight's energy enters through your eye, goes directly to your brain, and regulates everything from circadian rhythm to mood to sleep to appetite. Just 2% enters your body through your skin, the largest organ of your body." "Metabolism is 100% dependent on light. Light in the morning ignites your metabolism. It's free, it's right there in front of your face. It comes up every single morning from the beginningless beginning. That sunshine shows up even on a cloudy day, it's worth getting outdoors." 30 Jan 2025 | 114: Dr. Damien Downing - Daylight Robbery: Lessons From Three Decades As A Circadian Practitioner | 01:09:05
📺 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube "The electron transport chain, you know, the cytochromes in the mitochondrial wall, is less than perfect. So every, you know, few thousand times, whatever, it drops a free radical there instead of using it constructively," explains Dr. Damien Downing, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to illuminate the intricate dance between light, water, and our cellular health. As president of the British Society for Ecological Medicine and a pioneer in understanding the health impacts of our light environment, Dr. Downing shares insights from his decades-long career that challenge conventional wisdom about sunlight exposure and reveal the profound connections between our bodies and the fundamental forces of the universe. In this captivating discussion, Dr. Downing delves into the concept of structured water and its crucial role in cellular function, explaining how different wavelengths of light interact with our bodies at the molecular level. He unveils the surprising links between sunlight exposure and cancer rates, and discusses how modern lifestyles have disrupted our natural circadian rhythms, leading to a host of health issues. From the glymphatic system's role in brain health to the potential of zeta potential in improving hydration, Dr. Downing offers a fresh perspective on how we can harness the power of light and water to optimize our health. Tune in to today's episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discover why Dr. Downing believes we're "in touch with the fundamentals of the universe" and learn practical steps to align yourself with nature's rhythms for better health and wellbeing. Key Takeaways1. Prioritize getting natural sunlight exposure, especially in the morning. Try to spend at least 5 minutes outside looking up at the blue sky within the first hour of waking. This helps regulate your circadian rhythm and boosts melatonin production. 2. Be mindful of artificial light exposure, particularly in the evening. Avoid bright overhead LEDs and screen use before bed. Consider using blue light blocking glasses and dimmer, warmer lighting at night to support healthy melatonin production. 3. Stay well-hydrated with pure, filtered water. Add electrolytes to enhance the water's zeta potential, which helps keep red blood cells from clumping. This improves oxygen and nutrient delivery throughout the body. 4. Incorporate both infrared and UV light exposure into your routine. Infrared light helps build structured water in the body, while UV light enhances the depth of charge. Consider using an infrared sauna or spending time outdoors with some skin exposed. 5. Recognize that every step towards improving your light environment is beneficial. You don't need to achieve perfection - small changes like swapping out light bulbs or adding screen filters can make a difference. Focus on progress, not perfection. Memorable Quotes"The plot of many a thriller has hinged on the fact that the best place to hide something is where it is obvious. I think that applies to the sunlight thing. We never realized that we were systematically depriving ourselves of it." "Structured water happens naturally just because it's in contact with a surface. All light encourages it to build up more layers, but infrared is best at doing it. The ultraviolet helps build up the depth of charge next to the cell, which keeps everything moving and flowing." "We're in touch with the fundamentals of the universe. It's in the nature of things. All of this stuff is how the universe works - if we let it. We seem to do our best to prevent it." Discover how this unconventional approach to health could be the missing link in your journey to optimal wellbeing and self-realization. Key Takeaways1. Talk to your body: Communicate with your cells and bacteria, either out loud or through writing. Your body is listening and responding to your thoughts and words. 2. Release emotional baggage: Unresolved emotions can manifest as physical issues in the body. Work on consciously releasing trapped emotions to improve overall health. 3. Follow your true desires: Connect with your authentic, divinely-inspired desires. Moving towards these can naturally eliminate what no longer serves you. 4. Embrace change: Be open to releasing old patterns, relationships, and beliefs that are holding you back. Though uncomfortable at first, this allows for personal growth. 5. Stay hydrated: Proper hydration is crucial for physical and emotional wellbeing. Water helps cleanse the body, supports cellular communication, and can provide a sense of internal "hugging" and security. Memorable Quotes"We all have a vibration. We all have a frequency. We all have music inside of our body. And so we have a tendency to communicate with the environment based on that frequency, based on that song that we carry." "The colon is not this dirty, ugly organ that we should not talk about. So much healing can take place in that organ. We now know the greatest concentration of bacteria is sitting right inside of the colon, which turns it into this major immune buster." "When you do this work and get conscious around it, you start breaking cords. Because we do know we're all connected. Everything is connected. But some of the things we're connected to, we should not stay connected because it's a weight and it's changing our vibration." 06 Feb 2025 | 115: Carrie Bennett - The Quantum Biologic View of Cancer | 01:13:19
📺 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube "A fever is a good thing because a fever is missing infrared," says Carrie Bennett, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to unveil the hidden power of light in our cellular health. Bennett explains how our bodies are not just biochemical machines, but intricate systems of structured water and mitochondrial function, deeply influenced by our light environment. She reveals why getting sick might actually be an opportunity for healing and how modern living has systematically divorced us from the natural rhythms essential for optimal health. In this eye-opening discussion, Carrie delves into the fascinating world of exclusion zone water, melatonin production, and the critical role of infrared light in maintaining cellular charge. She challenges conventional wisdom about toxins, explaining why even small exposures to substances like glyphosate and fluoride can have profound effects on our health when combined with other environmental factors. Tune in to today's episode to discover how simple changes in your light exposure could revolutionize your health, why cancer cells might be suffering from a lack of charge, and how embracing natural light cycles could be the key to unlocking your body's innate healing potential. Key Takeaways1. Prioritize light exposure: Get morning sunlight and limit artificial light at night to support healthy mitochondrial function and melatonin production. This helps maintain proper cellular charge and exclusion zone water. 2. Incorporate infrared exposure: Use saunas or red light therapy to build exclusion zone water, support mitochondrial health, and boost cellular energy production. This can enhance overall resilience and healing. 3. Optimize sleep environment: Create a completely dark sleeping space using blackout curtains and avoid blue light before bed to maximize nighttime melatonin production and cellular repair processes. 4. Reduce EMF exposure: Keep wireless devices away from your body, consider hardwiring your workstation, and position your bed away from WiFi routers to minimize mitochondrial stress from non-native electromagnetic fields. 5. View illness differently: Recognize that symptoms like fever and mucus production can be beneficial, allowing the body to clear toxins and reestablish healthy cellular function. Support rather than suppress these processes when possible. Memorable Quotes"When you get a fever or when you develop mucus, it's an opportunity for your body to get stuff out that doesn't serve it. It is an opportunity. The question becomes, how can we help the body resolve that beneficial inflammatory cascade?" "Our cells have this innate intelligence. If something's invading the cells and causing dysfunction, the body says this is not going to serve me long term. There's things we can do to push stuff out of the cell. Through our lens, we talk about building exclusion zone water." "The foundation is light. When the light environment's in place, the mitochondria are healthier. When the mitochondria are healthier, the charge inside the cell is healthier. When that's healthier, the cell has the energy it needs to run all its processes." 06 Mar 2025 | 119: Willie Duggan - A Lighting Design Expert Turned Circadian Rhythm Advocate & The Future of the Industry | 01:03:24
📺 Watch & Subscribe on YouTube "We need to see all that in the health bubble," says Willie Duggan, third-generation lighting designer, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to illuminate the critical intersection between lighting design and human health. Duggan explains why the lighting industry's obsession with efficiency metrics has led to environments that disrupt our circadian rhythms and potentially harm our health. He shares insights from his own journey of recovery from a stroke at age 33, which sparked a passion for understanding the profound impact of our lit environments on our biology. Today, Willie reveals how he's revolutionizing residential lighting design by incorporating circadian considerations, infrared light, and dynamic color temperature control. He discusses the challenges of educating an industry steeped in outdated paradigms and the exciting potential for collaboration between lighting professionals and health experts. Tune in to learn how Willie is building his own home as a prototype for health-optimized lighting and why he believes we're on the cusp of a paradigm shift in how we light our living spaces. 5 Key Takeaways1. Design your home lighting with health in mind. Use dynamic white lighting that changes color temperature throughout the day, dimming and becoming warmer in the evening to support circadian rhythms. 2. Incorporate low-level lighting, like LED strips at skirting level, for evening use. This provides indirect, glare-free illumination from below rather than harsh overhead lighting. 3. Prioritize natural light by maximizing windows, especially south-facing ones. Position work areas near openable windows to get full daylight exposure when possible. 4. Be mindful of when and where you need functional task lighting versus ambient lighting. Many homes overuse bright overhead lights when softer, indirect lighting would be more appropriate and healthier. 5. Consider adding infrared light sources to your home, as this was present in incandescent bulbs but is lacking in most LED lighting. Look into emerging LED products that incorporate infrared wavelengths. Memorable Quotes"We need to see all of that in the health bubble, in terms of understanding it from a health perspective. It's products, but it's how they're combined. We can integrate different products in our spaces and create different circuits that we switch on and off at different times of the day." "I think residential homes are probably the most important because we spend our time there at crucial times of the day. It's the morning, it's the evening, it's when we're getting those important cues, sunrise and sunset." "The lighting industry and lighting research field need to be checking the papers from the health side. We need proper collaboration between design professionals approaching the same problem from different directions with different perspectives. That's where we get proper solutions." 29 Feb 2024 | EP 065: Voltage & Anxiety: Why Light Is Key To Mental Health | 00:56:34
“We are electric beings,” says Dr. Kelli Ritter, and she’s not just speaking metaphorically. Returning to The Quantum Biology Collective Podcast to discuss the link between light and anxiety, Dr. Kelli explains that the infrared light that our mitochondria make inside of us is the ultimate healer, and that light is informed by the natural light we take in. “I don’t think there’s anything more important to health.”
The structured water in our body is like a battery that is charged by natural light. When it comes to stress and anxiety, running on a consistently low voltage—as so many of us do—means that the signals and input that the brain and body pass back and forth become weak and glitchy. This lack of clear signal leads to chronic low-grade anxiety, which eventually becomes system burnout in the form of panic attack or depression.
That same low voltage means that the body is too fatigued to fight and that all the other health and healing elements which we incorporate into our practice–nutrition, exercise–don’t work as well as they should. It’s all lost energy.
Dr. Kelli, who herself has experienced the same stress and anxiety that so many of us do, tried many of those healing strategies herself and with her patients. She always knew there was something missing, but not until she limited her blue light and became more in tune with her natural environment and her circadian rhythm did she begin to see major changes. She describes a transformation that was not just mental—clarity, groundedness, resilience– but spiritual, coming into total alignment with herself, an undeniable feeling of coming home.
Now that we know that the roadmap to our mental health lay within each of us, we can begin to make these changes, too. She describes the ideal lifestyle to support being sufficiently charged, even if it means starting small. Light informs life. Light shapes life. We are light inside and out.

