These areas include organizing your digital files, setting up an efficient bookmarks bar, and creating a documented process for your marketing activities.

As you listen to the episode, choose only one task at a time to commit to organizing.

If you experience stress, overwhelm, or frustration because you are constantly looking for things, reinventing the wheel each time you take action, or lack efficiency, then listen in. Investing time to organize these three areas will save you so much time and create joy and peace as you work on your computer and in your business.

02 Apr 202449 | 6 Ways to Help Your Clients Have More Success00:14:37

Purchase the Idea Tracker today (the price goes up on 4/16/24) and be automatically registered for the free workshop on April 15 at 12:00 PM Central Time.

In the workshop, I will help you set up your Idea Tracker Dashboard, learn some easy formatting tricks, customize it with your categories, and walk away feeling organized and ready to input all your ideas.

In this episode, I'm delving into six specific ways to refine your coaching program so your students can experience more success and rave about their experiences in your course and with you as their coach.

I drew insights from my students' feedback, the changes I'm making inside Organized Coach Academy, and my personal experiences in the courses and coaching programs I've been in.

Key Points:

➡️  Include a table of contents

Explore the significance of providing a comprehensive table of contents for your coaching program. Learn how it offers clarity and helps students/clients navigate course content efficiently.

➡️  Provide Checklists for Each Module

Adding a checklist can streamline the learning process for participants, fostering a sense of accomplishment as they check items off, track their progress, stay motivated, and celebrate wins.

➡️  Share how you (as the expert) would do it

Share your expertise on how YOU, as the expert, recommend that they navigate through your program. Guide participants on the ideal approach to maximize their learning experience.

➡️  Review and Recap

Consider incorporating periodic review sessions to reinforce where documents and trainings are, remind them of important features, tour the portal, and assist participants in tracking their progress effectively.

➡️  Open Communication and Feedback

Emphasize the importance of establishing an environment conducive to open communication. Encourage participants to seek clarification, ask questions, and provide feedback on their learning journey.

➡️  Make everything searchable

When you teach your students and clients to search your content for the answers, you empower them. But you need to make it easy! Videos are not searchable, so be sure to include a synopsis with the key search terms or the transcripts in written form so they can find what they are looking for.

Implementing these strategies can transform your coaching program, enrich participants' learning experiences, and enable tangible progress toward their goals.

Reflect on these insights and identify one area within your coaching program where you can improve using one of the six ways to client success.

19 Mar 202447 | Want an Organized Coaching Business? 3 Essential Pillars00:19:42

Do you believe you should be able to organize your business on your own? Do you look around and think everyone else is more organized than you, and they did it on their own?

You want the results that come with an organized business, like:

  • Saving time and reducing mind confusion and overwhelm
  • Knowing exactly where every file lives
  • Finding things quickly and easily
  • Feeling calm and focused instead of always scrambling
  • Knowing what to do each time you sit down to work
  • Spending more time with your loved ones, hobbies, or a passion project
  • Leaving work in your office instead of thinking about it 24/7
  • Becoming more efficient and handing off documented tasks to an assistant
  • Focusing your creative energy on clients instead of wasting time doing random admin tasks
  • Giving your clients an exceptional experience working with you

To get a business like this, there are only three pillars you need:

  1. An organized MINDSET
  2. Organizing SKILLS
  3. Organized ASSETS

These three pillars are the only reason you are not creating an organized business now.

Do you have these three pillars? Do you want them? Will you finally stop telling yourself you "should" be able to do this alone and instead join us in Organized Coach Academy?

In the Academy, we walk step by step to create the identity of an organized business owner. We learn organizing skills and practice them until we are confident. We build assets like documented processes and dashboards to bring all the information together in one place.

07 May 202454 | Make More Money With These 10 Questions00:27:35

Ever wonder how to make more money with just one thought? One belief?

My coach shared that she saw results with the thought, “The more I love myself, the more money I make.”

It's making a difference in how she feels and, therefore, the actions she takes and the results she is having.

A form of this thought that really got me excited was, "The more I love my offer, the more money I make."

