On August 12th, 2014 at a luxurious resort in Bali, Heather Mack and her boyfriend Tommy Shaefer loaded a suitcase into the back of a waiting taxi.

On August 4th, 2015 in Pensacola, Florida. Escambia County Sheriff, David Morgan delivered a disturbing press conference, giving insight into a recent triple homicide that had taken place inside a quiet suburban home.

The grizzly crime scene he described and the brutal way the victims had been murdered was disturbing, but it’s what he said next that sent chills down reporter's spines.

The murders appeared to have been ritualistic. Part of some sort of witchcraft ceremony coinciding with the recent and rare Blue Moon.

A young couple set out on a road trip to explore Northern British Columbia, the Yukon, and Alaska and a seasoned biologist with some extra time on his hands decided to head further north than originally planned to take in the beautiful scenery.

It was a date Brittany Tavar had been preparing for, for over a year, July 7th, 2010. The day she planned to stand before a judge at the St. Augustine, Florida courthouse, to present evidence that would hopefully grant her request for a permanent restraining order against her nemesis. A neighbor and former friend.

Brittany told friends she’d been building the case against her neighbor out of fear, fear for her safety.

In October 1997, Joe Cinque uprooted his entire life in Newcastle Australia to be with his girlfriend in Canberra. He had no idea just how deeply disturbed she was or how she'd been fantasizing about becoming the star performer in her own romantic tragedy, with the final act involving a suicide pact. On the evening of April 17th, 2013, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a man by the name of Dr. Robert Ferrante, dialed 911 after his wife Dr. Autumn Klein suddenly collapsed on their kitchen floor.