11 May 2023 | Ep 023: Quantum Health Informed Homes That Heal Our Bodies and Souls With Interior Designer Mahwish Syed | 00:54:51
“Of course beauty matters and aesthetics matter, but your environment affects your health,” explains Mahwish Sayed, interior designer, student of Applied Quantum Biology and cancer survivor.
In this episode Mahwish discusses how to create beautiful spaces that fulfill our need to connect to nature and natural light cycles. Mahwish talks about windows and lightbulbs - as well as the mythology and symbolism of ancient cultures and how they support our healing on a subconscious level. This is a beautiful and fun conversation that will inspire a deeper connection to our day to day surroundings. And as always, we do not advertise on this podcast so do hit the 5 star review button and help us to continue our organic growth and to stay in touch click the link in the show notes for our monthly newsletter. Mahwish shares that her cancer journey opened up doors for her to view her environment through an epigenetic lens. As an interior designer, she was already familiar with the ways the environment can impact one’s emotions and health. She began to see that the modern environment most people live within is built in a way that prioritizes things like energy-saving and aesthetics over harmony with the body. Even the way windows are made is done in a way that reduces the spectrum of light that can get through to your skin and eyes. The LED lights that are so commonly used to save energy are known to be quite harmful to the body, causing complications like epileptic seizures. To create a truly beautiful environment, it is important to look not only at beauty and aesthetics but also at the way the environment impacts your health. When your environment is well balanced and in alignment with your body, then that makes for a truly beautiful experience. Quotes

21 Mar 2024 | EP 068: How Light And Movement Shape Our Brains | 01:23:49
“If you address the inputs, the outputs address themselves,” says Dr. Amanda Steencken, who joins The Quantum Biology Podcast to discuss her work with primitive reflex integration work. Primitive reflexes, she explains, are the body’s involuntary movements, which occur down to the subatomic level, in response to stimuli that promote brain development and keep us safe in the world.
When this connection is never stimulated, or gets turned off for myriad reasons, the results are anything from fallen arches in the foot, to chronic pain, to anxiety and learning disabilities. The particular form of rhythmic movement training that Amanda practices imitates and recapitulates the movements done during development in utero, thus stimulating the brain connection.
After getting her PhD in neuroscience and later studying naturopathy, Dr. Amanda discovered primitive reflex integration work, while looking for treatment for her own family The changes she has seen and experienced from it, combined with light optimization and balanced circadian rhythm, have been so remarkable as to lead her to place movement above nutrition and even oxygen in terms of vitality and importance to healing and optimal health.
This practice is also beneficial for those stuck in fight/flight/freeze/fawn responses of their sympathetic nervous system. As rhythmic movement recreates the activity of our safest environment, it also shines a light on the importance of moving past fear to move toward healing.
Join today’s podcast to learn how less is more, why healing is never pretty, but the smallest adjustments can yield the biggest results.

05 Dec 2024 | EP 106: Your Body Has The Answers: Learning To Listen To The Language of The Nervous System | 01:51:31
“They’re chasing the tail of self-development but they don’t realize that it’s survival stress and stored trauma that they’re managing all the time,” says Irene Lyon, pioneer in somatic and nervous system work, about the many “functionally frozen” people who attempt to engage in healing modalities while ignoring the foundational issue. On today’s episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast, Irene explains that when we experience trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACE), and fail to release them physically—the way all other animals do in nature—they remain trapped in our autonomic nervous system. This is the basis of a myriad of chronic diseases, biomechanical issues, and dysfunctional behaviors. Until these baseline issues are addressed, healing modalities—namely meditation—remain ineffective and can actually cause far worse problems by bringing trauma to the surface and evoking the body’s original panic response.
By following our impulses, practicing self-regulation and living in closer alignment with nature, we can not only heal our trauma and open untold vistas of potential, but, being quantum beings, change the course of others, including those in the future and past generations. Irene’s clients have even reported it’s made parenting easy. She’ll discuss how to retrain yourself to best respond when you experience physical pain—including in public—and what to think about before embracing popular techniques such as breath work and cold plunging.
There’s nothing “wrong” with us, we just have stored traumatic memories in our nervous system that wants to move out. Learn more about Irene’s 21-Day Tuneup to learn how you can start to approach the process of somatic healing and nervous system regulation.

13 Apr 2023 | Ep 019: Everything Is About Light and Energy with Dr. Corey Ghazvini | 01:11:55
In this episode Dr. Corey Ghazvini invites us to share his journey from a vegan night owl musician to a sunrise every day quantum clinician and educator. Dr. Ghazvini is board certified in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Biomedicine and is an expert in the science of light, water, magnetism and mitochondria. In true quantum fashion we begin by discussing the family dynamics and trauma that led him to his awareness of a deeper energy and ultimately guided him to become devoted to health and healing at the quantum level. Dr. Ghazvini shares deeply and generously about his experience, and takes us for a ride on his cosmic journey.
“The energy that we gather from the environment is exactly what we are. And as we become obsessed with societal and superficial ideas in education, we separate ourselves from this infinite amount of energy that we're capable of accessing,” explains Dr. Ghazvini. Chinese medicine understands that humans are a part of nature and that to be healthy, our bodies must be in balance with the environment. 95% of all disease is rooted in stress and a large portion of that stress can be directly linked to the artificial light and information that is all around us. By simply being in nature doing things like watching the sunrise and feeling the ground with our bare feet, it is possible to re-establish the connection between our bodies and the limitless energy of our environment.
The sun is the master conductor of all of nature, providing energy for biological processes. The typical Western lifestyle of massive reliance on technology and artificial light sources causes our mitochondria to function less efficiently, which in turn creates stress on the body that can quickly turn into disease.

22 Feb 2024 | EP 064: The Incredible Quantum Story Of Our Eyes And Mouth | 01:04:32
How often does your dentist ask you how much blue light you consume each day, about your sleeping patterns, or even how long you were breastfed or if you fell on your tailbone when you were a child? These are just a few of the questions that Dr. Jalal Khan asks his patients during assessment, in his efforts to take dentistry well past “filling and drilling” to act as gateway to major healing in all areas of the body.
A holistic dentist who regards himself more as an osteopath, Dr. Khan has absorbed the teachings of Dr. Jack Kruse and the late Sydney-based dentist Dr. Tony Ancell. Essentially, quantum dentistry dictates that changes in the mouth can have nonlinear effects throughout the body because the position of the teeth affects the arrangement of the cranial bones, which affect our overall structural alignment.
And the mechanical element is only part of the story. Dr. Khan explains that within our retinae which contain the colors green, blue and red, we each are dominant in one, and secondary and tertiary in the other two, respectively. This color dominance helps determine our best diet and exercise practices and even personality traits, further helping to create nuanced, individualized healing and care versus a one-size-fits-all approach.
Dr. Khan discusses the device he has helped to develop which, specified according to each individual mouth, activates specific teeth which then activate the bones in the head which releases the cerebral spinal fluid that he believes is the source of all healing. He describes clients he’s treated, alongside his colleague, a manual therapist, who have reported remarkable results for issues from depression to infertility.
With his practice Dr. Khan is helping to drag dentistry out of “the Dark Ages.” Join this episode of The Quantum Biology Collective to learn how he plans to raise a generation of “quantum kids,” and why the circadian rhythms are the bedrock of all chronic disease in modern society–at least at the biophysical level.

14 Mar 2024 | EP 067: Light Optimization As A Lifestyle | 00:50:49
“You’re just going to have to live with it.” This is the response, says today’s guest Thomas Van Doorn, medical professionals give to the nearly 11 million citizens suffering from chronic disease in his native Netherlands. This was the advice given to Thomas’s disabled sister, before he began to incorporate elements of quantum biology into her treatment. Thankfully, she began enjoying remarkable results.
While a tennis player at the national level, Thomas was looking to develop a protocol that would prevent injury and enhance performance, and the usual course of supplements, diet and physical therapy weren’t working. He began devouring the works of Dr. Jack Kruse and became convinced that, as photoelectric beings, like everything else in nature, our healing starts at the atomic level.
Soon, he formed a clinic with like minded individuals from Dr. Kruse’s community. There, clients are guided through a 6-week light-optimization sequence, the foundation of which is regulating the circadian rhythm. Instead of medication or supplements, the clinic practices root cause medicine, and the results have been remarkable.
Thomas and host Meredith Oke both agree that you don’t have to be a scientist to begin to master quantum biology concepts. Join this episode of The Quantum Biology Podcast as he compares modern medicine to auto repair and why he isn’t ready to let Andrew Huberman off the hook.

23 Mar 2023 | Ep 016: Dr. Catherine Clinton on Light, Mitochondria & How Connecting To Nature Improves Mental Health | 00:42:24
“We don't stop at the barriers of our skin. We are intimately connected to the terrain within us, the microbiome, but that terrain expands throughout the universe,” explains Dr. Catherine Clinton, licensed naturopathic physician and quantum biology educator. Dr. Clinton was diagnosed with a slew of health issues from ulcerative colitis to Lyme disease all while in her second year of medical school. This led her to learning more about the connection between light and mitochondrial health. Today, she shares how connecting with nature can be used to improve mental health.
The whole body is a messaging system. Chronic diseases and sickness occur when there are blockages within the body’s communication system. These blockages are often a symptom of the modern lifestyle and come from sources like artificial light, processed food, and chronic stress. When the body can’t communicate effectively within itself, the immune system becomes deregulated. It’s important to #tendyourterrain, or your microbiome because your body is connected with everything in the universe through #quantumbiology. When your internal and external terrain are out of sync, your physical and mental health suffer. Connecting with nature is a great way to regulate your body and improve your mitochondrial health.
The negative health impacts of chronic stress and the modern lifestyle can last indefinitely if they are not addressed. Going barefoot in the grass, getting morning sunlight, and eating clean, unprocessed foods are relatively simple changes that can help restore the connections within your body’s messaging system.