I already believed this because I knew that if I really loved my offer, I would show up with more excitement, share often, and talk about it with more energy. And if I loved my offer, my students would love it as well.

But I also knew that I could love my offer even more!

So, I came up with ten questions - journal entries or thought prompts - that I could use to FALL MORE IN LOVE with my offer.

Listen to this week's episode as I go through the questions using my offer of Organized Coach Academy as an example.

Here are the 10 questions to prompt you to love your offer more. (If you don't have an "offer," you can tweak these questions to help you fall more in love with yourself, your body, your home, your wardrobe, etc.)

  1. How does your offer help people?
  2. What is great about your offer?
  3. How are you the perfect person to help your clients using this offer?
  4. Why would someone want to invest in this offer? (their outcome)
  5. What is the best part about this offer?
  6. What do you love most about this offer?
  7. What results have people gotten from this offer?
  8. What don’t people realize about your offer?
  9. What don’t you like about your offer? How could you solve this?
  10. How will I execute this? What is my next step?

Let me know how you use these questions to love your offer and how that changes your results.

Your organizing coach,

Tracy Hoth

What if your course had its own personal assistant working 24/7 to help your students finish what they started... and actually have fun doing it?

That's exactly what I'm building inside Organized Coach Academy—custom AI bots in every module guiding my students step by step, making the whole process smoother, faster, and way less overwhelming.

And today? I'm pulling back the curtain to show you exactly how I'm doing it.

In this episode, I'm sharing how ChatGPT helped me brainstorm custom AI bots for each module of my program, how I'm integrating them to make the course 10x more helpful, and how YOU can use this same strategy to create an incredible, guided experience inside your own course or coaching program.

Because here's the truth: If your students are getting stuck halfway through… If they’re ghosting your community… If they’re overwhelmed trying to figure out "where to even start"...

This episode is going to fire you up with ideas to fix that.

What you’ll learn:
  • How AI bots are making Organized Coach Academy feel like a “mini me” is helping every step of the way
  • Exactly what my bots are doing in each module (and how you can copy it)
  • The ChatGPT prompts I used to brainstorm my bots
  • How to use AI to reduce overwhelm and speed up student results
  • How even 1:1 coaches can use this strategy
  • Three questions to identify exactly where your clients are getting stuck
Your Next Steps:

24 Oct 202326 | Feeling Cluttered? One Essential Question to Help Declutter and Organize Your Life00:19:12

Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by disorganization? Are you feeling cluttered? In your mind? Your home? Your office?  If so, you'll want to try using this ONE question to help you declutter and feel more organized in your life.

Imagine discovering this simple question that can transform your life.

First, what is clutter? Google says clutter is a collection of things lying about in an untidy mass. I like to think of clutter as anything that keeps you from what you want. It could be thoughts, stuff, distractions, routines, piles, etc.

In what area of your life or business are you feeling cluttered the most?

In this episode, I am sharing ONE question you can ask yourself. Ask this every time you leave a room. Every time you move on from one project to another. Every time you feel overwhelmed (cluttered in your mind). You can also ask it every time you feel doubt in your business or when you're standing in your kitchen looking around in awe at the mess around you.

In the podcast, I share a bunch of examples of how I use this in my life, how my clients use it, and areas you could try to use it.

I like to compare the process to an unexpected example. Intrigued? Stay tuned to find out how this one question can revolutionize your approach to decluttering and organizing. Message me on Instagram here to let me know how you've used it in your life to eliminate clutter and become more organized.

The key moments in this episode are:

06 Feb 202441 | Struggling to Grow Your Business? Simplify Your Foundations with TaVona Denise00:43:37

Register for the new FREE workshop: 3 Simple Steps to an Organized (and Profitable) Coaching Business

Are you struggling to grow your coaching business? In this episode, TaVona Denise explains the foundational principles of business by describing her ABCs of Impact. Getting these foundations in place is the solution to growing your business. Plus she shares the one thing most coaches forget to set up in the beginning.

