The Minor League Nerd (Minor League Nerd)

This first episode of the Franchise History Series is about the team that began as the Los Angeles Angels in the Pacific Coast League in 1903 and is currently the El Paso Chihuahuas and all their stops in between.

This first episode of the Mostly Forgotten Teams Series is about a team that is remembered today as the Columbus Confederate Yankees by most sources. But they were simply known as the Columbus Yankees when they played in the Double-A Southern League from 1964 to 1966.

Here's a brief explanation about what the Minor League Nerd is all about.

Here's  another team from our Mostly Forgotten Team Series. It's the story of the Vernon Tigers who played in the Pacific Coast League from 1909 to 1925. After several moves and name changes, today they're the Tacoma Rainiers.

This is the first episode in our Minor League Nerd Shorts series. It's explained in the episode what this series is all about. The first episode is about the Victoria Mussels who played in the Class A Short Season Northwest League in 1978 and 1979.

Here is part one of a two-part episode on the history of baseball in the village of Newark, NY. This first part looks at the Newark Co-Pilots who played twelve seasons in the New York-Penn League.