13 Jul 2023 | Ep 032: Dr. Max Gulhane on Why Light Is The Key To Regenerative Health | 00:52:30
“Getting your feet on the bare earth and watching the morning sunrise is the cheapest health intervention in maybe the history of the world,” explains Dr. Max Gulhane, MD. As a family physician and host of the Regenerative Health Podcast, Dr. Gulhane is teaching people all over the world about the importance of a healthy circadian rhythm. His own experiences with trying to heal from terrible acne in his 20s led Dr. Gulhane to recognize the critical blind spots of traditional Western medicine. The strong pharmaceuticals he was prescribed left him with undesirable psychological side effects and the widely recommended plant-based diet only made his condition worse. When he discovered the low carb lifestyle and carnivore diet, his health improved dramatically, but there was one component still missing - light. In this episode, Dr. Gulhane explains how natural health interventions like regulating circadian rhythm are the key to regenerative health. Without a biologically attuned light environment, your body does not have the opportunity to regenerate its health. This is because without the cues from the absence or presence of sunlight, the brain is unable to send the correct signals to your body that let it know when it is time to wake up, sleep, and eat. Nowadays, people typically live in homes overrun by artificial light sources and EMF waves from WiFi. These conditions are not biologically appropriate for health as the human body has evolved over thousands of years to work in alignment with the sun. When you surround yourself with artificial light and miss out on watching the sunrise and sunset, your body misses critical cues which leads to circadian dysfunction like the inability to create enough melatonin. Without melatonin, you may suffer from insomnia, making it more difficult for your body to recover. Sleep provides a much needed opportunity for health regeneration. When sleep is interrupted by a toxic light environment, people begin to experience more serious health issues. If you are looking to heal your body holistically and have only focused on diet, start looking at your light environment and lifestyle to see where you can make circadian improvements. Quotes

30 Mar 2023 | Ep 017: Carrie Bennett’s Journey from Biology Major to Quantum Health Educator | 00:44:16
“Connective tissue literally goes everywhere, it connects everything, and it's surrounded by water. And it's surrounded by a very specific type of water called exclusion zone water that I think gives the whole body the ability to create this communication network, this coherent network that then can interact with the light outside, the light inside, electricity,” explains Carrie Bennett, MS ACN.
Carrie started off her college career as a biology major and student athlete. By senior year, her body was incredibly run down, constantly in pain, and not functioning the way it should have been for her age. Later on when she had her first child, Carrie’s health tanked and she knew it was time for answers. This led her back to school for a Masters degree in hopes of fixing her own medical issues. Through learning more about quantum biology, Carrie realized that she was extremely blue light toxic and that this toxicity was causing her and her baby’s insomnia. Today, she shares her journey from biology major to quantum health educator and nutritionist.
Carrie explains that in addition to the importance of light for mitochondrial health, several other factors were completely glossed over during her biology education; namely, biological or structured water and fascia. Fascia, also known as collagen or connective tissue, connects to every cell in the body down to the DNA level. It is surrounded by structured water and uses that to communicate with the body and the external environment. Hydration is incredibly important, because when you hydrate properly, you are improving the connectivity of the whole network. The fascia funnels energy or light through the structured water and this fuels all of the major biological processes in the body.
Water and light fuel the body’s communication system. When you properly hydrate your cells, they can create more structured water which allows your fascia to communicate more effectively with the light in your external environment.

01 Jun 2023 | Ep 026: The Quantum Chiropractor: Dr. Lauren Dodds On How Cellular Hydration Benefits Our Bodies & Minds | 01:00:17
“It's not just drinking water. It’s making sure that your mitochondria can generate that structured water, that exclusion zone water, that is really what is hydrating you,” explains Dr. Lauren Dodds, quantum chiropractor and founder of South Alabama Quantum Health where she combines her work in upper cervical chiropractic care, craniosacral therapy, and the Arvigo techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy with her deep understanding of quantum health. In this episode, Dr. Lauren discusses cellular hydration and why it is so important both to the structural integrity of the body as well as to one’s mental and emotional states. Cellular hydration refers to your mitochondria being able to generate enough structured or exclusion zone water for all of the body’s processes. In this case, cellular dehydration occurs anytime there is a dysfunction within the fascia or in the quality or quantity of available structured water. When your body doesn’t have enough structured water, the flow of electrons in your body will be disrupted. This can lead to an array of symptoms from brain fog and fatigue to gastrointestinal problems and muscle pain. In order to keep your mitochondria hydrated, it is critical to fix any dysfunction in your circadian rhythm by getting enough sunlight, observing the sunrise and sunset, and avoiding artificial light at night. You can also help your body out by improving the quality of your drinking water through filtering out toxins like fluoride and adding minerals like electrolytes. Drinking water is not enough to ensure healthy levels of cellular hydration. Your mitochondria need the infrared light from the sun and free electrons from the Earth in order to generate enough structured water to maintain good flow throughout the body. If you have been suffering from the effects of cellular dehydration, consider working to improve your circadian rhythm and being mindful about the quality of your drinking water.

18 Apr 2024 | EP 072: Coherence, Resilience And The Role of Pain In Our Lives | 01:06:53
“Pain is in the brain,” explains Stephen Hussey, doctor of chiropractic and practitioner of functional medicine who returns to the podcast to discuss the way the body interprets, processes and manages pain. In addition to the sensory components of pain, there are cognitive and emotional receptors, as well, which means physical pain is affected by mental and physical stress and vice versa. With enough trauma, the body begins to develop incoherence—which is when body systems are out of sync and unable to communicate. On this episode, Dr. Hussey discusses how we can build coherence and the connection between regulated pain signals and a properly charged system.
A large part of pain management is the attitude we take toward it. Dr. Hussey will explain why we develop chronic pain even long after our injuries have supposedly been resolved, why opioids fail us, and what’s really behind the addiction to them.
Join today’s discussion to hear more about how pain starts, how it evolves and how we can build a resilience to it.

02 Jan 2025 | EP 110: Liquid Crystal to Ether: Next Level Quantum Biology (Replay) | 01:04:13
“There’s no such thing as empty space.” Today’s episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast revisits a riveting and revelatory discussion with Carrie Bennet wherein she explains the truth of the matter, both inside and out. We are, Carrie explains, contrary to what mainstream medical research has so long led us to believe, not biochemical beings but electromagnetic and vibrational beings. In fact, we are liquid crystal, the fourth phase of water, and that water acts as a conduit for communication with the superfluid ether that exists—moves, in fact, constantly, and without resistance—all around us. Rather than a series of particles, she explains, everything is a fluid, moving wave.
This means we can interact with the ether, organize and harness it to do everything from heal ourselves to communicate with our ancestors. Carrie will discuss why so many physicists—including Einstein—believed ether didn’t exist, yet how it could help explain the existence of the pyramids. She also explains why, since we are so closely in tune with an energy field that connects us to everything in the cosmos—we must be intentional with our emotions, thoughts and feelings.
Tune in to today’s discussion to learn more about ether—the bridge between the physical and the spiritual.

07 Mar 2024 | EP 066: Light & Digestion: How Regulated Circadian Rhythms Heal The Gut | 00:51:23
“We are in a perpetual state of jet lag these days, simply because we don’t know what time of day it is.” Carrie Bennett returns to the Quantum Biology Collective Podcast to discuss the importance of regulating circadian rhythms as a means to healing the gut. Every task in the body is timed to a vibrating central oscillator which acts like an internal metronome. When these vibrations are thrown into chaos–when we don’t get enough natural light, when we are exposed to our screens first thing in the morning and well past sunset—these systems are dysregulated resulting in inflammation.
While current protocol focuses on food and supplements, food is about more than providing nutrients. It’s meant to deliver information to the gut microbiome and the mitochondria about the time of year in our immediate environment. By eating out of season, we further confuse our systems and further inflame the gut.
Through sufficient light exposure, Carrie has witnessed even the most extreme cases of IBS and other gut-based issues healed within very short periods of time. She describes the way she lets in the good light and keeps out the bad light throughout her typical day. She explains the importance of blue-blocking glasses, a calm parasympathetic nervous system, and why saying a prayer of gratitude before eating is a practice rooted in science.
If you’ve tried all the other methods and have yet to restore your gut health, join today’s conversation. Carrie will explain the importance of grounding, of getting sunlight on your abdomen and just how important melatonin is to healing.

02 May 2024 | EP 074: Brilliant Inventors Part II: Portable Phototherapy To Harness Our Body’s Own Light | 01:01:34
“Light therapy is unbelievably powerful and it certainly is the future of medicine,” says David Schmidt, CEO of health and wellness company LifeWave, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss his X39 patch and its ability to completely change our current approach to anti-aging and, as a result, to fighting disease. Rather than injecting stem cells, exogenous substances or outside sources of light into the system, the patch works with the infrared light which exists inside of the body, communicates with the body’s systems and sets changes in motion. On today’s episode, David explains what separates his products from other forms of phototherapy and how his early work with the military and in cancer research led up to his work today.
Nature and religion have also inspired David’s research. He describes his findings from studies of flatworms, hydras and lobster—species which contain an abundance of stem cells, regenerate lost body parts and, as long as they are protected and properly provided for, are immortal. He also explains his belief that the equivalent of God’s word is written in numeric form in the light frequencies of living species.
In both nature and prayer, we can find the answers to our healing, David says. Join today’s discussion to learn more.

08 Feb 2024 | EP 062: What’s Your Human Design? Understanding All The Parts of Ourselves | 00:59:57
“When people get to settle into their natural rhythm versus forcing themselves to be what they’ve been conditioned to be or what society tells us we need to be, then there’s infinite freedom,” says Gwen Dittmar, who specializes in Quantum Human Design. This practice, originally founded by Rah Uber Hu, draws from Vedic astrology, quantum physics, the Hindu chakra system, as well as elements of Kabbalah and of the Chinese I Ching.
We are all composed of nine energy centers in different configurations which determine the unique way in which we all download information from the divine and how that information assimilates inside of us. Our “authorities” help us best make decisions, while our “strategies” help to determine how we are best to engage in life. Our “profile number” has to do with our personalities, our purpose and our ideal experience.
Gwen practices a form of quantum design introduced by Karen Curry Parker, which is built upon Ra Uru Hu’s work and considers us co-creators along with our chart, able to tap into different frequencies that may not necessarily be printed there.
Gwen walks Meredith through her own quantum design chart, explaining how it affects everything from her ideal method of manifesting to the way she digests food. As humans have evolved so have–and will–the elements of quantum design. Gwen explains the “split” she believes humanity will experience in our lifetime, one which will explain all of the transitions the world has been experiencing lately.
Quantum human design helps us to better understand ourselves, our unique way of being in the world, and how we can tap into our highest potential. It gives us the opportunity to develop more compassion for others, allowing us to celebrate what they bring to the table, and determine how to best work together for a common good.

