Meet the legend of Dean Matt… the Pickleball Pilot and world record holder! Former CFO who found pickleball after moving from Chicago to Florida while continuing to seek golf ventures. He talks about graciously teaching his wife on how to play golf and continues his hobby of flying as well. Thes hobbies came to a nexus when he flew to 44 states and ended up playing pickleball in each one ! The intent was to play 48 pickleball games in 48 states in under 48 days . Introducing 'the chef' Rick Rosentengle - Taught tennis by coach Bob Gonzales in 1983. From there he went on to oversee a Pickleball special event at Sam Houston st University, and then onto the University of Kansas. Eventually migrated to Texas ATM Commerce and gained enough experience to impress Curtis.

He learned Pickleball as a senior leader for coach Gonzales ( football coach). Having sports experience he eventually earned his degree in Campus Reccreation ( part of the higher education/ student affairs in most schools) .