How do we create more income, more impact, and more flow? Have these five foundations (TaVona's ABCs) in place:

  • Attract the right people. TaVona helps you evaluate and create a strategy to attract your ideal client based on your personality, preferences, strengths, stage of life or business, and business model. Networking anyone? Being a good human. Making friends. Connecting.
  • Build relationships and rapport. Educate and nurture and make these people feel safe and take steps toward their desired outcome. Creating content is this step.
  • Convert from potential clients to paying clients.
  • Deliver the services you sold.
  • Evaluate each of the four areas above.

Which of the ABCs do you find most challenging?

Once you have your strategy in place there are three reasons you might not be able to effectively execute it. If you find yourself here, do you have a gap in one of these areas?

  • Mindset
  • Skillset
  • Assets

If you want to find out the ONE thing that coaches forget to do in the beginning, listen to the episode. Here's a clue: Don't be driving around burning up all your gas. Are you going the scenic route? Tollway? Train? Or plane?

Coaches, consultants, and experts go to TaVona when their business isn’t moving like it should or it hurts when they try to move it. She uses her unique background as a physical therapist turned master certified life and business coach to help entrepreneurs with big hearts build businesses full of their favorite clients that make lots of money…WITHOUT burning themselves out or giving up their values in the process.

Using her approach to offer creation and Minimalist Marketing™, her clients have generated 6-figures plus with an email list of only a few hundred people and less than 2,000 followers on social media, all while working 4 days a week.

When she is not handling business, you can find her singing karaoke or enjoying the white sands and beautiful blue waters of Mexico which she currently calls home.

Does this sound familiar? You're trying to grow your coaching business. One day you're on top of the world because you signed a new client. The next week you didn't follow your plan (feel shame), are so behind on your never-ending tech-nightmare to-do list (feel frustration), you haven't gotten a single response from any of your social media posts (feel embarrassed), and just want to quit it all.

But then you decide you don't want to give up the flexibility (feel hope) and really want to help people (feel purpose-filled) so you restart and continue on.

Repeat that with 10 additional emotions at least once or twice a month.

The back and forth, the quitting, the embarrassment, the doubt, the frustration from tech, the disorganization, the passion, the purpose,... it's all too much.

But what if there's a better way to manage it? To think about it? To experience it?

In the depths of despair and uncertainty, Rhonda Farr found herself face-to-face with a pivotal decision on a bathroom floor. Little did she know, this moment of vulnerability would unlock the key to success in her entrepreneurial journey. By embracing her emotions of shame, embarrassment, fear, and worry, Rhonda discovered the astonishing power of emotional intelligence. Listen to this episode to hear her remarkable story of personal growth and transformation.

It'll leave you wondering... What could happen if I, too, choose to face my emotions head-on? And what does feeling my emotions really mean? Listen to the episode to find the answers.

29 Aug 202318 | Ready to Hire? Everything You Need To Know to Prepare for and Hire a Virtual Assistant with Samantha Siffring00:42:41

Register for the workshop: 3 Steps to Organized Your Digital Files and Save Two Hours a Week

Hey Coach!

How do you know if you are ready to hire? What should you have ready before you begin the hiring process? What should you be aware of when hiring?

That's what we're talking about today with Samantha Siffring. Samantha is a business coach and founder of an operations/marketing agency that supports small business owners. She has degrees in psychology, marketing, and counseling, and is a certified coach. She lives in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, three kids, and three pets, and loves travel, reading, and making things beautiful.

In this episode, I talk with Samantha about the process of hiring help in your coaching business. She emphasizes the importance of recognizing when you've reached capacity and need additional support. She advises coaches to assess their capacity and budget before hiring, ensuring they have enough tasks and finances to allocate to a team member. Samantha also highlights setting up basic systems and procedures before bringing someone on board. She reassures coaches that it's okay to seek help and delegate tasks that are not their strengths.

We both encourage coaches to overcome any shame or embarrassment they may feel about their "messy" businesses.

Samantha emphasizes the importance of

  • clear expectations stated ahead of time,
  • having regular meetings or communication channels with team members,
  • implementing legal agreements, and
  • thinking through an offboarding plan even before it's needed.