06 Apr 2023 | Ep 018: Dr. Stephen Hussey on How Light Helps Our Hearts & Why Most of What We Think We Know Is Probably Wrong | 01:17:39
“The main role of the heart is to vortex blood. So in a way, it is kind of responsible for the motion of blood, but just not in the way, not in the forceful pumping that we think of,” explains Dr. Stephen Hussey.
Dr. Hussey first got curious about the way heart health actually works upon reading a study that showed how inefficient the heart is as a pressure propulsion pump. In school, people are taught that the heart’s main function is to pump blood throughout the body. In reality, the heart functions more like a hydraulic ram. Dr. Hussey explains how light helps heart health and why most of what you were likely taught about the heart is probably wrong.
The heart helps with blood flow, but is not actively pumping it throughout the body. Because biological surfaces are hydrophilic, or water loving, they will attract the water in the blood, re-structure it, and then that structured water lines the arteries. Thanks to the paramagnetism of body tissues and blood, the blood is attracted to the structured water along the lining and this keeps blood flow moving. When flow is interrupted, that is when medical issues arise like blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks. The main problem is that modern life is no longer conducive to creating or maintaining healthy flow throughout the body. From processed diets to artificial light, the modern lifestyle is one that tends to keep people out of balance with their environment.
There are many ways to strengthen your heart’s ability to vortex blood. Activities like taking a walk barefoot, seeing the sunrise and sunset daily, and using an infrared sauna can help you to improve flow and boost your heart health.

09 Feb 2023 | Ep 010: The Scientist Who Redefined Water: Carrie Bennett & Dr. Gerald Pollack On How Our Cells Really Work | 01:35:30
“Everything the cell does, it doesn't matter what kind of cell, it needs a cell full of easy water,” explains Dr. Gerald Pollock. Dr. Pollock is a professor of bioengineering at the University of Washington, founding Editor in Chief of The Water Journal, founder of The Water Conference, and author of several bestselling books including The Fourth Phase of Water. Today, guest host Carrie Bennett talks to Dr. Gerald Pollock about easy water, or exclusion zone water, and the truth about how our cells really work. When we are in school, we learn that the energy in our bodies comes from ATP generated by our mitochondria. However, in truth, water plays a huge role in where we get our energy. 99 out of every 100 molecules in the body are water molecules, and that water exists in a different form from the liquid water we are used to seeing. The water within our cells is a structured water with rearranged hydrogen and oxygen molecules forming hexagons to create a barrier against penetration. In order for our cells to function optimally, they must be filled with easy water. Most people are familiar with the fact that the human body is composed mostly of water, but quantum biology takes it a step further to examine the nature of that water. The water within our cells is in a gel-like form known as exclusion zone water or easy water. This gel-like water is where our cells get the majority of their energy from. Quotes

“We live in divine direction and divine time,” says today’s guest David Meltzer, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast for the show’s first-ever bonus episode. Though he is a legendary sports agent—as well as a lawyer, entrepreneur, speaker, author and lawyer with a huge online following—David’s journey and transformation using quantum principles has led him to believe that competition with anyone but oneself is a zero sum game. Instead we are all interconnected and have access to infinite abundance, love, promotion and protection. To achieve our goals we must simply learn not to interfere with what we’ve already been given.
In today's episode, David explains that as humans we bear not only a genetic inheritance but an energetic one, and that our attitudes, beliefs and thoughts deeply impact our reality. He discusses quantum healing, both on the conscious and subconscious level, why sleep is not only important for physical restoration but as a means of accessing another level of consciousness not available to us when we’re awake, and what it truly means to surrender.
David’s journey exemplifies the importance of meeting people where they are in their spiritual journey rather than where we think they should be. Stay tuned to learn how you can obtain a complimentary copy of his book wherein he shares more lessons from his remarkable journey.

09 Mar 2023 | Ep 014: Master Conditioning Coach Jim Laird and Animal Wellness Expert Jackie Jolie Share 20 Years of Lessons Learned on The Road To QuantumHealth | 01:30:49
“The average maximum security prison nurse gets more time outside than children do today,” shares Jim Laird, master strength and conditioning fitness coach with 25 years of experience. Today, Jim acts as the guest host alongside co-host Jackie Jolie, a recent graduate of the Quantum Health Practitioner Program level one, to talk about lessons learned throughout their careers from lifting weights to watching sunrises. Jackie met Jim at a CrossFit gym. She was a college student doing all the usual things, barely eating, avoiding proteins and fats, and ignoring weight training in favor of cardio. Training with Jim changed her entire mindset, as she realized she could actually eat real foods and gain muscle tone while staying a healthy weight. When Jackie ended up with Lyme disease, Jim helped her again by introducing her to the world of quantum biology and the role of sunlight in overall health. She had been spending a lot of time outside working with horses, but had not known how the timing of sun exposure played a large role in mitochondrial health. Now they encourage others to think differently, showing people with autoimmune conditions and chronic diseases that healing can be as simple as getting reconnected with nature, seeing the sunrise, and helping the body become more resilient to everyday stressors. The modern world is designed to limit our time in nature. Kids barely go outside to play, people work long days indoors, and all of this is viewed as normal. If you go back even just a couple decades, people were regularly spending time outside and there were much lower rates of chronic disease and obesity. It is important to lead by example and encourage others to connect with nature daily for their overall wellbeing. Quotes

21 Nov 2024 | EP 104: Trust Your Journey: From Engineering to EMFs & A Decentralized Life | 01:11:42
“This is the main environmental toxin left to attack, the most pervasive issue, and the most inconvenient truth,” says Tristan Scott who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss the dangers of non-native EMFs, the kind with which we are bombarded on a near-constant basis and the effects of which have been majorly downplayed–if not outright denied–by the entities meant to protect us. Luckily, the methods to circumvent nearly 90% of these EMFs are very simple and almost always free, and Tristan shares those methods with us today.
He also explains why so much of what we thought we knew about the topic is incomplete if not flat out wrong. Foreign EMFs interfere with the signals that our electromagnetic biology receives from the electromagnetic spectrum of the earth. Tristan explains how and why our bodies kick off reactive oxygen species, and why supplements often do far more harm than good. He explains how he came to work on the Daylight Computer, the first biologically friendly computer and what we can expect from it in the near future.
Learn what Tristan learns from his deep connection with nature and how we can take the steps to empower ourselves to mitigate the effects of EMF pollution and forge our own paths back to nature as well.

07 Nov 2024 | EP 102: The Urgent Task of Creating New Systems Healthcare In The Age of An Autoimmune Epidemic | 01:04:21
“The ship is sinking, the people in charge are in denial and they’re making a lot of money,” says Dr. Leland Stillman, who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss the proliferation of autoimmune diseases—including unfamiliar ones—-and the $1.3 trillion that the pharmaceutical industry is set to make in the coming months, just as people are abandoning the traditional medical paradigm–and its system of perverse incentives—in droves. Today, Dr. Stillman will break down how autoimmune diseases—including POTS and PANDAS, both of which are becoming increasingly common in young people—actually form and function in the body, and how we can begin to take control of our own health.
It begins with identifying and addressing the toxins—both internal and external, from our diets and EMF exposure to our thoughts and relationships—that ultimately erode our cells and their ability to function.
In today’s discussion, Dr. Stillman gets candid about the machinations of the pharmaceutical industry, the burden placed on most physicians.

14 Jun 2023 | Ep 028: Preventing Heart Attacks with Quantum Cardiologist Dr. Michael Twyman | 00:53:50
“If you don't mind your mitochondria at night, it does not matter what you do the next day,” explains Dr. Michael Twyman, board certified cardiologist. Dr. Michael began working in traditional cardiology in 2012 and realized that there was a lack of focus on preventative measures to help stop people from having heart problems in the first place. In 2020, he opened his own clinic to address preventative heart health by applying quantum principles. In this episode, Dr. Michael shares his top tips for preventing heart attacks through healing mitochondrial dysfunction. There are up to 5,000 mitochondria per heart cell. With so many mitochondria fueling the heart, it stands to reason that when the mitochondria are not getting enough energy to function properly, then heart health will decline. There are many preventative measures one can take to protect their heart, but at the base level, it all comes down to sunlight and sleep. Simply by seeing the sunrise each day and getting good quality sleep, you will significantly lower your risk for heart attacks. Sleep is key, because during sleep the mitochondria undergo the repair process. Issues like congestive heart failure and atrial fibrillation are linked to sleep apnea, so it is critical to mind your circadian rhythm and make improving your sleep a top priority. Most people do not think about their heart health until something goes wrong. Instead of waiting for a heart attack to address your heart health, start taking preventative measures today. Quotes

25 May 2023 | Ep 025: Dr. Kelli Ritter, PhD, On The Quantum Biology of Emotional Health, The Gut Brain Axis & Anxiety | 01:08:16
Often people are surprised that their immune system is so connected to their emotions,” shares Dr. Kelli Ritter, quantum-certified anxiety coach and host of The Nourished Soul podcast. As a former professor and mental health focused nutritionist, Dr. Kelli has a lot of experience with the gut brain axis, or the connection between mental health and digestive health. She believes that circadian rhythm is the missing link to regulating not only physical health, but emotional health as well. In this episode, Dr. Kelli talks about the impact emotions can have on the immune system's ability to function optimally and the ways that sunlight can be used to heal physical and emotional health concerns alike. The vagus nerve runs all the way through the entire body and plays a major role in the communication process. This communication process can be interrupted by circadian dysregulation, as without enough sunlight the mitochondria are unable to produce adequate amounts of structured water and ATP. This can lead to health issues like fatigue, insomnia, digestive difficulties, and anxiety. When it comes to healing mental health conditions like anxiety, the best place to start is with circadian signaling. This means doing things like eating only during the day, sticking to seasonally appropriate foods, watching the sunrise each morning, and steering clear of harmful, artificial light sources, especially before bed. When you regulate your circadian rhythm, not only will your physical health improve, but your mental health will as well. If you struggle with anxiety or any associated digestive health difficulties, it might be time to take a look at your relationship with the sun and begin to regulate your circadian rhythm. Quotes

