12 Nov 2015 | Jungle 2 Jungle | 00:32:37 | |
We continue Not-So-Newvember with a Disney remake of the French film Un indien dans la ville: Jungle 2 Jungle. The film features Tim Allen as a stuck-up New York commodities broker who travels to the Amazon to serve divorce papers to his estranged wife. While there, he finds out he has a son played by Sam Huntington and then takes him back to New York to teach him about "being a man". It's the classic fish out of water story as only Disney can tell it. Joined by staff writer Oscar Moreno, we go to hell with this week's Not-So-Newvember film: Bedazzled. The remake of the 1967 classic features Brendan Fraser as the geeky Elliot Richards who sells his soul to Satan, played by the buxom Elizabeth Hurley, for seven wishes. It's the classical tale of Faust told as only comedic director Harold Ramis could.