Here's all the nuggets we touched on during our conversation:

00:00 - Register - "3 Steps to Organizing Your Digital Files" Workshop? 07:16 - How to assess if you're ready to hire with Samantha's "closet analogy" 09:40 - Where to start setting up systems to get ready to hire

Is your home organized? Do you love coming home and being in your home?

In this episode, I share my insights about home organization.

I share my definition of being "organized," what area of my home is a complete pile of clutter, and what I think about maintaining organization.

As a Professional Organizer for over 15 years, I have been in hundreds of people's homes. I've seen it all. When I'm in a home with abundant stuff, I am overwhelmed. I could not get or stay organized with so much stuff. You have to start by reducing the amount of stuff.

There are three ways to reduce what comes into your home by becoming aware of your

  • Buying habits,
  • Paper habits, and
  • Collection habits.

Your current home, cabinets, drawers, and closets are the "containers" you must work with. When reducing your things to fit in your "container," start by choosing your favorites—the things you love and use often. Then you can move to the remaining items. This helps make decision-making easier.

Our 3-fold approach this year in Organized Life Academy includes a monthly decluttering focus, a mindset focus to help you create an organized person's identity, and quarterly projects.

Listen to the episode to learn more. If you are ready to make organizing your home and life fun and don't want to try to figure it out alone, join us now in Organized Life Academy.

08 Aug 202315 | Mastering Automation and AI to Boost Efficiency and Scale Your Coaching Business With Jesse Parker00:41:10

If you are looking for solutions to save time in your coaching business, enhance your productivity and achieve streamlined operations, you are going to love this episode.

I have automation expert, Jesse Parker, guiding us through the world of automation and AI, offering a lot of options to help us optimize our business operations.

Listen in as we walk along the coach's journey to growing a business, stopping at each stage to discuss what automation can be used to streamline processes and ultimately maximize the impact we want to make.

There are a couple of things Jesse said that stuck with me.

First, if you keep using people to do robot tasks, you will not scale. You cannot scale without automation. When you pick out the pieces of a process and automate them, you remove limits...it's magical.

Then, "Typing, clicking copying and pasting is wasting." Use automation.

Toward the end, Jesse shares an example that saved a client $9K! That was just the beginning.

Warning... Don't get overwhelmed. Especially if you are not a techy person or if you are a coach who is just starting or if you're not interested in scaling. Let our discussion expose your mind to what is possible. You don't have to change everything you're doing. Just consider what it might look like in your business.

Enjoy this conversation with Jesse Parker.

I discuss how crucial it is to tie maintenance tasks to existing routines or tasks to make them more manageable. For example, you could clean your file drawer during tax season or refresh your closet when the seasons change.

I also discuss the benefits of setting up structured maintenance appointments and having an accountability partner to ensure consistency.

23 Jan 202439 | Struggle with Time Management? Google Calendar Tips You Must Know00:21:45

Do you find yourself struggling with time management? Not following through on your calendar? Forgetting to do important tasks that will grow your business?

I am here to help. I work with coaches (and non-coaches) to improve their time management. In Organized Coach Academy we spend a whole module on organizing our time. By knowing exactly what they need to do to get clients, fill their programs, and market their coaching businesses, they feel more confident and execute their calendar at a higher level. Try it!

In this episode, I share some simple and effective Google calendar tips that have helped me and my clients.

But first I think it's important that you know how you are currently spending your time AND what you need/want to do in your business every day, week, month, and year to run it like an organized CEO. Listen to see what I recommend you do first.

The key moments in this episode are:
  1. Analyze how you are (and how you want to be) spending your time. Data is needed along with a breakdown of tasks to run your business.
  2. Create an Additional Calendar to Organize Time and Tasks: Establish a calendar for daily, weekly, and monthly tasks. Make appointments at the week's start and adjust them to specific times during planning.
  3. Turn Off Notifications: Minimize distractions by disabling audible notifications. Customize reminders to strike a balance between staying informed and avoiding constant alerts.
  4. Play with using both Tasks and Focus Time: Schedule distraction-free project time. Customize preferences for notifications and meeting declines.
  5. Sync with Booking Calendars: Ensure your booking calendar syncs with Google Calendar to prevent double bookings.