16 Feb 2023 | Ep 011: The Physician Who Went Quantum & Left The System To Start A Concierge Practice | 01:14:13
“The top of the pyramid is exercise, which is important, but it's not foundational. The foundation is circadian health because that relates to the health of the mitochondria,” explains Dr. Francisco Gutierrez. Dr. Gutierrez has over 25 years of experience in internal medicine. At just 41 years old, he suffered a stroke in spite of living a traditionally healthy lifestyle where he exercised frequently. Then, when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Dr. Gutierrez realized that life was too short to continue working in a system that was misaligned with his values. He decided to open his own membership based direct primary care practice, Solymar Direct Health. Today, host Meredith Oke talks with Dr. Francisco Gutierrez about his journey through the healthcare system, his decision to start his own practice, and the importance of metabolic health. Physician burnout and suicide rates are unfortunately extremely high, mainly because physicians within the traditional healthcare system do not get to just be physicians. In order to be able to apply his creativity and apply quantum biology concepts to his treatment regimens, Dr. Gutierrez chose to open his own practice. Many people think that if they eat right and exercise, then that is all they need to be healthy. However, the focus should instead be on circadian biology and mitochondrial health. Without enough daily sunlight, your body will not run correctly regardless of exercising regularly and eating healthy foods. Metabolic health is largely dependent upon circadian biology. It is important to reset your internal clock every day by seeing the sunrise and sunset, eating at the correct times during the day, and getting at least 20 to 30 minutes of direct sunlight into your body. 27 Jul 2023 | Ep 034: From Pharmaceuticals To Photobiomodulation With Rebel Scientist Sarah Turner | 01:05:27
“I'm targeting the blood, I'm targeting the mitochondria, I'm also targeting the water. And by using four distinct wavelengths, you are maximizing your chance of hitting a chromophore that's going to have a therapeutic effect,” explains Sarah Turner, a neuroscientist turned biohacker and host of the Rebel Scientist podcast. Sarah’s experience working in pharmaceuticals led her to begin exploring quantum biology, specifically photobiomodulation or red light therapy. Her background in neurology informed her desire to research how light may be able to impact the brain, particularly in people with neurodegenerative diseases like Parkinson’s. In this episode, Sarah speaks with host Meredith Oke about her company CeraThrive and their new photobiomodulation device for healing along the gut-brain axis. There is a common misconception that it is entirely dark within the skull, but light does penetrate into the brain. While it is a small amount of light that makes it through, it is still enough to provide significant therapeutic effects. Photobiomodulation takes advantage of the body’s many natural light receptors, using four distinct wavelengths to target the blood, mitochondria, and structured water. When people are exposed to the correct light frequencies at the right times of day, this light aids the body with its repair processes. With CeraThrive’s red light therapy system composed of both the device and a convenient app, people can regain control over their own health and healing without the need for pharmaceuticals. Whether you are suffering from a neurodegenerative disease like Parkinson’s or simply want to improve your overall health while also reducing chronic pain, red light therapy devices like CeraThrive can help. When combined with circadian lifestyle changes like grounding and seeing the sunrise and sunset, photobiomodulation promotes optimal brain functioning and full body healing. Quotes

16 Mar 2023 | Ep 015: Ophthalmologist Dr. Jay Montgomery Gives A Masterclass On The Eye Clock And How It Controls Our Health | 00:59:25
“The eye is the most important organ. It's the metronome for the circadian system,” explains Dr. Jay Montgomery, ophthalmologist.
Dr. Montgomery started learning all he could about quantum biology after developing several chronic health conditions that nearly cost him his career. Today, he provides a masterclass on the eye clock and how it controls all aspects of health.
When Dr. Montgomery started to learn more about the link between mitochondrial health and sunlight, he realized that the paradigm he and other physicians have been using on patients for decades is completely backwards. Typically the advice is to cover up when in the sun and avoid UV rays, but this is actually the worst thing someone can do for their health. The eye is not only about vision, but also contains a clock that links with every cell of the body by transmitting signals that activate certain processes. These signals even control the production of critical hormones like melatonin and dopamine. When you completely block out sunlight and instead expose yourself to artificial light, you are disrupting your eye clock which in turn disrupts your circadian rhythm.
Artificial light is causing a large increase in chronic illness diagnoses and also negatively impacting mental health. By watching more sunrises and sunsets, sleeping and eating at regular times each day, using blue light blockers at night indoors, and exposing yourself to the sun instead of covering up, you can improve your overall health and reduce inflammation throughout the body.

19 Dec 2024 | EP 108: Quantum Bodies: Living & Moving As A Liquid Crystal Matrix | 01:23:44
“Fascia is the interface of spirit animating the pattern of the matter of us,” says Joanne Avison, who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to explain that, despite what we’ve been taught, the body is not bio-mechanical and made up of three layers, but a series of spiral designs—including the heart that is the first thing to appear at conception and shape the unique individuals that we all are. We are, explains Joanne—movement specialist and practitioner and bestselling author on the topic of fascia and fascia anatomy—a liquid crystal matrix that is connected to and interacts with the larger liquid crystal matrix around us.
Thinking of our bodies this way means debunking the benefits of popular methods and practices—such as stretching and yoga. Joanne explains how doing subtle micro-movements and their “5 Rs,” help us to tune into our bodies intelligence and learn to listen and respond. She shares how this bodywork helped her father, her clients and herself to rebound from major injury and illness, and why the success of healing in body work is largely about matching frequencies.
Join today’s discussion to learn why the last thing we should be looking for is alignment and stability, and how to successfully navigate this new paradigm into which we’ve entered.

15 Feb 2024 | EP 063: Why Light Matters So Much | 00:54:14
“Our biology–and all of the other animals and creatures on the planet, everything–is geared to the wavelengths of the sun,” says Dr. Sara Pugh, PhD, who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss the vital importance of daily exposure to natural light.
Dr. Sara breaks down a complicated process into a series of dynamic metaphors. The sun is like a major clock to which everything in nature is attuned, and it sends information down to the mitochondria. The eyes, the biggest clock of the body, take in the information and pass it down to a series of smaller and smaller body clocks–like Russian nesting dolls–all of which are responsible for everything from making neurotransmitters, hormones, burning energy as fat or glucose. When we don’t get the right light at the right time and our circadian rhythm is thrown off, it’s like an airport—a few missed flights throw the entire operation off. The resulting chaos is what we know as inflammation.
All of our electrons are identical, Dr. Sara goes on to explain, until light hits them and imbues them with their own unique purpose. Similarly, as much as we all need the sun, the way we process the sun–or lack thereof–manifests differently for each individual. Dr. Sara and Meredith discuss similar experiences in which they both were exposed to artificial blue light into the wee hours of the morning for prolonged periods of time, and the very different illnesses that they developed as a result.
There are no substitutes for natural light–which includes the light that gets through cloud cover and that is reflected by the moon. Neither supplements nor infrared lamps, the latter of which offers a very limited spectrum. Even the healthiest foods are much less effective when they are not receiving their corresponding information from the sun as taken in through the body.
We are moving away from an era which focused solely on biochemistry as the root of all ills and processes into a new age of quantum biology and the effect of natural light–and lack thereof—on all of our systems. Sara describes how the learning curve affects research funding and the memorable mistake she made when following what was then the most up-to-date advice on light therapy.
Join Dr. Sara Pugh and Meredith as they discuss the small steps we can take, even when indoors to get more natural light. They also talk about the effect of proper light exposure on preventing illnesses including obesity, cancer and depression.

23 May 2024 | EP 077: A Computer That Cares About Your Biology | 00:51:33
“We blame ourselves when these tools are actually mismatched for us,” says Anjan Katta, founder of the Daylight Computer company, which has made the first computer that is reverse-engineered to be good for us—or at least not harmful to our biology the way current models are. On today’s episode of The Quantum Biology Collective podcast, he explains to host Meredith Oke just how his model works differently, eliminating blue light and flicker.
He explains what happens when a normal laptop flickers, how it disrupts our circadian rhythm and affects our brain in a way that’s similar to motion sickness, though we don’t notice it until it becomes a major problem.
Devices and screens, in their current state, are not only biological mismatches, but psychological ones as well, argues Anjan. He explains how living with ADHD led him to create the Daylight Computer, his plans for similar software and devices, and how technology could be a major tool to promote empathy and understanding.
Join today’s episode to learn how Daylight Computers will teach us how to forgive ourselves and how we can reclaim our sacred spaces.

13 Jun 2024 | EP 080: How Our Eyes Run Our Biology | 01:05:37
“Our eyes are hormone-making organs,” says optometrist and integrative health coach Dr. Valerie Giangrande, and for most of us, this is nothing short of a revelation. Starting with the first strains of sunrise, the eyes take in light, send signals to our internal clock to release hormones in their intended order, so that those hormones work toward our ultimate health and healing. On today’s episode of The Quantum Biology Collective, Dr. Valerie talks with host Meredith Oke about this fascinating and complex process and how extensively the eyes influence the rest of the body.
In turn, the state of the body is often communicated through the eyes. Dry eyes, for example, can be a symptom of hydration deep at the cellular level. Dr. Valerie explains how contrary to popular belief, it is not too much sunlight but often lack thereof that accounts for common degenerative eye issues such as cataracts.
Unfortunately, so many of us spend all day looking at screens which emit a blue light that signals to the body that it’s perpetually 12:00 pm. When we do go outside, we block light from our eyes by wearing sunglasses and even glasses and contacts. Dr. Valerie reveals what we can do to eliminate daily barriers to sunlight.
Eyes are the windows to the soul and, as it turns out, to the body. Tune in to this eye-opening conversation to learn how you can optimize your daily light intake.

28 Mar 2024 | EP 069: Brilliant Inventors #1: Sound As The Origin Of Light and Life? | 01:23:24
Music medicine and the healing power of sound are concepts which date back as far as Ancient Greece, having been first attributed to Pythagoras. John Stuart Reid’s first encounter with sound healing took place in the King’s Chamber in the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt, where he ran an experiment in cymatics which, he explains, is the basic principle that sound—which is omnipresent—makes an acoustic impression upon any membrane it encounters—such as those in the countless cells which comprise our bodies. His invention, the cymascope, which makes visible the different patterns that various sounds make on cells, has the power to revolutionize our approach to healing–and even to help eliminate cancer.
John, a sound engineer turned acoustic physics scientist, reveals how sound promotes oxygenation in the body, its effect on the Vagus nerve and how it can help eliminate chronic inflammation in the body and slow the aging process.
He’ll explain how music affects the cells, why, contrary to popular belief, pop music is more healing than classical music, and which make and model of headphones provide the most beneficial listening experience.

