A tragedy at sea sets the stage for coming horrors. ~ Introducing The Longest Night - a seven episode podcast series / radio play written by Archie Burton Smith. Produced by the UC Follies Theatre Company. On the night of October 23rd, 1980, Andrew Wilson murdered his family. Following his arrest Andrew was asked why he did it. His only explanation: his Friend told him to. 30 years later, Jess Yauch, daughter of the sole survivor of the Wilson family massacre, travels to the farmhouse her mother once called home to find a box of recordings left behind by her family; recordings that may hold the truth of why Andrew did what he did. As Jess sorts through these auditory relics of the family she never knew, she finds herself closer and closer to answers that may change her life forever. Will Jess be able to uncover the truth behind what happened during the longest night of her family’s lives? Or will she be just another victim of Andrew and his friend?