01 Apr 2025105 | Building a Business That Supports Creativity with Laurie Smith00:41:07

Have you ever felt like your creativity thrives—but your systems are falling apart behind the scenes? 😬

If so, you are going to LOVE this conversation with my past one-on-one coaching client, Laurie Smith.

Laurie is an author, a workshop leader, and a fierce advocate for flow. She lights up when she talks about creativity—but struggled behind the scenes to organize her growing business, especially as she landed a book deal with a major publisher (hello, Hay House!).

In this episode, Laurie gets real about what it’s like to run a creative business that’s scaling fast—and how disorganization was costing her more than just time. We talk about the emotional impact of digital clutter, the power of honoring how you're wired (instead of fighting it), and how she shifted into a CEO mindset… complete with a sticky-note wall, a customized bookmarks bar, and a little Beyoncé alter ego energy.

Get ready for a warm, honest, and super-inspiring conversation that’ll make you want to spend the weekend organizing your bookmarks—and maybe your life.

What you'll hear in this episode:

  • How Laurie knew it was time to invest in organization for business growth and how it impacted her creativity

  • The surprising link between being organized and helping people feel safe

  • Laurie’s “book baby” metaphor—and how she wanted to prepare for her third "child"

  • Why the ability to find things is more important than having a Pinterest-perfect system

  • What happened when she started building systems her way (she carried herself differently is one thing)

  • The mindset shift that helped her stop judging herself for how she works

  • Post-it walls, branding audits, and CEO alter egos (we cover it ALL)

21 May 202456 | A Decluttered and Organized Closet with Sarah Horgan00:48:09

In this episode of the Organized Coach Podcast, I discuss organizing your closet and creating a wardrobe with insights from guest Sarah Horgan.

Sarah is a full-time working mom + wife who lived with clutter and found her way to the other side. She radically changed her own life after a stage 4 cancer diagnosis. Forced to examine everything, including her perfectionism and people-pleasing, she realized all the stuff (and not just the physical stuff) was standing in her way of living her life, her way.

After embracing minimalism and finding her way to simplicity, Sarah started Simple + Intentional to support other women in doing the same. She encourages and inspires others through her blog, Instagram account, and podcast.

Sarah lives in Toronto with her husband and daughter. She loves the outdoors, a strong cup of tea, and is following her dream of writing a book!

In this episode, Sarah shares her personal journey. She emphasizes that decluttering is not about the stuff but about understanding our buying behaviors and the psychology behind clutter. We focus on the importance of an organized wardrobe, offering practical tips for decluttering and organizing clothes to reduce decision fatigue and enhance personal style.

We also delve into the relationship between our belongings and self-perception, advocating for a mindful approach to consumerism and the benefits of a minimalistic lifestyle.

Sarah provides specific strategies for building a versatile, comfortable, and loved wardrobe that aligns with personal style and body image, ultimately promoting self-care and a more organized life.

Some things to listen for that really impacted me:

  • Don't start your day with negative thoughts.
  • You can't out-organize too much stuff.
  • Decluttering and organizing is a form of self-care.
  • Clutter is never about the stuff. It's about our buying behaviors, our emotions, and our comfort.
  • Our brains are wired for scarcity. We are teaching our brains to think differently.
  • Sarah defines an organized wardrobe in three parts.
  • You can declutter for real, or you can fake it. This will help you get started!
  • Depending on your season, take it as far as you have the capacity to.
  • Don't be tempted to buy things that are "okay." Invest in "amazing."

From our conversation, I'm doing the following to create an easy closet I love to walk into every morning:

  • Choosing my favorite items - analyze what I love about them.
  • Decluttering my closet by category. (jeans, tanks, t-shirts)
  • Managing my impulsivity. Being okay with the wait. Practicing the pause.
  • Adding a tab to my Idea Tracker with brands I love, things I want to invest in (missing pieces of a minimalistic wardrobe), etc.