04 Jul 2024 | EP 083: The Non Linear Nature of Healing | 01:44:34
“Unresolved emotions are such an overlooked piece. It’s huge,” says Dr. Calvin Ng, a chiropractor specializing in applied kinesiology and “neuro-emotional technique,” about the impact of the nervous system on our health. In modern Western society, we often live in a state of constant sympathetic dominance—fight or flight. This unhealed trauma, stored resentment, anger, and misalignment with our true values and desires lead to cellular chaos, also known as inflammation, the cornerstone of disease.
Our nervous system shapes our cellular beliefs. Childhood trauma causes our nervous system to keep us in a perpetual state of stress for safety. This results in self-protective false narratives and limiting beliefs. However, speaking positively to ourselves can change not just our health but our lives entirely. Dr. Calvin explains how he helps clients uncover the root of their issues, “clear the fog,” and move towards their dreams.
Despite not being “woo-woo,” Dr. Calvin emphasizes the importance of connecting to our subconscious to truly experience positive change at the level of our nervous system. No amount of nutrition or exercise can replace this connection. He shares the story of his parents’ differing attitudes toward their jobs and the resulting health outcomes.
Dr. Calvin also highlights the natural world as an example of circadian harmony, a true sense of belonging, and the time to think and find answers. Join today’s episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to hear him discuss the power of hope and why he believes light is the future of medicine.

18 May 2023 | Ep 024: Quantum Dentistry: What You Need To Know About The Dental Industry & Why Health Starts In The Mouth | 01:18:09
“The oral cavity is so important. It's the external representation of the gut,” explains Kelly Bento, dental hygienist and certified student of quantum biology. As a dental hygienist for several decades, Kelly has seen it all working in both traditional dental practices and biological dental practices that offer a more holistic approach to dentistry. In this episode, Kelly discusses the ways that the mouth acts as a predictor of overall future health. She talks about the differences between traditional and holistic dentistry, the importance of a healthy light environment for dental patients, and the dangers of common dental practices like the use of metal implants and fluoride. While there are benefits to seeing a holistic dentist rather than going to a traditional practice such as getting away from the use of harmful fluoride, Kelly explains that there are still areas of improvement that need to be made at holistic practices, particularly when it comes to the light environment. Overhead LED lights combined with powerful headlamps on dental loupes cause issues for both patients and dental practitioners alike. The use of metal implants is a real issue as implants not only inevitably fail, but also are known to cause health issues like autoimmune conditions and complications associated with intercepting radio and wi-fi frequency waves. Natural light from the sun is the number one most important factor for mitochondrial health. If you are going to a conventional dentist and noticing negative health impacts, speak up and explain that the light bothers you. Quotes

06 Jun 2024 | EP 079: The Impact of Complete Solar Spectrum On Our Bodies | 01:08:20
“Melatonin is the body’s most effective antioxidant,” declares Scott Zimmerman, who published a groundbreaking paper on subcellular melatonin, which has completely altered our understanding of how the hormone is produced in the body.
As it turns out, melatonin is not solely produced by the pineal gland but in all of our mitochondria. It works to soothe the cortisol that is produced when we engage in nearly any activity, including exercise.
On today’s episode of The Quantum Biology Collective podcast, Scott dispels common misconceptions including just how deeply different types of light penetrate the body. Our modern indoor environment—from hospitals to homes, windows and screens— prevents us from accessing all of the near-infrared light that we were born to absorb and that is so vital to our health.
This is most especially important for children, Scott says. Due to body size and hormonal activity, they are most affected by light, and will suffer the most if we don’t change our current lifestyles.
Join today’s discussion to learn how nature amplifies our absorption of near-infrared light and why not all blue light is bad.

26 Jan 2023 | Ep 008 The Chronobiology Master: Dr. Alexander Wunsch on the Danger of Junk Light & The Secrets of The Sun | 01:04:08
“Almost every chronic disorder or chronic condition can be linked more or less directly to chronobiological disruption. What we would call civilization associated disorders or diseases, they are all linked to bad habits with regard to lighting and light exposure,” explains Dr. Alexander Wunsch, chronobiologist. Today, host Meredith Oke talks with Dr. Wunsch about the dangers of artificial light and the reasons why natural sunlight is so vital. Every organism has adapted to a natural circadian biology, meaning they balance their sleep and wake cycles with those of the sun. When that circadian rhythm is interrupted, our bodies cannot function optimally and require more energy for basic metabolic functions. In most of Western society, people are not getting the proper daily dose of sunlight and instead are spending 90% of their day exposed to artificial light including blue light from computers and cellphones. Most people are not getting the right dosage of sunlight to reap the positive benefits of the sun. When they do get sunlight, people are often overdosing and causing long term harm to their bodies. In contrast, artificial light is damaging to our natural circadian biology and can be just as problematic to our health as overdosing on sunlight. Quotes

22 Dec 2022 | Ep 004 How Quantum Health Principles Are Changing The Way Athletes Train | 00:52:44
“If I can use multiple variables to make someone get better, that will be much more sustainable, and that person will be much healthier, explains Jim Laird, Strength & Conditioning Coach. In today’s episode, guest hosts Jim Laird and Dr. Leland Stillman return to discuss adjusting your circadian clock during daylight savings and how light aids with athletic performance. Through their knowledge of quantum biology, they share what it means to be a quantum athlete and healthier individual overall. With our modern lifestyles, we are constantly indoors, negatively affecting our fitness and health. For instance, if we expose ourselves to blue light at night, our bodies believe its day time, which throws off the regeneration process of our mitochondria. Without proper sleep, we cannot optimize our physical performance and fulfill our athletic goals. To counteract this, find time to go outside and take in that natural light our bodies are meant to have. Quantum Health is changing how athletes train. 25 Jan 2024 | EP 060: How To Read The Energy of The Body with Medical Intuitive Wendie Colter | 00:59:51
“What medical intuitives have been doing naturally for centuries is now being studied and corroborated by Science,” says Wendie Colter, a pioneering medical intuitive and founder of The Practical Path. The Practical Path is a school that certifies medical intuitives. On this episode of The Quantum Biology Collective Podcast, host Meredith Oke, and Wendie Colter explain and discuss the intricacies and practical applications of medical intuition, a field that harmonizes energetic assessment with traditional medicine.
So what is medical intuition? Wendie Colter explains it’s not just an intuitive practice; it's an in-depth energetic evaluation of the physical body and the biofield, considering emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions of illness. Wendie has not only established credibility in this field through her certification program but also substantiated its efficacy with compelling research.
Meredith and Wendie address the skepticism often associated with medical intuition, clarifying its distinction from psychic readings and shamanism. It's a method grounded in visualizing the body's physiological and anatomical nuances to identify imbalances and their roots, complementing rather than replacing medical care.
Wendie shares the journey behind becoming a medical intuitive, highlighting the thorough training required and dispelling the myth that it's an innate gift reserved for a few. They also discuss the critical role of ethics and standardized practices in the realm of intuitive healing.
This episode invites listeners to consider the broader spectrum of health understanding, positioning medical intuition as a valuable asset in enriching patient outcomes and expanding the horizons of healthcare practices.

30 May 2024 | EP 078: The ICU Doctor Who Prescribes Sunlight As Medicine | 01:30:01
“Melatonin is the most powerful antioxidant that we know of in the human body—the king of antioxidants,” says today’s guest Dr. Roger Seheult, whose Youtube channel MedCram, helps make complicated medical topics easier to understand. On this episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast, he breaks down the process by which melatonin mitigates oxidative stress at the mitochondrial level, thus preventing major diseases in the body.
The best way to get melatonin? From infrared light. But it’s more complex than that. Dr. Seheult explains the two very different functions melatonin takes on during the day versus at night, where the body’s greatest concentration of mitochondria lay, and why Vitamin D is just the beginning of what the sun has to offer our bodies.
This last point was raised throughout the COVID-19 pandemic—as well as the Spanish Flu pandemic of 1918—where light therapies were used to treat patients. Dr. Seheult discusses the pioneering work of John Harvey Kellogg, a study performed in Brazil in which COVID patients were treated with an LED jacket, and the impact of light therapy on COVID patients who were on the brink of being intubated for ventilation.
Dr. Seheult shares his eight pillars of health—which form the acronym NEW START---and how a green environment enhances the absorption of near-infrared light.

29 Jun 2023 | Ep 030: How To Be Your Own Quantum Health Detective with Wellness Practitioner Laura Kissmann | 01:19:32
“We are batteries made out of water charged by sunlight,” explains Quantum Health Clinician and Educator, Laura Kissmann. Without exposure to natural light, the circadian rhythm that controls all the biological processes in the body will become misaligned. Although Laura now spends her time performing energy healing through quantum health practices such as red light therapy and access bars, she did not start out this way. Laura spent decades serving in the Canadian military as well as four years in an underground bunker surrounded by EMF while working for NORAD. In this episode, Laura shares her career and health history for a side by side analysis of what her environmental conditions were at the time each of her symptoms developed. Environmental conditions that are out of alignment with the body’s biological needs are at the root of all disease. Although it would be decades before Laura understood the connection between her environment and her numerous physical symptoms, she began to put the pieces together much earlier that something about her lifestyle was negatively impacting her health. When Laura began her military career, she was a young, healthy athlete. Then came decades of being forced to wear shoes that caused her to develop plantar fasciitis, followed by spending twelve hours per day in an underground bunker under fluorescent lighting, surrounded by EMF signals. After the birth of her first child, Laura was sicker than ever, experiencing symptoms that turned out to be hyperthyroidism, leaky gut, intestinal parasites, and chemical sensitivity. Looking back through Laura’s health history alongside her environmental conditions gives valuable insight into how circadian dysfunction caused her health to decline. When you take the time to analyze your physical and mental health symptoms through the lens of quantum biology, the immense impact of your environment on your health will become more and more clear. Be your own quantum health detective and see where your own environment may be misaligned with your body’s natural biology. Quotes