Happy New Year!

Have you been reflecting on your goals for the upcoming year? Are you like me? Drawn to every planning event out there? Desiring to make a perfect year plan?

There are a LOT of planning events being advertised right now. And my curiosity about how people plan their year draws me to these events like a bug is drawn to the light.

But, they never seem to be exactly what I want. So...

I've decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own planning process and 2024 calendar. It is...

SIMPLE. Visible. All in one place. Content-based.

I detail the essential elements of my personalized calendar and planning process, emphasizing the importance of having clear goals, a focus for each week, and visibility of my podcast episode (or for you, it might be content (blog, YouTube, Live topic) and projects. The calendar includes sections for goals, weekly focuses, month views, podcast planning, project tracking, and WINS.

Ahhh, the beauty and simplicity of this design is helping me stay organized already.

I share my preference for printing it out as a PDF first, getting messy with it, and then printing it as a wall calendar in Canva and hanging it right near your desk to update and follow all year. I share my plan to use it to document wins and accomplishments, creating a visual record of success.

And the best part is...

I want to share it with you!

You can get access to my exact calendar. It is ready for purchase at simplysquaredaway.com/plan. This includes a PDF version to print and plan messy, a Canva template that you can print in calendar form, and a tutorial video.

Highlights:

  • Desire: To plan my business year with a simple, suitable planning tool.
  • Frustration: I can't seem to find exactly what I want.
  • Solution: I make my own customized calendar that includes sections for clear goals, weekly focuses, month views, podcast planning, and project tracking with a clean, simple design for staying organized.

If you're frustrated because you're spending countless hours creating content but not seeing the reach and engagement you desire, then you are not alone! Many coaches struggle with this same challenge, pouring their time and effort into creating valuable content only to see it go unnoticed.

Repurposing your content can help alleviate this frustration and finally get your message in front of a larger audience. By implementing effective repurposing strategies, you can maximize the reach and impact of your content, ultimately leading to increased visibility and engagement.

My special guest, Brittni Schroeder, shares how she...

  • repurposes her content,
  • organizes it in a content database,
  • documents her process so her virtual assistant knows exactly what to do, only working 5 hours a week,
  • organizes her Canva
  • monetizes her content

Brittni recommends three actionable steps for the listener to take.

If you're feeling overwhelmed, it's the perfect time to implement systems. Take the time to create a strategy and don't rush the process. - Brittni Schroeder

26 Dec 202335 | Are Your Business Finances the Neglected Stepchild? with Carla Moats00:32:43
Are your business finances the neglected stepchild?

My guest this week, Carla Moats, and I discuss the common neglect of finances in the coaching space, where revenue takes precedence, and profit becomes an afterthought. Carla emphasizes the importance of financial knowledge for small business owners, especially in coaching, to overcome the fear and intimidation associated with numbers.

Do you want to improve your business's financial management and increase profitability? Learn how to achieve better financial control and organize your business finances for increased success and stability.

Empower your small business's financial future as Carla dismantles the profit paradox, guiding you through the crucial steps to separate, track, and prioritize your revenue to maximize your company's success.

In this episode...
  • Carla stresses the importance of tracking revenue and expenses monthly and highlights the common oversight in the coaching space where many are unaware of their profit until year-end tax consultations.
  • Carla suggests various tools for financial tracking, ranging from QuickBooks and Xero for larger businesses to spreadsheets, Wave, YNAB and HoneyBook for simpler needs but ultimately emphasizes the need for a system that records both income and expenses for accurate financial insights.
  • We discuss the significance of setting profit goals for coaches and small business owners and encourage everyone to take an intentional approach to spending and investments, emphasizing the practice of deciding upfront how much profit to take.
  • Carla advises business owners to assess their financial health regularly, considering factors like profit, cash flow, and personal income by implementing a monthly finance hour, either self-led or with a bookkeeper, to review financial statements and understand key financial metrics to guide their strategic planning.
  • She recommends identifying 5 to 7 KPIs that directly impact revenue and expenses, tailored to the specific business model, highlighting the value of tracking KPIs alongside financial metrics to gain a comprehensive view of business performance.
  • We conclude the episode by discussing the importance of having a mindset shift toward intentional spending and investment decisions.