08 Jun 2023 | Ep 027: An Overview of Homeopathy, the Ultimate Quantum Modality with Heathar Shepard | 01:09:49
“Sunlight combined with homeopathy transformed my health and my healing experience in huge ways,” shares Heathar Shepard, a New Mexico-based homeopathic health practitioner. After a car accident that left her with a traumatic brain injury, Heathar tried everything to get her health back on track. It was not until she discovered the quantum lifestyle and began incorporating more sunlight into her routine that she began to see dramatic improvements to her overall health. After only one week of watching the sunrise and improving her circadian rhythm, she was sleeping better and her migraines and dizziness were nearly gone. In this episode, Heathar breaks down how homeopathy works and the ways in which it can help to restore the body’s mitochondrial functioning, especially when combined with a quantum lifestyle. People often have misconceptions about homeopathy, viewing it as just “sugar pills”. In actuality, homeopathic remedies are much more. They are a diluted energetic remnant of the original substance that can aid in curing a multitude of health concerns from acute pain and illness to severe chronic conditions like cancer and schizophrenia. After a traumatic event like an injury or illness, grief, shock, or witnessing something very frightening, the body’s electron spin rate changes. When homeopathic supplements are taken in combination with quantum lifestyle changes, dramatic improvements are possible due to restoring the electron spin rate to its original state. Emotional states like grief can have a strong impact on a person’s overall health. This is why homeopaths tend to focus on healing emotional states first before addressing physical symptoms. As the emotional state is healed, the physical symptoms will begin to heal as well. If you are dealing with the aftereffects of an injury, grief, or any kind of shock to the body, and traditional modalities have not provided relief, consider visiting a homeopath like Heathar who can help get your mitochondrial functioning back on track. 11 Jan 2024 | EP 058: Sunlight and PTSD with Kelley Erickson | 01:02:03
Could the secret to overcoming trauma lie in the interplay of light and nutrition?" In this episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast, Meredith Oke delves into this topic with Kelley Erickson, a holistic health practitioner with expertise in nutrition, Reiki, and functional mental health. Kelley shares her journey of healing from childhood trauma and addiction, unveiling how she discovered the vital connection between light, nutrition, and trauma recovery.
Her story begins with her struggles against complex PTSD and addiction, leading her to explore profound healing avenues. Initially focused on helping her son with a movement disorder, Kelley soon realized the necessity of addressing her own deep-seated trauma.
During her healing process, Kelley discovered the significant impact of light and nutrition on trauma recovery. She discusses how the mitochondria, our cells' powerhouses, are affected by chronic stress and trauma. Adopting a ketogenic diet helped shift her body's energy utilization from sugar to fat, supporting mitochondrial health and overall well-being.
Kelley also highlights the crucial role of natural light in regulating circadian rhythms and the stress response system. Sun exposure, she explains, sends vital safety signals to the mitochondria and assists in regulating the vagus nerve, key to managing stress and enhancing emotional health.
In addition, Kelley offers practical tips to create an environment conducive to trauma recovery. These include allowing fresh air and natural light into living spaces, using red light or candlelight in the evenings, and reducing electromagnetic field exposure by limiting Wi-Fi and device usage.
Kelley's story is a powerful reminder of the interconnectedness of our physical and emotional health and the importance of a holistic approach in healing trauma. Her insights provide valuable strategies for those seeking to nurture their bodies and minds on the path to recovery.

01 Feb 2024 | EP 061: The Infrared Deficiency Epidemic & Effective Red Light Therapy with Kelly Bento | 01:03:12
“Super simply, it’s everything for everyone,” says Kelly Bento about the power of infrared light therapy to heal the body and promote wellness by infusing your cells with direct energy. A clinician, Kelly regularly used lasers on her dental patients, and became even more invested in them after her brother sustained a brain injury. Soon she developed her own red light therapy products, Soleil Well.
Red light makes up 42% of the sun’s light that is meant to hit us all day, every day. Since all of us living in the modern world are drastically deficient in natural light, the photobiomodulation that red light therapy acts as an adjunct therapy. Your cells recognize and know exactly what to do with that light, providing the cleanest, quickest and most efficient form of energy.
The benefits are immediate, promoting everything from increased circulation of blood to the brain, improved lymphatic flow to stem cell stimulation. Despite all of these benefits, many still believe that infrared benefits are merely skindeep. Kelly answers these criticisms, explaining how her products–which include panels and a torch—work and the best time to use them.
She also shares the story of a client who is one of the world’s longest-living survivors of childhood diabetes, and as a result had a serious and persistent issue that no other therapy could seem to alleviate. The results provided by infrared therapy and the relief it provided were nothing short of remarkable.
As a clinician first and a businesswoman second, Kelly goes above and beyond to assure the quality of her products. She and Meredith warn of what many manufacturers do–and don’t do–and what to look for from your products.

03 Oct 2024 | EP 097: Mitochondria, Attachment, Consciousness: It’s All Connected | 01:10:28
“It’s really important to think about the small choices that one is making every day from the mind and heart space and realize how much our thoughts are affecting our biology,” says today’s guest Heather Crimson, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss the largely overlooked connection between mental health and mitochondrial health. In her 20-year practice as a therapist and through her own journey of healing from early childhood trauma, Heather has come to realize the damage that trauma inflicts upon our cells, causing inflammation and a resulting cast of physical issues, which, in turn, fuel our negative thoughts and emotions. On today’s episode, she talks about reaching outside of contemporary psychology’s biochemical model to address clients’ issues at the cellular level and, ultimately, make therapy more effective.
Addressing mitochondrial damage not only enhances traditional therapy practices, but reaches past the limits of merely talking out the problem. When we listen to our body’s needs—the basis of which is aligning with circadian light—we align with our truest selves. Heather discusses the practice of myofascial release, which not only clears out old trauma but allows space for new, healthier connections going forward.
Contrary to popular belief, healing can be quick, easy, and even fun. Join today’s discussion with Heather and host Meredith Oke to learn more.

22 Jun 2023 | Ep 029: Sunlight Over SSRI’s: Why Going Outside Matters More Than Meds | 01:00:33
“If you aren't embracing or exposing yourself to natural light or the principles of quantum biology, and all the things about ourselves as electromagnetic beings, it's going to compromise your health and that includes your mental health,” explains Heather Crimson, quantum therapist and experienced marriage and family counselor. The Western medical model heavily relies on prescribing medications even for mild and moderate cases of depression and anxiety. These pills act as a Bandaid rather than actually working out the root causes of the patients’ dysregulation. In this episode, Heather debunks myths about SSRI efficacy and shares her sunlight prescription for cultivating energy, confidence and security without medication. There is a vast lack of knowledge within the medical community when it comes to the impact of sunlight on mental health. Due to busy modern lifestyles filled with artificial light, most people are living in a way that actively works against their body’s natural biology. Although there is no research showing that SSRIs help with depression or even that serotonin is the main driver for depression, they are the most commonly prescribed treatment, even for mild cases. These medications often cause damaging side effects and do nothing to treat the lifestyle factors that are at the root of circadian dysfunction. By getting morning sunlight, reducing artificial light exposure, and blocking blue light in the evenings, your circadian rhythm will begin to properly regulate itself and you will see a marked improvement in both mental and physical health symptoms, all without the help of any medications. People are quick to discount the efficacy of self care, because it sounds too simple and it is easier to think of a pill as a cure. As electromagnetic beings, humans are designed to get their energy from the sun and nature. When you start to live in a way that aligns with your biology, you will be amazed at how much better you feel. Quotes

01 Feb 2023 | Ep 009: Talent’s Not Enough, Why Elite Athletes Need To Optimize Their Circadian Biology | 00:35:34
“There's no exercise that you can teach what you learn on the streets,” explains Taylor Davidson, Founder of Football Entangled. After experiencing a sports-related stress fracture, Taylor became fascinated by human health, leading him down the road of quantum biology. Today, guest host Jason Oke and Taylor discuss why athletes need to improve their circadian rhythm for peak athletic performance. Through Football Entangled, Taylor works with footballers to overcome injuries and maximize their talent through the principles of quantum biology. He has built his system around three pillars: your mitochondrial health, your internal foundation (athletic ability), and the game itself. By putting yourself in the right environment for optimal vitality, you will be surprised at how much better you will be. Although many people only take things seriously when making a financial investment, the best changes for our fitness are free, such as natural sunlight. By looking at athletes from poorer countries, who do not have access to fancy cleats or programs, you can see the benefits of simply playing outside, learning from the competition, and understanding how your body actually functions. You need to get outside whether you play football, soccer, or any sport. When you’re outside, you not only improve your mitochondrial health, but you can be in a position to learn on the field. Although there are exercises and drills you can always do, learning from playing is how you get to a high level of performance. Quotes

20 Jul 2023 | Ep 033: Strongman Robert Jacobs On Circadian Timed Eating & Exercising | 01:19:25
“You have to change your lifestyle. Otherwise, nothing else is going to change,” explains Robert Jacobs, strength and conditioning coach and competitive strongman. As a coach and competitor, Robert has firsthand experience on the benefits of proper strength training and conditioning. Even non-athletes can benefit tremendously from basic strength training for increased muscle mass and longevity. As a big proponent of the incredible power of small changes for influencing bigger long term change, Robert prefers lifestyle changes over short term, band aid type solutions like supplements. In this episode, Robert speaks with host Meredith Oke about the benefits of circadian timed eating and exercising for overall health and wellness. Small changes like getting up and seeing the sunrise each morning can lead to huge improvements in health. The busy way modern people live is often completely out of rhythm with the natural way the human body was designed to work. People worry so much about what they are eating, that they do not realize ‘what’ is only part of the picture. In many cases, when you eat actually plays a larger role on your body than what you eat. Your body is meant to follow a diurnal rhythm. When you eat dinner after dark or snack on carbs late at night, you are confusing your body’s signals and reducing your ability to rest and recover during sleep. When you align your eating habits and exercise times with the natural circadian rhythm, you will gain muscle mass, lose weight, sleep better, and perform better throughout the day. Everyone knows that eating right and exercising are essential for a healthy lifestyle. What people may not realize is that the timing of when you eat and exercise may actually play a larger role in your overall health and fitness than what you are eating or the types of exercise you are doing. If you are looking to improve your health, start with small changes. Even the littlest change in your habits can have big results. Quotes

12 Dec 2024 | EP 107: Mitochondrial Poison & Breaking Free From The Prescription Paradigm | 01:24:08
“Statins are prescribed like they’re candy—they’re not. They’re mitochondrial poison,” says Francisco Gutierrez, MD, allopathic trained physician specializing in internal medicine, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to explain why these drugs—which remain among the top three most prescribed in the U.S—not only do nothing for the primary prevention of heart disease but, for most people, do more harm than good. The mass overprescription of statins is based on a misunderstanding of the role cholesterol plays in the body, a misguided correlation between LDL and heart disease, flawed metrics and propaganda. Today, Dr. Francisco explains what we’re getting wrong about metabolic syndrome and how having a stroke at age 41 led him to first question the traditional medical paradigm. He discusses how many of the symptoms we associate with poor diet are just as much if not more a case of circadian misalignment. He shares stories of clients who have healed many of these symptoms. He also explains the difference between relative risk and absolute risk, how the pharmaceutical industry creates confusion between the two to promote products. Join today’s episode to learn more about what we’re getting wrong about food, calories and exercise, and we truly build muscle–and it’s not about calories or exercise. Quotes

02 Mar 2023 | Ep 013: A Polymath PhD On The Quantum Biologic Connection To Everything | 01:16:27
“A fundamental problem that people have is they've got enough energy to survive, but they can't thrive. And that's where I think quantum biology provides this enormous lens to allow people to tap into energy,” shares Sara Pugh, PhD. Dr. Sara is a polymath scientist turned quantum practitioner with a wealth of experience across many disciplines. She has experience in everything from pilates and functional neurology to close up magic and hypnosis. Today, host Meredith Oke talks with Dr. Sara Pugh about quantum biology and its connections to everything. Whether you’re looking at how hypnosis works, why people are able to be tricked by stage magic, or health concerns like heart rate variability and chronic pain, everything comes down to quantum biology and circadian rhythm. When the body does not have order, there is room for inflammation to take over. Often people think changing their diets is enough to fix their health. However, 60% of electrons come from non-food sources like sunlight, and without that trigger, the body is unable to create vital hormones. People need to spend more time regulating their circadian rhythm by connecting with nature, seeing the sunrise and sunset, and eating and sleeping at the correct times. These elements are key for enabling the mitochondria to generate enough structured water for the body to perform optimally. When you get down to it, everyone is connected through quantum biology. When circadian rhythm is out of order your mitochondria cannot create enough structured water and health problems begin to occur. Quotes

04 May 2023 | Ep 022: How Victor Mifsud Restored His Vision Using Quantum Health | 00:46:39
“Going blind taught me what it really means to see, and just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not there,” shares Victor Misfud, the BlindBiohacker. Victor is a citizen scientist who has used quantum health to heal himself of multiple major vision problems that would have ultimately caused blindness. When Victor was 9 years old, he was diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa. At 21, his vision deteriorated so much, he lost his driver’s license. He became severely depressed, thinking there was nothing to be done but prepare for going blind. Then he discovered several books on light therapy and neuroplasticity. He started researching and realized that what he had been told by doctors was not entirely true. Victor explains that modern optometry does not want people to know that there are ways to improve their vision to be less reliant on glasses. However, using principles of quantum biology, he was able to improve his own vision by over 33%. In his research, Victor discovered that much of a person’s health comes down to their environment and also to unconscious trauma. By having a toxic light environment, people are cutting themselves off from the full rainbow of light while also suffering the negative health effects of an overload of blue light. Even if traditional doctors may tell you otherwise, there is nearly always something you can do to better your health. Go back to the basics and fix your light balance by eating your colors, watching the sunrise, and mirroring your indoor environment to an outdoor one as much as possible. You will likely be pleasantly surprised by how much better your body feels when it is not deprived of the rainbow of light it needs to thrive.

17 Oct 2024 | EP 099: Light Is Food? Circadian Shifts In Perspective | 01:03:27
“You can’t be helpless, you can’t outsource your thinking to centralized authorities,” says today’s guest Zaid K. Dahhaj. Nearly a decade into his work in the health and fitness space, Zaid began a deep-dive into the area of circadian optimization and is now passionate about teaching others about it—or more specifically—-encouraging them to teach themselves. A self-proclaimed autodidact with an inherent distrust of authority, he’s deeply skeptical of what he considers to be an incentive-structured healthcare system and of the findings which emerge therefrom. Instead he promotes self-advocacy and taking control of one’s own health. This includes becoming circadian optimized, as the lack of which, he says, is the root cause of nearly all chronic disease.
On this episode of The Quantum Biology Collective podcast, Zaid will reveal products such as sunblock and sunglasses—that centralized healthcare has told us were crucial to our well-being are actually artificially manipulating the light cycle. He explains why everything , the best time at which to eat it, and even the best time to get an X-ray according to circadian principles.

19 Sep 2024 | EP 095: Frequency As Medicine: Updating Our Mental Health Models | 00:42:26
“When we have things that work for people, it’s because of frequency, and I would never have thought that,” says Kelli Ritter, PhD, trauma competent practitioner who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss what she believes is the true nature of anxiety versus the traditional paradigm which, while not wrong, doesn’t provide the full picture, and looks to merely manage anxiety rather than heal it from the source. And that source, Dr. Kelli says, is not negative thought patterns leading to negative emotions, but trauma, old wounds we aren’t aware of or haven’t truly dealt with, which then block frequencies in our fields.
And our personal frequency, which is developed when we do the work to heal ourselves, is a major part of finding the best practitioner for us. Dr. Kelli believes that a practitioner stands to benefit from a mutual healing with a client when their frequencies complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses.
We are on the cusp of entering a new paradigm for treating anxiety and people are hungry for it, Dr. Kelli says. 20 Jun 2024 | EP 081: Quantum Herbalism And The Power of Plants | 01:12:54
“Plants heal themselves; they are their own doctors,” explains Amber Hargroder, a quantum herbalist and listener favorite. She returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss how plants offer the same healing to us by behaving in the body as they do in response to environmental stress.
In our modern world, including contemporary science and medicine, we speak in "logos", or logic and rational proof, whereas herbalists speak in “phasis” (faw-sis), the language of knowledge through experience, nature, metaphor, and dreams. They let nature speak for itself from its experience.
Amber talks to host Meredith Oke about how barriers in language, culture, and socio-economic class have historically prevented people from embracing the healing properties of the natural world. She exposes the flaws in scientific studies that deem plants ineffectual and discusses how advances in technology are pushing us to rediscover our humanity and our relationship with the earth.
Tune in for another engaging conversation with Amber as she explains how lies are embedded in our language and reveals the true, surprising origins of the Santa Claus tale.

14 Nov 2024 | EP 103: Light, Biology & Mindset: You’re Doing Better Than You Think | 01:05:58
“I have a sunshine problem,” realized Dr. Kelsey Dexter, endocrinologist, after, despite living an otherwise clean and healthy life, began experiencing neurological problems and a subsequent diagnosis of MS. After being “aggressively sun avoidant” for most of her life, she began “an intentional sun practice,” and her symptoms were quickly alleviated, sending her down a quantum biology and circadian health rabbit hole. Now, she’s on a mission to help people understand the connection between circadian disruption and chronic disease, and particularly to help address the overrepresentation of obesity and diabetes in the Southeast region of the U.S. where she holds her practice.
Too often, Dr. Kelsey says, people identify too deeply with their diagnoses and diseases, which has repercussions even at the biological level. She expresses support for her fellow physicians who would otherwise embrace preventative medicine more fully but are tied to a traditional system which works against them.
Join today’s episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to learn how Dr. Kelsey is joining the charge toward a new medical paradigm.

11 Jul 2024 | EP 084: Back To Basics: BLOCK BLUE LIGHT AT NIGHT | 01:04:50
“Why take the chance with light?” says Andy Mant, founder of Bon Charge, a holistic wellness company that manufactures blue-blocking glasses and other products designed to prevent circadian disruption and promote health. He joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to discuss the importance of minimizing blue light exposure, especially at night.
Even those who prioritize their health through diet, exercise, and supplementation often overlook light as a crucial factor in health and disease prevention. We might believe we’re functioning optimally, but many of us don’t truly understand what it means to experience restorative sleep.
Andy shares simple changes that can enhance health benefits and offers tips for convincing a hesitant partner or spouse to embrace these changes.
Join today’s discussion to learn about the origins of Bon Charge and Andy’s advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

27 Jun 2024 | EP 082: Launching A Light Revolution: The Book That Could Change Everything | 00:57:14
“We’re contributing to epidemics of psychiatric illness and cancer in the name of energy conservation and climate change without realizing the harm being done,” says Dr. Martin Moore-Ede, who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective Podcast just ahead of the release of his book “The Light Doctor.” Host Meredith Oke predicts the book will have the same impact on revealing the devastating effects of poor light on circadian biology as Rachel Carson’s 1962 book Silent Spring had on the now-banned pesticide DDT.
In this episode, Dr. Moore-Ede explains how advancements in light technology—from the brightness of Thomas Edison’s lightbulb to the blue light emitted by LEDs—are linked to physical disorders such as diabetes and various cancers, particularly breast cancer, as well as mental health issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. He also claims there’s no evidence that LED lights save the energy they are supposed to.
With the threat of a full ban on healthy light bulbs looming, we need to act fast. Tune in to learn the most important thing we can do each day to protect ourselves.

04 Jan 2024 | EP 057: Mastering Your Hormones, Life & Business with Sarah Kleiner | 01:11:06
Could retraining your body's hormonal system be the key to unlocking improved fertility, weight management, and overall well-being? In this episode, host Meredith Oke and Sarah Kleiner, a quantum health practitioner, explore this intriguing possibility. Sarah shares her journey from personal health challenges to founding a coaching business dedicated to hormonal energy management, transforming her struggles into a path of healing and empowerment.
Sarah emphasizes the importance of leptin as a master circadian signaling hormone, affecting everything from thyroid function and sex hormones to insulin signaling and immune system function. She brings attention to the scarcity of discussion around leptin in mainstream health circles, encouraging listeners to explore its role in common conditions like PCOS and hot flashes.
The conversation also touches on the essential practice of healthy light habits. Sarah shares her own experiences in implementing these changes, particularly avoiding blue light after sunset, to bolster melatonin production, which significantly improved her fertility and overall health.
Sarah's story, from overcoming personal health issues to building a successful wellness practice, serves as a testament to the transformative power of understanding and managing the body's hormonal system.