Carla is a fractional CFO and financial and money coach for female coaches and other service business owners who are making money, but not keeping enough. She brings her 30+ years of finance and accounting experience to her clients, helping them understand their numbers and become profitable so they can scale profitably and still have the money to live the lifestyle they dream of.

09 Apr 202450 | The ONE Thing That Will Stop Overwhelm00:09:48

>>> Purchase the Idea Tracker Dashboard today for an exclusive invitation to the FREE workshop on 4/15/24. During the workshop, I'll walk you step-by-step through setting up and customizing your Idea Dashboard. With all your ideas organized, you'll never wonder where that "thing you wanted to remember" is again.

Overwhelm. We all have felt it.

But the question is, what do you do when you feel overwhelmed?

When was the last time you felt overwhelmed? How often do you feel overwhelmed? What does overwhelm feel like in your body? Then what? What happens next for you?

Overwhelm is a feeling, an emotion in our body. Our emotions are a result of what we are thinking. The first thing to do is figure out what thought is causing you to feel the emotion of overwhelm.

Then, remember, your thoughts are optional. No matter what your circumstances are or what facts are happening outside of you, how you decide to think about them is optional. It's your choice. And that choice, the thought you decide to think, will cause you to feel an emotion.

We have the option to change our thoughts which will change our emotions, but it's not always easy.

This ONE thing will help you change your thoughts. It's an action step for you to take when you feel overwhelmed.

Let the feeling of being overwhelmed be your SIGNAL to do this exercise. This is the ONE thing.

And guess what? This one thing is also the first step to getting organized. By practicing this exercise, you are also practicing the organizing steps! A win-win!

Let me know how it goes. Did it help? Did it shift your feeling of overwhelm?

22 Aug 202317 | Behind the Scenes - How I Documented My Podcast Production Process SOP00:22:40

As I embarked on the journey of starting my podcast, I felt like a novice, trying to figure it out, typing the steps I'd take into my Google Doc, and figuring it out as I went. That's how developing a process works. Messy. Raw. Getting it on paper. Refining as you go.

Then, this messy document transformed into a well-structured plan, guiding me through the production process, from recording to editing, scheduling to promoting.

It started as an overwhelming task. But I trusted in the process and kept at it. Now as I reflect on my journey, I can't help but thank my past self for her persistence.

Listen in as I give you a sneak peek into my process, sharing the 6 steps I used to create this standard operating procedure (SOP). Don't worry, if you don't have a podcast, I also discuss the other areas in your business you might want to start documenting your processes.

I'm also giving you access to my Podcast Production SOP! Make a copy and make it your own. Use the structure to start documenting your other tasks as well. Let me know how it goes!

Would your clients say your onboarding experience is so-so, above average, or luxurious? How smooth is the process for you? Do you have it documented?

Today, I'm talking about how to efficiently structure and document your onboarding process to ensure consistency and a positive experience for all your clients.

I share four real-life examples from other coaches in the industry, walk you through the steps to document your onboarding process, and give you a few things to consider...

  1. Does your onboarding process and what your new client experiences match your brand? Is it high-end, customized, uncluttered, fun, or stylish?
  2. Is there anything you can simplify in this process? Delegate? Automate?
  3. Is each step documented? Are all links needed to do this process included in each step
  4. Have you tested your documentation? As you test it, make any adjustments to improve it.

As you reflect on your current processes, identify areas for improvement by thinking about:

  • Is your money collection process effortless?
  • How do you get the information your client needs?
  • Do you have an email welcome or nurture sequence set up?
  • Do you need to add any appointments or reminders to your calendar?
  • Does your process create reassurance or safety for new clients after making this big decision?
  • Is it clear to your client what their next step is?
  • Does your onboarding give off "care and thoughtfulness" vibes?

Be encouraged. Reflect on your current processes, identify areas for improvement, and make changes that align with your brand and client-experience goals.
